I love the Oceanfront Inn! Cindy, the Director Of Sales, is the BEST! She helped make my first ever mom vacation a reality and surprised me with some special treats for my room. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the views are literally perfect! Love being a tourist in my own town!

I have stayed a other places on the boardwalk and for value and service this hotel is great. The staff is always friendly. The rooms are always clean and there is a restaurant and indoor pool. All rooms face the beach.

Not worth the price. Pros: -Ocean view. -Kind staff Cons: -Have to pay for parking that fills quickly with no elevators. -Dated rooms. There's a switch that controls all the electricity in the room (was not informed). -Small bathrooms -Thin blankets that are actually just sheets -$36 buffets downstairs $500+ is unbelievable to me with such low standards and it can really drive a nail through a vacation, quickly.

Love Clinton. He tolerates my crazy obnoxious husband so well and always makes us feel at home. Great accommodations at a great price. Everyone is super friendly and they have an awesome pool.

I can not say enough great things about this hotel. We were left stranded by a major chain hotel when they lost our reservation, and I called this property and Mike was phenomenal. We were welcomed with warm smiles, apologies for a mistake they had nothing to do with and we were able to settle into our immaculately clean room easily. The staff has been so amazing I'm actually happy our major chain hotel dumped us. The whole hotel is great. Everything is clean, linens are nice and the staff is top notch. The restaurant downstairs is also great. I will definitely be back!

The Oceanfront Inn at Virginia Beach is quite nice. All the staff we have encountered or polite, clean, and considerate. This Inn is centrally located at Virginia Beach right by Neptune statue. This is also and Oceanfront Hotel and is right on the gorgeous Boardwalk. The indoor pool is nice and there were plenty of towels provided there. There is also an Eatery which we did not try out. I would highly recommend this place to to quality, location, and price.

Hey nice place to stay. Room service was very polite and accommodating. Had everything we needed and is in a great beach location. Straight out the backdoor is the pier-like walkway leading you to the ocean. Located between King Neptune and the fishing pier. Great access to entertainment and shopping in either direction when you walk out to the boardwalk.

Excellent Hotel and service. Very affordable as nd the front desk staff is wonderful. They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do while in town. Beth was especially helpful because we originally was booked to stay at La Quinta and that place was horrible. Beth helped us by getting us into The Oceanfront Inn and saving our vacation and wedding anniversary. Wonderful place to stay and right on beach.

Very friendly staff. Nice hotel, clean everywhere. Pool looked nice. Good location. The room was nice, had a good view. Room was right above restaurant so was a little noisy. Also, the blanket was as thin as a sheet, would have liked nicer blankets.

Great family hotel. Very friendly staff and clean area. A heated indoor pool and access to the YMCA was provided. My only problem was I was told there was a microwave in the room and there was not one. Not even in the lobby. There was no continental breakfast provided because theres a restaurant on site which was very pricey. I paid $30 for a breakfast for 3 people and that was with a 10% discount. Overall, I was pleased with my experience but I will not stay again.

This hotel is in a nice location. The beach isn't near as busy as southern end. Rooms are fine and pretty clean. Within walking distance of starbucks and duck donuts!

The hotel was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a balcony room that faced the ocean it waa a beautiful view. If I had complaint it was a couple of my outlets in my room didn't work. The rooms were a little dated but well cared for and very clean. But I would stay there ahaing.

The staff was very friendly. Place was quiet cozy and comfortable. Lots to do within walking distance. Restaurant's also walking distance. River walk right outside back door. Very clean. Nice indoor pool. Check them out.

After a long day of traveling, when we finally got to the room I was excited to be able to lay down and rest. Or so I thought? The whole top of my bed was covered in black hair … so I brought it to the front desks attention where they had an “oh really… ” reaction and then proceeded to say “well I guess I can move you to a handicap room if you don’t want to stay there”. I didn’t feel comfortable laying down in a bed that clearly wasn’t clean. We got to the new room, where we had one working outlet, followed by a roach on the “quiet please” sign you hang from your doorknob. There are no blankets, only a thin sheet… on our last night there we woke up to a bathroom FILLED with ants from the floor to the ceiling… we asked the manager at the front desk to come take a look, and her response was “if your not out of here in 15 minutes you will be charged another night”. Awesome location, but other than that I would never ever consider coming back to this hotel.

Good place for family stay. They have a indoor heated pool which is a great. You can buy breakfast and other meals from their restaurant on ground floor. They don’t provide a microwave oven in the room or in the hotel. A lot places to eat around are walk able. There is a Harris Teeter couple of blocks away. ABC is also few blocks away. Staff is very welcoming and friendly.

