Wow where do I start? Our Greek wedding on Saturday was absolutely perfect. The venue was absolutely beautiful, the rooms we stayed in were gorgeous and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. This is all down to the hard work of Nicky who is an absolute star and one of the loveliest ladies you'll ever meet. Helen and Lizzie were also fabulous in making sure everything went smoothly prior to the big day. Thank you ladies, Muddifords Court is amazing! xxx.

My daughter and son in law recently got married at Muddifords. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was faultless. Many thanks to Nicky and her team for making this a fantastic weekend. I would highly recommend this venue.

What a fantastic place! The food was delicious, the staff very helpful, friendly and hard working, the rooms were extremely comfortable and clean with everything you need. And the setting is beautiful. The perfect place for the wedding I've just returned from. Thank you. I hope I get the chance to go again!

We had the most fabulous wedding day. I couldn’t have asked the team at muddifords to do more and I have heard nothing but lovely feedback from my family and friends. It will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Amazing venue, really well laid out and beautifully restored. Staff are really helpful and access is pretty easy considering you're nestled away in the countryside!

Thanks to all at Muddifords! We got married here on the 28th December 17… it was simply brilliant! I couldn't recommend this venue more. The staff were excellent and attentive, nicki the owner is lovely and will help with everything. The rooms are 5☆ and the chapel made our day complete All the best to you all from the Molloys x.

My partner and I arrived at Muddifords late at night following a mix-up with our previous hotel reservation. The owner waited up to greet us upon arrival, showed us round, arranged for a late checkout and breakfast, and even bought hot drinks to the room. The hotel itself was without fault, including a luxurious four-poster bed, and everything one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Impeccable service that one doesn't often find nowadays from a hotel owner who actually cares. A rare gem.

Good wedding venue. No coffee at the bar which would have improved my mood consider ably during the afternoon. Not everyone needs alcohol.

We came to Muddifords Court for a friend's wedding this weekend. Being the nosey person that I am, I had a squizz at your website before we came. The line, 'You can rest assured that your guests will be well looked after throughout your wedding' had me raising an eyebrow as I've heard it many times before from hotels but have been somewhat disappointed. I can say that being well looked after is truly the case at Muddifords. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the food was wonderful, as was the service given. Staff were friendly and worked incredibly hard to make it a wedding to remember. Please pass my thanks to all of the staff that worked on the Swann wedding. Having worked in the service industry myself I know that people are very quick to complain but don't often give positive comments. I'm already persuading the husband to leave the children with the grandparents and bring me back for a weekend break!

We was very lucky to get married here recently, such a amazing venue. Nicky, pip and all the staff were fantastic they couldn't do enough for us even though we turned their beautiful place into a 2 day festival, had portaloo's delivered, Caravans delivered, camper vans and tents turning up. Nothing was too much trouble they welcomed any ideas we came up with. We decided to stay for a couple of days after the wedding and I am so glad we did, it was great to have a few extra days to relax after everything. We have been going to stay at Muddifords Court since just after they took it on, I must say Muddifords Court, Nicky, Pip and all the staff have a special place in our hearts and we cannot wait to go back.

Really enjoy catering here as do the whole team at Devon Catering. Great venue and friendly people too.

STAY WELL CLEAR! i arrived at the hotel to a man called phil aguing saying " you daft B*tch " to another women which I find disgusting. I was escorted to a room that smelt what only I can describe as damp wet clammy cigar smell. So then I pull the covers back to dirty stained sheets and black curly hairs? the toilet would not flush and the pillows were like rock! We had to put up with all this because when we approached phill he was very rude and really didnt want to know. And the food is something you would expect from a petrol station microwave! do not be convinced by the pictures because its nothing like that! plus they write there own made up reviews! stay well away.

We stayed there a couple of weeks ago in the four poster room. The room was fabulous and bathroom was amazing. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were congenial and attentive. We will certainly go back. My only regret was arriving in the dark because I could not appreciate the grounds.
