Hotel is amazing cookies on arrival rooms lovely and the restaurant is out of this world.

Waited nearly an hour for our room after being told it was ready three times.

Clean and welcoming — greeted by friendly helpful staff.

In the context of the health crisis, I was forced to cancel my reservation.
Being a French traveler and being subject to isolation, there was no point in coming to stay locked in a hotel.
So I asked for the cancellation without charge (more than 15 days before our arrival).
For the reason that I have just mentioned but also and above all that my reservation dates from before the confinement. So I couldn't predict that there would be such a crisis. The establishment not only refused to cancel my reservation and refund me, but in addition, it asked me for cancellation fees.
There is clearly an absence of good sense and it is called theft. So clearly I would never set foot in your country again. You are right to take your Brexit. Besides, virus should even quarantine yourself ad vitam eternam.
Especially since I am an individual … I am not rich if I was still … It was part of my vacation budget. I am not responsible for this crisis and I am doubly punished. Not only can I not leave for fear of getting stuck in your hotel, but I am also losing my money.
Without forgetting the plane tickets which are not refunded! Really this is dishonest of you. I really don't understand your way of doing things.

Nice rooms. Given the current Covid 19 situation we had a great stay.

Good venue. On site parking. Nice breakfast. Oh, and don't forget the warm cookie on arrival.

Never had a bad stay and that’s generally every 6wks approximately. Always helpful, only fault not a good variation if any alcohol free (bottled/draugh) beer. We found on this visit an issue and be great if implicated for future stays.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago and can’t fault the place. Staff are young energetic and very caring. In Novotel this weekend and not a patch on doubletree.
Lovely food in doubletree especially the steaks, cooked to perfection and the room was spotless every day I returned.

Loved staying here great view from the room, hop on hop off bus tour outside the hotel. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice which we thoroughly enjoyed the staff were all hard working and I very much appreciated Emma who was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding my dietary requirements as a vegan. Highly recommended would stay here again.

Convenient for train station. Nice bar and restaurant areas. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Had a lovely meal here, food was lovely, atmosphere great and the staff couldn't do enough. Reasonably price wholly recommended.

Beautiful gardens. Breakfast best ever. Staff super friendly. Large room very quiet all on 1 level. Easy to get to cribbs causeway for shopping. Definitely stay again.

Good amenities in a lovely building. We had great views out of our room windows. Bed was comfy, food was great. A lovely place to relax and we would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Quite good for a large hotel. Service is a bit impersonal but I think think this is standard for a hotel of this size. I was at a conference and the conference rooms, restaurant and lobby areas were clean and well presented.

Beautifully presented hotel, friendly & helpful staff, good value on a Sunday night. However it's an older building so the rooms seem a little noisier (less well insulated) than you'd get in a modern building. There is parking available but it's £15 for one night.

This was our first time staying here and we were really impressed. We stayed in a standard double room which was a great size and very well presented. We couldn't hear anyone else whilst staying in the room and never had to queue to use the lifts. We had breakfast at the hotel on our second morning which offered a lovely buffet style selection of hot and cold food served in a beautiful restaurant. All of the staff were really helpful and we'll use the same hotel next time we visit Bristol.

Only popped in to accompany my son to a meeting and wait to drive him home. Really nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. I had a coffee which was very good and priced about right for similar venues. Eager to help and offer a service and I wasn't even booked in. Good job, guys.

Excellent service. They went out of their way to help me print a document for me. From the bar staff to the receptionist, I absolutely felt taken cared of. The room was beautiful too. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Stayed for my wife’s birthday on the way to Bristol, hotel was fine apart from room key issues! but have since received a parking fine for staying in their ‘smart’ car park, even though we gave the registration and paid for parking. Phoned the hotel to help resolve, disgusting attitude of staff refused to help me resolve the issue and now I’ve got to spend my time phoning various company’s (the car was rented) to solve their clerical error. Will never use this hotel again.

Fantastic staff excellent food and everything I needed in my great room. Will go again. Highly recommend. Nice and near the station too.

Was not very happy with the standard of the rooms. My husband paid extra for a upgrade which in my opinion was definitely not worth it. The room over looked a busy road and even at night could hear ROAD noise from all the traffic even when the window was shut. The hotel hotel need up dating and double glazed windows to cut out traffic noise. Location of the hotel was good. But that is all. Being a Hilton hotel I expected a lot more.

Nice hotel and close to the Center.

Been there last week for Lawgiver which is a convention for all things Judge Dredd: takes place in hotel as well. Room was really nice and clean with super comfy bed, kettle etc; no bottled water thou and I drink lot of water, so that would be my small complain. Service was excellent, even lots of us have been drunk night before and after main event, guys from hotel were helpful and approachable and had to listen our stupid gibberish up to 4AM Friday night. Maybe a little bit too expensive for my taste but I was on budget. Anyway, will go back there next year. Thanks!

