Reviews of Manor House Hotel & Spa, Alsager 4*
We stayed overnight as we had an appointment at Autism Dogs Charity nearby in Congleton the next day. Our stay was fantastic! The room was a standard king, but it had plenty of room and was tastefully furnished. I'd asked for a quiet room as I'm autistic and sound-sensitive, and I'm glad I did as there was a large wedding taking place with a disco until late. We didn't hear a thing though the though the room was single-glazed as it was away from the disco. Great! We made use of the pool which was so nice and quiet. The outside spa looked lovely & I'd definitely book in for a spa stay if I lived closer. We ordered room service for our evening meal courtesy of The Stables restaurant. The food was superb — my wife had the steak and I had the whipped feta salad with hake (best salad I've had! ) and both were cooked to perfection and worth the money. The breakfast was served in the upstairs bar and was delicious too. I had the eggs Benedict and my wife had the full English, and again both were perfect as were the pastries. We've had to make several trips to the Autism Dogs Charity recently as I'm due to have an Autism Assistance Dog from there soon. Having stayed in several hotels in the area now, I'd definitely say that The Manor House is by far the best. I'd 100% recommend it and it'll be our choice in which to stay next time. I just need to check that registered Assistance Dogs are allowed when the time comes.
We were extremely lucky to have our wedding day hosted by Michelle & The Manor House Hotel yesterday and what a day it was! From start to finish everything ran smoothly and was stress free for us. All our guests commented on how lovely the venue was for the wedding and also how amazing the food was! There in house DJ Mike was also fantastic and had everyone up on the dance floor from the get go! We had such an amazing wedding day so we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Mr & Mrs Bailey.

More expensive than Carden Park but tiny, sewage smelling steam rooms, passive aggressive staff, rushed treatments, gluey sauna that sticks to your hair if you lean back, lots of leaving the room during your treatment wasting time, no disability access for treatments in toilets, was told there would be a spa tour and then another member just sort of wavered her hand around and left after we asked🤣 Wouldn’t normally take this to Facebook but gave feedback and received very weird emails back offering a gesture of goodwill. Then being told the spa day had over doubled in price and I’d have to pay the same as what I had paid. Said it seemed like a scam and the lady freaked out at me over emails 🥲 id barely said anything. All round strange place! And so expensive for what it is.
