A first time visit for us. Right from the start June and Carl made us welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Lovely hotel, food spot on and we are now planning our next visit. 5 stars from us guys.

We have had a lovely couple of nights at The Kingsholm. June and Carl are wonderful hosts. Room was spotless, best place we have ever stayed. Looking forward to returning in June.

My husband and I have just had an amazing 6nights, June, Carl and Lexie are the most amazing hosts. The hotel is spotless, the breakfasts and choice are Superb and June’s cakes everyday are great. You are truly welcomed and made to feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. Definitely see you next year. Thank you 😊

We absolutely loved staying here. Carl and June are such lovely people, so welcoming and easy to talk to. Rooms are excellent, breakfast was delicious and the little treats that June made were amazing. Can't wait to come back, great value for money. Highly recommend. Just had a wonderful 7 night stay after our long 7 hour journey we were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome from June and Carl. They were the perfect hosts and they definitely went the extra mile and made our stay the best it could be. The building is beautiful with lots of original features, it was exceptionally clean and very well maintained to high standards. The room was spotlessly clean with quality bedding, towels and again the extra nice touch of the toiletries/hankies etc. Even after a long day out you come back to some home made cakes/cookies which are left in the hallway if you want any. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, quality products were used and really set you up for the day ahead. The choice was amazing with branded cereals, fruit, good choice of yoghurt’s, home made granola (amazing), cooked breakfast made to order (bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms, eggs (any type), crumpets, omelettes, toast. I also loved the extra little touches throughout the breakfast area from the small milk bottles, jars with granola and fruit in and the little ties around the cutlery. The service and attention to detail was second to none. We don't have anything negative to say about The Kingsholm, it was perfect from start to finish, I cannot recommend this highly enough and the price to stay is exceptional and worth every penny.

Great place to stay, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was great the room was clean, had everything we needed. Great value for money and Carl and June and Lexie great hosts we will be returning.

Breakfast was the BEST, very clean, even down to the little touches home made biscuits everyday & so close to everything.

A real joy to stay. June and Carl were the perfect hosts. Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean. Thoughtful attention to details that didn’t go unnoticed. Car parking facilities were excellent, breakfast superb and rooms were second to none. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you both for making our few days special.

Lovely people very friendly, hotel is spotless, comfortable and cosy, breakfast was very tasty, nothing too much trouble, relaxing and warm… would definitely book again and recommend to anyone visiting Torquay. Cant fault it.

It’s one of the nicest places to stay price is very reasonable, great breakfast lovely welcome every time we have stop, June Carl and Lexie are definitely brilliant hosts. The rooms are spotless. Stop looking. Personally I don't think you will find a better hotel in Torquay. Great value.

Clean comfortable and we'll appointed. Close to local bars and shops. 2 minutes from the sea and fee parking. Nice breakfast pleasant owners. Highly recommended.

Loved it here. Short walking distance to Torquay town centre and Quay areas. Room and rest of hotel was extremely clean and tidy showing that the owners Carl and June took a lot of pride in what they do. There hospitality was excellent, you're well looked after by them both at breakfast and nothing was too much to ask. Thankyou for a fab first time in torquay.

Well what can I say, me and my husband stay here this May bank holiday. Weather was fab but where we stay was bloody lovely. Carl Jane and there lovely daughter made our stay. Lovely clean room bags of room breakfast was cooked to our own needs. Would defo use again would defo recommend people to go there. Hopefully we will be back and soon. Thanks again xx.

The room was extremely well presented. Breakfast in a wonderful dining room. The owners were so very nice and welcoming.

Absolutely loved this place, best stay in a long time, clean and tidy everywhere, most friendliest hosts ever, informative and always checking in on guests, we stayed for 4 nights and 5 days and loved this place so much we decided to stay an extra night! Breakfast is cooked to perfect standard and wish to be able to re-visit the lovely house owners again soon x.

Just returned home today from a week in fabulous Torquay where we stayed at the Kingsholm. From start to finish a wonderful stay. Room was immaculate and decorated lovely which was the case throughout the whole house. Hosts Carl, June and little Lexie were the best! Nothing was too much trouble and they took the time to ask about your day etc, breakfast room was very inviting with lots of choice and excellent quality. Would highly recommend we travel to Torquay every year and will definitely be returning to The Kingsholm. What more can I say but thank you very much guys for everything… I even got a bit emotional when we left!

Myself and my partner have just spent six nights at The Kingsholme in Torquay and had great accommodation at a really reasonable price. Rooms are over two floors — we were in room 2. A lovely room with towels changed regularly and shampoo, conditioner and cream. Plenty of tea, coffee and chocolate alongside biscuits and fudge. Breakfast was superbly cooked and you could have what you wanted including our tasty vegetarian breakfasts. Carl, June and little Lexie make the stay even more enjoyable as they take the time to ask about your holiday and where you've been and what you've seen. I would highly recommend that your next visit to Torquay includes a stay at Kingsholme.

A real welcome, reasonably sized, clean en-suite rooms. Great breakfast.

I would highly recommend this B&B, the staff are lovely and welcoming and the breakfast is to die for!
