Location is fine — not much around without driving into town. Room and hotel were clean and well maintained, including the outdoor pool. Ample parking and nice grounds. Loved the wood floors in the room! Definitely a no-frills property, and could use some additions for the price, but enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

I had a great 4 night stay here. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had my pug with me and was so relieved to be able to have him without feeling anxious that the staff would be overly critical. One of the best pet friendly places I have ever been for sure. It’s obvious many patrons do not appreciate this aspect as they do not clean up very well after their pets. Not really the staff’s fault but something to suggest for future guests since this establishment is so great about accommodating our furry family members.

Way over priced. Almost 70 a night. Broken AC unit. Pubic hair in toilet. No plug for tub. Do not stay there if can go somewhere else do it.

My son, my dog and I stayed for 6 nights. Our room was recently renovated and clean. The staff was friendly and always available for assistance. My only issue was that our air conditioner was old and did not work properly. The pool was beautiful and there was always clean towels available to use. We really enjoyed our time there, in fact we spent more time playing at the pool then we did sightseeing or visiting our family. Our family was welcome to join us at the pool and we also made some great friends! Thank you!

Room was extremely clean; REALLY LIKED the uncarpeted floors (do you know how much germs and whatnot are held in carpets, even though they might be cleaned regularly? ). The room was exactly what we needed — a clean place to sleep for a very reasonable price. Extra frills would not have made us sleep better :-) The only thing is that we would have liked two pillows each on the bed. But that's small potatoes. Will definitely use Motel 6 again — — and the Spokane West location we stayed will be seeing us again.

Lasted about five minutes in the room. After a super long day we showed up took a shower and went to crawl into the bed. Pulled back the sheet and saw a pubic hair. Pulled back the sheet some more hoping it was maybe an eyelash and found several more, scabs, dead bugs and to top it off a fresh mark from a male who had intercorse smack dab in the middle of the bed. We quickly checked out. So disgusted my children used the towels in that room. Of course everything was booked everywhere else for the night (graduation weekend). It was an absolute nightmare. Thankfully we have family within 45 minutes so we ended up crashing on their floor.

My room appeared to be very clean with what appeared to be a recent remodel to the bathroom, although the shower did not work. However the motel as a whole is an eyesore. I am really hoping they are remodeling, cuz it looks terrible. Overall my stay was peaceful, the room was clean, and if the shower would have worked I would have given them a four star rate.

Delightful gal at front desk; polite. The grounds and hallways and buildings appeared dirty and dingy with trash laying at the entrance we used. Garbages and ash cans needed emptied and cleaned. But, with some elbow grease to those issues, it's a good place for the price. The pool is a plus.

The rooms have been renovated except for the smoking ones. Good TVs for the price. Hardwood floors. Nice showers. Close to downtown. Only downside is that the Wi-Fi is terrible. If the rooms are available and the price is near the same go with days inn.

We have stayed in other Motel 6 places, with this one the same price of others but the others were better updated/kept up and much cleaner. We questioned if this room was not cleaned after the last couple stays. It is in a good area though.

I'd recommend putting locks for the guests on the outside doors so random meth heads cannot roam the halls during the night. Or at least the ones who do paid… I'd also recommend you replace some of the carpet and other items in the hotel. I'd much rather go to the La Quinta for 30 bucks more and everything be clean and new.

The room was clean and decent for a very low cost option. The hall way was having the carpet replaced and the entire place smelled of old cigarettes and something gross. It feels like this place could be vastly improved on and is getting pretty dilapidated.

Motel had construction involving carpet replacement in the hall, but this was a weekend visit so that was a non-issue. Staff was very helpful. The first room was on the ground floor next a room that seemed to have a long stay family who were quite noisy. At my request, without argument, we were moved to a second floor room which was much better. As a side note, the first floor of the motel seemed to smell musty and like old cigarette smoke, but it had the old carpet. I stayed in this motel about 20 years ago and I was impressed with the current conditions. After an early morning flight for my wife, I was able to come back to the room and sleep until ~9 am without any distraction. The room was clean and functional. There wasn't any wasted space such as dressers with drawers for travelers who would only stay one night. The beds were comfortable for me as were the pillows. If I knew the brand of pillow, I'd probably buy them for myself. The second floor had new carpet and did not have any smell. The staff was helpful and friendly.

