Great location and place for family and friends to gather. We’ve been coming for years here and will continue until we can’t. Celebrating husbands 60th birthday this week.

We have stayed at Kiahuna since 2012… absolutely perfect. Great place for all ages. Central to lots of shops and restaurants and has a great old school Kauai vibe.

Our time here has been the most enjoyable. We brought our three kids with us on a familymoon as we’re calling it. Best beach experience and overall relaxed atmosphere. — with Brandi Hill.

It’s our happy place. There isn’t a better beach in Kauai. Very family friendly. Been coming for years.

Great setup for a family big and small. Close to the beach and restaurants. Big Save (local grocery store) is very close too.
BBQ Grills on the property are well maintained as well and they have beach chairs and beach towels available free of charge.

Great customer service, took care of issues quickly, prime location, great to have a kitchen. Highly recommend.

Great place to explore Kauai. The grounds are beautiful, staff very friendly, and having an actual “beach” is rare.
Units are individually owned so the furnishings vary, and quality/ comfort is not consistent.

Nice well kept grounds. Nice sandy beachfront that’s not crowded. I later found out it’s the only property with this nice sandy strip in Poipu. Liked the condo we were in with ocean views and deck. Yes, you hear roosters and lots of birds chirping/ think you’ll hear roosters anywhere in Kaui. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very comfortable, many ocean view units available, nice beach, near by amenities. Nice home base for exploring Kauai.

We booked a garden view. We asked for bottom floor because of 2 knee surgeries. Well our garden view was a wall of trees and the front view was the main road. With no a/c we went to sleep with the windows open and the sound of traffic.
As far as not getting the bottom floor we were told they don’t have to honor the requests!
We had a 1/4 mile walk to the beach hut to get a towel for the beach and only with a ticket. Never again!

Awesome location! Amazing small beach area that's part of the property so you can lounge or rent chairs for free! It's on a BEAUTIFUL part of the island with the perfect beach area for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, and surfing! The rooms were a little warm without ac but we got a box fan from the front desk that was nice!

The resort allows all owners to decorate and furnish their condos in any way they wish, which is fine in theory, but not fair to customers who pay the same rate for a run down condo when others are updated and the owner made an investment. The point is make sure you see your condo before you rent. You may be in for a surprise if you don't. Otherwise, the resort is very nice and the grounds are awesome.

Super Resort with everything you need. Our garden view studio was 5min walk from the beach, but quite clean and well equipped. Parking spaces are available and the complex is very nicely prepared. Would book there again.

Love the plantation and grounds. Our second time staying, we will be back. Nice to have Poipu Athletic Club to use as well.

The staff was super friendly here. Overall we had a nice stay, but next time we come back, we won't be staying here. On our bed they used a top sheet tucked in which was very annoying to always fix. There was mold growing on the trim outside of the base boards. The lack of decent/ clean appliances made it difficult to cook our own meals which is a reason we rented a condo. (There was only ONE spatula). Outside there was only one lounge chair. The cleaning services were VERY high! Just a lot of little things that we noticed, but when you're paying this much a night you notice those things.

Location is great cleaning fees seemed very high, but property is nicely maintained and very convenient to areas we wanted to travel on Kauai.

8 days in paradise. The resort was beautiful and quiet. Close enough to the beach and shopping centers that we did really have to leave Poipu. Definitely will be returning to Kiahunna again.

Physically very beautiful, but have a REAL problem with the fact that there is no Air Conditioning. Very difficult to sleep at night. Also wasn't crazy that there was no pool on site, that we had to cross the road to use the pool at the Athletic Club.

Service Super Beach also great accommodation excellent.

This place is beautiful! The condo, grounds, beach area, etc is breathtaking. Everyone we have come in contact here is super helpful and friendly!

We booked a LONG AWAITED trip to the island of Kauai, and this was our hotel choice. Unfortunately our hopes we're crushed with the current and complete natural disaster of flooding do to SEVERE storms and rainfall. The governor issued a state of emergency on 04/16/18 and even our airline was understanding on the unforseen circumstances of our cancellation. However the representative that we spoke to was NOT helpful in the slightest as we tried to cancel. With the damage and dangers there were even emergency airlifted evacuations, roads/park closures and ever GIANT sink holes opening up on the island! The front desk representative stated that the state & national news were lying and that the parks, roads and even pot holes had been fixed and reopened with in last 24 hours. Our family likes to go sightseeing we wanted to do the WHOLE ISLAND hitting it's biggest attractions and these were the locations that had TOTAL DEVASTATION AND CLOSURES! The representative stated that the south end of the island was open, my father advised her that was not the only locations and sites we wanted to see on our possible once in a lifetime trip! We let her know wanted to go when it was safe and be able to do our WHOLE vacation not half of the islands offerings! The representative stated she would be happy with seeing half of the island and if we cancelled we would be assessed the $130+ cancellation fee! The natural disaster has now been nationally and internationally recognized.

Awesome hotel with lots of room. Right by the poipu beach where you can snorkel and see turtles. Amazing food around. Highly recommend.

Having a small child it was just too long of a walk to the beach for him. I would have stayed closer to the water if I had to re-do our booking. Most units have windows that open allowing for a through unit breeze. No AC in the one we had. Regretted that at 2pm everyday. Near the beach the area opens up into a large very short mowed field. Nothing on it to step on and hurt yourself. Chased the kid around barefoot for hours. The beach and lawn are great here. Staff was nice and helpful.

Had a great trip! Lovely place/staff was kind. Had a partial ocean view with plenty of room with nice setting. Would stay here again!

Avoid unit 99. Rust-stained bathtub, corroded appliances and worn furniture marred what was otherwise a pleasant stay in this beautiful resort. Owner needs to invest some $$ to spruce up the unit.

Kauai is Paradise. Kiahuna Plantation makes it our favorite place on earth. Beach, shops, food, coffee-all so close.

We stayed here in December. Loved having our windows and doors open listening to the outdoor sounds. There is a shopping center directly across the street with shopping and restaurants. Close beach access with sea turtles every evening.
Gail was awesome with recommending and booking our activities during our stay.
Would definitely Orel book here again.
The only thing that needs to change is the pool closes way too early for the gorgeous warm evenings.

I would rebook here in a heartbeat. Yes, there is no AC (didn't need it) yes there are roosters that crow at 3:00am (wear earplugs) and yes there are a few bugs (you are in the tropics! ). The landscaping cannot be beat — it's a gardener's paradise. The staff is professional but friendly, and very efficient. It has a old world feel to it, like people should be dressed in white and playing croquet on the lawn. I loved every minute of being here.

Just finished 6 nights in unit 72. Epic views, friendly staff, marvelous grounds, gorgeous beach. Would highly recommend.
