Just got home from a 6 night stay and it has been lovely. The hotel was a 5 minute walk to the centre which was great! Lena was so great to us, always a smile and a chat to be had. Nothing was too much trouble. We called it our home from home, such a welcoming feel all round. Rooms were spotless and the bed so comfy! Such a great family run business. The hotel had lots of character which added to our stay. The breakfast was always a delight and service was definitely brought to you with a smile. We’ll see you all again soon! Will be recommending to family and friends!

An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Can’t reccomend enough. Lena is such a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for us, really is everything you could ask for. The hotel itself is great, clean and has a home from home feel. We stayed in the budget room and it was fantastic, not too small at all. Cleaned everyday with your tea and coffee topped up too. The breakfasts were fantastic, you got a choice of what you wanted — the veggie sausages are amazing! Thank you so much for making our stay so welcome. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Very, very comfortable! The welcome was genuine and warm. Breakfast was plentiful, and there was a good choice catering for alll tastes. Our room, though advertised as a small double, was lovely with a good sized shower in the ensuite! Everything was clean, tidy and in very good condition. Altogether an extremely enjoyable visit!

What a fantastic break we had at the Palms Hotel. Will will miss your smile every morning Lena, who cannot do enough to make your stay the best it can be. Breakfast is a must, so much choice, amazing and not to be missed. Nothing is too much trouble for Lena who ensures that you have a brilliant stay at the Palms. Stayed for the second time at the Palms Hotel in Torquay and once again it was great value for money. An excellent double room on the first floor nice and clean an exceptionally comfy bed tea making facilities TV good bathroom. Lena our host makes you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The cooked breakfast is very good and there's plenty of fruit cereals tea and coffee. The hotel is in a good spot near the town centre, shops, buses, seafront and harbour a few minutes walk. Can definitely recommend the Palms hotel.

The Breakfast is cooked to perfection and so satisfying
The Hotel is spotless on every way and your sure to have a very pleasant stay.

I went there for this week end came back today it was such a nice place to stay the owner named as Leena she is an amazing person very friendly and kind too breakfast was so good with great choices room very clean all over its well recommended to go back to this hotel A big thanks to Leena and family for taking good care of me and my family.

It was my first time away on my own so it was a single and I found the room really tidy and excellent for what I wanted for the 4 days I was there, the breakfast was excellent and the service from the owners was outstanding, I would recommend staying at the palms a must best first time holiday and spend it in the best b&b in the bay.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay, Judith and Graham are a lovely couple and are very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, I have a ligament problem in my knee at the moment and Judith was kind enough to supply me with ice and a towel so I could ice my knee, we stayed in the 4 poster bedroom and the room and view over Torwood gardens was beautiful, they also have a great dvd collection that you have use of and the fridge in the bedroom was a bonus! The breakfast was ample, buffet style and full english supplied. Close to the harbour and all the shops. We will be returning! for disabled people there are a few steps and a small slope up to the house but its pretty much the same for Torquay as a lot of it is hilly but if you take it slow its not a problem at all. I would never stay anywhere else in Torquay now I have stayed at The Palms.

Sam and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Torquay and the experience was enhanced by our stay at this lovely hotel. Judith and Graham are very friendly and welcoming, we felt very 'at home' while away which is great. Nice clean room, great breakfast and very close to all the attractions in town. We'll be back. We had a lovely long weekend break. Breakfast was great, beds were great, staff were very friendly. Location was spot on. Great value for the money. Hope to be back in the future.

I only paid £25 for a single room, but even that had an en-suite. Plenty of breakfast, friendly landllady, short walk to town. Overall very pleased.

Lovely! great location, owners are lovely and the rooms are great and well priced. Great breakfast too! will stay again and can't wait to see the difference as it's being refurbished at the moment apparently.

Run by Graham and Judy this comfortable hotel is 10 minds walk away from the town centre and a lovely walk to the harbour. The night life is in a typical English town style, not much happens Sunday to Monday, but The Offshore has a live band on Thursday nights if you like your covers. If you have doggies with you there it's a nice little green just across the road which when fully traversed covers just under a km. As we are here visiting friends when we come for another visit, we've definitely stay here again.

The Palms Hotel In Torquay is wonderful. Me and My Lady thought the four poster bed was marvellous. The room was lovely and the people there were very helpful. Especially due to my lady having a bad knee. We had a lovely time and would definately go back to The Palms. The Tv in the room was great and I just thought the place was outstanding and I have not got a bad word to say about it really. A must for couples Especially The Four poster Bed room! It was that good we booked a extra night Ding Dang Do! Gary And Ruth West midlands/ Staffordshire.
