I love this hotel! so close to the college and it's in a nice area. The employees are extremely nice and very helpful.

Super clean and well appointed with new beds. The linens are super soft and comforting. 2 pillows on each bed. Customer service is good. My reason for the lower rating is that they have a deluxe continental breakfast andany of the items were out. No oatmeal, no cinnamon rolls (one of the reasons I chose to stay here. } and the hard boiled eggs were not fresh. They did give me some rewards points for the inconvience.

The property is located next to a rail crossing. Train horns blowing all night long. Pool was too cold for me. Bed was comfortable. Staff extremely helpful.

Nice room and for us the train I heard maybe once or twice wasn't much bother… nice place to stay… was first time, most likely will return in future… Thanks all! Oh thanks for help for places to eat too… names elude me but all was good to us.

Our family favorite — we stopped in for a night to escape wild fire smoke on our camping trip and our room was immaculately clean and the beds were very cushy and comfortable. The kids loved the indoor pool and we loved the workout room. Breakfast had tons of healthy options + real cinnabons. Highly recommended for anyone needing a hotel near Spokane.

I can not say enough positives about my time spent. I took a day away from home just to get away and randomly found my way to this hotel, I was so impressed that I came back about a week later to spend several days. All of the staff are exemplary! I never saw an unfriendly face anywhere! The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable, roomy, and just absolutely pleasant. Kcup coffee makers in your room, good coffee 24 hrs by the lobby, and a little 24 hr. Store too. The breakfast is tasty and generous with nice variety, (I'm fairly sure I saw them letting some guests grab a bite to eat a bit after the breakfast bar was "closed", again how great is that staff!?!?! ) The pricing is competive overall, and even low for the service provided. If you arrive before check in time they'll happily let you spend time in their comfortable and large TV room (after it's the breakfast room). The grounds are cleaned daily, there is a grocery store and much more very near by, and very good lighting in all the parking areas overnight. Just an overall impressive place!

Very clean and nice. Staffs are very kind. START breakfast is amazing especially omelets and gravy. While we were having breakfast, Diane gave us really good advice about the scenic view and the difference between i90 and hwy 2! With her advice, we changed our roadtrip plan to Glacier National Park :)

What an amazing place. Our softball team stayed here as a group for a week and we were so impressed with the people that run this place. From the manager who heard we needed a space to meet after a game and offered us a conference room and then let us watch the Miracle on ice on the projector to pump us up to the lovely woman that made our breakfast every morning showing up to support the team at our games. I've stayed at a Ritz Carlton that had less service than this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for going out of your way to make us feel at home.

Rooms are clean and neat. Not horriblely crazy about the bed linens… The service is very good.

New modern and spacious rooms. Lackluster bed and pillows would be the only complaint, but this detail is subjective.

It has great room with LED lights in the back of the beds and light in the bathroom that doesn't shut off.

Room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Walls are thin, as I could hear my neighbors conversation quite easily in my room. There are train tracks right next to the hotel & every time a train rolls by it blows its whistle. Other than that, it’s a decent place to rest your head.

Clean nice sized rooms, large flat screen, descent breakfast, pool, jacuzzi, plenty of shopping located close by, only 5 miles off Interstate. Very happy with my stay here, staff very accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay here for a family celebration. This only the one place to stay in Cheney. Everything is first class. Very good free breakfast with lots of hot items. Will highly recommend.

The hotel is one of the better Holiday inn Express friendly staff. Nice rooms What is a big negative, it's in a college town and they raise the rates substantially when there is an orientation or school move in. The smaller family owned motel in town leaves the rates the same.

I had a really great stay. The bedrooms are very nice, the breakfast was good. It was so clean and inviting. If I needed another hotel stay, there is where I would go.

Comfortable room with lots of extra space. Hot breakfast in the morning was very good. Slight noise from a train in the distance but not noticeable enough to interrupt sleep.

Clean, quiet, good location. Many choices for breakfast… I know American eaters can't resist the gravy, cinnamon rolls, white flour waffles. There are other healthier choices at this breakfast.

This was an unplanned trip, and my daughter and I needed to rest. We arrived at close to 3am, and they had vacancy. The night manager was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. The night manager gave us a late checkout of noon, however did not inform the morning staff. We were awoken by housekeeping twice (with the do not disturb sign on the door). Then came the phone call from the front desk telling us we were there past 11am (normal check out). This was frustrating. If staff communication would improve, I would rate this higher.

