Well what can I say other than Latimer House is just simply amazing. The guest house itself is so beautiful, Christine was amazing and so welcoming she truly couldn't do enough for me and my boyfriend to make my 28th birthday weekend was special and make sure I was comfortable and settled. I cant wait to go back already. Thanks Christine. Hannah xxx.

Excellent place to stay. Simple and just what you need. Close to all amenities.

We stayed over for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend at the Cottage Suite. The cottage was well decorated and furnished pleasantly with a super large bathroom with shower and large Jacuzzi. Having your own entrance was a bonus. The breakfast hamper of your choice delivered in the morning was delightful especially with warm freshly baked croissant. Loved it! There was no ironing facilities in the cottage and couldn't get Wi-Fi signal from the main building and that is the only reason I haven't given Latimer house 5 star. We did not miss the Wi-Fi that much as we were hardly in the cottage but I guess I would need some kind of internet connection if I were there for a working holiday. All in all loved the experience and would I stay there again? I definitely would, 100 percent.

Beautiful location great to leave the car and walk — which is a bonus. Tastefully decorated room. A hamper breakfast is a great idea. Have a few negatives of our recent experience though…

Clean and friendly. Not all rooms ensuite, which in this day and age is not acceptable really. Room 2 was very small. Breakfast delivered to your door in hamper basket. Bacon ciabatta roll was very hot and delicious. Parking is available but a little awkward to get access.

Very nice friendly lady Christine. You will feel like go home. Delicious food. Look after you. That is what we need on our Journey. Will come again and again.

We're made very welcome by Christine. The room was really lovely with a view over the garden very clean and comfortable. The hamper breakfast was fantastic with an amazing choice. The bacon rolls were the best we have had. Well done Christine and the boys.

Fantastic find, we stumbled across it as a last minute cheeky night stay after visiting Windermere Christmas market. Staff are lovely, very welcoming and professional, at first glance the decor is a little oldie worldy for my taste (very clean and tidy I might add) but I had a fantastic nights sleep and would not hesitate to return. Oh and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had :) would highly recommend.

It was a lovely stay in homely environment with homemade delicious breakfast in a classy hamper in our room. The staff was caring and friendly. Would like to stay again.

The owner Christine kirch and her husband is been extremely helpfull. Hotel is few minutes from windermere lake, all the resturants and shopping high street around… its been a wonderfull experience see u soon again.
