Horrible experience. I had booked a room with a spa tub through booking. Com I arrived at 4:10pm my reservation at 3. The lady takes my payment then says there’s no be of those rooms available. Then she said someone broke a mirror in a spa tub room so they were short one. She was on the phone with management of some sort and told them well this party laid with cash and didn’t put it in the system. She then proceeded to call the Ramada down the street and said we could go there they would have a room available with a spa tub. This was so we didn’t have to deal with a refund and paying again. We get to the Ramada 5 minutes down the road and they did not have one available. At the Ramada they then proceeded to tell me that it was booking. Com’s fault. How the heck was it their fault when the other lady kept coming up with new excuses. So I then called booking. Com and they called the red lion to process my refund and apologized for what these two hotels did. Another complaint the receptionist was not wear a mask at the red lion.

The staff was/is amazing and very accommodating. We had to stay longer then planned and they were so easy to work with. The rooms were nice and the food pretty good. I would definitly come back and recommend staying here!

The room was dirty. The pool was too cold to swim.

This was a terrible experience! We had 24 high school athletes on a trip, and I was concerned for there Heath and safety here. The amount of drug use and prostitution going on in and around this location was terrible! We woke up at 3 am to police with guns pounding on all the rooms.
If you want a clean well run hotel, this is not your spot!

STAY AWAY! We had someone OPEN our door while we were sleeping! They had a KEY CARD! The only thing that kept them out was I had bolted it! Sink was clogged, towel rod falling off, we got ONE towel to share, NO COFFEE POT, disgusting dirty carpet. Large room. Uninterested staff. Parking spaces are so small I had to climb in the passenger door and I was between the lines! One TINY garbage and no one emptied it. No one cleaned our room the 3 days we were there. Terrible here, spend more $ and go somewhere safer and nicer!

Beware of the bed bugs and unmet special requests. Will never go back. I stayed for a day before a wedding. The whole bridal party rented out a few rooms. So many issues. First, the pull out bed in the bridesmaids room wouldn't retract back in. Second, there were no extra pillows and blankets. Third, the smell was funky. Fourth, AND MOST IMPORTANT, I was itching throughout the whole night! I thought it was a heat rash because I was getting hives. The next day I have round half inch red circular swells on both arms. Multiple. On my thighs too. I then found out that the girl who was sleeping next to me also got bites everywhere. It was definitely bed bugs. Another one of our friends made a special request to get the BEST SUITE for the newlyweds and to lay out rose petals in a design for them. The manager okayed it and she specifically said she would do it. My friend checked the room before the newlyweds came and nothing was decorated! The front desk called the manager and she said she forgot. WHAT! ALLL THIS TROUBLE AND THEY ONLY REFUNDED THE NEWLYWEDS THE COST OF A LATE CHECK OUT FEE! Update 6/7 I have discussed my complaint with the manager. They made sure to make a very detailed inspection in the room that we stayed in and refunded the newlyweds an additional cost of a one night's stay.

This place is defiantly a step up from a motel 6. It's a little outdated. But the room was clean and the receptionist was kind. However! Beware! There is a train that runs all through out the night. It is loud and will wake you up. If you're looking for a quite place to stay. This is not it. The breakfast was not very good. The sausage was clearly fake meat and the eggs tasted funny.

UPDATE FROM MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: Looks like the manager replied to my review asking me to call her to see if she can make it right. Funny, Danielle I spoke to you face to face before checking out that morning. You first asked me to give you a few minutes so you could complete an order you were working on. After explaining what had happened you told me to go ahead and get dressed and come back to see you to see if there was anything you could do. When I came back down to checkout you let the other girl check me out and you said "Have a good day! " You had nothing more to say. I will be calling you until you make something right! 7/25/18- We arrived an hour early for check in and were told we would be charged an extra $35 so we were fine with waiting to check in until later. We were in town for a baseball game and didn't get back to the hotel until a little after 11pm. We checked in and were given keys to a room on the third floor. When we attempted to open the door we found our keys wouldn't work. My husband went back downstairs to the front desk and as we were waiting we witnessed another gentleman attempt to open his room just a few doors down and noticed his key didn't work either but the door he was at the room was already occupied! We were given keys to a different room on the second level and when we tried the key it didn't work AGAIN!