Really enjoyed staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The room is nice, albeit smaller than other hotels. Bed was very comfortable and included extras such as coffee machine and bottled water are appreciated. Breakfast was good and the fitness centre is nice. Having a pool would be a great addition to the hotel.

Stayed here twice now, excellent experience both times. Staff are polite, courteous and professional, the rooms and service top notch. Location is five minutes from the train station and perfect for enjoying Bristol's many pubs, bars and restaurants.

Does exactly what it needed to do as a mid budget over nighter. Rooms were very well appointed. Very clean with good showers. Nice touch with the separate reading lights by the bedside too. Didn't use the bar etc but they like they would do a job too.

Good location just five minute walk from the main bars and restaurants. Good standard of hotel, exactly what you would expect from a DoubleTree. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. Parking is available for £15 per night. Doesn't have a pool. Not the type of hotel you'd go to for a relaxing stay but perfect for a one night stay or for business travel.

Average branch of Hilton. Recently renovated and rooms are better than previously. However extortionate prices for parking at £15 per night. Absolutely disgusting price. Will not stay here unless absolutely necessary.

A very nice stay at a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were well kept. On arrival we were given a cookie each which was really nice. It was still warm and had a liquid centre. The bathroom was a little small as the door opened onto the shower matt. The location is close to Bristol temple mead's station but not a lot else to be honest. A short can ride would be the best way to get it the city centre.

Good location if you're travelling by train. Just 5 minutes away from Temple Meads, about 15 minutes walk to Cabot Circus, and next to Redcliffe Church. Good breakfast though selection is limited, polite staff both in reception and restaurant. Not so Central but still a good option. It could have been a better stay if we're given a room on a higher floor with a view of the church (which was offered when I called the hotel however upon check in room reserved was a room in the first floor which could be a bit noisy at night — ambulance sounds throughout the night plus add the noise from the corridor. However a good, neat hotel with a friendly atmosphere.

Lovely hotel friendly helpful staff twin room was well equipped apart from no tea making facilities only coffee provided car parking very good too.

Receptionist busy, but friendly. Free parking, just register car details using touchpad on reception desk. Training / conference room was clean, nicely decorated and the chairs were comfortable. Excellent coffee machines and lunches were tasty and plentiful.

Great staff, friendly and very helpful. Fast reliable Wi-Fi. Comfortable rooms with easy temperature control. Parking little expensive at £15 overnight rate.

We stayed at the Doubletree hotel over the weekend. The staff were welcoming and we managed to check in quickly. The room was a little smaller than other hotel chains we have stayed in, but very well decorated and the space used well. The bed was comfortable although I would have liked a choice of pillows. The bathroom was small but clean and the shower was amazing! The room next to us were very noisy so I don't think soundproofing is very good, but staff did come and tell them to keep the noise down on a couple of occasions. The total has a nice bar, which doesn't serve a huge selection of drinks, but weren't too badly priced for a hotel. We had a sandwich which was nice, but probably not worth £9.50. Breakfast is served in the kiln restaurant which was certainly a lovely area to eat in. The food was hot and tasty and there was the usual selection that you would expect.

I love Hilton hotels and take my mother to a different Christmas market every year. Unfortunately in their wisdom this Hilton hotel has decided to book Christmas functions every night which results in loud music blasting through the hotel until the early hours. We were moved from the first floor to the top floor but to be honest it makes no difference (I'm writing this review at 1am as in wide awake! ) Disappointing and will be checking out early and not returning. It seems they are accommodating Christmas parties to the detriment of other hotel guests. Staff are lovely but unfortunately we won't be returning or recommending.

Great home with a huge welcome cookies. On the other hand not at the top the housekeeping of the room during the week.

Large modern rooms, great breakfast, pleasant staff. Lots of parking space. Not the easiest to access due to road design but not much the hotel can do about that.

Lovely hotel. Room was fab. Breakfast very good. Within walking distance to the harbour and not far from the shops in Cabot circus.

Average. Rooms were ok but we were given a disabled bathroom with a tiny wet room and a shower seat. No idea why. Be warned though… parking is a joke! You're lucky if you find a space, and even if you do they're tiny! Anythibg bigger than a first and you'd have to get all passengers out before driving into the spot. They also charge £15 a night which is horrendous given the above. Only real benefit is the location.

I drop off my baggage and receptionist take half hour to finish check in. Then I receive parking ticket because I only can stay 20 mins free. However there is no sign in the car park and receptionist slow to check in is their fault. Be careful!

Attended an event that was held at the venue. Very friendly staff, very clean and reasonable prices at the bar. However no food available to buy from the hotel, as far as I was aware, except for crisps. Just to be aware, car parking spaces were a little tight, so awkward for big cars. But all in all a very nice place.

