Bluebird Lodge Apartment

Tracy & Michael have been perfect hosts absolutely nothing to much trouble even catering for my Gluten Free requests, perfect place to stay. Rooms lovely and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at Bluebird Lodge for two nights with our dog. Tracy and Michael made us feel very much at home from the minute we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Coniston village and the lake was a ten minute walk away. There are several pubs in the village, all serving excellent food. We would certainly recommend Bluebird Lodge to anyone who is looking to have a break away with their dogs and we will certainly visit again in the future.

Fantastic location 10 minute walk from the village of Coniston. Stayed in Room 4 which was very spacious. Tracy and Michael were friendly and superb hosts with plenty of local knowledge. The breakfasts were sooooo good and the breakfast room has stunning views. All in all we had a lovely stay. It was our first time visiting the Lake District and we will be back!

My friend and I spent an amazing week in Apartment 2 just before Easter, and can't recommend it highly enough. It is a lovely place with views to die for. Michael and Tracy are the perfect hosts, and any minor problems were dealt with very promptly, including repairing a broken pair of glasses! We were worried that there would be a lot of noise from the Waterhead Hotel across the road, currently being renovated, but it wasn't intrusive, and will be a bonus once it reopens, as there will be a bar and restaurant on the doorstep. We will definitely be returning!

Just spent a week there the owners looked after us even when my wife was under th weather. Room and food were outstanding. Views r outstanding. We will be back.

Stayed in the Bluebird Lodge for one night during my hiking drip through the Lake District. The place is really good; the rooms are not very huge, but clean and decorated in a lovely way. The owners were really kind and the breakfast was one of the best I had in a B&B during my trip. I will definitely be back!

Tracy and Michael are lovely people and will make you feel at home. They are very accommodating and the B&B and location is great. Also Michael's pancakes are the best! Full English is top as well.

Enjoyed 2 lovely nights at Bluebird Lodge at Coniston. Comfortable, well equipped, clean rooms on par with really good hotel. Welcoming hosts, very accommodating as we arrived later than expected. Hearty delicious breakfast. Looking forward to staying there again. Excellent base near Hawkshead and Coniston.

We had a really lovely stay at one of Blubebird Lodge 2 bed Apartment — very specious, clean and modern. Amazing views and more amazing owners. Michael and Tracy made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and my 2 year old son loved Tracy, she even played with him little so we could eat our breakfast and he got lovely present at the end of our stay. Thank you! ;) We are really pleased with our stay, highly recommended!

Great place great location great people.

Just had a weekend at the Bluebird Lodge… what an amazing place. Rooms are very clean and well decorated, not over big but everything you need and breakfast was the best we have had in a B & B.
Great location, a coulple of minutes walk from the water edge and 5 minute walk to the centre of Conniston.

First of all, ignore any old reviews with the previous owners. The Lodge is now run by a great couple called Michael and Tracy. I had a really great stay there and the room was modern and clean. Breakfast was great with lots of choices, but I had the full English :-) If I visit the Lakes again I will be sure to book in at Bluebird Lodge.

Stayed there this week and had a great time. Brilliant location, great hosts and the best breakfast we’ve had in a while — set us up nicely for a good walk! Will definitely be back!

We had a very good time here, beautiful, clean rooms (rather at level with a good hotel), friendly, accomodating staff, great breakfast and a striking view from the breakfast-room. Also a very good place to start tours throughout the lake-district.

Beautiful setting, beautiful bedroom, perfect service.

I have stayed many times. I choose this place because the owner is so friendly and accommodating and is so dedicated to it that it improves every time I visit. The latest addition are huge sprawling settees to relax on and a log burner to send you to sleep after a good days walk. Views are fantastic. The five stars are not for luxury but excellent value for money.
