What a unique little inn right in the heart of Seattle.

This place is amazing, rooms are beautiful and staff a very friendly and welcoming.
Close to everything you need, if I ever return I am staying here for sure.

Wonderful place to stay while visiting for work or pleasure. Perfect central location. Rooms are clean, uncluttered and comfortable — The beds are extremely comfortable! The staff are true professionals who clearly take pride in their work. Front desk go the extra mile by happily accommodating requests and making recommendations for breakfast, transportation and more. All of the little extras the Inn provides in addition to the excellent staff make El Gaucho a treat to stay when in Seattle!

Very nice upscale Hotel. I loved the bedding! Every night they have complimentary wine for the guests and the staff is very friendly!

Charming, warm vibe with great service! The free happy hour was especially nice with a good selection of wines and snacks and it was a great way to meet and chat with other guests. The rooms had been recently renovated and were really tasteful and comfortable, despite having a few teething issues (shower door didn't close properly, phone and didn't work), and the room could have had a few more finishing touches such as pictures (there were picture hooks), and a rug on the bare floor. Overall the place felt very warm and comfortable, and the service was excellent!

Very nice place to spend the night. Staff very helpful and food is outstanding. Bring your wallet dinner and drinks for 2 was $300. We brought our own bottle but corkage fees are high. Fun to do once in awhile, if u like to cook buy the cooking spices for steak, out of this world!

Best Steaks in a very long time. Service was first class and outstanding. Sides are large (and sharable), be sure not to order too many sides. All the food was prepared from scratch, so it came to the table piping hot. I am a Martini drinker, and the martinis here were some of the best I have had.

Had a lovely stay at The Inn at El Gaucho in Seattle. Very friendly staff, a comfortable room and we appreciated the personal touches that were made. Would gladly stay here again.

Very friendly staff. They have a wine tasting event in the afternoons which is free for guests. This is a very cool historic inn perfect distance from bars and restaurants, but not too loud.

Don't let the outside deceive you. May not be flashy and glitzy but everything you want from a fine hotel is here. I would stay here easily over any place in Seattle. Service and friendliness is truly their priority. Wine and snacks served nightly, a wonderful lounge and restaurant and excellent housekeeping. Amazingly awesome.

One of the nicest — while still authentic and reasonably priced — hotels I've been to. I loved the middle of the 20th century vibe — black and white photographs on the walls, quietly playing jazzy radio. Room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful (gave us couple of good advices — e. G. Kerry Park and Gas Works Park for great views of the city, CJ's Eatery for good breakfast). Location is very good, too. But the real differentiator was the complimentary wine available at reception every evening — loved that! Will definitely return.

Best place to stay in Seattle period. Awesome boutique hotel with staff that goes above and beyond located above a restaurant that has phenomenal food and a cool old timely vibe. Seriously doesn’t get better than this place.

Easily the best steak I've had in some time. Better than Gordon Ramsay Steak in Vegas, and Ruth's Chris Seattle. Had it served tableside on a sword. Great ambience and good service. Definitely felt like it was worth the price. And they even validate your parking!

Great location and rooms! The retro feel and the complimentary wine tasting was a great touch. Would definitely recommend!

This is such an excellent place. Funky decor, very clean and comfy room, wonderful, helpful, friendly staff. Close to everything. One drawback, must climb 2 flights of stairs. They do have an elevator for your luggage. Highly recommended.

Our time here was incredible. Lee took care of us during the night and Lee took care of us during the day. (Both women named Lee lol) Less than 20 rooms and you get a very personal experience. 5pm they bring out bottles of wine for your enjoyment. Beautiful common area and the rooms are very nice as well. Surprisingly affordable for the amount of personal attention you receive by the staff. We got engaged and they brought us a bottle of champagne! Amazing service, beautiful hotel, and unforgettable memories. Thank you El Guacho family!

Customer service is excellent — everyone (I mean, everyone) made us feel welcomed. The price was right for this centrally-located inn. Nothing fancy about this place, but very comfortable. We had an interior room, so it was very quiet for sleeping. The standard room was surprisingly large — comfy bed and nice siting area. I think a few things in the room could use a refresh, but it definitely wasn't too tired. The lobby was comfortable, yet small. If you're okay with a boutique hotel, you'll love this place. I plan on staying here again.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Inn at El Gaucho recently for a two night stay. From booking the room, to check-in and all throughout my stay, the staff and property exceeded my expectations. The location was a huge plus as well. Could not have asked for a better stay. Would highly recommend anyone/everyone stay here.

We ended our 3 week holiday to Canada and the US by stopping in Seattle and so pleased we stayed at El Goucho. Wonderful location, fantastic restaurant and the nicest staff you could ever ask to meet. If you want to make your stay special then you can be sure that this is a place to stay.

Quaint little inn. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. The Wi-Fi was very slow and unfortunately our room which faced an alley was not quiet. The location is good, close to Pike's Market and the Space Needle.

