Pocket friendly. Courteous and helpful staff. Close to the metro line.

We checked-in in the hotel and the room is smelling very bad. I don't know if the hotel has a non-smoking floor cause when we asked reception if there are rooms which are non smoking they say all are smoking. If it is true the hotel is not good for children especially for pregnant people or people with allergies. Good thing they changed the room. For those people who will visit this hotel. Don't visit top desk pool bar if you don't want to be overpriced. We ordered 2 teas and the price is AED70, the tea doesn't even taste good. We spoke with the manager but she doesn't care. written online it is 4star but it is just 2 star for me. 1. All rooms are smoking 2. The TV is old like the big one. 3. Overcharged outlets/bar and they don't even give menu I don't know if mangement is caring.

I didn’t stay at the hotel. But the lobby looks clean. Had some friends stayed. One was very happy with the stay and the other wasn’t at all. As what they said.

Excellent service, big spacious rooms. Buffet breakfast, pool, staff is good.

Great value for money, staff was very cooperative, the rooms were tidy and spacious, and above all it located in the heart of the city can find 24 7 marts and places to eat nearby, metro 2mins walk away and cabs always waiting outside the door. Will surely stay again at GCHD.

Location Very close to Metro, near many shops with low prices. There is a café with low prices and tasty food nearby. There is a tea set in the room. The staff is friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. The breakfast is delicious, varied enough, you can ask for a scrambled or omelette. Near the hotel there is a variation point and a supermarket. Tourists from Tyumen.

We are a couple who is in this hotel for 4 days. In Italy It is probably a three star. On the ground floor there is a night club. Breakfast Rooms with carpet on the floor and I personally do not think they are hygienic, comfortable mattresses but the pillows do come the flick to those who do not have it. The bathroom has the bathtub with the shower and the curtain (dirty of a brown smear). Bathroom 20 years ago.
Every night until three o'clock you hear the music of the night club that seems to be inside; As soon as the music ends, they hear the work of a company that is building a gratacielo. For this reason I asked to change rooms, the result is that at least when the night club closes you can sleep.
The staff is nice and helpful.

The worst hotel, I have ever been in my entire life. DONT GO or REFRET! Mr Arif, night shift Manager is so rude to customer as he charged me for missing mini red wine which I never had it. He said he will call police of AED 55 which is £9 for me was not a big deal but from customer perspective I was mugged off! Such a rude, unprofessional and inhuman manager should be sacked to save the loyal customers like me. Now on I will never stay in the hotel until Mr Arif is in the hotel. His way of talking and conduct was total disgrace! BEWARE!

A very shady place offering services to pleasure seekers primarily. The hotel offers four clubs with women, wine and what not for all kinds of 'customers'. Additionally a massage parlor is located at the top floor right outside the rooms offering all kinds of 'services' The service is quite pathetic with below par level of food, restaurant staff and room services. Don't expect to get any courtesy right from the reception staff to the senior managers/supervisors. The daily breakfast is better left uneaten as the food quality, variety and quantity is pathetic as compared to regular Dubai standards. Not at all a family place and neither a business traveller paradise. Not recommended.

Very poor and uncooperative staff. We have been checked in @2pm despite arriving @1215pm and had to wait 45 min in lobby. Housekeeping also hesitated to provide extra pillows. The issued tissue papers were limited to 1 only. The complimentary water was informed to us that its free on first day only. Worst the fridge does not work and not cooling at all! To my surprise is that when a toilet is flushed above our room you can here water dripping!?!?

Clean, fresh, quite environment. The best hotel in Town. Its located 100meters to the Metro Train Station. Everything was immaculate.

Very convenient location for visiting all attractions, near Metro 2 mins walk, lots of shops and not expensive restaurants with delicious food of different cuisines, Indian Arabian Chinese, lots of fast, supermarkets near and Shopingmoly, Very comfortable Rooms.

Great value for money. Nice rooms. Really good facilities. Very friendly staff. Good location with taxis waiting outside all day. Would stay here again.

The hotel clean and quiet also close metro station al rigga there are many shopping places around the hotel you can go al ghurair centre and buy food and drinks Carrefour thanks bellboy samuel and reception team.

Old hotel and not the best place to live in. Not worth the 4* they have. The low tarrifs are due to there low occupancy. There is a AED20/ — fee to use the valet parking even when you are going to stay at the property. Why, never got the answer! Staff not trained. All in a lathargic and casual mood.

This hotel used to be one of my favorite hotels in Dubai. On my recent stay there I noticed some things were changed. For example the attitude of the receptionist was terrible upon arrival at this hotel. Rude, unfriendly, unhelpful lacking public relations skills to a point that I decided to look for another hotel on the first day of my arrival at this place. So the first day there was also my last day there. I managed to find another hotel with friendly staff much nicer ambiance and skilled receptionists to deal with. So I will never stay at grand central hotel in Dubai again and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Dubai is a fun city to visit just be careful which hotel you choose to stay without having to deal with rude and unhelpful poor attitude hotel staff.

To be honest the hotel is beautiful with amble amount of light and vegetation on the inside and the staff cant be any nicer they are great! The only down fall to it is just the internet it keeps on crashing and going off for 30-45 minutes in different times of the day, add to that, its not like other hotels on as long as you have your Wi-Fi on. In grand central you have to login ever couple days using subscription cards provided by the staff, so its a hassle, but other than that I would actually recommend this hotel as to its cheap price compared to surrounding hotels.

I booked online, but requests were noted. I was given a room in which smoking is allowed. I requested a change, but was given a similar smoking allowed room. Not honest.

No free parking or Wi-Fi, Uncomfortable beds.

Disgusting, old, dirty, noisy hotel. Don't even think of it.

Very good hotel and room except there was no cold water at all so if you were hot because of the Dubai weather and wanted to take a cold shower you could just lay down on the floor with the A/C on to cool down instead of taking a cold shower.

Not informed about the 3… yes 3 clubs they have in there. No sleep from the thumping until 3am and not great when it's a work trip and need to be up and also for a morning flight out. Stayed here once and never again. Other visits have stayed in other hotels and told other work collegues to do the same.

Economic 4 star hotel, the front desk staff are mostly friendly.

Yeah this is a Good hotel. You can find most kind of insects. You can find the worst and olden kind of Internet Connection. You can find oldest behavior from hotel staffs. In my opinion, record video or voice from your conversation with this hotel staffs. Because this is possible they reject any coordinated program. and cut off your lunches. Yeah, This is a Luxury Hotel.

The Internet was not very good but the staff upgraded our room after a communication error in their side which we liked of course.

Internet access needs to be improved. Nice breakfast. Workers are very friendly and helpful.

Or we need to know them to learn Russian or English, and generally a good hotel, and most importantly with alcoholic bar.

The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. It had an 3 cm sag in the middle. Otherwise, the room and hotel amenities were good.
