The hotel is brilliant, lovely location, clean, nice reception area, room 6 is great with balcony, one constructive comment, balcony could do with a bit of tlc plus a table on the green stuff otherwise we'll deserved 4 star accommodation, and that's just for the first days stay, looking forward to the rest of a 5 day stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel at this point of time. Bull and bush good for pub food £20 2 meals an a bottle of wine, Indian a tad expensive but great food, Bombay express.   No criticism of hotel really just seagulls do make a mess. Will update after our stay but loving it so far. UPDATE Wow next day a table was on the balcony, excellent response, nice to have the owners take note of what their guests say, very impressive. Been here 3 days now and loving every minute, such a nice hotel great staff, top quality food. Probably one of the jewels in The English Riviera.

Stayed here for 4 nights last week and we absolutely loved it. Very welcoming as soon as we arrived and even got a welcome from their adorable dog chip. We stayed in room 6 which was very clean and spacious and had a lovely balcony which we sat on most evenings. Great location and only a short walk to the sea front and restaurants. We will definitely be returning hopefully next year.

Only stayed 1 night in this lovely hotel with my partner but it was fantastic. When you first walk in you notice how clean and fresh everything is. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely. Plenty of tea coffee facility in there which I was happy about (I drink a lot of tea). We even had the pet seagull tapping on our window when we arrived and in the morning when it saw us. Breakfast was superb and the owners and staff making you feel very welcome. Only downfall I have is we couldn't stay any longer.

A beautiful hotel with a contemporary interior. The owners were friendly and very helpful with directions and suggestions for days out. The breakfast was substantial and very tasty. I will stay here again.

Lovely hotel run by lovely people … very warm welcome, very clean rooms and great breakfasts … located 5mins walk from the beach … highly recommended.

So very impressed! The most comfortable sleep we have enjoyed while travelling. Spotlessly clean, elegant house. Very good vibe, lovely family. Best breakfast I've ever had!

Very out date the people there were not to friendly. But did like the bar been open from dinner time.

Free range eggs was the best part about breakfast. To only be able to have it between 8.30am and 9.30am was a bit restrictive.

Just want to say a massive thankyou to the Hotel Iona for a lovely stay over the past week me and my partner loved every last bit the room, the friendliness, the service and the scenery we just couldnt of pick a fault with it at all! The Hotels situated a short walk away from alot of the main attractions, shops and restaurants which was a massive bonus for us and also we werent far away from Zoo's such as living coasts and paignton. We also popped down to a hidden gem along ansteys cove to get some food and try out kayaking. Overall Great Uk location and Great Hotel we aim to come back again in the future Martin & Lauren from Newcastle Upon Tyne.

All the Iona's rooms are comfortable, well decorated and spotlessly clean. Roy and Marita are great hosts, their breakfasts are fresh and tasty and served in a delightful conservatory. The Iona is close to the seafront and town centre. What more could you want from a B&B in Torquay, England's top rated seaside destination?

Had a fantastic stay. Lovely and comfortable rooms. Food and service top notch.

Stayed at Hotel Iona twice and will go back again, friendly helpful owners and little dog. I had a large double room and a nice clean modern bathroom, it was warm (when I went in the winter) and peaceful in the evening so I had a good night’s sleep. They served a nice choice of breakfast and I had a very nice meal there in the evening, you need to book this in advanced. Definitely going back.
