Is a very quiet family friendly hotel the rooms are cozy and clean the staff is very helpful.

Check In was kinda ruff! The lady was having a bad day I guess or just didn’t like her job! But after the manger took over it was very pleasant! And everyone eles there was very helpful respectful nice and had smiling faces! Really enjoyed our stay and will return again! The rooms where clean nice and spacious!

Not a good review… I was woken up by a Big bug crowing across me…
I got up and checked out as fast as I could. 1/17/19 @7 :35am the lady at the hotel desk say the bug is looking for a warm place. And she has them n her house and it was common and nothing she could do about it.

The small convention I visited took up only one room, so I don't have much to say about the hotel. The location is easy to get to from the freeway, but easy to miss the turn the first time going there. (A turn from the offramp, then another immediate turn)

Fairly nice hotel. Clean room and pool. Friendly helpful staff. Have stayed here a few other times and the breakfast was not as good as previously. Watery sausage and gravy, obvious powdered eggs. Salty dry biscuits. Missed pastry, boiled eggs, bagels and fresher tasting orange juice.

Pool was closed and apparently had been for quite some time despite the employee telling me they were waiting for a part to arrive Monday. It was a Friday and Saturday I stayed. Convenient location was a plus. Poor customer service for the most part. Refrigerator didn't work. Room cleanliness was lacking.

Looks are definitely deceiving! The nastiest place I have ever stayed and the front desk people we're very rude. First thing when got in the room had to deal with fresh blood on the mattress cover. In order to have linen changed, we had to vacate the room, we leave the room for 4 1/2 hours… linens still not changed… when we called, we were told because no one answered the door… hotel staff was not able to enter… posted pics of the room… must veiw before booking a room!

The staff here is very nice and the room is pretty good. A/C works great though a little noisy at times. Price is good and breakfast was tasty. There is a Waffle House and a Mexican Restaurant down the hill which gives me exercise walking back up. Haha.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area. The room was nice. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but the only thing that was annoying were the bugs. Found a cockroach and a spider in the room. Continental breakfast was setup in a decent size dining room and the food was good.

Nice hotel. They update every time and I use it 1 or 2 times a year. New door locks and good clean rooms.

Front desk personal were welcoming; lobby and rooms immaculate; grounds well kept; room rates — more than fair. Loved my stay!

Very very disappointed. I feel extremely violated and feel I should notify everyone about what these people did to me. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and had some issues but nothing too serious to warn people about. I checked in to the hotel with Judy at the front and left early the next morning. I had plans that morning so I had to have my phone on silent. I checked my phone around 10am finally and had numerous missed calls from Judy and 2 voicemails. She explained that the credit card I had used hadnt gone through the previous night. I immediately called her back to fix the situation only to find out that Judy and her manager had gone through my previous stays and had charged a different credit card without my permission. The card they decided to charge on their own accord was a card I had just bought a large purchase on and could not afford to put more money on it. I feel this was extremely illegal and will be contacting certain people to see what I can do to handle this. I think it might be worth the extra money to stay at a hotel that doesn't do shady things like this. I'm extremely upset!

The staff seemed somewhat friendly. The rooms were pretty clean although the chair in our room was heavily stained. The breakfast selection was varied which was nice.

Stopped in late into the night after a long car ride. Walked into the room and it was decent. Floors were slightly sticky but I could care less because I was so tired. Yellow stains were seen on the comforter as if they were hardly even washed. Walked into the bathroom and was absolutely disgusted by the site of dried urine all over the toilet seat. Breakfast was good and the view is nice but I will never be staying there again.

Pictures lie, still being remodeled. Pool didn't work, breakfast bar was so so. Not great service either. Needed more towels for 4 people and they gave me 2 when I asked for more she said no. Also we had to put clean sheets on our self because when we arrived they were gross and dirty. Front desk didn't care. Won't be staying at another quality inn again.

Is okay, but could be better. Staff is always very friendly. The housekeeping department could clean a bit better.

This place isn't bad for the price. The rooms could use some work but they're clean and the beds are comfortable. They also have a complimentary breakfast that's hot and pretty good for what it is: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, mini muffins, coffee, juices, and more. Everything considered, the hotel is the best in its price bracket in the area.

I have been coming to this hotel at least once a month for 6 years. I always have the same complaints. House keeping does not clean the rooms properly, never leave an ashtray and the internet does not work. I told the front desk this morning (4/17/18) if they could not give me a room with working internet, to check me out for second night. They checked me out. So what does that say? I have complained about this issue so many times and I am done. Avoid this hotel st all costs.