Stayed here this past week and on our arrival the place was a mess with over size trash container in the parking lot and a semi and trailer blocking the entrance. Finally got parked and went in to only find beds all over the halls the people they hired to remove the beds and put the new ones in was foul mouthed and looked homeless. When we booked the room we asked for a upper room and was placed on the first floor for the first 2 nights then finally got moved to the 6th floor where the view was awesome and got to see the dolphins. The beds are small and not comfortable at all. The indoor heated pool was closed during our entire stay. I feel they turned others away because of what was going on as we was the only ones there only question is why they didn't contact us to let us know that all this was going on so we could have found something different.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice beachfront hotel. Good ammenaties, close to so much and it was clean. Will be staying here again.

Nice standard older hotel. We came for USATF National Masters 8K Championship. Mar 17, 2018. Nice ocean view. Clean quite room. Minor complaints: at night the room was cold but heater was malfunctioning. Beds had no blankets; had to call for them. No tea, only coffee in room. Major plus: Staff was very friendly and helpful… 5 stars for staff.

We spent 5 night here and they were great. Very friendly front desk and housekeeping. The rooms are very clean. The pool area was very clean. They have an attached restaurant. The beach is right out the back door and a ramp right to the beach. Highly recommended.

Ok for starters, the staff was friendly. Unfortunately the hotel is very dated and could use a good cleaning and sanitation ritual. It's pretty dirty. They don't really take care of their pool area either. Their is mold on border of the pool and I had to make sure my toddler wasn't going to put his mouth on it. Their shower to enter the pool prior to and after was like taking a shower in Arctic water and the mat underneath was filthy. I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt but this hotel needs a good cleaning crew and a renovation.

Honestly, for the price it was just what I expected. The room had a bit of a strange smell, but you get used to it. It appeared clean, and it had a great view of the ocean. As soon as we checked in and got to our room, we saw dolphins! Lots of them! We saw them the next morning as well. If you are looking for a view of the ocean and a safe place to sleep at a reasonable price, this is your place! Don't expect to be blown away by the accommodations though.

The Oceanfront Inn was exactly what I was hoping for in a hotel for Christmas weekend back home: a nicely maintained room with an oceanview balcony in a location that was conveniently located on the strip (in terms of what's in easy walking distance) and that felt more homey than one of the chain hotels. I'm sure if I'd needed something, I could have gotten the help of the front desk to resolve it easily. I just didn't need anything. I also love that there was a notice in the lobby that the housekeeping staff would be taking Christmas day off to spend with their families (and to therefore make you were sorted before they were no longer available). I like that they gave the day off to the hardest worked portion of any hotel staff.

Went to this hotel last August for my anniversary and loved it! Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location. No complaints here and I will be returning in 2018 as well.

I visited during off-season. The rate was much better than nearby hotels, yet the accommodations were nice. A nice surprise was a free pass to see the holiday light display. The coffee maker could use an upgrade and one of the outlets was out, but nothing bad. Great view.

Older hotel but clean. The staff is so pleasant & welcoming! Nice size indoor heated pool for doing laps & getting some exercise. Will be coming back!

Second time we’ve stayed here (this past week) it is our new go to hotel for Virginia Beach. Beautiful view, fantastic staff, great room rate, very clean spacious room, comfortable bed. Only downfall is having to leave such a nice establishment and return to reality. Had breakfast at Neptune’s and it was incredible. Walking distance to shops. Can’t wait to return!

Great view but no breakfast and the beds are not very comfortable. Also there are no microwaves. Will not be staying here next week. I'm going to try the Best Western Plus.

Hotel is in a great location for the North end of the Beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool was nice. Hotel overall was very nice and clean. Downfall, I purchased a cot for 2 night which I was charged $10 a night plus tax. These cots are Horrible! Basicall sleeping on springs. They really need to be replaced or stop charging for them. Memory foam would be awesome.

We had a room at the Oceanfront Inn on the 7th floor with a King bed. The hotel were very kind to us and gave us the peace and comfort we needed. The rooms were good, they had the amenities we needed and we were there seemed to be daily cleaning (housekeeping came to our room the day after we arrived and offered to clean but we didn't require it). The views are great. You get to watch the sunrise on the balcony and it's right in front of the boardwalk which is by the ocean. The beds could be a bit more comfier and the blankets are quite thin — there was no duvet. All in all, we loved our stay there. It was a convenient walking location to the beach and the shops near the boardwalk.

The staff were very friendly, they never failed to greet or answer questions, at the front desk or in the halls. While the hotel may appear to dated, it was clean. For the amount of sand that gets tracked into any beach front hotel, the floors and halls were surprisingly clean. My family and I enjoyed the heated pool, although I don't think the spa was working correctly. That was okay though, because the pool was very warm, and felt wonderful. The view from our balcony was stunning. All rooms face the ocean, and have balcony's. If you're sick of chain hotels this is a very nice alternative. My major complaint about this hotel was there was no microwave in the room. That was really the only draw back we had. The restaurant attached to the hotel had okay food, but the staff was friendly. My food was a little chilled by the time it got to the table. My husband got the bleu burger and said it was excellent. Over all this was a nice place, that I would recommend.

