We often stay at the premier inn when driving from London to St Ives as it helps split the journey. We have found the family room to be a good size and fine for two adults and two children. If you book in advance you can get amazing prices. Always sleep very well but that could just be that we are always v tired once we arrive.

Brand new facility, clean and tidy inside. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The car park is of a good size, and you can get to it easily enough from the main road. There is a brewers fayre next door, so the meal deals there are helpful. Standard Premier Inn, which is always good.

Good value comfortable rooms. Breakfast at the is really good. You pay for breakfast at the premier inn and eat on the pub next door. The pub is a brewer's fair so evening meals and lunch are available.

Rooms are basic but very comfortable. The staff on reception are really nice and helpful. Food is served at the brewers fayre next door and the quality and value for money is very good.

The room was clean and well set up for our family of four. The staff were great especially as my daughter cut herself and they helped look at her to provide guidance and ensure everything was taken care of. We also enjoyed breakfast at the attached brewer's fayre which had a great selection and all tasted fantastic.

Another good Premier Inn about 50 odd rooms over three floors. Brewers Fayre next door. Lorraine on the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking but it's pay on display unless your company have already paid for it. Very close to the M5 bit far enough not to notice any traffic noise.

Nice, clean room. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Hotel is near Park and ride and it is easy to get into the town centre. Car Park next to hotel charges a nominal fee that can be paid for at reception. All in all very happy with my stay here.

Parking charges apply! Facilities are good. Food next door is better than some. Don't like electronic check in process.

It's a Premier Inn, you know basically what you are going to get. This one is about 2 refurb iterations old, so no smart TV (indeed the TV is mounted about 4' off centre of the bed which is odd). This one seems to have a strange obsession with tucking the duvet in under the mattress in weird hospital type corners. So of course you pull it out as you don't want to be pinned down in bed, and all the sheets come out too. The breakfast is in the next door, but separate Brewers Fayre. No covered walkway, so remember your umbrella if it is raining (or go somewhere nicer).

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Family room was very spacious and very clean. Would recommend to anyone for overnight stay.

Nice big rooms with the big TVs and my room had the inputs that actually worked. One of the quieter Premier Inns so a good sound sleep. Attached pub had is a brewers fayre so a typical pub style menu is on offer. Breakfasts are buffet which was fine for a buffet but doesn't beat a cooked to order breakfast. All in a very good hotel with excellent and warm staff.

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. Only complaint is the high chairs in the restaurant. Not very clean and less secure for younger babies.

The hotel is fairly new! The room are equipped with the basic necessities. Staff are polite and the service is fast as well! Location is near 24 hours subway and dominos so if you're hungry at night, you can just cross a road and you're there! Highly recommended for short stays.

I quite liked this one. Premier Inn's are much the same, so the only things to really note were that I'd been put in a disabled room, which meant a nice big bathroom/wetroom, and the bed was slightly lower to the ground than normal. Which is fine (less far to fall when I crawled out of it on the morning). Breakfast was good. The Brewers Fayre next door did buffet style all you can eat, cooked and continental. Kept me going throughout the day. Also served at 6:30am on weekdays, early enough for those there on business. Parking was extra. £2.50 per 24 hours, which isn't taking the piss.

Plenty of parking. Staff were really helpful regarding local amenities I needed to visit. Room was the usual good standard. Despite being next to a main road and my room facing it, there was no traffic noise in the room at all and I had a peaceful night. Buffet breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was the usual good standard and despite being busy I was able to eat in good time.

The premier Inn was very clean and comfortable, the attached restaurant was very good, offering a superb breakfast. However we weren't impressed with being charged a car parking fee! Surely hotel residents shouldn't have to pay this. There was no alternative parking available, so left with no choice but to pay. We shall definitely think twice and check carefully for car parking before booking a premier Inn again.

Room was clean and attractive but the bed was awful, it was so uncomfortable. I guess they'd had complaints about it before as it had two toppers. The room was too hot for me, but I couldn't get the control lower than 19 when I left no one asked how I'd slept.

Really friendly staff. Rooms are clean and decent sized and hotel is well located. Beds are great and best feature. Wish they kept ironing boards in the room. Because there's no phones one has to trek to reception to get one. That's what stops me from giving them a 5.

Very clean and staff are helpful and efficient. Reason for 4 stars is because you have to pay for parking. The restaurant attached gives visitors a refund!

