Kahana Falls is a great resort! The location is wonderful, especially if you’re hoping to stay in West Maui and avoid the crowds and the steep prices of Kaanapali and Kapalua. I stayed in a ‘Hotel Room’ size unit, though. It was smaller than I expected. If you hope to have room to cook, walk around, and maybe even enjoy a view on a balcony, I’d recommend getting a larger unit.

Lovely place that has been upgraded since our last stay here several years ago. Located near some Of Maui's best beaches. Easy check in no wait and very pleasant reception. They have a concierge on location which is very useful to get knowledge of the area and what Maui has to offer. A small shopping center right next door with a popular bar & restaurant and small Market for essentials, and a wonderful sushi restaurant called Miso Fat. (Highly recommended! ) The owner actually goes fishing for freshest local fish! Resort was quiet and has everything you could need. Sounds of waterfalls is so relaxing!

Nice resort close to the ocean and many quality food locations. I highly recommend Kahana Falls for people with families or just anyone.

Our stay at Kahana Falls was short. Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Very close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay, our only complaint was that they do their house keeping too early. The pool was nice and the room was clean. Staff was friendly, I would definitely recommend this location.

Hotel not recommended!
Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations according to the advertised pictures and equipment.
The rooms are felt as small as a storage room and through the only window no daylight comes through due to the concrete in front of it (let alone that you can open it, as it is right by the aisle and people are constantly walking past) for the price really inappropriate. Based on demand, the wrong pictures and another room, we should then pay an additional $490in for changing an equivalent room, a cheekiness.
In addition, the pool was not clean and stank heavily for chlorine.
The "high speed" Wi-Fi also worked only partially so that several attempts a day were necessary to check in for our flights.
To get a coffee or tea you had to leave the complex first and walk 10 minutes … already sad for a 3 star hotel.
At all inquiries we were repeatedly referred to a manager who could not be found, m E a scam to unrake the guests.
The gym and free parking and location, on the other hand, were appealing.
For us, this was definitely the first and last time.

Older place clean. Murphy bed is also the couch. Bed was not comfortable. Shower is for short people. Nice employees. Pool not heated and the only spa was broke the whole week we were here. Had a nice time spent it away from room. Beach shack bar best hang out.

Great place, 2 attached rooms, both with kitchens and 2 restrooms, if you need assistance, they were right on it within minutes! Great location, 1 minute to the beach, 5 minute drive to Lahaina! Though it is not a fancy 5 star hotel, it is a 5 star comfy clean roomy place to stay with everything you will need! Loved it and would stay here again!

This is an older style Hawaiian resort with hotel rooms that have small windows above the bed looking out on the corridor. Their 1 bedroom units were nicer, with windows that looked out on other buildings. Rooms had been renovated fairly recently. They have a public room that feels like a 3-star motel and their shuffle board is L-shaped because there isn't enough room for it to be straight. The staff were very friendly. The pool is small but it's one of the nicest places at the resort. So in short, it is a decent low budget place if you want to cut corners.

Nice location across the street from the beach. Room was clean but badly in need of an update. Quiet, beautiful pool with a waterfall, hot tub, bbq. We had a 2 bedroom ocean view.

5 for the affordability given the amentites. There are much nicer places but you will pay more. I recommend a 1 or 2 bedroom so you have a living room, kitchen and balcony. If you just want a place to sleep and are on the go touring the island then the hotel will work. They are remodelling the interiors. Last step is larger TV over the next few years. There is beach access across the street to the left. Pool, washer and dryer in the units. They also have AC.

Centrally located in quiet Kahana. Easy walk to S turns and Kahana Beach. Nice pool. Very comfortable beds. Across the street from the ocean, so many units don't have ocean view.

I read reviews it was dated, and it is… But we'll maintained and everything works. Staff is GREAT, and housekeeping goes that extra lil bit. I'd definitely come back. Thank you.

Great location on the west coast of Maui. Warm & helpful staff. Unique tropical pool setting. View of the ocean from our balcony@ Aloha tower. Updates being made with furniture. Fully equipped kitchen, with studio.

Beautiful resort condo. Common areas and pool and water falls are very beautiful. Even a fish pond which was very relaxing to watch. We stayed in 307A. Which was a large one bedroom. Very clean, well maintained, and we'll appointed. Furnished and decorated very nice it felt like home. The balcony was right above the waterfall feature which made for great sleeping with the soundtrack of the water and the fresh breeze through the open window. The queen bed was very luxurious and it was hard to leave in the morning. I have been booking with RCI for 10years and this is the best resort that we have found this far. The staff were great check in was easy. I will definitely rebook. There is so much to see and do in this area. I would recommend this resort to anyone booking a 1 bedroom or larger. 5 star's all around. Home away from home.

Excellent facilities in an outstanding location. Beach across the street and Lahaina town just 10 minutes away. Awesome sunsets. The island of Lanai is just off the coast. Beautiful pools and a 24 hour hot tub which has a rock waterfall. Even in the rain it is an awesome place. The staff are super friendly and the absolute best. So glad we were able to stay at Kahana Falls.

