Excellent food and fantastic service.

Brilliant service, great food, fantastic views. Have been there before too.

Not great bar service. My mum couldn’t get served at the bar at had people pushing in.

Great atmosphere, child, friendly welcome and stylish interior.

We dropped by with our muddy dog and we only wanted drinks. The staff were very kind and took us to a lovely table where we enjoyed our drinks and the view over St Michaels Mount.

Really enjoyed meals and good service.

Called in for a breakfast before our journey home.

We have just had a wonderful stay at The Godolphin Arms with a group of family and friends. The views are simply some of the best in the world and the hotel rooms are tastefully furnished and well equipped. To top it all, the hotel staff were so welcoming and attentive. They thought of everything and made a family celebration absolutely perfect. Thank you!

Such a beautiful place — we sat out on the terrace overlooking the Mount. The service was excellent, your staff are friendly and efficient and wonderful to speak to. The Cornish mussels were beyond excellent — some of the best seafood I have ever had! I can’t recommend them enough! Please pass my compliments on to your chef and your staff for such a wonderful meal! We can’t wait to come back!

I can happily say I would recommend every aspect of the The Godolphin Arms. It goes without saying that the setting is outstanding. It is then complemented by great staff. A natural, friendly service and everyone was smiling. The menu isn't over complicated by too much choice but yet the Chef has managed to supply something for every pallet. Nice to see all locally sourced produce which makes it more Cornwall on the menu! The atmosphere that has been created is very relaxed and when looking around, every table was filled with happy faces and as was ours. Thank you to all the staff from Pete, Penny & Richard.

Wonderful weekend and we will be back. Perfect location and lovely staff.

We came down and had your fish and chips and wine, they were delicious and the wine great too.

Great place, amazing view, brilliant staff but arty farty roast! Pickled red cabbage and stewed something — could have been sweet, carrot or peas pudding.
Plus side — Roast beef to die for. Please put back — ordinary food. Roast potatoes, carrots that look like carrots. Cabbage or Brussel sprouts, parsnips etc.
Rant over. Will be back to check. £16.00 for Sunday roast is expensive but not with the right ingredients!

WOW what a place to have dinner, it was the most perfect way to end our holiday in Cornwall. We booked our table online the night before. And our sea view table was waiting for us when we arrived. The staff made us feel very welcome, and where very helpfull getting our two children settled in the chairs. Tap water was brought straight to the table before being asked for. And the menu had some of the best selection of our holiday. The service was excellent being very fast and helpful. With amazing views over St Michael's mount. Can't wait to come back and eat here again.

Went early doors with out two kids after a day out on the mount. Managed to sneak ya onto a table for tea. Lovely food — I had mussels and chips, delicious! Service was good but of course the best thing is the view! Recommended but you’ll probably have to book.

Wonderful views, from restaurant and out side seating areas. Food good quality and well presented. Menu really quite limited though needs more choice. Not as good as a few years ago.

Some of the best views from a pub/ restaurant that you will find on these beautiful Isles. Food is great and service is excellent. We turned up as a walk in, but I would recommend booking if possible. Only slight downside is the lack of on site parking. There are public car parks a short walk away and generally you'll find a space (we did on the two times we visited). Good for letting that food go down! We will make sure we come back next time we are in the area.

What an amazing place! It is undeniably one of the best views for gazing at whilst eating but the staff, restaurant and especially the food was absolutely fabulous! I have two hard to please teens and a very fussy vegetarian husband and all thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I would definite recommend the baba ganoush and the catch of the day special was delicious. Thank you for such a brilliant evening, I couldn’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be for my first night in Cornwall.

The most delicious fish and chips I've had in a very long time! The salt and pepper squid was delicious too. The service was great, the location (the view) was stunning, the restaurant has a great look and feel, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I'd highly recommend, and would definitely go back again.

Friends booked a meal here to celebrate my birthday, we had a lovely time. The view of St Michael's Mount are fantastic and a wonderful setting to any evening meal. The sun set was surreal, helped by particularly lovely weather. The food was great, although service was slow, and questions about gluten seemed to be forgotten, along with the odd drinks order. That aside, the general atmosphere was great and the staff went to the trouble of putting a candle in the dessert — lovely!

Nice food and great view! Friendly staff. We got the local male choir to come in for a drink and sing some beautiful tunes :)

Food was fantastic, as were the waiter's and waitresses. The view from the restaurant is perfect as well. Price is very reasonable, particularly with the quality of the food.