Stayed here en route to Cornwall for one night. We didn't book an evening meal as we were not sure what time we would be arriving. When we entered the restaurant we were told it was fully booked and would have to wait for a table to become free. As my husband has diabetes he needed to have a meal very quickly so we couldn't wait and went across the road for a Subway. What was the point in booking a meal when we didn't know what time we would be arriving. Anyway we have no complaints where breakfast was concerned or the Premier Inn itself.

Been down here every week for 6 months on business best hotel around the J29/J30 area. Staff very friendly rooms are all the same and to a good standard.

Clean rooms with plenty of space. A reasonably priced pub/restaurant next door. Staff are friendly.

Perfect place to relaxe and unwind 5/5 star rating. Well maintained very clean. Unlike Thyme restaurants (total desaster). Brewers Fayre delivered made to order dishes fairly priced and most of all very tasty. Better staying here to eat in than the local eateries. Friendly and helpful staff both reception and the restaurant, Good leadership. This particular Premier Inn and Restaurant I'd definitely recommend if your looking for hassle free rest. So its a modern, clean Premier Inn close to the M5 Junction. For most tourists, its a convenient stopover. Friendly staff. Last year we stopped off for a night and there was no car parking charge. This year, £2.50p a day to sit your car in the middle of an industrial estate. When we arrived the pay and display stopped working. You can do better than this management!?!

Food as good, staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back again when in the area.

Perfectly acceptable hotel close to Exeter airport and motorway. Usual Premier Inn standards so everything you really need is provided. Friendly staff really do make an effort to ensure that you have a good stay.

Great location. Convenient for an overnight stop before we continued on our journey to Cornwall. Had a restful night.

Modern Premier Inn with plenty of rooms and in keeping with the usual standards. Downgraded to 4* primarily because they charged £2.50 per day for the carpark which was added to the bill and oddly we could not claim back even though the sign stated that you could obtain a refund if you dined at the Brewers Fayre next door… We paid for a two night stay with meal deals included so one assumed that this would be automatically refunded. Apparently not… I'll stand corrected if I see a refund on my bill but I am not hopeful. Having said that we really enjoyed the stay. The room was clean, quiet and well stocked with easy access to the motorway and southerly coastal resorts.

As usual the room was clean and comfortable. The on-site pub/restaurant had very good food for the evening meal and breakfast.

Room was very clean and tidy. Very nice check staff. Few flights of steps or an elevator ride to the 2 levels of the hotel. My room had two issues with the TV. No guide so couldn't see whats on. And the usb conector to connect my media device didn't work.

Typical premier inn, good service. Only gripe is lack of eating places around it. Brewers fayre next door, dominos close by. But anything else a drive away.

Room was typical premier inn — clean and tidy and comfy, issue was with the room allocation. Asked for a ground floor room due to wife not able to walk well and told this was fine. Got given a 2nd floor room as far away from the entrance as possible. Not impressed.

As usual the rooms and general hotel was amazing, you always know that the hotel will be good. However the Restaurant next door used for breakfast is a different story! Both morning I have witnessed the staff pour the contents of the drip tray for Orange Juice and Water back INTO the container! This surely intervenes a health and safety protocol!

Review by customer with his disabled wife at Premier Inn Exeter M5 junction 29 I visited this Premier Inn for 2 nights with my disabled wife. Without exception we found the staff very helpful. I booked a room (a month or so in advance) with a wet room because of the facilities we needed. When we arrived we were booked into room 11, we found it had a bath which could not be used by my wife, we had brought our own shower chair. We had requested bed raisers because we have to use a hoist and we need at least 5 inches clearance under the bed and these were supplied, and the young lady (Holly in the dryer) looking after us took the trouble to rearrange the layout of the room, so that the most space (where we need to manoeuvre the hoist) was the correct side of the bed. Unfortunately, when on the bed, my wife found it unbearably hard. We realised we had been supplied with the room with an orthopaedic mattress-the sort that would support a very heavily built man. I had to manoeuvre her onto part of our double duvet in order for her to sleep. The next day I requested a single duvet to soften the feel of the mattress-sadly the next night was still very painful. We know that disability comes in many forms, and it is entirely individual for each person. For this reason, we had our booking, confirmed on 14 April for the 8-9 August 2015. It would be very useful to confirm certain details of the room-i. E. Orthopaedic mattresses etc and confirmation of details of wet room.

A decent, clean and affordable hotel, ideally situated close to the M5, so easy access to the coast (Exmouth and Torquay). Good secure car park and easy to find. Breakfast is next door at the Brewers Fayre restaurant which is good but was disappointed with the service at dinner (waited approx 1 hour for food).
