We had a lovely few days here recently. Firstly, the staff were lovely. From the lady at the front desk to the dining staff. There were renovations and refurbs going on, however it is the room that counts, not the scaffolding! And that will be gone soon. Our room was on the ground floor and disabled-friendly and it was beautifully decorated and redone. It was at the back so there was no sea view but we just slept there and were out all day. We will definitely be back for more.

Upon arrival and booked because of free parking it's at back of hotel and is free if can find a spot as its on the street. Enter hotel lady on desk very friendly and checked us in. Actual given us a triple room on top floor which sounded good but was bit disappointed and would of preferred the small double we booked as looked better. Lift was out of use and 8 flights of steps was a lot. But beside the dated decor the Bedding and towels was very clean have TV plenty of pillows and extra blanket and heater if needed but was very warm in top room. Couldn't beat hearing the waves before bed so relaxing. Had water everyday in bottles, biscuit and hot drinks and decent loo roll. If was being picky bit of dust in corners and shower was quite loud when on. But compared to prices in area and sea view was good 60 for Fri night and 75 for sat night and to have that breakfast of that quality was worth it. If going forward for hotel I'd say to update the decor. But with it being a quiet place and business mind is the money worth spending out and adding costs on room probs not. Guest house and if I was to return I'd come back.

Clean but a bit dated. Good breakfast and good price. Overlooking the beach and free street parking. Easy walk into town.

Great location but it does not have parking and the building/rooms/furniture are very old (not refurbished). Very friendly and accommodating staff. Bed was comfy but the bathroom /shower wasn't great.

Staff we met were friendly. Twin room was a good size for two people with a single and double. Room was clean and perfectly good with a reasonable price at £60. A nice location too, good for town. Would only say we were on the back of the building so no view and a bit dark and the lift was out of order at the time of visit. Otherwise a solid base for exploring the town.

Stayed in a 4 bed family room. This hotel isn't anything special but it was good value at £100 and is in a good location just off the sea front.

We booked 3 rooms for one night. Rooms need to have a bit of tlc in places. We had a seaview room which was nice but had no wardrobe space but ok for one night. My daughter had a doom that was really warm so needed bettef wi xows so they could open them. My son had a double room which he liked but again very warm and needed more windows that could be opened. Breakfast was really nice. Would have liked more choice eg scrambled or poached. Croissants and crumpets. The hotel is dov friendly which is really vood for us but they are not allowed in the dining area. Think this needs to be considered. People were really nice especially llady in the dining room she made our stay. We will stay again but not for longer than a couple of nights. We.

£90 including breakfast. Hotel is on seafront. Offered and stayed top floor even though Lift doesn't work. Ask to check your offered room for window sourced drafts though.

Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff. The room we stayed in (room 5) was clean, well equipped, plenty of space. This room didn't have a view but that was it's only down side. Hotels are expensive in Aber and this is a better choice than some of the others at this price.

Rooms were alright but a bit small, staff were not particularly friendly. No hotel parking despite claims, which could be problematic for some.

£65 for room, came with breakfast, but no internet, no laundry facilities, very limited hours on downstairs lounge, not accessible, reception closes early, limited hours on breakfast, shower had almost no water pressure and difficult to control temperature. Room was spacious and bed was comfy, tea/coffee in room, hair dryer, nice view with baywindows and armchairs.

This is a terrible Hotel. Bed are not at all comfortable to sleep. Breakfast is not upto the mark at all. Moreover Managers are very rude and not at all friendly. Very Costly also… They do not accept their fault and and shout back on us. This gives me a feeling that the hotel does not run much. I would not at all recommend anyone for this Hotel…

Reasonable but a bit too expensive.

The lift was broken. We wouldn't have booked if we had known. Shocked when told we were on the third floor we were offered another room, one floor up, out the fire exit and down one flight down the fire escape into an outside building which turned out to be a former garage. For breakfast we had to go up the fire escape into the main building and down 2 flights of stairs, the stairs to the basement were very steep and the handrail was dirty and sticky. The breakfast room was small with no windows. Disappointing to have no view of the sea once in the place. There was no alternative offered for vegetarians. There was no 'locally sourced food' as promised just tinned baked beans, tinned tomatoes, hashbrowns and poor quality brown bread from the local supermarket. Our bedside lamp was broken but they didn't replace or repair it.

Sea view. Fresh air. Double bed and your loved one. You don't need anything else.

Staying here from for a day sleep tomorrow back in again ABERYSTWITH. One of the most beautiful places to visit in WALES.