The 4 of us stayed 15 till 18 May 2017. The Inn is in a great position — walking distance to most things. Staff were awesome and very helpful. The cinema downstairs was great — order your drinks and they bring them in at intervals. The rooms are spacious and lovely. But, it is all about that bed. There are no words, it was like sleeping on a cloud, you could just snuggle all day. Thank you for a great stay.

The staff at the hotel were wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating. Hotel room was great as well. Close to many attractions as we are from out of town this was great. Would definitely stay again when we make it back to Seattle. Thanks again to the wonderful staff!

Candy was the best. She really went out of her way to make sure my stay was the best possible. Happy hour wine was great!

Restaurant and inn is a must do! All staff treat you like amazingly. Can't wait to come back and stay again in a couple weeks!

The room was very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had to borrow a phone charger, and it was pretty cool that they had one for us to use. The shower had good sized shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided. It was quiet, but our room (10) didn't have a view. They have a valet/overnight parking which was nice. It's within walking distance of a bunch of bars and restaurants which was nice. They also had complimentary happy hour wine and snacks.

Could not love this hotel more! Great location in Belltown (easy walking distance to city center and Pike Place; quick Uber to Pioneer Square) and nice, clean rooms. There are a zillion restaurants and bars within a few blocks. They also offer wine and snacks in the lobby for happy hour. The best part of staying here though, was the staff — super friendly, happy to provide info and recommendations, and little things like providing us with umbrellas on a rainy day. Made my time in Seattle even better!

Had a lovely time staying here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the décor cool and retro, location is great just a short walk to both the Needle and Pike Place Market and there's a happy hour with free wine in the evening. Would definitely stay again!

As nice as a hotel can be! Love the little things like complimentary cookies, wine to help ourselves and coffee as much as you like. Definitely would come back again!

Best inn I have ever stayed at.

I Called to see if we could cancel our hotel room even though we were three hours past the deadline. I was told by the employee that he had no problem with that and we wouldn't be charged the cancelation fee. During the conversation I re iterated multiple times that I would not have to be charged anything and he said that was correct. Fast forward to the day we had originally planned to stay at the hotel and there is a pre authorization on our card. My husband calls the hotel and the person he talks to is extremely rude saying that was the cancelation fee and that his employees have all worked there for years and know the policy and he wouldn't be able to confirm anything until Monday. We now have had the money withdrawn from our account and we would have never canceld if I was not assured multiple times I would not be charged anything. There are so many other hotels that have excellent customer service don't waste your time or money staying at a dishonest hotel, like the Inn at El Goucho.

Had a great night and a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room. We used the valet service which is well worth it. I am terrible at remembering names but the girl at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Went to the restaurant and had the best escargot and Oysters Rockefeller we have ever had. And we are both in our mid 60's. Will definitely be back.

What a lovely boutique hotel, in such a great location! I stay in the area twice a year for conferences at Bell Harbor conference center, so I've tried a lot of other options in the area. Super friendly staff, and I loved the complimentary wine in the lounge area each night (nice wines, too! ). The room was very big, probably 3x the size of most hotel rooms, with 2 nice leather couches, quiet A/C, cool funky bathroom. They've done a really nice job of the styling and decor too. Price was great compared to the Edgewater and Marriott nearby, plus this place had a lot more style/cool factor :-) I'll stay here again, for sure.

Checking in was fast and we had fresh baked cookies waiting for us in the room! This is a great location with street parking, and they provide valet parking, though we parked on the street for free (after 8pm). Our room was quiet, clean, spacious, with a large leather couch/ seating area, and it had the most comfortable pillows we've ever used! In the evenings they have a complimentary wine tasting in their lobby from 5-7. It was really nice sitting by their fire and drinking wine before heading out for the night. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner downstairs in the El Gaucho Restaurant, with scallops, filet mignon, brussel sprouts, and bananas foster made table side! We visited the Boeing factory which we highly recommend to everyone. Seeing Boeing jets being built really opens your eyes to how incredible air travel really is. We had a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who made it very fun. The Inn is located within walking distance of the Space Needle and the Chihuly glass museum which is also really impressive. The Inn at El Gaucho is now our go to place when visiting Seattle now.

My fiancee and I spent a weekend in Seattle with another couple and El Gaucho vastly exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, close to downtown and surrounded by shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff (especially John) was extremely helpful and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms and clean and thoughtfully furnished down to the details. And on top of all we got complimentary wine tasting in the evening. We'll definitely stay at El Gaucho again next time we drop in Seattle.

The rooms are OK, it looks older but does have some very nice amenities. The people working there are really nice though. The main thing is the Restaurant!. Impeccable service, and great food.

Wow! My husband and I stayed at the Inn for a weekend getaway. We were pampered every step of the way. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great room with a view of the Sound. We spent the day walking around Seattle visiting Pike's Place Market and other great spots. You won't regret your decision to stay at El Gaucho. We will definitely stay there again.