Excellent place to stay. Resort staff extremely nice and helpful. Outstanding pools, spas and landscaping. You feel like you are in a tropical paradise as you basque in the hot tubs. Go find the 24 hour hot tub and experience the water fall into the tub. Also there's a very unique shuffle board setup at a 90 degree offset. It's awesome and combines pool table skills into the shuffle board game.

So far we have stayed here 2 nights room was clean upon arrival, the only issue so far is tiny ants in the kitchen, didn't bother the desk about it just put some peppermint oil on the cabinets and that took care of it. Would recommend this hotel so far will update if we have any problems.

Looking for a typical hawaii location kahana falls hits the spot, opposite beach, right near kapalua west maui airport and bus at the front door for $4 per day. Beautiful tropical gardens, rock swimming pool with water falls, 2 spas one with sand bottom, and a kiki pool, gym, barbecues and plenty of outdoor space and furniture, large lanais, hotel rooms are only good for a few nights. Everything clean and maintained. Friendly helpful staff, always an enjoyable stay.

Great staff! Very helpful and show the Aloha spirit. Rooms are clean and quiet. Pool is great.

Hotel room is a little small, but the staff is great. Very friendly and helpful. Grounds and pool area beautiful and quiet. If you just want to relax and veg this is the place for you.

Just got here yesterday and the layout is just amazing. Rooms have all the essential amenities and a kind of intimacy that feels like home. The pool and lobby area are easily accessible and you can't beat the view from our rooms patio. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. We have 5 days left here! More to come!

Most affordable place we could find in Maui. Not a beachfront hotel, and not much of a "resort", but it does have a nice little pool and hot tub. Beds were very comfortable!

The room is shared with the other by a door, amazing but real.

Quaint place but old through and through… Clean overall… Very small pool, no beach access without going across the street through another resort… No real breakfast… Broken elevator while there… Very nice staff though and they have a small gym with semi old equipment.

Great resort. Have been an owner since it opened and have been coming back nearly every year except the few times I let a few friends use my week. Have been to all of the Hawaiian Islands and Maui is the best. (Maui No Ka Oi)

I loved everything about the place. Sure it might look dated but it's not that bad. Very spacious and felt like a second home.

We stayed at Kahana Falls in February 2016. Amazing. This place was Clean, Quiet and Beautiful. Everyone there was very Pleasant and more then eager to help you. We had the perfect room, on the first floor with a Great Lanai a couple of steps and you were at the Jacuzzi {very secluded} just down below was the Beautiful pool and a nice clean BBQ to grill. I would Highly recommend Kahana, it was quiet and secluded yet still very close to Beach and dining etc. I want to Thank Garret and everyone at Kahana for making our stay in Maui one we will treasure for a lifetime.

This place was excellent. 2 minutes from the beach not far from Lahaina, nice rooms, great pool, hot tub, and other facilities.

This is the place to come and relax. Read a book swim cook your own meal or just a walk away to some great places. So quiet and peaceful.

I'll start with Betty, the concierge, who was an expert and a great person. Her advice made our vacation great and saved us some money. We stayed in the smaller 2 story building on the back. It was nice but a little dated. We liked the privacy and the bbq grill in the back. The resort is smaller than most but that made it feel welcoming. Small parking area so don't rent a large car. Close to the beach and the convenient stuff. We love this place and will be going back.

Was there last year that help was fantastic. Very helpful. We just reserved another room for 2015 December.

I have two stories to tell of our experience at Kahana Falls. I have debated about writing this review and hopefully you will understand why. First, we arrived to find that they have two areas in the facility. The first was a 2 story outdated separate facility with units that were shameful. The appliances were old and rusty, the carpet as smelly as the musky smelling room, furniture was of a different era, looked to be from the 90's. We began to look for options. I talked to the manager who was very polite and apologetic but there were no other rooms available. We spent the night hoping we could find different accommodations the following day. My wife slept looking like she was in a cocoon, wrapped in a sheet so as not to touch the bed and we covered the couch with another provided sheet. She is not a prude but after she saw the cockroaches it was the only comfort she could get. Second part of the story, the manager was able to find an amazing room in the main tower and saved the day. After moving from the hillbilly haven we lavished in a beautiful studio that made our trip a wonderful memory. The staff was absolutely wonderful and made up for the night of horror. I would recommend that before you go, confirm you have a room in the tower portion of the property and you will write an amazing review just like this one. Debbie and I want to thank the staff for making our stay one to remember. At least after the first night, oh that was one we won't forget either.

A nice clean, spacious and comfortable room. Grounds well kept. Close to ocean. Good facility. Excellent housekeeping. We would definitely stay here again. Very easy access to property. Good location for activities and shopping.

Beautiful resort. Smaller than some but more personal. Clean good service. Concierge lady Betty very nice and knowledgeable about things to do.

Just got back from 1 week at Kahana Falls and we had a amazing experience. While I am sure all rooms are not equal, ours was great. We had a studio condo unit. Full kitchen, fold down bed, porch with pool view on the second floor. Obviously this is not a 5 start hotel. However for the price we paid, we really couldn't be any happier. Be sure to ask details about the room you are reserving. I say this because there was a room next to ours which I am pretty sure did not have any outer facing windows. It had windows looking into the stairwell area, but I don't think it had any looking outside, or a porch.

I own 2 weeks at Kahana Falls and it's like a second home to me.
