We stayed three nights and visited Colonial Williamsburg. We had exceptional service from the staff, especially Yolanda, who went out of her way to accommodate our needs as we also visited with family who stayed here. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, the rooms and surroundings exceptionally clean. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this was very close to all Williamsburg attractions and some restaurants and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub although I did not use them. The front desk was friendly. The breakfast staff was nice and kept food fresh and filled and area clean, even with a busy breakfast rush.

The stay was wonderful. Nice clean rooms, staff were kind and helpful. The location was perfect we were close to everything.

Rooms are the normal Hampton Inn rooms, clean and comfortable. Lobby has been recently updated and is very welcoming. Pool is extremely clean and sparkling (they were actually refilling after a thorough cleaning). Location is great.

As with most (not all, but certainly the vast majority), this Hampton is a solid stay for us. We've vacationed in Williamsburg 4 times in the past 3 years and have stayed here each time. Extremely courteous staff, clean/comfy rooms, quiet surrounding's. The free breakfast it's definitely a plus if — like me — you just want some quick fuel before heading out for the day. Shockingly good coffee, too.

Booked through Trivago, but the dates got messed up. Showed up expecting to have reserved the room only to find out that the reservations was for a date 2 weeks away. Though the reservation 2 weeks away for the same hotel, they wouldn't change it. I was forced to book the room for more than I paid. I was referred to the manager who I was told could fix it, but whose customer skills are beyond bad. I'm still trying to get the messed up reservations squared away with no help from this hotel who will be getting the money from Hilton, but refuse help me. Breakfast was awful. The coffee was passable.

It was good. Clean, guests in neighboring rooms were quiet. Free breakfast brunch every morning is always good as well. This Hampton Inn is a little older, therefore has some areas where it is noticeably run down. For instance, the carpet was torn in our original room. However, the staff were kind enough to allow us to transfer to a new room. This hotel also has an indoor pool and hot tub. So far I have been to this Hampton Inn twice staying 3 nights consecutively each visit and enjoyed it each time. Would post pictures but I'm not currently on location.

Great facilities and friendly helpful staff. Great for the family and well priced. Continental breakfast was great value… free.

Very clean, great breakfast always had fresh hot coffee/tea available. Rooms were very nice.

Outstanding. Rooms where clean and big. Parking was free, breakfast was nice, and employees friendly. Would return and highly suggest this place.

Had a short stay recently but the service was excellent. The continental breakfast was all that you'd come to expect from a free meal but still tasty. The entire place was quiet and relaxed. Overall good stay and good placement near town.

Been here for a few hours Michelle at the front desk is amazing. Friendly and when our rooms heat was acting all crazy she responded fast switches our room and even called to make sure all was ok. Room was clean hotel is clean also!

Very clean and enjoyable stay. This was our 3rd different place to stay in Williamsburg and I know we will return when we come back. Marginally more expensive than the other places we've used, but exponentially better room, experience and cleanliness. 24x7 coffe/tea/hot chocolate bar is an awesome touch. I am particular with my shower experience and the shower was nice and very clean. This site is really close to Busch Gardens; about a 7 minute drive. My only gripe involves the fact that my cell phone had zero reception inside the facility. Fortunately my phone has Wi-Fi calling that I enabled. Maybe the building is built like a tank or Sprint coverage stinks. As soon as I went outside, I was fine.

Great staff friendly and helpful people. The beds were firm and comfortable if you like a firm mattress. The bathroom was your normal hotel small bathroom. The warm breakfast was enjoyable with a mixture of make your own waffle, toast, bagels, to pre-made muffins/pastries, cold cereal, oatmeal, pre-made omelets and sausage. Then there was milk, coffee, hot water for cocoa or tea, juice (orange and apple). The drive to the local historical sites and shopping was short (five minutes).

Great room. Hot tub and heated pool open till 11! Fruit, eggs, and waffles free breakfast. No complaints.

The hotel is lovely. It is located close to Colonial Williamsburg. Our se kind floor room is clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. There is a "kitchen area" with mini-fridge, coffee pot, sink, and microwave. The breakfasts are included. The choices are many and each one is very tasty. We are very happy that we chose this hotel for our vacation. We will definitely come here again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, pool, jacuzzi, and a business center. Close to food and attractions. Included breakfast is pretty standard, nothing overwhelming about it. Overall a good experience.

The hot tub and pool were relaxing. The bed was comfortable, but the air conditioning unit overheated in the middle of the night and they had no more rooms to offer. The toilet did not work, which caused the unpleasant experience to use the lobby washroom. The front desk staff and breakfast bar staff were exceptional and did their best with what they had to work with at this property. It felt like the owner's did not acknowledge Hilton Honors Members and for the owner's lack of caring I will not be returning to this property.

