As a time share owner here for about 23 years, I am dissatisfied with the condition of the rooms. Worn out looking cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms. The bathrooms need an overhaul and deep cleaning! The "painted" tub in one bathroom is in awful condition. Peeling, discolored, gray paint. Come on! I pay maintenance fees here every year. Maintain this place! Let's get to the cleanliness. First view of the bathroom, again, is the bathtub. When grout becomes mildewy, replace it or, clean it! Hair and sand on the floors not belonging to us. In the bedroom, while looking for my husband's phone that he dropped on the floor, I looked under the bed and saw sand. Under the night stand was more sand and a pretzel. We just arrived so, none of that was ours. Lastly, the blankets on the beds are subpar. The ones for the pull out bed are old felt ones washed so many times (I imagine) that they were like sandpaper to the touch. The cushions on the lounges, by the pool, all have mildew. Bringing them in to dry on occasion may help to maintain them. The positive side of our stay; The entire staff is amazing! The cleaning staff is very friendly and accommodating. The maintenance staff respond quickly and are very nice. (Our dishwasher rack lost a wheel — to rust, and was promptly replaced. ) Management allowed us to stay 3 additional days when our flight out was cancelled due to Hurricane Lane. The pool is small but quaint. The hotel is one block from the beach. Clean beach towels are issued as often as you like. Parking is adequate and convenient.