Checked in on 7/27 for 6 nights stay. 1. Room smells horrible like moldy, probably from the water leak every time we flush the toilet we could see the water seeping up through the crack and grout. 2. AC does not work and we were told the maintenance man will fix it today 7/28. Guess what? No maintenance man working today because it is Saturday. Luckily my family is out for golf practice while I am here waiting for someone to fix the AC but never showed up! 3. We have stayed at Red Lion Hotels before and even booked for our parents to stay in Spokane. However this one is comparable to the horrible time that we stayed at Ramada Inn in Newburgh last month. Tournament next week, we don’t want any disruption to the little one otherwise we would find another place to stay! We should stick with what we know at least above average: Hampton Inn or Best Western Addendum: finally it got fixed at 3:00pm.

Run down hotel & manager call me a liar. How could you call me that when I actually stayed there & I have receipts to prove. This manager had the nerve, people won’t just post reviews. Your hotel is outdated & needs a big time fixing to do. Not worth the money for the rate. I did booked through Expedia & my work paid for it. I will never recommend your hotel, illegal activity late at night & noisy hotel. Upon checkout I saw your name tag & the name plate on the wall & you seem unconcerned & was not helpful at all. Fix your hotel & do your work rather then calling me a liar for not staying there. I stayed in June 13, look that up. Poor service.

I really like staying at this hotel. It is the only redlion hotel I stayed in and I see myself going back to it whenever I'm near Seattle. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and nice little indoor pool. The only thing that I can suggest is adding boiled eggs to the breakfast menu.

Not worth my money, I had problem checking in with my husband. The girl at the front desk seem doesn't know what she was doing, and was the new GM. She stated that she just started still learning the system & it was hard to find our reservations. We had to wait for an hour for it to show up. We were tired & just got back from a cruise. We got to the hotel around noon-sh at 2pm. The hotel DO NOT HAVE SHUTTLES, which is frustrating & reservations did show up an hour in half later. The night girl seem to be too busy on her phone, I came to ask for towels still on her phone had me wait. The rooms was not as clean as the pictures shown online. I will not come back here. This hotel is like a MOTEL setup & location is kinda fishy.

Customer service was nonexistent. Garbage all over parking lot Nasty carpets throughout. No coffee pot in room but had dirty cups. Torn and stained shower curtain. The no smoking rule doesn't seem to apply for weed. My kids kept asking about the smell. The worst part was the empty condom wrapper under the edge of the bed… then to find more further down to match the huge stain on the skirt of the bed.

Very nice. Good place to relax. Nice pool, and work out area. Front desk very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are nicely kept clean. Employees are very nice. The gym is kept in good condition along with the pool. Overall I recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Occasionally a train passes close by but we barely noticed. We will stay there again in the future.

Not a hit AT ALL. Staff was nice and breakfast was a decent option. Absolutely not worth the bed bugs we have picture evidence of though. My son's team stayed this weekend and at least 4 rooms had this issue. Bed bugs are digusting and the hotel ladies said it was ok because none were visible. News flash… Bed mites hide VERY well. As if the blood and fecal droppings weren't evidence enough. I have asked for a refund and told I needed to wait for corporate. So in the meantime — — don't stay if you want freedom from bed bug infestation.

We're in the king Executive Suite, they didn't have any Linens for the pull-out couch. The front desk lady could be a little bit more hospitable, she couldn't even crack a smile once. But the kids love the pool and are having a great time so that's all that matters ☺

The services were good the food not so bad and all this well the pool this half puqeña.

