My husband and I just spent 3 nites at this beautiful Resort, The property is Gorgeous. It’s so quiet and tucked away. Just my kinda weekend. If you are looking for quiet and beautiful scenery.

Great for families. The rooms were spacious and nice. The ac couldn't be turned lower than 72 and it was the summer time so I was hot the entire time. About 20 mins from most things to do.

The staff was nice Amber explained everything. And when there was maintenance to be done for the room it was done quickly. The Ghost Tour they offered was cool and fun to participate in. Over all a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

The suites are nice with porches that open onto well kept grounds. We spent some time at the pool and rec. Center which was fun and busy. Everyone seemed to be having as good a time as we were. Fairly convenient location close to attractions and eateries.

We would give this resort a 3 out of 5. We stayed with friends for two nights and the place was very accommodating, spacious and comfy. It has a fully equipped kitchen, large restrooms, and somewhat updated AC system. Our only concern would've been the mandatory two hour sales pitch you are forced to attend about purchasing a time share. They will charge you $20 regardless of whether you attend it, on your vacation time. They offer various "promotions" and "deals" if you attend but only if you commit to purchasing a vacation package. We got our $20 back but only after expressing extreme disinterest and asking not to be charged. Overall, we would come back, but mainly for the accommodations, and surrounding area.

We had a fantastic stay. Really enjoyed the condo. Great space for us to stretch out. Guest services was very responsive to our request for maintenance for a dripping faucet, damp carpet and a coffee maker that wouldn't brew. We called and 5 minutes later they were there correcting the problem. The complex is close to lots of food and shopping. Perfect place to stay. We'll definitely be back again!

Awesome resort! We had a blast everything is kid friendly. Us adults were able to have a blast while or children also did. Set up is awesome and we sure will be back soon!

We really enjoyed staying here the room was nice and met our needs. The indoor pool was not available due to maintenance but the outdoor pool was fine. It's just that this being a resort they only have the two pools on the entire property. I certainly would stay here again.

Beautiful resort but horrible customer service, no disclaimer about the indoor being closed for maintenance until you checked in. Sister resort allowed use of indoor but were given wrong directions to get there and when we did find it it was closed because of impending thrunderstorm? Something I never heard of before. Concierge said something unsavory to the couple before us which made me question staying there. There was garbage in the bushes by our front door, broken blinds in the other room and a shower door that didn't work well. I think the holiday inn or even a comfort inn would of been a better choice because I have had better service and amenities at those places. Don't let the price fool you.

It was the most relaxing two-night stay I've had in years. If you've been working like crazy for months and you finally get a chance to get away for a few days, you would do well to end up here. There's a pool, a basketball court, and a miniature golf course AT LEAST. I spent a lot of time relaxing (in a Jacuzzi?! ) because I was tired that weekend, but there were interesting things around town when we went out, too. Very comfortable beds, plenty of room in plenty of rooms, and all the dishes and kitchen appliances, dishes, and silverware you'd realistically need during a vacation. The front door can make a little noise because of the air pressure change/suction in the hallway and sometimes the water pressure in the shower is a little high, but not enough to take away from the pleasant experience.

Rooms are beautiful! So much room to spread out. Kitchen is large but missing pans and utensils needed for a meal. We will definitely come back.

Very nice. Each condo has a large master bedroom and bath, another bedroom with two beds, another bathroom, a kitchen, a dinette, a decent size living room and a small porch or deck out back. Bathrooms could use a little upgrading, but overall we were all very satisfied. 12 of us stayed in one building which contained 6 of the condos described above.

Greatest vacation ever! Spacious for a family of 6! My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and activities they had to offer! The convince of being able to cook, do laundry and enjoy my family was a true blessing!

I cannot say enough about this great place! I just returned from a school trip and Greensprings was the perfect place for all 35 of us. They not only made room for us, they put us all in the same building, and gave us a great deal. The rooms were so spacious and comfortable. Loved the pools, but the staff was the best part. They were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I’ll be honest I had read some bad reviews about the place so I went there with low expectations but I was really pleasantly surprised! They did corral you right at check in to give you free coffee in a ploy to get your info for a “drawing” but that was probably the worst part of it. Otherwise the rooms were clean and new and spacious. Every cabinet and drawer was wide open when we first got there which felt a little horror movie-ish but we just went around and closed everything. Every dish and pot/pan was also laying out on all the counters. It felt like we had come in mid cleaning? But no one ever came back to tidy up so we just put everything away. We couldn’t seem to figure out how to work the fire place which would have been nice since it was chilly the weekend we were there. Other then all that it felt safe with security in the front. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The pools/hottubs were nice only wish it stayed open a little later. We asked for a later check out and they did accommodate us and give us an extra hour. All in all I would highly recommend this place and we are already planning our trip back.