Great place to stay and Shelby was amazing we loved her to pieces. We will definitely be staying there as often as we can!

Great location. Room was clean and beds were comfy. VERY impressed for the price. Will stay here again when we are back in the Roanoke area.

Rooms are a little dated and the plumbing isn't the greatest but daily turn down service is available and a decent breakfast is offered free of charge.

Well, I was booked at another hotel and canceled to go here. Boy, what a mistake! My husband and I needed a get away so badly. We, drove 3 hours to spend the weekend and explore a little. Our first night there I woke at 5am with massive pain in my back and chest. After 3 hours and no relief I told my husband we had to leave to get me to a hospital. When I was discharged I called the hotel and to them EXACTLY where I left my earrings and if they could mail them to me (I would pay for shipping). I was told that house keeping didn’t find them! Oh really? I told them EXACTLY what they looked like and EXACTLY where they were! My question to them was if house keeping didn’t find them who when in the room before house keeping? Needless to say, a relaxing weekend turned into a trip to the ER and well as my earrings being stolen! Someone other than me is wearing a beautiful pair of earrings!

Amazing staff, food is good, the customer service is over the top and the prife xis out of this world. Has easy access to the interstate, town, shopping and plenty of restaurants to chose from. Will definatly be staying here again in the near future.

Room was decent upon arrival although one beside lamp flickered everytime the bed shifted. Had a hard time finding an outlet to charge my phone (it actually died in the middle of the night whike plugged up). Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good, bathroom was very tight.

This is a very nice place to stay and close to Pentagon mall. The beds were very comfortable and the customer service was great. Karl checked us in and greeted us everyday he seen us by name. Karl is definitely an asset to this hotel! Very clean and loved the bathroom setup.

Clean and updated, this is one of the nicer Quality Inns I have stayed in. Rooms are clean with comfortable bedding and pillows. Breakfast was adequate with good coffee. Staff was friendly with easy check in.

Very nice room and the staff was nice and professional. They even paid for my taxi from the airport. I travel a lot for work and this will be the only place I stay whenever I'm in Roanoke. The manager Mike will go out of his way to help you anyway he can.

I was disappointed and disgusted. The only good thing about this place was Ms. Shelby. Their was constant police activity. The mattresses had stains smaller than usual beds. The toilet was stopped up when I told them the told me to come get a plunger from front desk. Never again horrible experience.

People that give 1star I have no idea what they talking about. Must have stayed here before it was renovated becouse rooms are nice and clean nice breakfast room we had no issue at all for the price we paid. If people want fancy hotel they then need to go somewhere else and pay a lot more just saying.

On their sign it says that customer service is their priority. That is not true. Judy at front desk was very rude when I told her about my dissatisfaction of my room. There's roaches also the mat in the bathtub was deteriorating and I couldn't take a bath and I couldn't watch just about all the channels on the TV because it said no signal. All Judy was did was make make me feel bad and tell me it was my fault and told me if I didn't like her she didn't care and told me I attacked her when I was telling her about the issues I had with my stay. She wouldn't want to hear anything I had to say. Horrible room and horrible customer service rude front desk lady. Horrible horrible.

We were in the area for a softball tournament last weekend… this hotel was on the official ASA stay to play list. Our experience in room 202 was not a very good one. Our room was supposed to be non smoking but you could clearly smell a stale cigarette odor… not over powering but it was there. Chair and ottoman had stains on them… don't want to know what those were from. Door knob wouldn't work all the time. Dead bolt on door for adjoining room was broken so they put a cheap latch at the top which a toddler could push open. Bathroom door was falling apart on the inside. Toilet didn't flush well at all and bathtub takes forever to drain… you are standing in ankle deep water by the end of your shower. The place has clearly been renovated however LOTS of corners cut and poor workmanship. Cleanliness was below average in my opinion. We will steer clear of Quality Inn's going forward.

Phone did not work. Coffee pot broken. Had to call room service using cell phone. Made staff aware. Coffee pot was replaced, but water reserve lid was broke off. Phone was not fixed. 2 day stay. Not Happy with this one.

For the price, it was a good experience. I've stayed at hotels with gross bathrooms at the same price and this place had a clean bathroom and the entire room was up-to-date and well kept. The air conditioner was a little weird, as it stopped running in the middle of the night and then never came back on until we were leaving the next morning. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Had family in hospital in Roanoke. Called ahead to book a room so it would be ready when we got there. We went into the room and it had an terrible smell and then the a/c was making a terrible noise. Went to the front desk and asked for another room and told the woman about the problems. She gave us another room went in it to the smell of cigarette smoke in a non smoking room. We put our bags back in the car and I went to the office to leave. I told the woman about the problems and she became really mad over me complaining. Three days later still had a hold on our credit card. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Drive down the road and stayed at the Courtyard which was really nice. I would not have given 1 star if I could have given 0.

