Just had 4 nights here as part of a coach holiday. Fab host throughout. Food was fantastic and plenty of choice. Evening entertainment was fab especially Cornish bingo! Would definitely recommend 🙂

Staff is wonderful! Dining room servers excel, along with the owner, who conducts the service seamlessly, ensuring all is going great. Food was outstanding, and plentiful. Above all, the staff is extremely responsive to enquiries and requests for service. Never once did I hear the word ‘No’. All one needs to do is ask, and if possible, it’s done! Limited Wi-Fi, but one can manage. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Priory to all couples.

Beautiful location, the staff were all so friendly and everything was really Covid safe! We had a lovely room with a view of the ocean, great place to stay and would stay again :)

We stayed for a 3 night break and were instantly made welcome on our arrival, nice comfortable room, great breakfast, brilliant hosts, nothing was too much trouble from ironing a shirt to advice where to eat. Enjoyed the location, a local pub just 5 min walk away, although quite a steep walk at times. Would definitely return if in the area. Thankyou for sharing your home.

This is definitely a dream to stay in such a place — with wonderful hosts, an amazing house, amazing family, super friendly dogs. Only 10 mins to a a great beach, 5 mins to a cosy bar. I literally do not know what can be better. Thank you so much dear Jane for your hospitality and hope your triathlon was a success! We hope to be back and our son Mark still recollects warmly his wonderful stay at your amazing place.

Another wonderful say at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Always a pleasure to visit, it’s when I return every year when I can. Lovely comfortable rooms, ideal place for all the amenities of Newquay too. Breakfast is delicious. The standout for this place is the hosting, Louise is an absolutely fantastic host and always reminds me of just how hospitality should be done. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

Fantastic family and brilliant staff.

Stayed here for 5 days with my family… 7 of us in total.
We had 3 rooms between us and all of the rooms were spotless with lovely comfortable beds and beautiful decor.
The hosts Andy and Karen were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was continental with cerials, toast, croissants and fruit. Juice, tea or coffee.
We had a fabulous holiday and 100% recommend staying here 🥰

Lovely warm welcoming hosts who go out their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The whole place is spotless clean. Lovely comfy modern rooms & beds. Right in the centre of town beaches, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. We highly recommend.

Friendly staff and good service!

I hadn't stayed here when it was Matt's but this place was good in my opinion. I cant really give too high of a score since we went in the off season and they were doing some heavy refurbishment at the time. The owner was chill and friendly. The refurb that was completed was nice. Theres an old board/wetsuit storage room that was avilable but from my understanding theres a plan to tear it down and completely upgrade it. Overall the stay was good.

Really friendly, They have done a pucker job on the renovation, I slept like a baby.

Just come back from our 6th stay at the Barrowfield yesterday. Absolutely brilliant as usually the staff were very helpful and good at what they do especially Jan e on reception, Amanda in the restaurant, Emma in the coffee shop and the bar. Will deffinatly be coming back.

We have just returned from yet another trip to Barrowfields at Newquay (10/02/2016) with Daish’s (saying another trip may sound boring to some readers) but NO! it’s one of the best hotels and short breaks available for this area. The booking by phone is so easy and positive, The staff at this hotel deserve a thank you for the service and attention to detail, and a special thank you to Sue on reception and to Ronnie making the evening entertainment full of fun. We have just had a week in this Bed and breakfast, the owners were very friendly and welcoming, fabulous hosts. Very well kept, rooms cleaned daily, good choices of breakfast, we will definitely return in the future.

Best B&B I have ever had pleasure of staying in. Carole and Mark make you feel like your friends visiting their home, nothing is to much trouble to them. Breakfasts are beautiful, rooms are second to none. Clean comfortable and decor is amazing and interesting. Location is perfect, quietness of a lovely back road but a 15/20 min stroll takes you to stunning beaches/shops/bars/restaurants/Zoo/park/lakes and gardens.

Great place to stay, really close to town centre and all the main beaches in newquay, really friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Had a really good meal tonight with my wife for my 52 nd birthday really enjoyed our meals highly recommend this inn.

The Smugglers Inn really is a little gem of a place! We stayed two nights bed and breakfast, and we ate in the pub both nights too. The food is beyond delicious. We were made to feel so welcome by all the staff too. It really is a wonderful place 💖