They were in the middle of remodel which I understand that's why I gave an average. The property outside was wall to wall dog sh. I walked out the door there was a big pile. I asked the clerk to please have some one to clean it up. That never happen. So if you like dog sh stay here.

Usually, I have a good experience with Motel 6. However, this last visit was bad. Although we requested a two bed, non-smoking room, the room smelled of obvious smoke, leaving my son and I with not feeling well. The only other availability was a room with a single bed. The room was also obviously very old and outdated, and not very clean. The curtain had a large tear in it, the sheets had burn holes in them, the blankets and carpets were stained, my son's bed had hair in the sheets. The shower was dirty, no shampoo or creme rinse bottles, no hair dryer.

Cheap. Definitely cheap. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower, so you should bring your own. Found garbage under the bed. It was kinda gross. Its kind of a maze to find the ice machine. Dogs allowed and Night staff is good. That's the only reason for the two star. I guess you get what you pay for though.

Wow! What a shocker. I seriously did not believe this was Motel 6. The room was musty smelling, the bed had a thin throw and light weight blanket on it. There were two flat "throw size " pillows on the bed (so small the pillow case was folded over and tucked inside). The shower had black gummy mold around it! We were in Spokane for early morning Dr. Appointments it was snowing and freezing cold out. All through out the night there were doors slamming and banging on the walls. We have stayed in Motels in Spokane and NEVER had such a horrible experience, they were not Motel 6 our mistake for choosing your Motel, never again.

Entire motel—exterior & inside—reeks heavily of tobacco smoke ii. Room door difficult to open iii. Carpets in halls ripped, torn, stained, fraying, & malodorous iv. Entire campus is obviously dated & not well maintained nor cleaned to even a minimum standard v. Hallways & room smelled of some odd combination of rotten cheese, mold, & urine? vi. Room had overwhelming marijuana odor vii. Window “curtain” essentially thin, threadbare sheet of poor quality fabric haphazardly “covering” the window viii. “Pool, ” outdoor, tho closed b/c of winter, appeared dated, dingy, & cluttered w/ various things ix. Shady characters walking around @ odd, late hours, seemingly loitering or otherwise Only reason you’d stay here is if you couldn’t find a place to park your car while sleeping in it overnight, or if you really were pinching pennies. Imho it’s NOT worth the risks to your safety, health, & personal property. Don’t stay here if you’ve kids with you. I immediately vacated the room & requested a refund, which I was granted. I got the hell outta there & opted for the Holiday Inn a mile or so away. Over 2x the price but much cleaner, neater, attractive. Used to be loyal to Motel 6. They just lost my business permanently.

I have stayed in a number of Motel 6's and usually have a great experience. This one is a bit rough. The location is not super easy to get to from the interstate at night and the location seemed a little rough. There were people just hanging out both in and out of the hotel and it just felt uncomfortable. The hotel and rooms are outdated and not very clean. There were burn marks on the carpet and the room was generally dingy. Also, there was a loud argument under my window around 10:00 pm. I know the hotel can't control that, but a patrol officer came to the parking lot shortly after the argument ended. It was just not a great experience.

This motel 6 is disgusting. I would give it zero stars if I could. It reeks of cigarettes and marijuana and urine. There were obvious drug deals going on in the parking lot. The carpet in our room was nasty and stained. The comforter had cigarette burns all over it. The sheets were so thin you could see the mattress underneath. And worst of all there were hairs all over the sheets and pillows. My husband took a quick shower and we went out for dinner and decided that if we could find another room in Spokane, we were staying elsewhere. (There were concerts all weekend and a lot of the hotels were sold out) I would have rather slept in my car than slept in that gross room. Luckily we found another room at a different hotel and paid 3 times as much but it was worth every penny NOT to have to stay there. We talked to the manager the next day and he refunded only half of our money because we used the shower. I have stayed in many motel 6s in the past and they have always been very basic but clean and safe. This Motel 6 is very dirty, unclean and I did not feel safe just driving through the parking lot.

