Absolutely love this place Roger is an amazing host and is great at tidying up the bar he he x.

A really lovely hidden little gem. Set in beautiful grounds and location. My friend and I enjoyed our stay here. We had a twin room. The room was nicely decorated, a bit dated but suited the large airy high ceiling room. Immaculately clean, beds were so comfortable and bedding so fresh and of good quality. The room looked over the back with views of the pool. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Elaine on reception was great at advising were the best weather was from her web cam! The chap in the bar (sorry forgot name) so friendly, helpful and chatty. The breakfasts were so delicious and a great range of choice. Really set you up for the day! The breakfast room was lovely sitting by the long windows overlooking the rear of the property. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Total hidden gem! Wonderful hotel with friendly owner. Lodges and villas available too. Restaurant is superb — only open in the summer months — but well worth it.

Such a shame. Friendly staff, pleasant food, nice surrounding. But the worst nights sleep I have had in years and considering I came here for some peace and quiet from the noisy road I live in. Was very disappointed. I had room 1. End of the corridor and directly out side my window was some generator, or pump or fan or something banging on all night. At 4:30am I had to put my phone earphones in to try and drown it out. Mentioned this to the staff and they completely denied it was to do with them as apparently they turn this thing off over night. If you find yourself here don’t let them put you in room 1.

We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was a very nice experience. The hotel is very clean and well maintained by the owners. Around the hotel is peace and quiet and you can see old historic church and grave yard, it is just right for people who are looking for an escape from cities and factories. Breakfast at the hotel It was very delicious the hotel owners are very nice and helpful I recommend you visit the pub port of William Inn which is 14 minutes away by car from the hotel and has a wonderful view of the beach and sunset. The hotel is near the tintangle castle and so it is in a good position to visit some nice places.

Lovely Cornish hotel with super friendly owner, roger. Rooms are comfortable and the hotel is situated at beautiful grounds with swimming pool. Breakfast is good, we loved our stay here. I absolutely recommend to stay here at the lanteglos country house.

Very comfortable accommodation. Good for a couple and even suitable for groups. Ground are pretty and hotel is buitiful. A pool, games room and much more is on offer here. Lovley place to stay. Although, some areas are a little old fashioned and could do with an update.

Where to begin, four of us arrived later than expected due to heavy traffic to be welcomed by a beautiful converted 13 bed rectory set in wonderfully calm surroundings. Roger's wife greeted us with a lovely smile and immediately attended to ours needs. Food was our priority but as the restaurant closes at 9pm we feared we would have to hunt down the nearest fish and chip shop. While we moved across to the bar for a much needed drink. We were very warmly greeted by Roger the owner who immediately made us feel relaxed and at home. We were presented with a menu and fabulous choice of food. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we knew that although we had made a last minute booking this was true gem of find. We were so tempted to have a late dip in the stunning pool but instead managed to swap stories of our travels with Roger. We will certainly return and can't recommend this lovely hotel enough and it's staff enough. Thank you again for your warm hospitality Roger and his wife.

Very good food. Chalets comfortable but would benefit from a bit of work. Friendly and efficient staff. Lovely setting.

The hotel is hidden away on a small, quiet back road and surrounded by trees. We loved our room (complete with jacuzzi-style bath) and the garden is beautiful. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful at all times and the service was impeccable.

We went down to Lanteglos this is my second time as my husband has stayed before golfing we had a gorgeous wood cabin totally wonderful our son had a brilliant time in the swimming pool an outstanding place to holiday.

Over priced, unhelpful management, would not recommend this hotel at all they even failed to suggest the golf club some 1000 yards down the same road for a place to eat with the comment that it was not good to recommend as it was a conflict in interest!

Nice and peaceful. Just a little bit hardto find.

Nice peacefull place to stay, rooms nice and clean, service very good Also have use of the hotel swimming pool, tennis and squash courts.