Visited here for an afternoon cream tea after visiting at Michaels mount. Food was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. When we go back to Cornwall we will definitely be visiting again.

In the center of Marazion over to the passage on the water. That you go for a tea, a snack or a beer cozy and not too formal environment, good view on Mount St Michael, excellent scones and cream. Good Beers and Uprooso restaurant. Paid Parking in the whole area except for the maximum 30 minutes.

Nice staff, with only flaw you need as in a (fast food) all about running without spending time at the customers. We were standing still before we sat down the waitress spoke everything faster than speed Gonzalez and left. Location but clean, good food and beautiful view towards M. St. Michael.

Woke up this morning with wonderful view — over looking St. Michael's Mount in Cornwall. Staying at the lovely Godolphin Hotel in Marazion. If you get a chance, come! The hotel is stylish and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast is fantastic, as is all the food! Definitely worth a visit.

Very popular pub/hotel with stunning views of St Michael's Mount and Marazion bay. Had a recent makeover which has been tastefully done in greys and whites. Not cheap but meals are nice. Well run and friendly staff of which there are many! That's probably why it's expensive. But you are made welcome whether it's for just a coffee or a three course meal. In the summer they open up the area outside for meals and drinks, which is a real suntrap.

We stayed in a sea view room with balcony for a night — was definitely worth paying a little extra for the views. Would have been amazing if the weather was better to use the balcony more, but we made the most of the outside space anyway. Our room was lovely; clean, good size and gorgeously decorated. The bed was super comfy too! Food in the restaurant was very good (we had dinner and breakfast), and staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant also has brilliant views of the sea and St Michael's Mount which made the evening for us. We definitely recommend the Godolphin Hotel, and will hopefully return soon!

A beautiful place to go for a cup of coffee or a full evening dinner. The dining room has a spectacular view over Marazion beach to St Michael's Mount and Mounts Bay. All the fare is delicious without being pretentious and the staff are generally friendly and helpful.

Food over priced very poor quality greasy cooked with to much oil and burgers very under cooked overall experience won't ever go back for food.

This was the best restaurant we stayed at during our trip through Cornwall. The view from our room of St. Michael's Mount was wonderful and the room was so comfortable. We enjoyed the large television in our room, too. The best part was the restaurant, though. We had both dinner and breakfast there and both were amazing! We had a roast turkey dinner that was honestly one of the best I've ever eaten. Our breakfast the next morning was the best I had on the trip. There was a mix up with our bill at the end of the stay but the woman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and got it all straightened out. I would love to stay here again and plan on being back!

The Godolphin Arms is very special. Friendly staff and superb food. We have been there many times and never been disappointed. The views in daylight over the Mount and sea are spectacular, and at night time the lights of Penzance are reflected in the sea. A must visit. Enjoy!

Room 11 is an incredibly family room with its own area for the children and a fantastic master bedroom. View of St. Michaels by a bull eye-tighter. Great!

Great spot for a very late Sunday lunch. Very attentive waiting staff. Excellent view of the tide coming in on the causeway.

Restaurant with amazing views of St Michael's Mount. Lunch menu inventive with fresh produce and seasonal dishes. Lemon sole cooked with delicacy and served with vibrant selection of greens. Sticky toffee pudding, fantastic!

This was refurbished a year or two ago, they've done a grand job. The terrace and two dining floors have excellent views of the mount and there's a "beach bar" as well. The restaurant can be very busy. The bar has a fine selection of beers (Sharps and a few other local ales). You can have a beer trio or a gin trio which is novel.

I really can not praise this business enough. We celebrated our friends wedding here for a late brunch a couple of weeks ago. Very small group, 15 of us. The staff couldn't have done more. So helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, and fairly priced. And the view of the mount and bay from the eating area totally unique. Thanks!

We had a cream tea here and it was lovely. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was naturally light and it was very spacious. The views were by far the best part. It was a beautiful view of the beach through one window and a view of At Michael's Mount through another.

Food was amazing even though they were extremely busy. The views are second to none. Four of us ate here and would definitely return. Shame there is no dedicated parking but the nearby pay and display facilities are sufficient, even in the height of the school holidays.

We visited the Godolphin Arms after a visit to St Michaels Mount. We found the place to be spotless inside, the staff were really friendly and the menu choice was just right. The food itself was exceptional, the best we had in a long time. I would advise that the prices were towards the top end, but the quality matched the price.

Had a few drinks after the rain started to fall. The waiter was pleasant. The views were stunning looking across to St Michael's Mount. Definitely would both visit again, and highly recommend.

