This was a good place to stay for one night. The breakfast was small but the hotel staff was attentive. It was affordable and easy to book on priceline.

The elevator was broken, the TV was snowy, only 1 ice machine worked & it was out of ice the first night, they tried to overcharge me, the door didn't line up all the way & left a small gap, the AC was super loud, the grab & go breakfast was a joke. The only reason they got one star was because of their front desk staff. They're golden but that hotel is a run down mess.

It was decent enough. I don't have a lot of positive feedback, accept the price was good. IllI say this, You get what you pay for.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Rooms were dirty, cable was all news channels. The first day house keeping never stopped to clean our room. I called the front desk asking for them to come clean my room. After four phone calls I got them to bring me towels and coffee. Two more phone calls before they brought me sheets, however, when she showed up with sheets handed them to me and walked away so I had to make my own bed. The next day they came in and made my bed but never changed my sheets. The first night we had some strange guy about 20 knock on our door at 530 in the morning demanding we open the door so he could give us $20 if we gave him oral pleasure. Never again would I ever stay at this hotel again.

Cracked roof plaster, bathroom door doesn't close (nothing to hold like a lock or knob), water dripping continuously in bath tub, whole room appeared like it was being taken down but they stopped at last moment and did a quick plaster and paint job. Parking is mostly occupied by transport company right next and some religious attendees that go right across the road, police cars are continuously roaming around hotel premises. And here is best part… When you check in, they make you sign a doc stating they are not responsible of any theft, damage to your property even if it is locked in your hotel room and car parked in hotel parking. This explains a lot about this hotel, for three nights I stayed here, I was always worried about my car and during 4 days, I was worried about my stuff inside hotel room. I'll book this hotel only if it is last remaininghotel in this whole region.

Possibly one of the worst hotels I may have ever stayed in. Reasoning behind it is that the hotel service is poorly managed and the management team is atrocious on its own. The room smelled like a hotbox of cigarettes, it is poorly house kept (room service does not tend to it) and the halls don't fair any better. Highly recommend not to stay look else where.

If I could give this hotel a negative rating, I would. The hotel itself is okay, minor details here and there however, the management for this property is atrocious. The general manager, Dave, is one of the most inhumane and emotionless person I have ever met. This guys really only cares about money and does absolutely NOTHING when his employees makes mistakes yet, DEFENDS them! I am in the process of reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau as well as their corporate office. Save your money and go to the Extended Stay or Comfort Inn across the street.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the bathroom was very pesimo.

Room smell bad. Photo didnt wotk and TV was so blurry look like 1970 bad TV. Had maintenance look at it all he did was turn it off and back on same with phone. Didnt do anything to make it work. Was offered another room and same thing and all the front desk would do is say some rooms are like that and I have. O more rooms sorry. Very disappointed. Wouldnt stay here again if it was free.

Management is fantastic. I had an issue with the room I booked, my mistake not theirs, and it was taken care of immediately by the manager. Super nice gentleman as well. Highly recommend.

Lights outside flicker constantly, u can hear everyone ABOVE you and Bellow you walking. $70 a night when the room is at best a $50 room. Wi-Fi is somehow the worst I've ever seen couldn't even load a video on Facebook. The walls are so thin it's freezing even with the heater on. The door barley fits to the outer door rim and u can hear the draft from the door. HORRIBLE SHOWERS! CHEAP ASF WITH THE HOT WATER! ENJOY COLD ASF WATER! Theds are nice and the painting on the wall is nice, wood floor is nice plus option of smoking room or noun smoking room. But overall it's a 2-3 out of 10 2 star experience, 3 star price (cheap hotel for being in OVERPRICED Virginia) 5 star for mannered employees (the lady I made the reservation with was super nice)

I got sick from the lobby food and it's drama with staff ever time, plus I had to clean up my own room and switch rooms more then once on one stay. There's paid security services very rude disrespectful and act as if he doesn't comprehend English. I don't recommend you using this place. It's very dramatic experience no one comprehend the English language and very rude female staff to the upper most. I have hang out on the lobby for business purposes and I seen and witnessed very very unpleasant unprofessional situations that not or should have not happen to Guess…

Comfy bed, clean blankets, and I could get the room as cold as I want. Oh, and a hot shower. My only issue is the area… it's a little sketchy.