The rooms were clean and very spacious. We had the 2 bedroom standard so we could have the garden tub. It was a good size, but was disappointed it did not have any jets. To get to the indoor pool with the jetted whirlpool and sauna, you had to walk out of your unit to the outside and walk to the activities bldg. This place is a resort setting, not a hotel setting where the indoor pool is within your Bldg. We did request a room closest to our bldg. They have complimentary miniature golf which was outdoors. At check in be aware they will send you to the other side of the room where a sales person will give you a welcome packet and then go in for the time share tour opportunity to be granted free stuff and trips. We passed on that bc we just wanted, to relax and not be bothered. However the, morning of check out we got a call from the front desk encouraging us to participate in the time share presentation. I respectfully declined the offer, however she still continued to explain the opportunity, which I had to cut her off and tell her again I respectfully Declined. The outdoor pool and bar looked very nice, however was closed for the season.

Everything was great! The pool was nasty nothing but hair inside and out, very cloudy and hot tub wasn't even that hot! We never went back too the pool and stayed a week! There were young kids in the hot tub with out an adult and diving in 3ft water! I think if they kept pool clean and other's followed the rules everything would have been great!

I booked my trip here as a last get away for my fiancé and I before our son is born. When we checked in the lady at the front desk noted I was heavily pregnant and that our room was on the third floor with no elevator. She immediately found a room on the first floor for me! Her kindness and thoughtfulness is something that made a gigantic inpression on me! The resort was gorgeous, the room was amazing and comfortable, and it was close to everything we wanted to do! Shopping, Jamestown, the Living Museum. We were in a small apartment! Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a dining room, living room, full kitchen and a balcony. The suite was very clean and I loved the soaking tub! They're were so many activities to do at the resort as well! I was beyond thrilled and I know we'll be going back again!

A beautiful, quiet and comfortable place to stay. Rooms were spacious. You get a big living room connected with dining room and kitchen, master room with its own huge bathroom, another room with twin beds and bathroom next to it. We had a balcony too. They have a lot of activities thorough the day. We loved the outdoor and indoor pools with the Jacuzzi next to the indoor one. There's also a mini golf, table tennis (ping pong), basketball, volleyball courts and the golf course is attached to the resort. We are saving this location for future visits!

Very nice rooms and amenities. The internet cut out at one point overnight but they got it back working quickly the next morning.

We came on a getaway thru interval… requested at the desk for a queen in the second bedroom, and asked for a recently remodeled, upper story room after reading thru previous reviews. Found a unit that fit all the criteria! We played a round of mini golf while waiting for our room to be ready, then carried aid up the stairs for the week. During the week we enjoyed the historical triangle and walked the golf course as it was often closed due to rain. The Greenspring Interpretive loop tail not far away was a treat… we enjoyed the history, scenery and saw several deer. The activity center provided jigsaw puzzles and the hot soaking tub was relaxing and quiet during the week. We wished for propane grills but there were only charcoal grills and since the weather didn't cooperate we didn't use them. All in all, an enjoyable week in a quiet area just outside of the action. Highly recommend "fast tuna" grill for fresh seafood and great local beers. We enjoyed our week with family!

3rd time staying here and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Williamsburg, va. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Beds are like-new firm and clean. Towels and linens are bright white and clean/fresh. Outdoor pool is great. Indoor pool and sauna are very nice as well. Grounds are clean and beautiful. Very well upkept. I have suggested this place to two other families that tried it and both are now repeat visitors as well. There are not enough good things I can say about this place!

Great room. Clean. The vacation property sales lady had the standard push for us to go to an info session. A little annoying when she didn't back down when we said we were overnight guests. Room was great though.

Good service. The rooms were clean and large. The kitchen was filled with dishes, glasses, and everything you need to enjoy a holiday and save money for food.

A family friendly place with nice pools. The rooms are very noisy though!

Second time here and I'm enjoying it. Quite and the scenery is beautiful the activity are awesome but not as awesome as the pool and the tubs that are located in the beautiful house that make up feel wonderful and homie.

Great place to stay no matter what the season. Indoor pool and outdoor pools coupled with rec rooms allows for entertainment for all ages. Rooms are spacious and well cleaned.

My second time at this resort. Rooms are spacious and staff very friendly. Difference between the updated rooms vs non mostly seems to be limited to updating decor from the 80s into a more modern design choices in terms of colors and fabrics. Not a particularly big deal, but noticeable. Overall though, an enjoyable place to stay, as long as you can deal with their insistence about a timeshare presentation.

We ended up with a suitable place, but you really have to ask the right questions to get a good place. Ask when was it last renovated — — some of the units are quite dated; ask about beds, you can get 2 twins or one Q in the second bedroom; ask about a jetted tub. We assumed all were jetted as ours was in the last unit we stayed in, but it was not this time! Prices are great, don't be sucked in by the Concierge — — just ask for your internet code when you check in (a slight extra fee for internet) and then you can say "No Thank You" to the concierge who is just a sales person in disguise.