Location is fairly close to the college along with some good local bars and restaurants, not to much recreationally to do immediately close by. The hotel has been recently renovated, the rooms seem brand new and very clean. I would definitely stay here again thanks to the service and quality of the rooms.

Our overnight stay was great. We wanted a quiet room and that was what we had. I appreciate the staff listening to my request. The ladies in the breakfast room were very helpful. The room was really nice.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cheney because of the weather. I work across the street. The weather was too much for me to try to travel home, which is only 10 miles away. I am so very glad the Holiday Inn is close by. The front desk personal were very helpful and did really care. The room was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The price with the AARP discount was still a bit high for me, however I was very pleased for the welcome.

Moved over the mountains from the Seattle area and arrived late at night and needed a place to stay until we got our keys to our new place the next day. We were greeted at redemption by Autumn who was absolutely amazing. Even when we needed to raid the little store next to reception called "the market" for medicine and drinks for my family at all hours of the night Autumn was there with a smile and an understanding tone. The rooms were very clean and modern. And the complimentary breakfast had so many options from little omeltes, to cereal, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and even an automatic 1 minute pancake making station. Even the woman who we signed our lease with the next day, when she found out where we had stayed, had nothing but compliments to say about it. I've already recommend it to my family for when they come to visit us in spring!

Nice new location. Corner on the market as the only major national chain in the area. I think it's over priced for the location and services offered. If you need a place to stay while you visit your kid at the school. It if u don't mind a 20 min drive stay closer to Spokane for cheaper prices and more service.

Nice firm bed. Pleasant room on the upper floor close to the elevator. Staff were excellent. I was truly impressed with their friendliness and service attitude.

POOR Wi-Fi — constantly dropped connection. I'm tired of being told a story "yes, we have Wi-Fi and it works good" when it's all a fabrication.

I think the expansion will bring a lot of new business. I have had people come to visit before and they have been booked full every time, so I'm hoping this expansion will enable my friends and family members to stay here in Cheney when they visit instead of having to drive a ways out of town for a decent hotel.

The front desk customer service is unsatisfactory. Apon arrival to the hotel we were given keys to a room that didn't work. Having 2 small kids and tired wife this was less than relaxing as we stood in the hallway for 15 minutes as the lady walked around the hotel. Finally coming back to put us in room that was smaller than the other room. Which should have been compensated with some type of discount. At least recognize that you hotel fowled up. The front desk took advantage of the situation and would not recognize a wrong doing of taking our money and placing us in a less than adequate room for that price. I would recommend this hotel to a friend with a warning that the front desk doesn't know what customer service is. Very disappointed as hotel experiences hinge on front desk customer service.

Our group stayed here a week. Clean, updated facilities. HD television in my room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking spaces. On site laundry. I would recommend staying here.

The staff was ABSOLUTELY wonderful from the front desk to the housekeeping and breakfast bar staff. My room was amazing! While checking in they noticed we had kids and asked if we wanted to be close to the pool of course we said yes lol our room was right across from the pool they were so nice I almost didn't want to go home.

Great Hotel! I have stayed in about 12 HIE's this summer and this is the 2nd nicest I have stayed in (Cherry Creek-Denver #1). The staff was courteous and offered me the AAA price because the MIL rate was not available. If you are going to stay in the Spokane area, I highly recommend driving 15 min out of the way to Cheney. The local food in the area has a variety to offer plus the normal fast food. Grocery store across the street along with the normal strip mall Starbucks and small shops. The buffet was standard A+ for our liking and the girls were very professional and seemed to take pride for their area.

Stayed during EWU freshman orientation. Nice rooms. Great staff. Am breakfast very good. Coming to Cheney. Stay here.

A little expensive but first rate rooms and service.

Visited this hotel July 23rd for 6 days. Everything was great. The service, conditions of the rooms, breakfast selections. Would I stay there again, definitely! The pool was so enjoyed by the grandchildren. The only suggestion that I have is to install a machine in the lobby or near the washer and dryer to give change. We tried doing our laundry at 11:00 pm and we didn't have enough quarters and the lobby didn't have any change.
