Clean room, nice service by all the staff.

I was literally walked in on while in the shower by the cleaning staff. Would not recommend.

I will never in my life forgive the out right disrespect of this ENTIRE facility. Secret charges. Lack or customer service. Your hotel went out of its WAY! to charge a paying customer any and every fee they could find. I was blamed for 3rd party booking. I was shamed for not "knowing ". I pulled up every email. Confirmation along with taking PICTURES of the LACK of policy disclaimers to a Customer. I had to get MY bank involved and proved that I out of 20 others was told and charged differently. I have picture, time frames and proof that your hotel is NOT respectable. The staff is BEYOND disrespectful. They don't even dress professional with Jeans on! not 1 staff member was wearing a mask mandatory by Governor of Washington state due to COVID 19.

I went there last year for crypticon Seattle (horror convention) and they didn’t disappoint. If you’re a horror fan and live in the Seattle area, they always host this convention.

I think everything was great except not enough handicap parking in the paid parking lot and so I had to walk two buildings away just to get in the building. I do know they have a hugh amount of parking only when your checking in and you can’t park there and then go to your room or you will get towed.

Perfect location for airport. Thanks for the early check in and helpful staff. We had 3 rooms and the front desk made sure they were on the same floor and close to each other. Room was great size and it was nice to be able to open balcony door and let the fresh air in. Restaurant was great toooo.

Our Flight was cancelled and the airline sent us to the Double Tree. The staff handled the rush of guests sent to them. The room was great. The bar food was very good. Airport shuttle was an easy process. The warm cookies are always yummy.

Have stayed there many times always looking forward to the next stay. Courteous staff, clean facility and excellent service. Breakfast dining is exceptional. Very nice! Thanks Divina and Kelly!

I always love the hotel. The best hotel near the airport.

Booked a room for one night back in July. Called back within an hour to cancel. Hotel has refused to refund the booking. When booking, the person on the phone failed to tell me the hotel's strict cancellation policy or notify when cancelling that I must still pay the full booking price ($298 at the time) even though the room was booked just an hour before. I was not emailed a confirmation of either the booking or cancellation, and when calling the hotel since to deal with the matter, they are both dismissive of the mistake on their end and offer no consolation or grace offer for their extremely strict timeline.

I am not sure why other people have stated that this is not a big hotel? This place is huge! The staff is very pleasant. There are several food options in the hotel but are very pricey. The room rates were very reasonable. The room was very clean and a good size. The location is great and the shuttle runs to and from the airport every 20 mins or so. The drivers will also take you to a very good restaurant or even a half a mile away “13 Coins”.

Nice restaurant that serve great wine and an awesome room however; they stuck me in the back so my view was construed by another building that was under construction. I had to pay the walk-in fee which was $338 for the night so I guess I was hoping for a room with a good view. Overall a very nice hotel and the staff were very helpful behind the counter downstairs in the lobby.

Amazingly expensive, but I think/hope your paying for location, it is close to the airport and a shuttle takes you there for free. Staff is beyond accommodating at heart, we didn't need much, but they are willing. The Hotel is not big, but can be hard to navigate, gym looked nicer than most. Pool is a good size. Lots of airport staff makes it kind of fun, to see pilots and and such. Starts at 300 a night.

Very nice hotel and they offer some helpful free service like shuttle to the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. You get a cookie as you wait to check in or whatever. Plenty of nice places near by as well as inside the hotel to eat at. All in all a great place to stay if you are visiting.

This place offers the least amount of services for the most amount of money. This place is so huge its hard to find your way around. Expensive restaurant. Very ghetto area. The front desk staff treats it like an assembly line for check in. NEXT! I have stayed here 25+ nights for work. If they "upgrade" you to the pent house floor I would say no thank you. I had to call security 3 times that night to get the raging party in the room next to mine to quit trying to get into my room. The top of the towers is a night club and it gets pretty crazy. This place gets 2 stars for the cookie. The cookie is pretty good. Not grandma's cookies but pretty good.