It's Red Lion, so you expect it to be something special, or at least good! Brown stuff alllll over the bathroom. Had to wash toilet before using. Stop if black in the bathtub. Beds not comfortable at all. No consistent doors open, sometimes they wouldn't open. Website said nothing about paying extra for pets. The breakfast was less than minimal, most things empty or half. Do NOT recommend.

Don't stay HERE! I was very suprised that this is a Red Lion, MORE like a Super 8! Nasty! Our headboard had a grease stain on it, all the furniture was chipped and scratched, the lamp shades were torn up and there was a large hairy clothed man who was washing his armpits in the hot tub! Needless to say I did not test out the pool or hot tub! I have posted pictures! There was a tweaker in the parking lot that was hanging around and kept staring at us, oddly enough we woke up to find our Mercedes had a scratch on it. Unfortunately we couldn't find any other dog friendly hotels with such short notice!

Before entering the hotel lobby, we we're met with tweekers who were trying to get us to let them use our cell phone. (Ah, No) Upon entering the lobby there were people (obviously not guests) laying on couches. Rugs and tables were unclean. The elevator smelled like urine. No coffee or tea for the guests in the rooms, which was at least cleaner than the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was another disappointment. The food and coffee were good. Other guests and families were friendly. It was again, the drugged out wonderers roaming freely, talking shady and coming in and out. For the money we spent to stay here, I'd rather sleep on the floor at the airport.

First room they gave me already had some one in it, second room, no tv. After a very long day I have no interest in moving to yet another room. So I'll just forgo the tv. They seem to be vert full which is probably why things are this way. They don't have to be good if they're busy.

Absolutely awful experience. Good luck trying to speak with a manager. Leave a message, they don't call you. Call back again and the manager is gone for 2 days. Very poor management help.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Hot tub and pool were great! Breakfast was awesome! Thank you, well definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is great and breakfast is better than most. I gave 3 stars only because when we arrived there was pubic hairs all over the bathroom, like it hadn't been cleaned. Every other part of the room, was clean and hotel, in general seemed clean but was a little disturbed by the bathroom in our room. Would still stay here again and recommend for family's with kids.

Nice staff, but that's about it. Unclean bathroom, hair in at least two places, floors in the room were not much better… keep your socks on. No in room coffee/tea… not that big of a deal, and front desk was willing to help. Lots of noise from other rooms, but we were in a jetted tub room. It was so loud it actually kept us from using it… not so our neighbors. Bed and pillows left a lot to be desired, but appeared clean. Nice 55" hdtv, with HDMI and other available external input options. Dated spot and rooms, and needed better cleaning, but ok overall.

This is a good all around hotel, nothing is spectacular but ok. They have a pool, hot tube, and breakfast. Rooms are clean and adequately up to date. The best thing about this hotel really is how close to the arena it is, only a short walk down a paved bike path.

Worst service, horrible management. Room had hand prints on the bedframe from guest that stayed before. Very impatient at the front desk. Charged me double and still hasn't been fixed. I would find another hotel if I were you.

The photo of this Hotel looks like it's newly renovated. The outside looks very nice but from the inside it's very old and the remodeling that they did was poorly done. Our sheets dingy our bathroom was not even cleaned. The bathtub had dirty footprints from the last person who utilized that room. Also the area is sketchy and there are prostitutes running in and out the hotel. Definitely not returning.

Stayed for a week and can't say enough good things about this hotel. Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. We had the executive queen suite, it was lovely, very clean and the beds were so comfy. Can't beat this place for the price… will definitely be staying here again. The pool and hot tub were great, not many rooms in this location so we usually had the pool/hot tub to ourselves ;)

Had a nice stay here. I love the indoor pool thats open year round and the breakfast was better than most. The staff was all pleasant and the room was nice except for a lingering smell of cigarettes from the previous guest. Gross!

