We had a fantastic 5 day stay. Food was outstanding in both the wild cafe and the Herring restaurant and the staff were helpful and polite at all times. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful sea view and turned over daily. The only negatives were that our room was opposite the cleaning cupboard which was quite noisy in the mornings with the staff and also opposite the main doors to the corridor which was again noisy in the mornings. We will definately be booking again!

Wonderful… very very child friendly with warm and welcoming staff. Facilities are very good with several swimming pools, play areas/rooms. Adult areas are excellent with an excellent lounge. Views across the bay are stunning from bedrooms and lounge area. 10 min walk to the beach. Didnt try the spa but hear its very good. Most certainly going back again soon.

Lovely place to stay and a beautiful location. The only down side is the restaurant food which is very pricey and of variable quality. Not the place to eat if properly hungry…

A perfectly little one night getaway the day my partner and I became man and wife! Stunning location, great staff and service, fantastic spa facilities and excellent food. Strongly recommend.

Stayed here twice for the one night wind down which included the sensory spa garden. Amazing views, great food & very attentive staff. Can't recommend enough, will definitely be back again in the future!

Stunning location. Both luxurious and uniquely quirky. Every single member of staff I interacted with was friendly and accommodating — from reception staff, to waiting staff in restaurant to barman in the well-stocked bar. Love the decor, and sustainable ethos is the icing on the cake. Pretty flawless hotel.

Had a great spa day and a fantastic meal for valentines. Was much better than I expected and worth the money spent, though not cheap. It was the most relaxed I've been in a long time and very comfortable, will be coming back when I have the money.

Friendly, professional staff, great service, nice restaurant and cafe with great views of the beech. Contemporary, clean interior, child friendly. A very enjoyable weekend stay.

Beautiful Hotel & Spa with an individual identity. The hotel doesn't limit the space for its guests to sit and relax which is a key point for me. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the spa is included in the price a very welcome surprise. The pool is a good size and again the various saunas and steam rooms are spacious and couches are available to sit and relax with tea or coffee supplied. An outstanding hotel.

Friendly staff and very good food. They look after you really well. A great place for families.

Attend for there Sugar and Spice grotto. It was so magical… they made the event extra special for as was my son's 1st birthday. They all sang happy birthday and made it even more special.

From outside it's impossible to tell how beautiful it's inside. The atmosphere is great too and in winter they have a Christmas Santa Grotto for children. A real pleasure to have been there, and the view (if you have the room on the right side) is breathtaking.

What a wonderful place. We popped over for a visit to see Santa and it was amazing. The staff were all so wonderful and helpful. Please let me know early next year so we can book again.

An excellent place for families. The child care facilities are second to none and the spa garden is an unusual treat that you shouldn’t miss out on. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. The views of the bay are stunning. Don’t miss the opportunity to come here, especially in the winter months when you can curl up in front of the fire with a good book. The two restaurants are great value and are both relaxed places to eat well or fine dine.

We visited the soft play area which is a lovely feature to have within the hotel. Was a brilliant size, however I did feel that it was rather dark in there and I know it's probably difficult only having a small window within the area but maybe some brighter colours On the walls would help. Apart from that my children had a lovely time.

Cornwall residents and we stayed here for a long weekend without the kids. Above everything else, the staff stand out as truly fantastic! Can compliment them enough.

The hotel and rooms are nicely and quirkily decorated. The sea view rooms are wonderful; the views are perfect. The sofa is welcoming with relaxing treatments. The food is delicious and all locally sourced. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, but don't live any good stuff in your room, because they will disappear. Searching for our sunglasses, left in the room, funny way never find, if would be a crappy one, wouldn't been vanished. Family spa terrible stressful, only 30 minutes alote to join it, with 10 minutes to fill up declaration form and 10 minutes to change, then you may have left 10 minutes to enjoy. But you just will stress out, Food is lovely, but camera watching of your every bites. Beautyfull hotel, not vallue for a price, something very strange about it. Didn't like it.