My room was in building on the third floor, and it had a variety of strange smells. The building had a little bit of an older feel. Room had a dirty hand towel (that was a little strange). Rest of room was clean. The breakfast buffet was great with fresh eggs, bacon, and excellent sausage. Variety of fresh fruit. Bar area was nice with comfortable places to sit and relax. Bar waitress was awesome with 35 years of experience! Rest of Staff was helpful and skilled.

Okay so it's a little outdated. It's clean. The staff is incredibly friendly. The hotel is truly massive, be prepared to do a lot of walking to get to your room. The elevator smell like old Chinese food, and there might be bees outside your balcony, but the location is fantastic. It's very close to the airport you can even walk if you'd like however a bus is available every 20 minutes. Many restaurants nearby, both fast food and sit down. The hotel also has its own restaurant and Quick Serve breakfast and lunch bars. For the money, it's a great Hotel.

Attention Hilton Honors members you must pay for breakfast here they say it's a upgrade from contnental for ten dollars! Diamond or not! Wow Parking is. $$$$ 30.00$$$$$ self parking … valet five dollars more Tired old rooms, rooms are very spread out. If you have physical challenges, it might be a hike. Breakfast is great but they simply nickel and dime you here is you like to get gouged this is the hotel for you. Room rate 240.00 plus 30.00 plus breakfast 10.00 Room rate is actually $$280 nightly. $$$$$$$$$$$ Close to hotel and has shuttle. Does have good bar. Bus popular hotel as well, many tour. Buses. I am not a big fan! I do not recommend.

The double tree felt like a pseudo resort when we stayed there. Really comfortable beds and beautiful rooms and grounds. They have a shuttle that runs a loop to the airport every 20 minutes. Just be prepared to spend an extra ~$31 a night for parking. No fridge/microwave. No breakfast included. All in all a great stay.

WOW! This hotel blew me away by its rustic charm and fascinating layout. When you first enter you are greeted by an inviting fire place. As you continue walking through the lobby, there is a Starbucks combined with a mini-mart that sells a variety of food items as well as beer and wine. There is a decent sized pool and jacuzzi great for relaxing and unwinding. Another plus is the 24hr fitness center, which is absolutely important to me! Because of the spacious lay out of the hotel, there are plenty of nooks and crannies to take refuge under. The rooms are a great size too! There are plenty of dining options within walking distance as well. I wish I had had more time to thoroughly enjoy and take advantage of everything it offered. I would definitely recommend this hotel! You will NOT be disappointed!

My wallet was misplaced in my hotel room, and I had no idea until I was in the airport. I called the security/lost and found department, and I was told they found my wallet. I paid to get my wallet sent back to me, and my driver's license was missing from my wallet. I talked to a security representative who kept talking away from the phone. I talked to another one who kept telling me I was overlooking my driver's license, and my license was inside my wallet. I think I would be able to see if my driver's license was in my wallet. The security/lost and found workers told me lost items were supposed to be inventoried. Why wasn't my license put in their inventory? I reached out to the hotel manager, but I have not receive any response. Lose or misplace items at this hotel at your own risk.

Spacious rooms, nice hotel staff. No fridge in room. They charge 15 bucks a night for a mini fridge. (not worth it in my opinion). Otherwise it's a decent stay.

The hotel itself is really beautiful inside and like a maze through a beautiful garden. The service was great and the staff was helpful and pleasant. The food was amazingly great. I would come back again to stay at this hotel. Plus it's near the airport.

The DoubleTree is a good hotel. The rooms are nice, clean and the staff on site is very helpful. Very convenient to the airport and the restaurants inside serve great food. The only con I have found lately is the parking rates have gone up by at least double in the past year or two. I parked lasf night visiting family at the hotel, I was there for less than 1 hour and it was $23.

Very quiet. Conveniently close and even walking distance to the airport. Food was a bit pricey but decent. There are several restaurants nearby. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Little balcony and woodsy feel made it comfy. Would recommend.