Disappointed in our "executive suite". We check in. Get to room. Filthy. Hasn't been touched. Back down to front desk. Ok, we'll give you a different room they are almost done cleaning. Wait 1/2 hour. Finally get room. Fridge is filthy. Dirty plastic silverware in it. No towels. Grape sprigs on counter. Make em come in & finish cleaning. After that. Go to get ice in ice bucket. Ask if ice machine on our floor. No. Why don't you have plastic in your ice bucket? Because you guys didn't give us any. Go back to desk & tell them about all this & all I hear is. I'm sorry. Nope, don't see myself checking into this place again. Wow, I assumed RL had higher standards.

Absolutely disgusted in the place! Called to confirm such a good price, got there and it tripled. So we stayed one night instead of two. Through out the day and night the lady next door had about 10 guys come in and out she, was a prostitute to say the least. Drug deals every 5 min in the back parking lot guy rolls up guy walks up guy leaves. My gf couldn't even go outside without getting offered money for sex by two different guys through out the night. She talked to one of the working girls and she informed her that the police were in on it as well as the manager and the staff. We complained in the morning to the manager and all she said was too bad should have stayed some where else, they paid for there rooms they can do what they want. When we asked for a corporate number the manager said you should mind your own business if you knew what was good for you! Then when we left she was taking pictures of us loading up our car. This place is the Bates motel in real life. Stay away if you have a family. Or don't want aids.

Its been a great atmosphere ever since I been staying here. The feeling of Camaraderie instill by the workers makes me want to stay there evertime I visit. The service is great, the workers are friendly and shows professional performances through there working time. I would highly recommand this place for everyone to stay in when visiting.

Really undervalued! The rooms were comfortable, the location great, the staff very friendly and helpful. This is a great choice near the airport.

I visited the hotel as I had family in town. The room was nice and the amenities fairly standard, and as shown on the site. We used the pool and the hot tub. Both were clean and appeared to be well maintained. The hotel was convenient enough for my family since they had a rental car, however it is not located near much in the way of food or attractions, at least within walking distance. Much cheaper than staying in Seattle proper.

A great stay! The moment we got our room, the kids hit the pool and Jacuzzi. There is a good selection of restaurants near by. Though you do need to drive to them. There is also a convenient gas and market next door. The kids were able to enjoy watching some Nickelodeon while eating their teriyaki. The beds are comfortable and the room is nicely displayed. We enjoyed the pump containers for the soap and shampoo. Very nice when you have 4 kids. The complementary breakfast was good. A neat lion waffle maker, as well as juices, coffee and an assortment of foods. And though we didn't use it, there is a nice gym. There is also a small convenient store in the lobby.

Our stay at the Red Lion was a first for us with this franchise as we don't have this hotel in San Diego County, and what an excellent experience. It was a vacation for my daughter and I. We stayed back in March 2017 for a few days. The hotel itself was very clean and the front desk agent Esther was very pleasant during our entire stay she handled our reservations timely and was very pleasant in assisting us in what we needed during our stay. She also informed us of all the things we can see and do while we were visiting making it easier for us to enjoy our time away and not getting lost. I will be returning to WA and this will be where we will stay again. I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone visiting the area. This Hotel provides a clean and friendly environment most definitely provide excellent Customer Service.

Breakfast was GREAT. Room was always clean and the facility overall is well kept. Made our stay in Seattle great.

My main complaint was that the woman at the night desk told me she'd have a taxi waiting for me at 4:30 am (this was the night before). My whole reason for choosing this hotel was that it was reasonably priced and somewhat near the airport. I woke up super early, came down to the lobby, and at 4:30 there was nothing. Once I realized nobody was coming I had the desk person get me another taxi. Also the woman told me that a taxi from the hotel to the airport would be "less than $20. " Nope, closer to $40. Tip to guests: don't rely on the front desk if you have a sensitive budget or schedule like me. The room and amenities were what I'd expect at this price range. The availability of food within walking distance of the hotel is disappointing but there are a few places you can get to.

Room was clean. Excellent customer service. Actually met people staying next to me abd they were nice too. Kinda of hidden so make sure you have GPS.