The receptionist wasn't very helpful and no cold water in room only hot. Ordered room service and the pizza wasn't even cooked. I won't be coming back.

Great hotel in the perfect location halfway between Temple Meads station and town centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely furnished and the beds are excellent. Only negative is that the walls are very thin so just hope that your neighbours behave.

Attended a work function at the hotel, ample parking for myself plus 30+ collegues. Conference room was very tidy and well setup with decent coffee and a fantastic lunchtime buffet. The staff were pleasent and friendly.

Nice hotel, reasonably well maintained. Staff were very helpful and parking was super easy. The room was a little on the tired side, it had clearly been a long time since it had seen a paint brush. The 'fresh' flowers in the room were dead when we arrived and notepads etc had not been replaced from the previous guests. Bed was very comfortable and the hotel very quiet at night. A good stay for one night but no more.

Highly recommend. Parked around the corner 2 minutes walk at nearby ncp car park. £4 from 6pm til 9am. Checked in prior to arrival as am a hilton member which is free. Also allowed us to choice the room number we wanted to stay in. The hotel is clean, tidy amd the staff were very friendly. Warm cookies on arrival. We stayed in a king deluxe room on 5th floor and had great views. As we arrived late and only staying one night we had room service which the food was great. … The Wi-Fi was really good and as a member you get this free along with a bottle of water each. However unlimited water available by tap if not a member. The beds were really comfy and room was big and sofa was comfy. Would definitely stay again. We stayed in room 512

Fantastic hotel. Clean, comfortable room. Bed is just perfect. Bathroom huge with separate shower cabin… Friendly and helpful staff. Bar area nice and relaxed atmosphere… great Mojito…! Good choice for breakfast, food are hot and fresh. Big plus is a coffee machine with wide selection of coffees. Absolutely good experience. Highly recommend. Good hotel ideally located in the city centre with reasonably priced rooms. As expected the rooms are relatively small but with nice modern finishing. The gym is quite small with just two running machines but I found at least one free, 3 out of 3 times, so did not become an issue. I was pleased with my stay and will be booking the hotel again when I visit Bristol later in the year.

The service was very friendly, with employees going out of their way to make sure our stay was as good as could be. The location couldn't be better, right next to the harbour side, Temple Meads train station and links to the city centre. There was lots to choose from at breakfast and all waiters and cooks were extremely nice. The rooms were spacious, clean, the beds were comfy and we will definitely be visiting the DoubleTree Hilton hotel again!

Fantastic location, within walking distance to Temple Meads train stations and Harbourside. The room was spacious with all the appliances we could need and was well decorated. The staff were very kind and accommodating and would go out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay.

What a beautiful and amazing venue. We had a training conference here and the staff were so attentive as well as really friendly. Highly recommend.

Is there something about Doubletrees that make them attempt to be as bland as possible? A perfectly nice hotel, with everything you need, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to stay. The building is massively ugly, but at least you don't have to see it from inside. Delicious cookies on arrival, though!

I only stayed briefly however the hotel is centrally located and good for guests who wish to stay within walking distance of the town centre. Traffic in the area is bad around rush hour.

Clean, tidy and comfortable however charging £100 per room as a security deposit with no notice prior to arrival caused unnecessary embarrassment and should have been dealt with better by staff. A group booking of 14 should have been told of this when making the booking. Not a happy customer.

As a wheelchair user finding a hotel with suitable facilities is always difficult. But this hotel was 5 star for me. The access ramp into the building is easy. The lifts are small and did accommodate my spinal injury wheelchair. For wheelchairs with extended foot rests you would need to back into the lift while turning sideways. I don't think that the lift will accommodate and electric wheelchair. Areas of the hotel are accessible and have lift access (i did not try the fitness center) the rooms are spacious and the bathroom was purfect. The hotel has two options 1 a shower over the bath and 2 a level access shower. So make your needs known. I was really happy with our stay and ALL the staff were happy to assist. I give this one a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for the disabled traveler.

Stayed in this DoubleTree over a stag weekend in Bristol. Superb hotel, comfortable and conveniently located for access to the city centre. Really pleased to recommend this place, the breakfast is awesome, and the facilities are really top notch, a credit to the DoubleTree brand and name.

Everything u would expect from a Doubletree, modern interior, breakfast in a brilliant surrounding with all you could wish for. Staff polite, happy, helpful. Short walk into central areas.

I had a weekly stay at this contemporary city centre hotel. It has been recently refurbished and everything looked new. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a large clean bathroom. Breakfast was great, and staff was pretty helpful, the only downfall was that they didn't have an espresso machine. Overall a great stay, will visit again.