We were in the hotel for an event. There is a coffee shop in the lobby open all day, but the parking is very expensive.

This hotel was amazing! At first glance it looks a bit outdated but it is a cozy and honestly beautiful place to stay. At first the layout of the signs and hallways in the wing section of the hotel was the most confusing thing but by the first night we had figured it out. There are little areas where they have all these plants and moss that are like little terrariums and are so beautiful. The pool and hot tub are clean and great for swimming. There is also a lake outback that is nice to look at out of the balconies. This place is a 10/10 for a hotel near the airport.

Great Property. Very Large Hotel. Customer Service is Outstanding. Pricey Menus and no fridge or micro in room. Limited TV channels. Good luck finding a parking spot even if you pay. Been better places where you get more for a lot less.

Great location, large comfortable studio rooms. The staff was very pleasant. Parking is sometimes difficult and visitors have to pay to park. Valet service is available. Breakfast had a nice variety of fresh fruits as well as a wide assortment of normal breakfast fare. Highly recommended.

We booked the New Year's Eve package and attended the NYE party at Maxie's dance club on the top floor. Had a bit of a hick up with our room location but Isaiah at the front desk changed the room w/out any hassle. Friendly room service staff. Maxie's party was well decorated, organized, staff was friendly and everything was appointed as advertised.

Friendly and efficient front desk staff. We love the warm cookies at check-in and they never refuse us when we ask for more. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and warm duvets. The Careline quickly brought us more pillows on request. I booked the stay, park and fly rate that is an amazing value. You can't park and fly for 14 days for such a cheap rate and you get to spoil yourself with a night stay and 14 days valet parking. We really enjoyed the extra holiday touch of hot apple cider in the lobby. Only disappointment was the restaurant that was way overpriced and the food was not tasty or good quality. I would recommend eating out or order a pizza to be delivered.

Had to stay here when American Air made me miss a connecting flight to Juneau, Alaska. I was already in a foul mood walking in, but everyone and everything was just so nice, I couldnt stay mad at all. The room I had was very large and the bed very nice. Everything was just as perfect as could be. I would certainly stay here again, though hopefully of my own accord next time!

Great hotel right next to the airport. Convenient shuttle service to and from the airport. The rooms were clean and spacious, we forgot a few essentials so the staff helped us out with replacements. Would recommend this as a place to stay for families, singles any one who needs a nice place to stay. The place is huge, there was a pool, the hallways were a bit chilly for in the winter. Overall beautiful hotel with friendly staff and convenient location.

TO the nonchalant careless manager I just spoke to on the phone: I told you I would write a review and here it is. This hotel is run down, filthy, didn't even bother having room service because I cleaned up the hair and dust myself and figured your housekeeping would only make things dirty again. I met someone who was also staying at the hotel and she too complained the "main rooms" were run down and disgusting but told me she was given the option of booking a room in the tower. I told the manager I was never given this option and he told me there is an extra fee for it. Meanwhile this person I met just confirmed there was no extra charge. Word of advice: your guests don't like to be lied to. And even if u don't care, at least act like you do. Will never recommend anyone to stay here especially as long as you are in management.

Impeccable service far above anything I expected! When the concierge learned we would be taking the airport shuttle before their complementary breakfast was available, she gave us vouchers for the in-hotel cafe, which was open much earlier. Comfortable room. Hot cookies. Really pretty elevator, which the kids enjoyed.

Based on the hotel rooms themselves, this is your generic hotel. Nothing super special. The rooms are clearly older but they are presentable. I noticed some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling though which was kind of gross. The hotel layout is a bit strange. It's very large and sprawling with overhead walkways to connect everything. If you're on the first floor of a wing you have to actually walk outside to get to the building which is annoying when it's cold outside. Otherwise you ha e to take the elevator up, walk across, and take it back down again, which is inconvenient. The grounds are beautiful though and the cookies and cider are a nice welcoming touch upon check in. Front desk staff were good, but there was one person that quoted much higher prices for upgrades than the others, so we found ourselves intentionally avoiding speaking to them. If we needed something for our room, staff was super quick to bring it. Overall good stay, but next time we would rather stay in the tower that's actually connected to the hotel lobby, rather than a wing.

