Good rooms, competative price, tea and coffee freely available at reception. Matress and bedding really comfortable and clean.

Nice clean rooms at a reasonable price.

Good sized rooms and like the fact it's like old stable buildings rather than the generic premier inn block building. The heating system (electric panel heaters attached yo a thermostat) is loud however, with the clicks on and off sometimes waking you up through the night. A colleague had a room close to the road which he said was very noisy at times from the passing traffic, but the rooms set back in the car park are peaceful enough.

This Premier Inn is a bit different to most other Premier Inns as the hotel is a converted stable block and the rooms look a bit like chalets from the outside. One advantage is that the rooms open straight onto the car park and there are no stairs or lifts to contend with. The rooms are fairly standard and in line with what you expect from the Premier Inn brand i. E. Clean, comfortable and decent showers. There is a pub on site which we didn't visit. All in all the hotel was perfect for an overnight stay.

Have stayed here a few times and love it. Staff in the hotel are fantastic and the rooms feel like a little home from home. Not been too impressed with the pub on-site, but there is plenty of other options just along the road.

Good size room very clean. Excellent reception staff nothing too much trouble. Good food in pub next door. Would certainly use again.

. , We had booked three rooms for family arriving from the States. I was going to ring or visit the hotel to make sure everything was ok with the booking, however on Monday 31st I received an email advising me that it was possible to check in online. This I did and received an email to say that we were all booked in and looked forward to welcoming us on the 2nd August. On the 2nd my wife and I drove down to London and brought them back to Derby with a few stops on the way, secure in the knowledge that no matter what time we arrived we were all checked in. We arrived at Derby North West after 10pm, I went to the reception to collect the keys. The receptionist seemed a little shocked when I arrived as she thought everyone had checked in. Checking her system she was correct that all the rooms were booked. Explaining our booking she checked the tickets which showed that we were indeed booked to arrive that day but that morning the manager had cancelled our booking and let the rooms to other guests. On the tickets in her hand it stated that I had attempted to cancel the booking and it had been refused. I again explained that I had checked in online and had never cancelled the booking (as you said I couldn’t) and neither received a call or email that day to ask if you could cancel the booking. We were now in the situation of having guests with no rooms to stay, the receptionist contacted the Derby North Mallard Inn (the one we chose not to use!

Great location and good food in the Mundy Arms.

Unusual layout, rooms accessed directly off a central carpark, otherwise standard premier inn.

Great rooms, friendly helpful staff, yummy breakfast and a bed that was like sleeping on a cloud! Great value too!

Bit of an odd looking place but has nice rooms, comfortable beds and really nice showers.

Nice place. A bit dated compared to some other premiere inns I have stayed in. Staff are always fantastic so I come back here regularly.

The location is perfect as near the Derby City centre. The staff have excellent customer service. The breakfast and dinner in the mundy arms was lovely and it's not like a hotel at all! More like an Inn. You get service with personal space. Excellent!

Lovely place to stay, nice and quiet, staff are excellent, no fuss but your well looked after. I'm sure the food in the Inn will improve but the beer is nice, be careful leaving the area, the main road is a wee bit dangerous. Other than that, it's a lovely place to stay.