Beds were firm but pillows were soft. Breakfast was mediocre. Overall not bad but not good.

What a joke! I booked thru expedia and they didnt have the room that I booked and the front girl said they dont guarantee 3rd party bookings! R u kidding me? Then she said she's the only one working and no manager on a Friday and the lobby is full of people… Wow! What's wrong with this picture? Oh and I booked with credit card guarantee 2 weeks ago! Come on people!

I stayed with a group of friends for one night. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and just what we needed. I would suggest it for anyone.

Far from red lion standards. Dirty/stained room. "Junior suite" is a joke. Just a ragged half couch divided by a half wall. Horrendous bathroom and disgusting old toilet. Shower had stains all along the tub and a nasty plastic shower curtain. They boast about their Simmons bed; granted it is a Beautyrest BUT it's an old, creaky, flat and uncomfortable one. Furniture is not taken care of. Tv is fuzzy and not many good channels. Frightening looking hallway. Extremely loud train. Overall felt like we were in a horror film.

Pretty good hotel just wished they free breakfast if you want go to comfort inn also in Kent if u want that as well.

Nice hotel with a good breakfast. Their gym closes early though. They are close to a lot of food. We were just passing through and it suites our needs. Nice and clean as well.

Very nice. Workout room open 24hr. Pool and hot tub open untill midnight. Breakfast has the usual plus bacon.

From Seattle to Oregon I have always been 100% satisfied with The Red Lion services. Always clean and very polite. I am a happy camper.

Wonderful hotel. Great breakfast and amazing customer service.

A very loud train goes blistering by, blasting its horn, and it is LOUD. You can hear people talking through all the walls. If they're in the hallway, they may as well be standing right by the bed, it's so loud. And perhaps worst of all, the bathroom was filthy. I found a dirty wash rag in the shower and a shower bench with hair on it when I went to use it for the first time, so I didn't use it. Update: I discovered after midnight the train only honks lightly, so I gave it another star since I was actually able to sleep. The staff are friendly and the bed mattresses are comfortable. Loud train and dirty bathroom, still just one star.

The room kind of smelled but other than that it was a great stay.

Overall the hotel was a good value, and an okay stay. Great hot breakfast. Included eggs, sausage, waffles and more. The strong complementary drinks from the bar were also very welcome after a long day. Finally, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Unfortunately the pool was open, but had some strange lint floating everywhere. The hot tub also needed repair with many chips in it. Also, the room was not perfectly clean and had several dents and dings needing repairs. The receptionists were very nice and helpful. It was also a pet friendly hotel, which was great since we had our dog with us. The room we stayed in also did not smell like there had been animals in it, which is a big plus.

Good for the price. Not quite as nice as the pictures but they had good ammenities like free parking, complimentary breakfast, swimming pool etc. Not too far from the SeaTac airport. Paid about $85 a night while the other decent hotels were going for $130-$209 per night.

Had a great one night stay. Room was fresh with modern upgraded furniture. Check in and check out was fast, which was really important for me on a business trip. And free quality breakfast is always good.

Terrible service and rude staff! Dirty rooms and gross sheets! When I went to bed, I couldn't even sleep since it was so noisy! Never will stay again! If you want a good place to stay, I would suggest anywhere but here.

Nice hotel. Employees were great. However pool was shallow. At the deepest it only went up to my chest on my 5'11" frame.

We stayed here during a business trip. The moment we arrived we were greater with a fabulous ambiance and professional FIVE STAT service. Will return.

Overall my stay here was pleasant. Rooms were modern and clean. Staff was friendly. They had a pool, a fitness center, hot tub, and sauna. Only complaint is that trains drive by at night or early in the morning and it can get loud.

What a great place and good price-yes I heard a train our two, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nice and like the free drink tickets. I will stay here again.

Nice new hotel in kent. I stayed 4 nights while in town on business. Very modern rooms and I enjoyed the 37 inch HD.
