First time we were here, but we were made to feel as welcome as an old friend. Checked in with my sister and parents after six pm on our way to South Carolina. Our reservation, made and paid directly with a 3rd party provider had not been pushed through to the hotel and they had no record of us booking. The Manager stepped in and took the details and did all the investigation while ensuring the front desk staff checked us in at the quoted price. While we got settled and went to the bar to eat, she popped in to help with the supper rush, confirmed it was all straightened out and problem solved. We were thankful not to have been left to sort this out ourselves after a long day of driving. To top it off, the rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and food good. Breakfast next day was a buffet with all you could want to get you on the road, hot coffee, scrambled eggs, fresh biscuits, fruit and make your own waffles. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We made reservations very late in the way there. Everything in the area was booked and our family got the last two rooms. I was annoyed when we arrived and were told by the young man (he was 19 and working later than scheduled as night shift hadn't shown) at the desk he wouldn't receive our info for about an hour. It wasn't his fault. I wasn't as nice as I should have been. We were all sleepy and wanted a place to crash. He was super polite amongst our grumbling and all ended up well. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Slept really well!

Super nice staff caring for clean older facility. This is our second visit and we will visit again when need be. We're smokers and there are few places left that allow rooms where we can. Yet if we should overcome our nasty addiction then we're good to stay in the non smoking rooms. The pool looks inviting even if we're out of time to try and enjoy. The updates to the rooms are nice. Knowing it's clean without bugs is a great assurance. My husband loves the shower message and finding a bed that offers decent sleep, for back pain sufferers, is a challenge this hotel meets well. Great place. Comfortable beds. Pool was a little cold but the breakfast made up for that. Was easy to get into and food availability around it was decent.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were super cheap. The rooms were smelly and uncomfortable. We did not turn on the heated because it made the room sink even more. Good news though, we didn't bring home any bed bugs. You get what you pay for.

The staff was friendly and pleasant. The room was clean beds were comfortable. The lady that runs the breakfast makes sure everyone has enough to eat, the breakfast was more then enough plenty of hot food. Thank you for a pleasant stay, we are return guest.

Gentleman with the long hair at the front desk was a pleasure to talk to. Sure this isn’t the best hotel but my main complaint is the sheets. They were riddled with stains. Brown, yellow, and off white. It was very off-putting considering both of the beds in my room had stained sheets.

I received the expected service I always get at the remada. They offered us whatever we needed (within reason). Very nice rooms. Didn't smell like smoke. Quite which I like.

The price was right, complimentry breakfast, clean rooms, and very friendly staff. Did I mention accommodating also. Good place to rest.

The stay was pleasant. It's a bit dated, and it shows, but the room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient to I-77 (not as much to I-88). Well worth the savings!

Good location. Next to truck stop diner. Hotel was a bit dated and worn out. It was clean and a welcome have in a snow storm.

Very convenient to interstate on ramp, clean comfortable room, reasonably priced (lowest price of several motels ar the same interstate exit), good free breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

This room was the dirtiest room I've ever experienced. We stopped overnight from our drive to rest up to head home. I can't speak for every housekeeper but who ever did this one was a lazy pig. There were pubs in the sink and tub. The floors were disgusting. The shower head had a ton of scum on it. The mirror was gross. There was something that looked like poop on the iron holder. It reeked of B. O. This room was also outdated. The pillows were flat and bumpy. The bed was so old, I woke with major back pain. On the plus side the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. But the cleanliness of the room is so important to me as I travel with my 18 month old grandson. I myself was a house keeper. And this room would have never made it past inspection. Would not recommend. Please look at this room. It was number. 175

It was okay. Clean and bug free (believe me, I searched). Pleasant staff and very helpful.

At first glance it was less than impressive, I didn't want to stay. But… it was clean, very roomy, large tv, close to food, comfortable beds, and a full hot breakfast with a kind worker keeping everything full. Coffee wasn't worth drinking IMHO.

Cheap rooms. Do not come here expecting the grandiose of other Ramadas. It is simple and small. Guy that checked us in was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast is ok. Could definitely use some renovations. But for the price I can't really complain.

If all you are looking for is a bed for overnight you can usually get a good deal here. Rooms badly need refreshing, and sheets renewed. But quiet and beds comfortable.

Ran into car troubles when traveling to S. Carolina, we coasted off the highway exit and into the Ramada. Booked a room online before going in. It was just me and 3 of my teenage children, staff couldn’t have been nicer. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome, nice selection and dining room. Checkout was at 11am, but we had to stay over about an hour waiting on a rental car and the front desk staff (possibly husband/wife? ) were amazing. The woman saw I was outnumbered by grumpy teenagers and gave us a few bags of crackers for the road. It’s those little things that make such a huge difference on someone’s day, they both really helped out with my situation (&sanity! ).

Much nicer than we'd expected given the price. Very clean and no complaints. Friendly staff and we all left full and happy. Great place to stay!

Over fairly good. For what you're paying it's fairly nice. All of these people posting, expecting a $80 hotel for $50. Be realistic. For the price I really can't complain. Owners/attendents are friendly. Room was fine, mildly outdated but that's okay, it was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast is good and is probably better than most comparable places. They have a bar/restaurant, which unfortunately closed 10pm before I arrived. Wish it was open later. Room doors open to the outside similar to a motel. I didn't mind this since it gave me quick access to my car when arriving and packing up. Would recommend it!