The room is very spacious. The doors to the outside can be fully opened. You have a pool, this spacious room also has a jacuzzi. The empliados are very friendly in all that they do.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. The Stay and Park worked great for our week long cruise to Alaska as the long term parking is right in front of the main entrance with people walking by at all hours of the night and day. The warm cookie at check-in is always nice, and the process to board your bus to the cruise terminal went fairly smoothly. Lost the 5th star as the building is dated. Clearly built several decades ago, and could really use a renovation. The gap in the elevator door for the elevators on the exterior of the hotel was a little concerning, but staff worked to get the issue fixed quickly. Very close to the Airport, and you will hear and see the planes taking off and landing, but the noise did not disturb my sleep.

This DoubleTree reminded me of a lodge style Resort. I really enjoyed how it looks like a log cabin. It is very close and convenient to the Sea-Tac Airport and they have a shuttle! It really makes for an easy stay. And there's even a Denny's across the street.

Great location and nice, friendly staff. Room is clean with good size. They do charge 24 for overnight parking, which is kind of pricy. And the free breakfast doesn't include hot items such as egg, bacon (cost extra $8 per person), that's overpriced as well.

Spent a weekend here for a convention and we stayed in the tower. Not a bad hotel, pretty standard. Food was expensive but not bad. Definitely have airport noise. Customer service was fairly friendly so that's a plus. Did really love the landscaping.

I enjoyed the room, and restaurant here. Also I enjoyed how close it was to the airport. The only thing I didn't like was paying for parking, and the maze like hallways.

The rooms are nice and all, but it's expensive for impractical locations, it costs extra to get a refrigerator or microwave, and all together there are tons of extra costs added after you buy a room if you want a normal hotel experience. To emulate a refrigerator since I was by an ice machine is I filled plastic bags up with ice and put them in the sink. The room is really nice and spacious despite all this; however, the desk staff are very poorly educated and terrible at their jobs. The security had to help me with room issues because of things the desk staff failed at, such as making new keys instead of duplicates when I needed duplicates.

I attended the first day of Everfree Northwest 2016 (My Little Pony convention). The experience was amazing! The difficult part was deciding which events to attend, because there there were so many. It is a really beautiful hotel though I did not stay in a room. It is convenient that there is a restaurant and a Starbucks inside the main entrance. Also I noticed a machine inside where you could pay for parking. The overall layout is open and beautiful and not overly complex. My only complaint would be that the vendor hall was very cramped. It was a tight squeeze to get around. I probably would have spent a lot more money in there if it wasn't so tight.

I stayed here during a convention, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The staff was always very kind and helpful, quickly providing anything I asked for. Rooms are clean, comfortable and don't lack any amenities. Housekeeping did an excellent job every night. Pool, jacuzzi and workout room were all clean and fully functional.

Located across the street from SeaTac (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport), the hotel features Northwestern Tribal Art and an architectural style distinctive to the Northwest. The rooms are relatively large and comfortable and the employees are friendly, albeit understaffed. That said, staffing shortages accentuated by a lack of training and the apparent inability of individual staff members to resolve guest needs without managerial oversight highlights a slide in service since the hotel was built. Gone is the sense of particular pride exuded by the original (pre-DoubleTree — — now Hilton/DoubleTree ownership). But then, both Hilton and DoubleTree were better run, more guest-oriented companies in those days too! I found the hotel to be adequate, but falling far short of its heritage and potential.

DoubleTree is a nice hotel. Good Wi-Fi service, good attendant, nice restaurant, close to a Link station that take you to downtown Seattle in about 40 minutes. The restaurant inside the hotel have good food and the hotel has a free shuttle service to the Sea-Tac Airport.