We come here every year when we holiday in Marazion. Very professional and friendly staff. We celebrated my son's birthday and the staff brought in our cake and sang Happy birthday. The food is very tasty and I love the cocktails. The views from the window tables are amazing on a sunny evening to watch the sun go down behind St Michael's Mount. There are hotel rooms but I have never stayed here so can't comment, but if they are up to the same standard and decor as the restaurant, they must be nice.

Nice location with a beautiful view. As we had vouchers we were initially handled as third class guests. First-class are hotel guests, second paying, this was what the guy told us: "front row for hotel guests". The cream tea was though tasty. They would have got five stars without the introduction. The service took super care of my allergy and advised staff later.

Although we hadn't booked we were able to get a table, but I don't think this would be likely if it hasn't been a Sunday evening early in the season. All waiting and bar staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, we both really enjoyed our meal and there was plenty of food in a portion. The views from the dining room are beautiful, especially at sunset, you can look out at Mount's Bay turning dome really gorgeous colours. I would recommend you go here if you want excellent quality food with a lovely view for a reasonable price.

We went to The Godolphin Arms yesterday for Sunday Lunch. First time we've been since it was revamped a little while ago. Somewhat disappointed to find out that there was no longer a carvery! Roast dinner very expensive, (£18 for roast beef), however the food was excellent. Not somewhere I'd go regularly for Sunday lunch due to the cost, but as a somewhat special occasion it fitted the bill well.

We were really disappointed with our dinner here. The food was OK but nothing more. I had a cheese and asparagus tart that turned out to be a tiny slice which was pretty tasteless and a steak which was tough. The atmosphere was also one of a busy Cafe rather than a restaurant. If we had been at a pub and paid for a cheap meal we probably would have been satisfied but we were expecting, and paid for, a high end restaurant meal and were disappointed.

We went to the Godolphin Arms for dinner last night and sat by the window. The view was spectacular and the food was good too. The best but was the desserts which were extremely large! Yum! It was a perfect way to end our holiday, would highly recommend. The waiter called Ruben was very friendly so worth a mention.

Not sure what is wrong with place. Great food, great service and fantastic food. But there is just very little atmosphere. Maybe its just me.

The Godolphin Arms is such a welcoming place in a beautiful location. The staff always make a huge effort with people with learning disabilities and go above and beyond with their customer service. We love it there.

Having stayed locally we called in for breakfast on our way home. The restaurant windows perfectly frame st michaels mount, so provided us with a stunning view whilst we enjoyed our freshly cooked full cornish breakfast.

Slow service. Slow to order drinks and food. A few mishaps, forgotten water and was expected to share 3 small pieces of bread between two. Food was excellent. All fresh and locally sourced from Cornwall. I had the mussels, fresh that day. Portion size was slightly below average, could have been a bit bigger. The atmosphere is quite mellow and chilled out, is missing some light music. Toilets are very well kept. Views are stunning, overlooking the sea and the causeway to the island. Prices are more than average. Overall, do eat here, you will not be disappointed on the food.

Had lunch followed by cream tea here. The seafood was excellent and so was the cream tea. The restaurant has a light, roomy atmosphere and it was a pleasant 2 hours lunch.

Fantastic meal and the location is truly beautiful, well worth a visit!

After buying two over priced drinks and finding a table with a sea view, were told that table reserved and we would have to move in 20 mins. Then by someone else 5 mins later, and finally asked to move 5 mins after that… Only to finish our drinks to see the table still empty.

Fabulous location with views over the bay, great staff all very charming and friendly, reasonable prices, nice smoothies, service faster and better choice than NT cafe on the Mount.

Can not think of a better place to stay when being in Marazion.

The food is very nice. But unfortunatley the staff is very busy. We were waiting 20mins for 2 coffee.

The pub/restaurant has been very extensively refurbished recently to make the most of the spectacular views across to St Michael's Mount. It is now smart and clean; the food is good and the staff attentive and friendly.

Three of us went for lunch here back in May 2013, all ordered Lasagna, all sent it back, was one of the worst lasagnas I have ever been served Tables were not clean, cutlery was not clean, very noisy. Would not recommend.

Lasagna was a bit dry but the chicken curry and sea bass were excellent. The service was quick and polite. You also have an excellent view of St Michael's Mount from the table.

Food was nice but, not really great. Also quite expensive. Waiting staff ok but, not very attentive and we were left quite along time with no drinks and empty plates on our table. It wasn't especially busy for a new years day and I feel it could have been better.