Good value for a quick overnight. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Airport transportation big help and prompt. Room clean except rug. Pool area looked nice and ground well kept despite some construction going on.

The pleasure of the stay was somewhat lessened upon first entering the room when we were immediately greeted by stains all over the carpet. Our impressions were further cemented when we noticed the plethora of stains of various colors and sizes speckling the comforter and pillows. Upon closer inspection, once the comforter was gingerly pulled back and several strands of pubic hair had finished drifting to the ground, we discovered an even wider variety of stains on the rest of the sheets. Silence fell as I looked at my wife, but thankfully didn't last long as the crickets in the room added for some comic relief at this point of tension. We called the front desk to ask for replacement sheets and about twenty five minutes later a very polite, but harried, woman appeared with some "fresh" sheets she said were fresh from the laundry. Inquiring after the possibility of a clean comforter I was told that none were available and she left. Once she departed we began making our own bed, not a reason I go to hotels, only to find that the sheets have a very large urine stain, which confused me since they are white and bleach has been around for a few years. Now it is extremely late and we don't feel like waiting up for another half hour and remaking our bed after spending eight hours in a car so we ended up sleeping our spare blankets I keep in my car for emergencies.

Great Staff, Chris the Manager and Director of Sales of the Property seems to work 24 hours a day. He is on point with ensuring his guests are happy. I even seen him cleaning rooms with his staff which shows his dedication to the satisfaction of his guests. The front desk employees are amazing to talk to, They are friendly, and very informative of things to do in the Roanoke Valley. This hotel definitely is setting the bar on Hotel Customer Satisfaction and I would recommend everyone to stay here!

AMAZING STAFF AND HOTEL* Wow! This hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooms are beautiful, Renovations were done well, Hardwood flooring, New bedding, Hot breakfast buffet! (Where would you find a hotel like this). Chris the Manager is the most Customer Service Oriented individual you will meet in the Hospitality Business, I was there for only one day, and bumped into him at least 4 times. Every time he greeted me, Asked how my day was going, How the rooms was, If there was anything he could do to make my experience a more pleasant one. Chris is a gem in the hotel industry! Front Desk Clerk Judy, What a lovely lady. She always approached me with a positive upbeat attitude, Assisted me in any way that I needed. She should be recognized for her consistency in great service to her guests.

Checked into the hotel last night at 9 o'clock got up this morning to take a shower no hot water no one informed me when I checked That there was no hot water. If I was informed of this information when I checked in I would've went to another hotel. A 20% off instead of 100% in not sufficient if I was properly inform I would've made a better choice I feel they took away my options and I want to a full refund.

We were supposed to get queen beds but got full size instead. Beds and pillows were too soft for concert. Bathrooms were not up to par. The breakfast and the room was very impressive. Overall it was good.

Nicely remodeled. When checking in yesterday, the front desk staff (older lady) want very helpful or friendly. Had booked 2 rooms & she couldn't find my reservations. Complained the whole time about how she wasn't feeling well & she should've called in since she had a doctor's excuse. On the other hand, this morning when checking out, the man at the front desk was very helpful & friendly. Hotel was clean & had a great breakfast.

The staff was very kind, my check-in time was only minutes. I had a large room with 2 beds. The beds were clean, bathroom was clean and the small tubes of shampoo tubes were provided. There was a nice coffee maker, so I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee. Everything was just handy. All the lights and everything else was in working condition. The only thing that I did not like was old stained carpet, which thankfully was nicely vacuumed at least. Overall, my stay was great for the night, so yes, I would stay again there. My choice was good.

I want to say that the manager was kinda of to pick my up for the truck center. Where my truck is getting fix, along the way to the hotel the manager listen to my bad experience with Days Inn and told him about how the room was. So he began to say how well quality Inn is and say good things so I have to see for my self and here it is. Rooms smell like some one smoke in there, which I requested non smoking and 2nd 4oom is to small and crowded, bathroom is looks like is falling apart. Need to improve in that, which I mean tube looks nasty and ceiling is falling apart and most of the lamps has only 1 bulb and the A/C seems like it doesn't want to blow out more air. I mean I set it to high and seem like it still on low, if u r looking for a cheap hotel then this is it but If ur looking for a decent or a better hotel go somewhere else.

First impressions very good. However, when sleeping in the room it's a little bit not good enough. There is a lamp keep on all night outside. You could use the sunshades but it's still kind of an issue.