Speaking and working with the hotel staff and management was great. Even tho I was there to fix a service that is provided to the hotel that was having issues. The staff was very friendly and took me around to the units that I needed to access in order to restore service to the hotel. The lobby and various landings and hotel rooms that I had to access were extremely clean and welcoming.

Want to be near the Airport & a short drive to the Cruise ships-this is the place! Caught the free Doubletree shuttle from the SEATAC airport and arrived very soon to the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Airport location. One advantage of staying near/by an airport you fly into is the easy access to free shuttles and short transport time to/from the airport. Since we are Gold Hilton Honor members, we went to the special Hilton Honors member’s line and our wait time was a few minutes shorter. Check and was swift and the lobby was very expansive. The exterior of this Double Tree is very unique-it almost seemed like a little town in itself. We were greeted with two warm chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies from a smiling desk clerk who pointed us in the direction of the elevator and we went up to our clean king size bedroom that had its own balcony, flat screen TV and all the amenities you expect from the Hilton properties. We also were upgraded to their tower building. The check-in clerk was efficient and accurate and supplied us with lots of information we could use. She gave us information about the free shuttle to the mall and other places and the scheduled pickup times and we also received breakfast coupons for a continental breakfast. This coupon was good for only pastries, oatmeal, toast, etc — Everything except pancakes, bacon and eggs. If you want that it would be additional. Except for the full breakfast not being included we had no complaints.

Overpriced. At check in always told that rooms are being cleaned at this time but a lower quality room is available right now (for the price you paid for a higher quality room). Balcony doors get stuck. No microwave or fridge in the room. Really overpriced restaurant and room service. Overpriced parking (no spaces during events).

We've been coming here for Norwescon for the past ten years, and it's just like coming home. Joncee, the front desk supervisor, is a particularly wonderful example of why we look forward to coming here every year!

I ended up going to the wrong hotel while on a business trip. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful still, going as far as trying to find the correct hotel for me, and even offering to call me a cab or possibly a shuttle from the Doubletree. Seeing as I wasn't a guest at the Doubletree I was extremely pleased with the customer service she provided! Plus she gave me a fresh hot coolie from behind the counter! 5 out of 5!

Very comfortable, nice rooms and close to airport. However, I had an early flight and came down at 445 AM to catch shuttle. No coffee available in anywhere in hotel. C'mon, they can do better. Also, pool & hot tub were closed. Would have been 5 staf if it didn't have these 2 deficiencies.

Nice hotel, I stay here periodically. Only "complaint" this time was the service at the bar/restaurant. I felt like basic orders were made to seem like inconveniences and ours was one of only two occupied tables. Never had this problem with past stays at the hotel. Maybe it was just an off night.

The rooms are ok feel like they are really didn't compared to the suites. The TV programming should be better. The ac/heat didn't work well. But the front desk was very accommodating.

Our family with five, tired children ended up landing in Sea Tac around 1 am and making an impulsive reservation for this hotel. We are so glad we did! They sent out a shuttle (even at that hour) to pick us up and had smiles and a warm welcome (and chocolate chip cookies) at check in (which was a big hit for the kids! ) The rooms were huge, much bigger than most hotels and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. We didn't hear a peep all night and just enjoyed the rest we needed. It was wonderful to see the beautiful view from the balcony outside and have a chance to take the kids swimming (in the rain) in January in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub! We had a lot of fun and were grateful for the time we stayed! The room service was also top notch and our breakfast was delicious!

My room was purchased by delta, and in turn it was a low end room which was a brisk walk from the front desk. It served its purpose of having a bed, it wasn't anything to write home about. The highlight of the hotel was the cookie they give out as you check in, which isn't what I would want a guest to say if it were my hotel.

Very close to the airport. There are a few good places to eat nearby (Mango Thai and Sharps RoastHouse are good). Nice year round outdoor pool and spa. Good exercise rooms. Clean rooms, and friendly service.

