Stayed over while away on business. Great hotel, spacious room and friendly welcome. Great location with a nice pub and shops a very short walk away. Very easy access to M6/A500/A50. Good breakfast, too. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic little find! It's just off the motorway which was great. Stopped here driving from Glasgow to Newquay. The service is fantastic, ok could be a bit more modern decoration wise but the place is great. The dogs were happy which is also a big thing but they settled well. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic can't fault it. Definitely stay again!

It's a B&B not a hotel, lovely breakfast but no evening meal. Rooms are a bit small and dated but no real faults.

Lovely friendly place. Nice homely feel and always get a nice welcome. Full English breakfast very tasty. Dog friendly hotel as well. This was my second time staying and would definitely go back again.

It seems to be a father and daughter who run the place. Pleasant enough. If you want food apart from breakfast, they don't do it. But if you go to the Plough up the road it has a carvery besides other pub fare. The double bed we had had springs that were very uncomfortable. The duvet was very thick and heavy and the heating the room was too high. On the whole it's cheap so you get what you pay for.

Have stayed there a week and we have been very well looked after breakfast ample and very good the owners really helpful and friendly service and standards are good Very good value for money, would like to say a big thank you from francesca and Kate for making us so welcome.

Even the stay was one night but people was wonderful.

Great rooms. Very 1920s in a good way. Sadly the shower didn't work. Poor breakfast choice and god awful local radio piped through the dining hall first thing every morning. Staff were helpful. Try it!

Have stayed here several times and have a good experience every time. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and en-suite shower / toilet facilities. Excellent breakfasts. Very good value for money. Would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Cheap and cheerful dog friendly budget hotel.

What a lovely place to stay, very friendly owners and just as friendly clientele. Travelling with three young children is a trauma at best but I must say The Holly Trees brought out the best in them they were well behaved I hope and that in part is due to the surroundings and warm welcome we received throughout our stay. Lets not forget the lovely cooked breakfast on offer, we all loved those too. Thankyou very much The "Blanchards".

Nice quite and not expensive, close to a lot of restaurant and others market. Room little bit small but confortable.
