We always remember the Blackbird Lodge as our favorite stay in Leavenworth. Having been in Bavaria several times, I can say that they duplicate the atmosphere and amenities closely.

Great location. If you enjoy walking you'll never have to drive in this lovely town. Friendly staff. Waffle breakfast was a nice touch. We will definately return.

The Blackbird lodge was charming, simple, and perfectly cozy! The shower was big enough for easily 3 people. The view of the mountains was very scenic. We were on the fourth floor so early in the morning you could easily see and hear the birds chirping. Pretty romantic I suppose. Plus everything was just a short walk away so you could drink your trip away and never have to drive! Friendly staff too and free waffles at breakfast until 10am. It was a lovely trip and the Blackbird just made it that much nicer. (Only bummer was the website says hottub/jacuzzi and the website is wrong there isn't one. )

Very quaint, has a lot of charm. Is very close to everything and has great views.

We had an amazing stay. It was our first time staying at blackbird lodge and we definitely would come again. It was a sweet smaller lodge great for our anniversary get away. It was walking distance from lots of shops and great places to eat. The only downside I noticed was the lack of parking. The parking was very tight. Other then that it was great.

Rooms are always clean and spacious. Easy check in friendly staff what can I say. Very pleasant & relaxing. All in all an exceptional choice.

Blackbird Lodge is a part of Vacation International and is one of my favorite places to visit. The building is located right in the town and close to everything. I like the rooms in the back that look over the river.

Great location. Nice studios. Parking is a perk for location but very tight for large vehicles.

Studio unit was nice, and ours had a gas fireplace. No kitchen in the studios, just a small refrigerator and a microwave. Location right downtown is hard to beat. Parking very tight it a small, cramped garage. There are 3 spaces for "oversize" vehicles, but even a pickup is going to count as oversize. Nothing larger than a mid size car has a chance in that garage. No real facilities here, but everything you need is nearby.

Perfect location, but drawbacks to service and some rooms. One block off the main street, this hotel location is really ideal. The views away from town are delightful. Folders K-Cups in the rooms aren't inspirational if you are picky on coffee, but J5 coffee is one block down and makes a fantastic beverage. The evenings were rough. There is no onsite staff at night, and they've had issues with the after-hours line delivering messages quickly and accurate. There is also a very loud weekend evening crowd at Duck & Drake across the street. The windows are not sound proof, so it was quite disruptive. There's no hot tub. It seems the former property owner had a hot tub, but VI removed it with the renovation. There's an old website that is not accurate. Overall, not terrible. They have a lot of opportunities to be better — but Vacations International clearly doesn't prioritize this property.

The location is ideal since it has direct access to downtown. The rooms are cozy with a great view of the mountains. The room comes with a refrigerator and microwave but that was the extent of kitchen amenities. They do have a complimentary waffle bar in the mornings for guests which is nice.

Set in the extremely quaint downtown district of Leavenworth, the Blackbird itself is comfortable and welcoming. Our entire stay was truly relaxing and enjoyable.

The views are great — either over the river or downtown. At night during the Christmas season the lighted downtown street is gorgeous. People are great. Breakfast if mediocre but that isn't why I stay there.

I've previously stayed at Blackbird and had an amazing experience in their room with the in room jacuzzi unfortunately the 2 different types of rooms I was in this time did not have this feature. Overall the room was clean and presentable. We typically skip the breakfast as it is waffles and coffee, we look for more from the breakfast.

My wife and I stayed in Leavenworth for the night with our two little guys. The gal at the front desk was very friendly, which started our stay on the right foot. We got 2 rooms, 102 and 301. Room 102 was a little bit nicer (though the decor in both rooms was a bit nicer than I had anticipated). Room 301 was (I guess) close to the elevator so You can hear the elevator go up and down, which was somewhat annoying! Also, there was somewhat of a smell when we first went in to 301 (kinda smelled a bit like someone had to much alcohol the day before — but the smell died down quickly). Overall, the rooms were very clean. The decor of the hotel was nice — definitely not outdated. Breakfast was small, but nice… (almost) homemade style Waffles with your add-ons and drinks. We really enjoyed our stay and I am very certain we will stay again. Thanks!

The Blackbird Lodge was a great place to stay, the staff was VERY friendly. The rooms were clean, great view, QUIET, and just a overall great experience. WONDERFUL LOCATION you are in walking distance of everything.