I wish I could be more forgiving of this place, but I cannot. I did get a good deal on this place because of online booking through Hotwire which assigns you a hotel once you pay. That's fine normally. But when I got there with my girlfriend, our room smelled of cigarette smoke. There were no "no smoking" signs in the room so I'm not sure if it's supposed to allow smoking, but when I mentioned it to the receptionist the next morning, she said it was a "no smoking" room. There was a plastic bag taped around the smoke detector (I guess so the previous guest could smoke) but the hotel didn't notice it and take it down. Made it feel a little trashy. Also, the shower head in the bathroom was stuck to a single strong jet of "massage" and we couldn't get it back to a spray, so that was weird too. We didn't try to change rooms because we were so tired we just wanted to sleep and not deal with it. So be weary if you stay here.

Everything you expect for a $53/night room and a little more. The beds were comfortable, the parking lot was safe, the exteriors doors to the rooms were convenient for loading and unloading luggage, and they offer continental breakfast. Reception staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area (food, fuel fill up, etc). Could improve on cleanliness; showers/soap dishes needed some good scrubbing.

Amazing hotel with an unbeatable price! The rooms are clean and quite. The continental breakfast was delicious. They even have a nice bar and restaurant conveniently located in the hotel! The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and made sure we had a pleasant stay. We will definitely be stopping back by!

We arrived around 11:00 p. M. After a long 7-8 hour car ride. There was one woman working behind the front desk and multiple people trying to check in at the same time. Needless to say the check in process was not my favorite part of this hotel. I was the second person in line and it probably took me 25 minutes to get my hotel key. Please be advised they do not have an elevator at this hotel, so if you have mobility issues you may want to look elsewhere. The main reason we chose this particular hotel is because they accept pets, and that is a big deciding factor as we are usually travelling with our Husky. Breakfast in the morning offered a variety of options however it was extremely crowded when we arrived. The way they have a long counter island arranged in the breakfast area making it a long narrow isle in between the island counter and counter situated up against the wall. It's just extremely difficult to navigate through when there are so many people filling up this area. Overall, not a terrible hotel but I think I'd choose another in the area if we weren't travelling with our dog.

Very nice place to stay while traveling. It is located next to I-81, but not an off ramp. You need to drive a mile around. The restaurant and bar just opened 5 days ago and will need some time to get better organized but the people running it are very nice. Still found it worthy of a stay for a good price.

It was pet friendly, a reasonable rate. The room was your typical hotel room. We were looking for a place to sleep while on our way up to New York. It had an awesome shower head.

Room was clean and pleasant. I did feel the bathroom was a bit tight though. The breakfast and pool was also a nice. My husband really appreciated the biscuits and gravy. The ice machines were out at the vending locations and we had to go to quite a distance from our room which was an inconvenience. Overall we had a nice stay. The staff was very nice and friendly as well.

Perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast was above average for a hotel. I can recommend this establishment to anyone who needs a place to stay for a moderate price.

Reasonably priced very clean rooms friendly staff very nice place to stay.

The housekeeper was so helpful for my children and I. We got to the room during a very bad windstorm and found out the key wasn't working. I would have had to take all of our belongings back to the car and buckle them in their car seats and drive back to the office as they are not old enough to be left alone. He took the key for me and got it fixed and quickly returned with it. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was much better than I expected for the price of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast was wonderful and the room clean. Unfortunately, if you need to speak with a manager, good luck. I was charged for three rooms instead of two and haven't been able to get it resolved through direct contact with the woman who manages this location. Also, if you're looking for fast internet, don't come here.

Front desk person very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was very clean and comfortable. Is a great place to stop to get off the road for a rest.

I've stayed here 3 different times for a single night as part of a road trip. Keep in mind this is a 2-star motel. It is an inexpensive, good place to stop for the night. If you just want a decent, clean place to get off the road for the night… this is a good choice On the other hand, if you like fancy stuff… just pay a little more for another hotel.

Worst experience at a hotel. The website said the pet would have her own pet bed and treats in the room, there were neither. We called the front desk to have a wake up call and they never called. We were running late all day. Luckily we read the reviews about the bad breakfast and didn't have to deal with that disappointment.

Fours stars given with the understanding that you are staying at a 2 star motel. Clean and quiet.

Only stay here if you can't find another hotel! The room was so so, not really clean and the hot breakfast is a joke! And the kitchen staff is very rude.

I have had the worst experience from this hotel than any other hotels I have ever used. The picture on their website doesn't show you the "zoomed in" version of the room. (King room). The absolutely worst management I have ever seen and the customer service was horrible. This is the very first review I have ever in my life written on any establishment but I am furious with this hotel. The toilet hadn't been flushed from the last occupant, the cushion in one of the chairs was busted on the bottom side, the rate that was charged was doubled because it was an event week 75 miles away (Bristol Motor Speedway). This room wasn't worth the money that we paid but we paid anyway because it was cheaper than going into Bristol. I am currently having my bank investigate a charge on my credit card from this hotel that is definately invalid and the hotel won't budge. POOR, POOR, POOR customer service and again, I am not one to complain but this hotel almost ruined our vacation and I've never had a problem with booking, rates or any other customer service in any other hotel, motel and I am very fed up with this hotel. Also, I was bitten by something on my left leg on three places while I was in the bed. Just not up to Ramada's standards from the others I have stayed at. I will NEVER stay here again and I don't advise anyone else to either! 11.

So I'm laying in bed and suddenly I hear really loud music and bass. It literary sounds like a concert next store. So I call the front desk to see. The front desk informs me there is a concert and it's at the hotel banquet hall. They should be wrapping up in an hour. Are you kidding me? Why would you do that to your customers? The whole point of a hotel is to sleep.

We stopped late at night and the rate was good but the room was so dirty we had to ask for another one and it wasnt much better. Very disappointed in this Ramada.
