We received a very warm welcome from Ray, the owner. Stayed here with my elderly parents, my daughter and her baby. Ray was very thoughtful in arranging the best rooms for us all. Very spacious. Would definitely recommend.

Had a very comfortable stay at Chester House. The room was bright & clean, nice bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Enjoyable walk into town. Would stay there again.

I only stayed one night with a late arrival but was met and taken to my room. The room was warm and size was OK but had all the essentials you need. A nice touch was a few snacks, handy for late arrivals like myself.

I stayed here for 3 days in February. I am can categorically say this is one of the best B&Bs I have had the pleasure at staying at. I was late to check in after a long journey, they were more than accepting of this. I am a junior Doctor on rotation and travel lots I can say this is one the best if not the best B&Bs have stayed in. The owner was welcoming and the staff we polite and friendy the breakfast was out of this world! I will definitly be staying again. Thank you for a plesant stay. Emily.

Very comfortable room and good breakfasts. The guest house location was perfect for many eating places close by. Ray was very helpful to pointout shortcuts to the Chester zoo.

Nice guest house with great service. It's the little things that made this guest house such a pleasure to stay in; the complimentary hot drinks (refilled each day) in the room, free Wi-Fi, nice selection of breakfasts included in the price, Etc. I visited on my Birthday Weekend and the owner gave me a bottle of prosecco and box of chocolates upon my arrival, which was very nice. Would happily stay there again.

Clean, well furnished rooms with lots of complimentary snacks, tea, hot chocolate. Informative friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at this very nice B&B. We had some minor issues, such as the internet not working other than in a small area of the lower floor. But we checked in fairly late so I'm sure if we had checked in sooner and they were still there they would have taken care of any issues that we had.

For a 5 day stay in Chester, this place was just what we needed! Not too pricey, but felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel! Rooms was a decent size for a standard double. The heritage of the building was matched well with the contemporary styling of the rooms. Short walk to everything in Chester, including tourist attractions, shopping and the Historic City Wall. Reception staff were really knowledgeable and willing to help with anything you need! I would stay here again without a doubt and will definitely be recommending it. This is not a case of it being "good for the money" — it was just good full stop! Even if I'd paid double for my room, I would still be just as pleased. Will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Will definitely be back in the future.

Great location for Birmingham and the surrounding area. Friendly owners and a great cooked breakfast.