The people at the front desk were friendly and answered all of my questions. I also asked for a wake up call. They did call, however it was exactly ten minutes after the time I had specified.

It is what you would expect from a super 8, motel 6 type of motel. Someone had turn the air conditioner on and broke the power and temperature button so I couldn't turn it off. The maintenance staff came out and hit a timer button which temporarily turn the heat on and then said it's okay. But I said no it's not. I can't adjust the temperature. I left for wedding and came back and they had swapped out the AC. The room was just as you would expect from a cheap motel, chipped paint, cracked ceilings, Etc. The trim around the door was all but gone so you could see Sunshine pouring in around the door which also meant at night you could hear every noise that walk by your room. It was good enough that if I was looking for cheap accommodations in this area again I would stay here. The staff we're all friendly and polite and tried to address my issues.

First off it wasn't made clear that there was a Days Inn side and a Super 8 side. We arrived late so we had to check in on the Days Inn side. The staff there was not customer friendly and didn't seem to want to be bothered. She never told us about the Super 8 side (which if you arrive after a certain time you have to check in on the Days Inn side for super 8 side). We had NO Wi-Fi the whole time we were there. The first night we were told it was because of the rain. The next night it was we'll let the manager know, the next night it was we don't know why it's not working. The last morning we ate breakfast on the Super 8 side after we realized there was another side. The lady there said that you have to enter a certain web address in your browser to sign on to the Wi-Fi. We tried it and it still did not work. We complained about our room smelling like smoke and they gave us the option for another room and it wreaked of smoke also. They then tried to say it was the spray that was used. One of the people staying with us had some allergy issues the whole time we were there but was completely fine when we left. The bathrooms are TINY also. For the price you get what you pay for minus Wi-Fi. They did compensate for the problems we had which was much appreciated. The lady on the Super 8 side was very polite, friendly, and professional. Wish we would have been told about the other side when we checked in.

Room was dirty and outdated. There wasn't enough electric outlets. Wi-Fi didn't work. Only good thing was the employees at the front desk were nice and helpful.

It was a decent hotel. Nothing out of the ordinary. Service was friendly. I just wish we had a slightly larger room. Didn't have much space.

Definitely acceptable for the money. Clean inside the room but the outside is not in great shape. For that price in Washington it was very good. Located in a nice place with easy access to food stops.

As far as cheap hotels in the DC area this is the best you're going to do, but you also get what you pay for. The room was extremely run down, "smoke free" definitely wasn't a thing, and the free breakfast was nothing more than some orange juice and some week old muffins.

My family and I did not have a very good experience here. We stayed for a week and the service got progressively worse. The maids forgot to change the towels a couple of times during our stay and the building over all is very rundown and dilapidated. The most annoying part of our stay was the elevator — there are two and one of them was broken the entire time. This caused severe backups on all the floors because the guests and the maintenance staff would use the only other one. Any other hotel would have fixed the broken one immediately as it was an inconvenience to guests. The attached IHOP had very poor service as well. I would recommend staying at another hotel in the area.

Loud, but comfortable. A couch, chair and bed. The tele had satellite maintenance required. The clocks in the room were all set to the wrong time. Clean shower/toilet. Large lobby. Great A/C.

Some customer service would be nice. Bathroom was horrendous. No way my family is showering in that chipping tub with water stains. Room wasn't uncomfortable but definite updating is necessary and perhaps changing a few of the outside lighting so it doesn't have that creepy horror movie flicker. Days Inn has to do better!

Really good value for the money you pay, comparing to many other more expensives hotels/motels in DC area. Breakfast included in the price. Rooms were fine. Close to I395 going into DC. Many restaurants, fast foods, shops around. Would stay again.

It was okay. The room we stayed in was completely renovated, with a new refrigerator and microwave in the room. New updated bedsheets and comforters. The exterior is newly painted as well. The hotel is unfortunately not in the best neighborhood, and the so called continental breakfast is barely that. There are no pastries, fruit or bagels, just bread and cold cereal for the most part and a waffle maker and some questionable oatmeal. The orange juice and Apple juice are completely watered down and the coffee is horrible. With that said the reason I have rated it two stars was because I did not expect for the accommodations to be this good (so much for deflated expectations).