Can't fault it as a hotel — great service, lovely rooms, amazing views. Added bonus is the facilities for children. Listening service in the evening so parents can have a good evening meal in the restaurant and drinks in the cocktail bar means we go back year after year!

It was a perfect choice for a family holiday. Great location; good facilities. Ugly building but the whole point is to be looking out at the beautiful sea-views, not looking in. Service was good. All in all, no complaints.

Wow, I remember going here as a kid and it's changed so much. It's really kept with the times, stunning interior decor and furniture and services on offer. The food was amazing and the bedroom was comfy too, yes in places it's difficult to hide the underlying structure but this doesn't spoil it one bit. I've now been twice in the last few years, once for a conference weekend and the other for pleasure.

Wonderful seaside hotel with a fabulous spa experience. I was running Training in their venue overlooking beautifully-maintained gardens and cliffs. Inspiring space to facilitate training. The food was excellent quality, thoughtfully presented and friendly hosts and waiters for our large group over 3 days. Highly recommended.

Was present for a friends's wedding, the function room the reception was taking plqce in had a freat view of the sea front making it such a romantic setting.

Drove six odd hours down from London on our first holiday with the new arrival (almost five months old) and I must admit I was thinking it could be a lot easier just to stay at home. Turns out we had a fantastic time and we'd definitely recommend the Bedruthan as a place for parents. The room had a fantastic view of the cliffs and the sea — we deliberately asked for a sea view and I'm glad we did, especially as the other way looks over the car park (depending on how high you are). There are two restaurants, one child friendly and one adults only, and you can pick from either menu which is handy. Breakfast was a hearty buffet with a nice mix of cooked foods, fruits, cereals etc and the staff at both were always attentive and friendly. We put the little one into their baby facilities for two hours on two occasions and she seemed really happy when we picked her up so no issues there. Also used the free night of babysitting we got with the package to have ourselves a night off to go to the sister hotel's restaurant (the Scarlet). We both had massages that were fantastic, and we used the pool with the baby and it was reasonably warm. The room had a steriliser and baby travel bags (backpacks with seats) as well as a pretty decent cot. There is a monitoring system in them that has good enough range to work downstairs in both restaurants.

Stunning location for a lovely, if not a little dated, hotel. I had an overall pleasant but slighty mixed stay. The biggest disappointment for me was the room. My single bed room was incredibly small and felt more like a room more suited to a university halls building than a hotel. There was very little room to move around and the bath tub would not have been big enough to take a bath in at all, it was merely a way if catching the water from the shower. The shower head itself was fixed and didn't offer much in the way of adjustment. The room was also lacking in air conditioning, so had to make do with simply opening my sliding door as a means of ventilation. The facilities at the hotel however made up for the disappointment of the room. The spa was brilliant and the staff extremely welcoming. The view from the relaxation pool is quite something. While staying at the hotel I also dined at The Herring restaurant which was great. The staff were attentive, polite and extremely friendly and the food was great! Breakfast in the morning was also really tasty.

Wonderful, relaxing spa. Enjoyed one of the pregnancy packages. The therapist was absolutely lovely.

The villas are comfortable, the food excellent, the service staff very attentive. Our children enjoyed the activities offered very much. Even better value for money in comparison with luxury family hotels in other parts of Europe would be the fifth star.

Exceptionally wonderful. It was totally amazing to find the restaurant served a sitting for babies and children before adults. We will definitely be going back.

An easy and so very relaxed family friendly hotel; the kids loved it — us parents loved it! We stayed at Bedruthan at the end of our holiday to recharge grown-up batteries having had a predominantly self-catering break — so no meals to prepare, no cleaning up, no thinking what shall we do today — or where — for the last couple of days before home. We simply stayed put and enjoyed the play-park, the pools, the beach, the indoor play areas, the lounge — the fantastic food and service. I do urge you to stay — it's worth it.
