Another overnight stay at Burnhopeside Hall to meet up with family members who live locally.
We couldn’t have been looked after better. Our family picnic ended up being held in one of the lovely reception rooms and trays of tea and coffee, water jugs and glasses were brought in for us. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The dogs had a wonderful time too with plenty of walks within the grounds.
We were met by a very friendly turkey and piglets running around the fields behind the hall.
A beautiful building, decorated to a high standard but all with a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