The stay at Days Inn wasn't very good. It started with the toilet making a noise from the water in it running. It also wouldn't flush. Once someone claim to fix it the next morning it began to do it again. So I just close the bathroom door so it wouldn't sound as loud. The air conditioning didn't really get feel that cool. Even having it down to 62. The room really needed an upgrade. It looked worn and like it was about to fall apart. Especially in the bathroom…

I like aviation. The staff at the breakfast were not friendly. The bathroom didn't have a curtain.

Zum Frühstück gab es nur Toast, Marmelade in Plastikdosen. Getränke: Milch, Saft, Kaffe, heißes Wasser. Das essen musste man mit Plastikgeschirr und Papptellern essen und die Getränkeaus Styroporbecher trinken, sodass jedjedesmal ein großer Haufen Müll entstand. Das Zimmer hatte keine Fenster zum öffnen, also musste mann immer die Klimaanlage benutzen um zu "lüften"

I just checked in not too long ago in Room 218… only to find a rat inside of the room! I informed the front desk personnel of the issue. She proceeded to switch me to a room where none of the beds were made. This is highly unacceptable and I plan on taking further action.

We got to our first room and it smelled of smoke terribly, even though we reserved nonsmoking. They then moved us to a different room, which was supposedly far away from smoking section where people were right outside my room smoking. That room smelled of. Some sort of strong cleaning solution, and there were numerous holes in the bedspread. The included breakfast was literally just cereal, milk, juice, and oatmeal. Find a different hotel!

Horrible! Needs lot of update! Very disappointed, no refrigerator, no microwave, smell horrible, asked for non-smoking and I guess all the rooms smells like it. Not recommended!

It wasn't very clean, and the area want very touristy, but it was cheap and they included breakfast and a shuttle to the nearest metro stop. I'd happily stay here again.

My mom dad sister and I traveled ten hours and we stayed on days onn for a night. The experience was bad. It had no fridge mo microwave no trashcan and the carpet is dirty sheets and the pillows are dirty. Tv dosent a cable very week Wi-Fi. In the top of thattheis dust everywhere. But it was a one night stay.

Let's see… stayed there for the Marine Corps Marathon 2015. It's listed as a 1 1/2 star property, but that doesn't really mean much overall. It's a Days Inn, after all. How bad can it be? Well, the hotel staff really has no clue about what is in their neighbourhood (you ask for a place to eat, and they have to ask everyone else, because they don't know), they don't know about the local Metro rail/bus system, and the property itself is kind of on the dirty side, plus they have bugs (maybe not bed bugs, as referenced by the other poster (we checked for spotting! ), but they do have crickets (in October! ), and their staff seems unsympathetic/unhelpful regarding that kind of thing, which is a bad sign, since it suggests that bugs in the room are a normal, everyday occurrence and not something they should be ashamed or concerned about. Yes, hotels are expensive properties to upkeep, and as an outdoor property, it is hard to keep every little thing out that needs to be, but still, the lack of concern regarding bugs is disconcerting. Received a call, where they simply made the excuse of being an outdoor property, but failed to take corrective action, nor offer any kind of real apology or offer compensation, whereas most properties would offer SOMETHING. Certainly not expecting free nights or anything, but expecting slightly more than excuses.

This hotel has bedbugs stay as far as you can from it. We wanted to get a refund and get out when we found them at 3 am but they told us at the front desk that we would have to talk to the manager who comes 1 day later. Hello? We're not from here we won't be in this state one day later! Very rude people, I'll be suing.

It was the most awful place I have ever stayed. I requested a non-smoking room and when I got to the room the bed sheets and pillows had the stench of nicotine all over them. Management took forever to check me in.

Terrible place I wake up to a bug on the sink counter. The outside is ugly and uninviting. Looks like I was arriving at some projects in bad city.