Holy crow where do I start!?! First the rooms looked like they haven't remodeled since the 80's. This I know because I haven't seen a tubed TV since then. Except at Goodwill. Curtains hung with shower clips and shower curtain hung with window clips. The beds looked like they have never been replaced. I bought my bed at home used and it's in better shape then these! Told my travel companion that we where going to have to take turns watching my car. Turned out they where trying to break into our room, not the car. Then had their "security" pounding on our door at 3am while we where trying to sleep. These guys. So high I was getting a contact high standing next to them. The manager did refund us but asked it he switched us to a room with a microwave and refrigerator if we would stay. My life is only worth a microwave and refrigerator? Gave it one star because it had rooms available. Now I know why.

The price is amazing the staff is great. Is it a Hilton? No. But my room was clean and staff was amazing. I have a 4 star because there are some shady people that rent there but I felt safe because staff stays on top of it!

When we checked into our room the TV didn't work. While we were sitting watching the desk person (she was wonderful) try to fix it we noticed the heat/air didn't work. We were moved to a different room next door (my wife's wheelchair got caught in the holes in the rug in the hall). The blankets in this room were full of cigarette holes on both beds. If we weren't so tired from travel we would have left and gone to another motel. I have always liked Motel6 but doubt if we will ever stay there again. There were more disturbing things about this motel but I don't even want to think about them.

Location was good. Staff was great. Carpet was DIRTY needs replaced. There was glow in the dark graffiti painted on the walls of our room.

This is the worst motel you could chose. Go next door to the Econo Lodge, same price. There was weird things in my bed, bedding hadn't been washed. The place has very shady people. Overall disgusting smelly room. Linens smelled like urine. Truly, you don't want to stay here. Wouldn't give me a refund when I wanted to leave because I stayed past as hour. But we had left to get dinner as soon as we arrived so we didn't have time to assess the bedding.

Room was passable. No fridge, microwave, or coffee in room but that's usually the case with Motel 6, so no problem there. We were here on a Friday night, and it was a very busy place all hours. People coming and going, cars driving through lot repeatedly, music bumpin. Not the most restful place if you need peace and quiet. Bring earplugs and be sure to lock your vehicle securely. Obvious drug deals and party scene happening while we were here, both inside and in the parking areas. Besides that it was fine.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We reserved a non-smoking room for 4 adults. When we checked in, there were only two bath towels, but the woman at the front desk was pleasant when I asked for more, so no worries there. The cigarette holes in the bedspread of one bed and the sheets of the other did raise some concern. I was willing to overlook the stains on the carpet, but replacing damaged bedding should not be neglected. The real problem was the housekeeping, or rather lack thereof. We checked in Friday night. Saturday, housekeeping never entered our room. The dirty towels were still on the bathroom floor, the beds were unmade and the garbage cans full. On Sunday one bed was made, but not the other and half of the garbage had been taken. The dirty towels were removed, but not replaced with clean ones. We were out of toilet paper, so I took a roll from the housekeeping cart myself. Housekeeping did not enter our room again until after we checked out on Tuesday. I am willing to consider that it is a bargain motel, but my son and his fiancée paid the same amount for their room in a different establishment and their room was cleaner and included such basic amenities as a mini fridge and a coffee pot.

This place is located close to the Spokane airport. It had bright lighting around the parking lot. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. They a small pool out front. However, the room was run down, especially the carpet. I did not feel comfortable taking my shoes off because it looked dark and old. The room also smelled like a mixture of smoke and mold. I am not sure why, but I think part of it was because of the old air conditioning unit. It still worked but I think it may have needed to be cleaned. So the air in the room irritated my throat during our stay. Thankfully we were there for just one night. Why did we stay here? It was the cheapest we could find at the time.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this motel 6 during the fourth of July weekend. They were able to get us in last minute in a non-smoking room. For $80 a night you can't really expect a 4 star hotel, but this one really didn't seem as bad to us as most of these reviews. Jessica at the front was professional, friendly and put us in an upstairs room. The room accommodated our needs, as we were only there to sleep at night and shower. We were personally never approached by any transient, and had no issues while staying here. This motel is located a few blocks from downtown Spokane, which we actually liked. Overall if you are in a pinch I would recommend this place, just remember this is a motel 6 not the Davenport.

