Quiet room, good parking, close enough to the city centre to walk, good breakfast, good value for money. Have stayed before, will do so again.

Excelent rooms good breakfast friendly staff close to town centre and all the history amazing.

What a wonderful hotel. You tend to find at least one thing that hotels could improve on but not this one. Ten out of ten from me.

Lovely hotel very clean and friendly staff. Only one complaint we were in a attic room which I kept bagging my head as bed to close to ceiling. Shower the same you had to climb over small bath to get in it. But had this room because booked late. Apart from these to problems I would recommend this hotel breakfast yummy staff helpful and attentive. Had a lovely birthday weekend would stay again.

Just returned from yet another short break in Chester. We once again stayed at this amazing hotel. The staff were really helpful and very friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The location of this hotel is within easy access to most historic settings and facilities. Couldn't have wished for a better break, the breakfasts were one of the best we have ever eaten. See you again next year. Thanks again.

Thank you for a lovely stay, our room was very clean with a power shower, breakfast was more than we needed with a wonderful choice on the menu (more than many hotels) and was included in the price, along with the parking, the staff were very helpful and we would thoroughly recommend it for a stay in Chester. Lovely little hotel with easy access to both the city centre and zoo. Tastefully decorated, great breakfast with plenty of choice, friendly staff. Bizarrely, our friends' room was twice the size of ours and on a different floor, despite the fact that I had made the booking and asked for rooms close to each other. Slightly bemusing too that our friends were given twice as many packs of biscuits and toiletries than us despite us all paying the same price. This small niggle apart though, we would certainly stay again if we went back to Chester.

Spent a night there 14th August breakfast very good also good selection of cereal fruit etc owner very friendly as were his staff room I had was good size comfy bed tea making facilities and it was spotless I’d come and stay here again and I’d recommend it it’s also a 10-15 minute walk into chester city lots to do be it bars restaurants.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was of a high standard of cleanliness and beds very comfortable. Breakfast menu had a good range of selection and the cooked breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Chester. I would stay here again. Thank you all for a pleasant stay.

Have stayed here twice now staff lovely and cant do enough the breakfast was the best I have ever had in the uk and abroad, I stayed in chalet and was great for our two night stay clean but a bit tired. But having said that would I stay again YES. well done to all staff and chef.

Chester is a beautiful city, and we had a nice stay in the small hotel, that is more akin to a "B&B. " Staff was pleasant and helpful, full English breakfast was included. Pleasant neighborhood, walking distance to the train station and to City Center (about a mile into City Center). Shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend this establishment.

I'm sure if you stayed in the main house, the rooms would be great but we had a "chalet" at the back of the house, which wasn't very roomy (perhaps good for a single bed/traveller) and the wardrobe had a big water tank in it, so not much room to hang your clothes, (having said that, the shower was Great, although very noisy) The breakfast was lovely and the staff really friendly. The bar area and lounge was good. I would say, if booking, check where your room is going to be.

Our room was nice and spacious, staff were brilliant, even to the point of going out and getting me a helium balloon for Sarah's birthday and putting it at breakfast table, she even got a card off them left in our room. Breakfast was good choice, served by friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, a nice lounge/bar to sit and relax in on a night if needed. An all round lovely experience. I've already booked to go back. Thank you to Court Hotel staff xx.

Very clean tidy room. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good. Nice walk into Chester city centre takes about 20 minutes or if you prefer you can catch a bus just out side the hotel.

Good value hotel quite a walk into chester.

Ashley at reception is a credit to the hotel. I made a mistake on arrival her attention put us at ease rectifying my error. The service at breakfast was first class. Room and service excellent. Thank you all.

Good place to stay would stay there again the bed is a bit hard nice staff and a good breakfast.

Our room was beautiful & warm when we got there and a bottle of prosecco was waiting for us as requested in the booking email. Breakfast was made to order and it was very hot, but we didn’t feel rushed at any point. The staff were happy to make adaptations to 1 of our breakfasts and they then brought out extras.
Stafff were very friendly and accommodating.
If we get the chance again we would definitely return to this charming hotel. X.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chester court. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The place is very traditional and in keep with the town. It's in a good location. The breakfast is also outstanding. Very recommendable.

The rooms were simple but nice and clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely.

A very well appointed small hotel. The staff are kind & helpful especially early morning. Breakfast is excellent. BUT our rooms were not up to standard. As a Mum who wanted to bring her grown up daughters away for a treat, they were'nt good enough. My bathroom had a weird plug which would n't seal. My eldest daughter's shower ran either freezing or red hot. My Youngest daughter's bed was so uncomfortable she ended in tears with no sleep. The pillows were old & clearly over washed till lumpy. Downstairs looked beautiful — mirrors, settles, very beautiful, but nowhere cosy to relax. Not a single squidgy chair or comfy corner. On a cold winter's evening nowhere to settle chat & have a nightcap. Great, well stocked bar, but very uncomfortable. This echoes the whole hotel. Looks lovely. Very uncomfortable. Not relaxing.

The best hotel in Chester. Great breakfast and great staff. My friend and I have been coming here for the last 5 years at Xmas time.

I have used Chester Court whilst on business for many years. Service always exemplary, breakfast superb and Nathan and his team maintain a friendly can do attitude. Larger hotels take note!

Well situated within walking distance to main shopping area. Good breakfast, tidy rooms.

Lovely guest house. Nice rooms. Lovely staff and tasty breakfast.

Wonderful staff, wonderful location, good rooms and pretty place, but that is where the good stuff ends. Breakfast is lacking (only nutella or marmalade available if you want anything on your bread), only bread available is different kinds of toast and the toast is more often than not not even TOASTED but slighty warmed. The wi fi ranges from slow to nonexistent, and changes between the two randomly. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent place, but I would not stay for more than a day or two.

Situated fairly close to town centre the hotel provided a good Base from which to explore. There is plenty of parking at the hotel. The hotel rooms though a little dated were of a good size and well decorated. The bathroom was well equiped and there were plenty of clean towels. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was well cooked and plentiful.

Lovely clean rooms & staff very welcoming. Location about 20 mins from Chester city centre. Breakfast good. Only issue was the shower think a new one is needed in the room I was in.

Very nice hotel, glad we found it. Price was reasonable and the location good. We stayed in the upper courtyard in room 11. If I was forced to try to find something bad to say, the only thing I can think of is that there was an extractor fan in the wall right next to our room and I could hear it running all night. Also, it had rained heavily and for some odd reason, the path slopes away from the drains (ie the drains are at the top of the slope, not the bottom) so it flooded. So, the positives… good sized room, HUGE bed, very nice bathroom. Nice little touches like chocolates and biscuits provided. Breakfast… well what can I say? Would have been nice if they had vegetarian sausages, but the poached eggs were the best I have ever tasted… and I dont think Ive ever seen yolks quite that orange! Free range and extremely fresh! The staff were friendly and helpful. So overall, I very highly recommend this hotel.