Hampton Inn is our favorite place to stay wherever we travel. Our stay here was lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean, as was the pool and hot tub. My only 2 complaints were, that the beds (the biggest reason we stay at Hampton Inn) did not feel like the usual, thick pillow-top Hampton bed. The douvet and comforter was the same, but the actual beds just felt like regular hotel beds. Second, the fitness center. While the equipment was state of the art, well maintained and clean, there was no temperature control or fans. It got very hot and stuffy fast. All in all, we're always happy to stay at Hampton Inn, I'm disappointed that our beds weren't "sink into the mattress and disappear" soft.

We found this Hampton Inn very clean, and the staff was very courteous and attentive. Coffee was available in the lobby at all times in addition to coffee maker in the room. A well filled breakfast buffet was free in the mornings, with fresh fruit, eggs, waffles, meat, cereal and more. Dining area was clean at all times. I give it 5 stars. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

This place hasn't existed long enough to have worn carpets! That reviewer was clearly thinking of a different place. 2) Very nice, smallish hotel that is a good bargain. About a mile off the beaten path (refreshing not to be amidst all the traffic and noise where most other Williamsburg hotels are located), but super-close to everything without the tourist congestion of Richmond Road. I travel to Williamsburg a few times a year and this is now my favorite place to stay for a night or two. King bed "suite" is basically a huge room with sitting area to one end and bed on the other. Would be fantastic for family needing space for a small child or two to move about or have "play pens" set up.

Great staff and service with nice staff. Clean room. Only concern is they only had one trash can for the room. Otherwise great hotel. :-)

Hampton Inn is a constan of mine. The rooms are always clean and this hotel was no exception. The employees were very nice, helpful, and treated me with appreciation.

Terrible rooms, very dirty, smears on everything, old raggedy carpeting, poor lighting, poor a/c. I would recommend finding a different hotel. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth, the water stunk and tasted horrible! We had walk around our room in flip flops. This is on our never to ever stay at again list!

The room was so comfortable, quiet and clean. The shower had the greatest water pressure and room was updated nicely. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and maps for the area. Great breakfast choices and the coffee was delicious. I'd give it over 5 stars if I could!

Me and my husband felt welcomed by staff from the minute we entered the hotel. The room was very clean and it was convenient to have our own mini fridge and microwave area. Breakfast and amenities were above and beyond for the inexpensive price of the room. Also, the hotel was only minutes away from local restaurants and attractions. Will definitely stay again!

The stay was great, complementary breakfast made things easy and proximity to Buschs garden makes it a great place to stay. Air conditioning was an issue though.

Breakfast was good. We had 2 suites one with trash left under the dust ruffle of the bed. Lacking in customer service; when the backroom light went out for the last 2 days we and the children had to shower and use the toilet in the dark. Front desk said "we sent someone up but they didn't have a ladder and couldn't reach". Tv picture quality fuzzy and most channels didn't come in at all.

We appreciated the ability to select our room in advance of our check-in. Overall accommodations were nice and decent. Only items we weren't overly impressed with, were loose floor tiles in the bathroom, the blackout curtains didn't fully close, and we found the breakfast to be lackluster compared to prior stays. However, overall, would stay again.

Friendly check in and assistance even with a late check in time. The suite was exactly as advertised and in top condition. Exactly the experience expected from Hampton Inn and why we keep coming back (not to mention the beds were more comfortable then ours at home).

Typical Hampton Inn stay. We had great service, our room was clean, the pool was fun. We'll continue to use Hampton Inn for our stays.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good price. Housekeeper tried to get in my room at 9 am which was a bit early in my opinion, she wouldn't stop jiggling the door handle for a long time. I finally had to open the door to correct her. Breakfast was lack luster but not terrible. No room service.

The entire staff is goes to their ultimate to accommodate your every need. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained. We stay here on every occasion that we have to visit Williamsburg, Virginia.

Staying at this hampton inn is like going to your second home. This is my wife and I's second stay at this hotel and with us holding annual passes to busch gardens I know we will be staying here many many more times. The staff of this hampton will go out of their way to make you feel like you are at a 4 ☆☆☆☆ luxury suite Hotel. The hot breakfast in the mornings is really good and the women running the breakfast area are very sweet and caring.

So. If anyone is venturing down to Williamsburg this or any other summer I suggest you avoid Hampton Inn and Suites on. Capital Landing Road. A/C's don't work right, continental breakfast is awful and the staff is so rude! The fresh blood on the towel housekeeping left us really topped the list. There are so many hotels to choose from around here that you'd think they'd try harder to be worth choosing.

My family and I spent three days here in February and, though major renovations were going on to the lobby, the stay was great. Check-in was lightning fast, the pool and workout room were nice, and while the breakfast food was standard fare, the people attending to it went out of their way to be lovely. The price was also fantastic. We did the Internet, no refund rate and it saved us a lot of money. Proximity to Colonial Willamsburg's visitor center was great and made it almost too easy to go back and forth.

Just returned from a nice stay prior to labor day. Room was clean and enough space for 5. Breakfast included hot food daily as well as pastries, bagels, and muffins. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Used both the pool and hot tub with no issues. Wirelsss internet access and hot coffee 27 hrs a day was appreciated. Hotel is in a nice quite area and we felt no concern for our vehicle or its contents. Very quiet.