Spent three glorious days here. The oceanfront offers many amenities to your stay and we took advantage of all of them. I gave their outside pool at 8 out of 10.

From the location of course, to the clean rooms & my favorite, the staff. Every member of the staff here is an absolute pleasure to encounter. Clinton at the front desk, when you meet him you will love him too! If you ask me you shouldn't sleep on this hotel you should eat, sleep & play IN this hotel. Thank you Ocean Front Inn for always making me feel like family.

Everything was good except the mattresses weren't as soft as some hotels I stay at. The rooms were nice and clean the staff was friendly. Our room had a wonderful View. We enjoyed the heated pool :)

The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, restaurant in the hotel open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is good has a nice variety to select from. They also take care of their repeat guests.

The best way to tell a great hotel is by the beds. I slept like a dream! Listening to the ocean churn all night long. Watching the sunset and was able to see it come back up again sitting on my oceanfront balcony! If you stay here you must go and eat at the Neptune Resturant.

Older hotel. Good spot and good restaurant connected, no free breakfast but overall ok. Only thing was that the hotel was not very accommodating because we were running the marathon and needed some flexibility with checkout but girl at reception wasn't very helpful.

Very nice place! My family and I went here when they had cheap deals, (they normally have cheap deals so it was a win-win) They have a nice hotel pool if its too hot or cold to swim in the ocean. When it's dinnertime they have a great seafood buffet! If you have picky eaters, they have burgers and fries to order too. All I can say is this place is really nice and staff are friendly, and keep this place clean and in shape.

Rates are fair. I think all rooms have a oceanfront view. They have a indoor pool also. I would give them 5 stars but I remember the room not having a microwave and few small minor details. But stay was great. The staff was also great.

I have been staying here at least twice a year for the past 17 years. It is affordable and it is family owned. I like how the staff is friendly and frequenting has its perks for this property. Anytime of year this is a good place for families and couples just wanting an escape that is purely ocean front. Holiday lights on the Beach is in clear view, and you get a pass with your reservation during that time of year. (Thanksgiving-New Years)

Oceanfront Inn is fantastic. The staff is warm and efficient from the cleaning staff to the Front desk people. Everyone was super nice. The rooms have incredible views. I can't imagine getting better even in the more pricey resorts. The view (right on the water) is the same whether you pay a fortune somewhere else or pay less to stay here. The rooms are very nicely appointed, updated and clean. The indoor pool is adorable and a great thing to have for the kids on a rainy day. This is, by far, the best place we've stayed in VA Beach and we come every year. We will definitely be staying at Oceanfront Inn from now on. We didn't try the in-house restaurant so I can't comment on that. It looks nice, maybe kinda pricey, but that's not unusual for places right on the water.

I'm in VA. Beach all throughout the year doing business and Oceanfront Inn is my go to spot for cleanliness, convenience, good atmosphere and restaurant on site. The staff there are the best. I have never had a complaint in the past 3 years.

Price is great for on ocean, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, and good local restaurant. We arr. Week before Mem. Day. We took a side view and we're very pleased overall.

Located at 30th, the Oceanfront Inn has great rooms. Service is always good and they were a partner with SonRise Music Festival so we got our rooms at the partner rate. Second year I've stayed with them and love it!

Me and my husband have been staying at this hotel for the past two years when we go on vacation. We love it there, it really feels like our home away from home. Even the maids are so kind to us and they give us everything we need to have a wonderful time at the beach. For the money that we pay it is defiantly a great hotel. We also think that the hotel restaurant is one of the best ones on the beach. You get a discount for breakfast and it is so nice eating a home cooked breakfast while sitting on the patio with a great view of the beach and ocean. The hotel also has a really nice heated pool that is inside so if it is raining you can still swim. Everything is very clean and the hotel is close to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel for just a low key relaxing vacation. The prices are wonderful and so worth what you pay.

Byotp. Ha. Bring your own toilet paper. When I asked for better quality TP at the front desk they laughed at me. You can literally read the newspaper through the TP! Also other guest don't follow the no smoking rule. So if you sleep with your balcony door open you might wake up to smokey smell like I did… Location is fair. 126$ a night. I don't think I'd try this place again.

The service was amazing. The people were so nice. There was someone always at the front desk and the heated in door pool was awesome. House keeping came earlier than expected, but other than that it was a good experience.

Great place to stay. My wife and I have been going here for eight years and we love it. All rooms are ocean view with a balcony the staff is friendly and attentive. We won't stay anywhere else.

We were there earlier this month and were so impressed with this place that we are going back tomorrow if they have availability! Location, location, location! The staff members are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the view from the rooms is priceless! Just beautiful! All rooms are oceanfront! The restaurant on site is delicious and wait staff very friendly. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner (seafood buffet is great)! This place is affordable!