The worst way to start your vacation is to stay at Days inn after a tiresome long travel. You have to go and check your room when you are given one (though PRE-BOOKED) and give an update to the receptionist about how the room is. They do not let you know that you would need a Parking ticket to park in the designated DAYS INN parking lot and you would have to run around to save your car from being towed, the worst of all yet to come, you would have to call back looking at your transactions that your card is charged twice for the single time you stayed and as a courtesy as well they would not say that their MANGER would give call back on this. Had I not seen my transactions which I usually don't they make money out of my pocket. Be ready of such POCKET CUTS if you have to choose it.

WTF?!? Where do I start? The list would be very long. There's a reason why this place has 2.7 stars.

This hotel should be quarantined and shut down. It was a disgusting experience, and made it hard to believe we were staying at a days inn. The management also doesn't give a shit about keeping your reservations, and will move you from a non-smoking room to a smoking, which is despicable to do that to someone with allergies or asthma who had never smoked before. They rely heavily on advertising to keep drawing in people looking for a cheap hotel around dc. I would look elsewhere. This was over priced for how filthy and run down it was.

Excellent motel for the price. Great and friendly staff. Great room, big room, clean, has a elevator, free Wi-Fi (although Wi-Fi does not connect all time), good AC, quite, easy access to interstate, free breakfast, ample parking.

Wish I could leave a negative star. This place HAS ROACHES. Do not stay here. Manager threatened to charge me for the night when I told about the roaches and that I was leaving. There are roaches here not matter how nice staff was there are roaches! dont stay here cheapness gets you roaches.

I stayed in room 234 and it was a nice experience. I found it convenient that we were located right next to the 395. The area was very diverse and I liked that a lot. Although I was expecting the hotel to be a little bit more modern than it was, it was still a nice place to stay and convenient. Naveen (m) was very helpful and he made sure that we had a microwave in the room as well as the refrigerator. I liked that there was a safe in the room so me and my wife could lock up our important belongings. One day we left our computers out, and the staff had come in to change the towels. We did not like that our privacy sign disappeared but when we returned our computers were still there. I would recommend you allow Naveem to help you and assist you if you go because he helped in matters relating to the hotel as well as outside matters.

Good value for the money. It is an old structure, but the room was clean. Next door to IHOP.

I returned to this hotel and am pleased to find it much improved. In particular, the front desk experience was very friendly. Sara remembered me, welcomed me warmly, and signed me in rapidly. The shuttle drivers continue to be so helpful, especially the man who drives the last van at 8:15 pm. The housekeeping is still a little casual.

Hotel accepted me for a month stay without any confusion or problem after a month stay with Sara Front Desk Clerk and Dave General Manager quite excellent concern with you as a guest in the hotel with professional service always from the first time I checked in whether it will be from the last day I will check out of my stay. Sara and David were excellent. Thank You David and Sara.

I am a project manager for a construction company and frequently book rooms for myself and crew members. This Days Inn would not honor reservations made by me for two rooms because both people weren't me. Why would I book two rooms for myself? I have never encountered such nonsense in all of my years of working on the road. When the representative from the booking company contacted them directly to explain the situation and to add another name to the itinerary from their end, the people at this Days Inn refused to budge from their obstinate position, leaving us no option but to cancel the reservation entirely. The woman whom I spoke with was as smarmy as she was dull-witted, which is a poor combination for a customer service representative. This place sucks.

It was very nice, my room was well in place, and the people was nice also. I came and went to my daughter School Graduation Celebration Dinner also her graduation at George Mason Univ. A law Degree.

Quite basic, but has all the essentials. Obviously an older building. Mild odor to room. Front desk polite and helpful. Shuttle to Van Dorn metro extremely convenient to make your beeline to downtown DC.

The receptionist was short and somewhat rude until she learned that I was a rewards member, then she did a "service 180" and was helpful for getting checked in. The hotel is huge, especially for a Days Inn. The breakfast was cold cereal or yogurt (no hot anything, no waffles, muffins, etc. ), and the breakfast area was so small that there wasn't room to get to anything, there were too many people in the way. The room itself didn't smell like smoke, which is about the only good thing I can think of to mention. Overall I am never going back to this Days Inn. I stay at Days Inn whenever I can, generally they are very nice. This is one that breaks the trend. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here, ever. Stayed July 2014.