Best: No bed bugs. No allergens in the air system. Good: Free quick breakfast and hot water The bad and the ugly are cleanliness; non working sinks and disgusting fridge. Hair (not ours) all over the room. Hotel appears to have upgraded the bed and the floor but not the bathroom. Tub rusty.

Had very nice stay at the Quality Inn. I was there Two weeks while my Truck was in the Shop. Every one was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good as well. I definitely would say there again.

To be honest I chose here just for its low price. Yes, it's a sweet place, and don't worry about airport shuttle and its safety; but as I noticed, part of the room was pretty worn, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. Hope for improvement!

Best hotel bed I've ever slept on. The new renovations are very nice and breakfast was great and plentiful. I'll stay there again if I ever pass through.

The rooms were very clean beautiful and spacious the hotel manager help with every need I had and the front desk staff was very pleasantI will definitely return to this hotel if in the area.

The stay was what you would anticipate. Newly renovated rooms helped. However, I left 3 very nice shirts there. It was no where near where I was traveling and asked how I would go about getting them to my destination (or even mailed back home). They insisted they would do nothing and that I would have to contact FedEx or UPS. I was still perfectly fine with this. BUT, when I contacted the shipping agencies they stated that the shirts must be pre boxed. The hotel refused to assist in any way possibly stating that it was not their problem. I would hope that since the customers are not their problem that those reading would not give their business to them. This is strictly my opinion but a little assistance around the holidays sure would be useful.

It wasnt the best place I have stayed and not the worst the refrigerator didnt work in room has no ashtray in a smoking room but it did have a flatscreen and cable wasnt bad had hd channels if I came back to roanoke virginia I would stay somewhere else.

Cons Short on bath towels for 3 days, 1 per room. Couldn't keep up with the trash. Bathroom area is very small. Overpriced group rates. Pros, Pool stayed open late, lots of breakfast space. Convenient location. Nice king bed.

Disgusting. The sheets BOTH my bed, and my co-worker's bed, were unchanged. There is hair all over the sheets, and stains on mine. The sheets feel dirty, and damp. I don't expect much, but the whole reason people rent rooms, are to SLEEP. At least let me sleep on a clean bed. A picture is posted above. And trust me, it does not even come close to serving any justice to the situation.

While the room was adequate and the breakfast sub-par, the event that colored my visit was when I accidentally left my purse at this Quality Inn. I called the front desk as soon as a realized, and they told me that yes, they had found it, and they would over-night it to me when the Post Office opened up again. However, it still took several days for my purse to return to my possession, and when I opened it up, I realized that all of my cash — a little over a hundred dollars — was gone. Not just from my wallet, but also a second zippered compartment of my purse. When I contacted the hotel, they told me the owner would get in contact with me. However, after a day with no news, I called again and finally spoke with the owner. The owner was evasive and denied all responsibility despite the purse being in the hotel's possession the entire time, and refused to return or reimburse me for the money stolen from my purse. Now, as a college student, that money is the equivalent of a week's worth of living expenses — it was vital that I get it back. I have contacted Roanoke authorities and they have opened a case to look into the incident. However, I think it is safe to say that this establishment is 1) inhospitable 2) insecure and 3) irresponsible. I would NOT trust myself or my loved ones to stay at this establishment again, and I am reconsidering the chain as a whole if this is how they treat their customers, and, frankly, y'all should as well.

Great price and remodelled room with new flat screen and hbo. Friendly staff even called to be sure everything was ok. Jamaican restaurant on-site is fantastic. Mix of "regular" and ethnic dishes. Room needs clean curtains though.

Hotel room has been slightly remodeled, but not exactly done well. The TV didn't work correctly, the room smelt a little musty, the bed had a couple strands of hair on it, the door was very difficult to open and close, our SMOKE ALARM was missing, and the bathroom was slightly dinghy. If you're looking to save a little cash this place isn't bad, but it's DEFINITELY not as described in the pictures. Maybe some rooms are different, not sure. Ours had the old carpet and chairs.

Very nice experience. The rooms have been remodeled. Very clean. And they have hot breakfast. We have stay here 3 times and we will be back.

The bed was ver comfortable and the room was clean. I understand the renivations to the place, but some of the ammenties need to be checked too. The water tempeerature in the shower wasnt all that great, and the air conditioner wasn't putting out enought bpu's.

The rooms were clean but make sure you shower at night. In the morning there was not hot water at all. THe water pressure was pretty bad also. It took forever for the air to purge out of the shower head.

Some rooms are nice and some are torn all to hell.