Was here for a corporate training in a conference room. The hotel was nice and had lots of amenities. For some reason, they had AC running in the building when it was in the 40s outside. The bathroom was like a walk in freezer. Ate lunch at the hotel restaurant. Not great, but not terrible either. Had a Starbucks which was nice and another convenience store. Don't think I'd ever end up staying here, but it was a decent venue for my training.

Booked this hotel through hotels dot com last minute because of the deal and proximity to the airport. We arrived at the hotel around 7pm, to which the entrance was pretty packed, one thro lane, one bus lane and a valet lane (which costs about $36). Although, check-in was a breeze, somehow there was no line, so we were greeted nicely and given those famous warm cookies. We asked for our two rooms to be together, and they accommodated us well. Our rooms were in one of the towers, very spacious and beads were comfortable. The room was clean, and bathroom was nice and elegant. One thing to keep in mind, the hotel is HUGE. So expect a lot of walking to get around. Parking is also generally packed and at a price, we paid $10 for the night. Also, there was no free Wi-Fi nor complementary breakfast at this hotel.

Why make a reservation if you will change the room and upgrade to something not desirable and an excuse for the downgrade is "I don't know what happened, but we are out of rooms. My previous stay went well so I booked on another visit to the area. I booked 3 rooms, each for 6 days. I got a wrap balcony corner "suite. " It was the same as every other site, slightly larger balcony, and they gave me a handicap accessible from with a hand shower that took twice as long to shower with as it should have. I'd reserved a"mountain view " room for my colleague, he got a ground floor room, not even facing east that had no chance of a mountain view. The third room was OK in the tower. Beware: no refrigerators in the rooms! My first visit we enjoyed enough to come back. This visit will have me booking somewhere else on my next visit to the area. Very disappointing. The only reason to stay here is if you absolutely have to be right across the street from the airport.

The cafe was closed most of the time and when it was open there was no one there to seat us. The restaurant is very limited and the concessions are very overpriced. The rooms were clean, housekeeping was excellent and the hotel itself was fantastic. If you're considering staying I'd highly recommend it but advise you to look elsewhere for food.

I love it here only problem no microwaves, mini fridges cost 15.00 a day no in room safe other then that they treat you like a queen.

I havnt had no experience in this hotel yet but will love to stay there when I go to seattle wa. On august 3 2015

Worst service ever the front desk is understaffed and the most simplest request take 20 minutes. I was there just to pick up a credit card I left. It took literally 20 minutes just to find a credit card. No hope for any diamonds in their future.

This rating is for the breakfast and waitress! (Pam) The eggs bennie are awesome. I would have to agree with the others on the hotel. It is feeling a little dated now despite a room refresh a few years ago. Things like noisy A/C, not enough charging outlets are true. Lobby is nicely done. The shuttle service is great. Note: if you don't have a lot of gear you can walk from the airport its that close.

Horrible experience. Room was 100 degrees and smelled like someone just smoked a joint. It was a maze trying to find the room. Worst travel experience by far with no refund or voucher from the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel 13-17 November 2014. I was overcharged for parking and the rooms smelled like an elder care living facility. I would not recommend this hotel. The smell was so bad and so strong in the hallways I felt sick. The elevators were extremely cold. Management needs to do something about the above issues. My stay was definitely below standard. : (.

Great atmosphere and loved the size of the room! We had a double queen with balcony in the tower section. Since we have a son in a wheelchair the size of the room is important. Plenty of room to maneuver. There is a little wet bar area with sink outside the bathroom. The bathroom also had its own sink. This Doubletree is Hilton owned. This Hilton is way better than the Hilton down the street where we stayed earlier this week. There is also more eating choices at this location. I think two rest choices in hotel (very expensive) or you can walk just across the street to a dave's diner, taco bell or Jack in the box.

I stayed here for a conference and the hotel was nicer than expected. During my visit, I was able to travel to the first Starbucks and purchase a few items to take back east. The maid must have thought it was garbage and thrown it away, however, the manager Nicole G, really took care of the situation. Not only did she refund me the money but also, went to the original Starbucks and purchased the items and shipped them to me! Great managerial skills and thoughtfulness.