Was given a room in the "non-smoking" part of the hotel. Although the room itself smelt old it didn't have the smell of smoke right away. When we laid down we could not only smell the cigarette smoke but you could almost taste it. I ended up putting a towel to block the crack in the door to help. The beds were also not comfortable. We only got one key card because the machine wasn't working. For the price I would expect a little bit cleaner and some updates. When we pulled up they had a lot of people in the parking lot. I kept looking at my car throughout the night. The front counter person was very helpful. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. For the $80 I paid I could have paid $20 more down the street and slept way better.

Clean room with air conditioning. Perfect for the heat. The pool was clean and relaxing before calling it a night. Nice and quiet. Also on the bus line. Only a ten to. Fifteen min ride into town on the bus. The staff was very helpfull and the maid service was quick and efficient and very friendly.

We actually planned to stay at a motel 6 by Spokane airport but the crowd the smell and the motel itself was such poor quality we swapped our reservation. We ended up staying at motel 6 off Argonne and the room is the quality you would expect from a motel 6 not great but totally acceptable. The only major complaint is that of the smell of smoke in my non smoking room. The bathroom is also incredibly dirty, with coffee and what looks like a bit of blood. All in all not terrible… Just a motel 6

Too Bad This Motel. Over Charge. Price of the reservation, $ 79.51, Charge to me $81.51. Different price. First experience. Maybe, preemption of chips? In the same model 6 never was. Why, only here? Feelin 'bad Once again surprise! Bed sheets are not clean full of wrinkles. And it has torn bed sheets, toilet water does not stop, opened in each case cover the work to stop because it does not stop.

The front desk worker was great and helpful. A student from Portugal who was a student at Gonzaga. He was THE ONLY positive part of my experience. The computer froze for 45 minutes after I arrived at 1:45 am. I was exhausted and trying to rest before a 6 am flight but didn't get a room until 2:30. The hallways and room were dirty and the people around the hotel seemed to be on drugs and I just generally felt unsafe & couldn't sleep. There was an anxious man with sores over his face taking to himself in the hallway who asked which room I was staying in. After I locked my door I heard him waking up and down the hallway talking to himself. I'm not sure but there seemed to be some sort of weird sex trafficking activity going on in the room next to me as people were coming and going and I could hear peopleI having sex during the 2.5 hours I was there. When I left I saw a man attached to a collar that a woman was holding and both has large black diamonds painted over there eyes. Scary hotel for sure.

Room was one of the worst I've stayed in (Room 118). Had a really funky smell (we think it was coming from the bathroom). Thin walls — was very glad when the neighbor finally went to bed. My wife had bug bites of some kind in the morning. Motel 6 is out of the rotation for us.

First, I only paid $33/night because I stayed 7 days. I'm not sure it was worth it. This neighborhood is pretty bad. I wouldn't be surprised if someone had been murdered in this room. One of the beds has a blood stain on the box spring as if someone had a very severe leak in their head and the towel rack in the bathroom was caked with a thick brownish something, that I was afraid to look to closely at. The staff are friendly if not a bit strange. My first hour after check-in the guy at the desk called to ask if the room was clean enough (hadn't noticed the signs of murder yet) and when I asked for another clean pillow case (mine had hairs on it) he agreed to send it, but never did. All in all, it's cheap, so if you are too it's a good fit.

The staff was so very nice and professional. Would deffinitly stay here again on my next trip back to spokane.

The woman at the front desk was really nice and helpful and nice to talk to. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hallway smelled like smoke a bit, which was not great and the bathroom had a weird door knob that you couldn't close from the outside (I was traveling with cats and would have liked to have kept them in the bathroom so they didn't hid under then beds). But it was fantastic that they allow pets with no extra charge :) Overall really good experience!

We have used this motel many times. But this last stay is our last for sure. The room was not clean, one bed was lop sided, the box springs had huge strings (from wear) hanging to the floor, there was actually a screw and an old rubber band on the floor. Our key card was deactivated two hours before check out time. I complained to the front desk when we checked out, was promised a phone call from the manager, which never came.