After a long day at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg with two small children and three teenage boys — it was a relief to come to Greensprings and find everything as promised during my booking. Very polite and efficient front desk staff — beautiful, well maintained grounds. We only stayed for one night — but we will be back since we purchased one of their vacation packages. I am hoping all we've been promised with the vacation package will be delivered!

Nice big units. Clean. Good kitchen equipment. Showing its age a little. Could use a little TLC. Sits in the middle of a golf course but not part of the resort. Did not see many golfers.

Worst resort I have ever stayed. Room was infested with ants and roaches. Management team offered a $25 gift card for my having to stay in that filthy villa. Villa have updated flat screen TVs but still have analog channels. Nothing like watching a NCAA basketball game on a 42" TV with a fuzzy picture. I am an Interval and RCI member and have traveled and stayed at over 50 resorts in the past 10 years and this is by far the worst. Worst resort in williamsburg.

Very safe place to stay. Lots to do. Free Wifi. Rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Stayed here as part of a 3 night deeply-discounted vacation package with the obligation that my wife and I had to attend a 2 hour time-share property presentation which took longer than 2 hours. We lodge in building 2 on the 2nd floor. Since these are older refurbished building elevators are non-existent. I new this before I booked and ask to stay at least on the 1st floor, even so my request wasn't met. The condo itself appeared clean and had 2 spacious bedrooms, a living and dining area and kitchen area. The smell of the dwellings upon entering front door had a mildew moldy scent which we bought to management attention. The master bedroom did not have any overhead lighting or fan and lighting consequently was lacking. The king size bed was on the extra soft side. The carpet was very loose and bunched up in places. Many of resort various buildings' dwelling accommodations are spread out considerably from the reception and swimming pool areas and will required driving to and from your dwelling for use. The sofa-bed covers were dirty and should be laundered, they had stains old over. All in all I truly wouldn't pay big bucks to stay at this resort considering Colonial Williamsburg has many other choices to choose from. Finally, Concerning the presentation it was longer than 2 hours and let me tell you, these sales people got their act together.

Based on some positive reviews, we thought this would be a good place to stay with our daughter. Boy were we wrong. While it looked decent and seemed to have everything we needed, there was ALOT wrong with this place. Many of the staff didn't help the situation either. From the moment we arrived — late at night — we were pressured by Sheila from concierge to attend a timeshare presentation. When we didn't get up in time the next morning, she was calling our unit wanting to know when we could go. The best part about it was she wanted us to pay money to reserve our spot in the presentation, which she said would be refunded. We declined. When we did attend, the apparent hour and a half presentation turned into 5 hours and completely ruined our day. Our daughter sat in a "playroom" and was starving by the time we got her out. We stated from the beginning we were not going to be buying timeshare yet they kept pressuring us. Pressure is pressure no matter how nice they think they are being. However nice, the desperation on our salesgirl was evident. We quickly became aware that lights and appliances did not work in our unit. The dishes came out of the dishwasher as dirty as when they went in. The carpets in the foyer leading down to our unit — which was one of the "refurbished" units — were filthy and the area had a bad smell. The jets in the tub looked grimy and we could just imagine what kind of bacteria was living inside them. Our keys failed to work when we arrived.

We had a recent stay at Greensprings in July. The place is absolutely amazing! What you see is what you get! All the photos on the site are exactly what you will walk into. (Which can't be said for most places) We traveled with a 4 year old and a 11 month old and even they loved the place. 2 bedroom suite. Master bedroom with a king sized bed and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need to make a meal. Just make sure to bring tupperware along. They had a set of 3 nesting bowls in our unit, but they were a little big. The pool is a great place to hang out, the staff at the poolside bar are very kind. As it is a timeshare, we fully expected to have to dodge the timeshare meetings like it was our job. Not ONCE were we pestered about attending a meeting which we were VERY grateful for. This piece alone would make us very seriously consider purchasing into the timeshare when we are ready to do so. The only negatives that we had experienced through our 6 day stay was that in order to turn our dryer off, we needed to physically open it. It wasn't shutting off for whatever reason. Secondly whoever hooked up the DVD player in the living room area had not set the video AUX correctly, so we had to watch in the bedroom which was no big deal. We couldn't fix it ourselves because the TV was fixed to the shelf it was on. Minor, minor negatives in a place boasting with positives.

Very spacious! Felt like home away from home.

I recently had my vacation at this resort and I have to say that I was very impressed. Although I felt it was a bit lacking in certain types of activities, it was a really great place to be. The suites are amazing! We had a two bedroom, 3 beds and a pull out. The kitchen was nice with very current appliances and everything one would need. I like how quiet the entire campus was. It seemed like an ideal spot to own a timeshare should I think about it later. We did have an issue with our central air conditioning, but the service was prompt and very helpful. The technician even lugged a small unit up the stairs to ensure that we were comfortable. The activities desk had a lot of information about the surrounding area and of things that we could do while there. All in all I had a lot of fun on my vacation and I own most of that to the resort.
