Good location in the center of Martinsville. Room was ok, bigger than I was expecting but a bit dirtier, too. I was a bit disappointed when there was no free breakfast when I went down at 8am, but luckily Bojangles was across the street. Good enough for a quick stopover, probably wouldn't stay here for an extended stay.

Would never go back to this place the owners are the hatefulness people you could ever meet and don't like american people never ever again will I go there or recommend going there.

Bad customer service. The old white lady that's the cleaning lady is very rude. I wouldn't recommend any one to stay there unless desperate.

The pool needs a lot of love, the towels were dingy. House keeping needs to improve. The hot breakfast was microwaveable biscuits the pillows looked as if they washed in tea. STINGY with towels and wash clothes. However the bed was comfortable the people at the front desk were really nice and friendly. The landscaping was beautiful and the view was nice. Nice size room and everything worked.

It was horrible! they wouldn't let me have but one cup of coffee off the (completmentry) breakfast. And NO FOOD! The little refrigerator had a sign on the front,, saying waffles, sausage bisquet etc. Where I went to open the door, the owners wife yelled at me. Saying NO, NO. Maybe tomorrow. Not today. What in the world. Then they locked me out of my room, while I was gone for being ten minutes late getting back to pay for another day. He, the owner screamed at me… sayin 10$ late fee. I said ok but my purse, my phone, my computer everything is in the room. I need you to open it to get my purse to pay you. He just kept screaming 10$, 10$. I had to borrow the matinence mans phone to call the police. Omg, it was a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The housekeeper said they had the law called on them several times. And that the wife continually runs the customers OFF because she's so hateful to them! DON'T STAY HERE! IT'S RUN BY HORRIBLE PEOPLE.

We are loyal customers to this motel 2 times a year for the last 3 years for the nascar race at the rate of $200 a night for 3 nights! It is a dive dirty bedding bathroom door doesn't shut, bugs, musty smell cock roachs and now we are being told that the rate for tonight to other customers is $100 a night and when we ask for a refund the owner laughed at us! So to clarify they are reselling the rooms that other customers had prepaid and had to leave because the race was snowed out for yet another $100! The breakfast biscuits we think are the leftovers from yesterday at the bojangles across the street and the microwave has to be unplugged in between each use in the breakfast area.

This place is a dive. Holey blankets, no heat, bugs… we had to stop and stay because of a snowstorm in the mountains. They wanted to charge us $290 for the night… then discounted to $199… we finally paid $100, but $35 is too much for this place. Drive away fast.

If I could rate it negative 5 I would. Worst experience at a hotel. Where do I even begin. Not only was their a roach in the shower but there also were roaches in both bed and I saw several more while in the room. The sheets and pillows were not clean at all. There were holes in the wall. I tried to call the front desk and you couldn’t even hear the man at the front desk the phone sucks. The air conditioner has a big hole in it and it’s taped up with tape. I’m disgusted and I will never stay here again.

I've stayed here several times before and the rooms weren't bad at all… Today was a totally different story, the room was out dated, there were holes in the wall and bathroom, not to mention I've killed three roaches (one that was trying to get in my ice) … This room is totally different from the rest I have stayed in. For the price it's not bad and honestly I'd probably stay again but not the room I'm in. I retract my previous statement about staying again as a roach was just crawling in the bed, its 5 a. M. And I haven't been asleep for fear of bugs crawling on me.

Large clean room and very friendly staff. A great value at a great price. Ground are very clean and so is the office and breakfast area. I stayed 2 extra days visiting relatives. Very accommodating! Thank you!

For its size and price, it's really good. No nasty odors, scrupulously clean, and the staff are friendly and considerate.

I would not recommend this place! My boyfriend ACCIDENTALLY reserved the wrong weekend and this place WOULD not accommodate us and change the dates. His account was already charged! I would understand if they were booked solid but they was barely anyone there!

The people working behind the counter in the office were really nice, and the room was clean and had everything we needed. The price was fair. However, the cleaning lady was extremely mean and intrusive, banging on the door hours before checkout time, and just letting herself in. Extreme invasion of privacy that made me feel uncomfortable. If you stay here, make sure the do not disturb sign is on your door no matter what, up until the minute you leave.

Decent hotel for the price. Would stay again.

Room is old and dated, definitely needs updates. There is however a coffee maker and mini fridge. The bathroom has a busted toilet seat and very old, yellow stained wallpaper, but the bathroom was very clean for a hotel.

I took the little ones there to swim. It was a good experience for a very reasonable price and they really enjoyed themselves… it is not many places to take them for a good price!

I would only recommend staying at this place if you are going to the Martinsville race. It is so close you can walk and it's decent enough to sleep in. The hotel itself is nothing fancy and the staff is very unfriendly. They were very rude every time we asked for towels and would not bring enough for our family even though we asked for it. The staff even came in and messed with a few things in our room even though we left the "do not disturb" sign on while we were at the race. The continental breakfast is nothing special, just some cereal, oatmeal, and some breads. They will take advantage of you and charge around $200 per night the weekend of the Martinsville race because that's the only time anyone really stays there.

It was a pleasant experience rooms were very nice except no fitted sheet on bed made it hard to sleep sheet kept coming off location was good close to family service was good for the most part.

Clean rooms smelled fine. TV was a CRT though but good channel selection. Shower was good quality. Only thing was the breakfast was a little lacking but it could get you going.

The room was fine. The TV was very old. I was very impressed by there continental breakfast.

The rooms were very comfortable and quality was good. Certainly not something extravagant but was not expecting it in the first place given the area. So expectations were met.

Recently went to Travelodge with thirty high-schoolers and staff was very nice and accommodating. The location was central for our purposes and had ample parking for our school bus. Our rooms were clean, though had a musty smell and a few had dead bugs.

An inexpensive, nice, clean Travelodge. It was a hot day, and AC quickly cooled the room. And, the pool was great. Stayed 15-16MAY. No problems.

Bed bugs bed bugs they know want do nothing roaches never wash comforters nasty.

On June 11, 2011 I sent two gentlemen who work for and where in the area working on a job to The Days Inn Marinsville. There was a snake, most likely a rattle snake in their bathroom. Needless to say they left, but upon calling the next day to make sure there was no charge I found out that they had called the police and the police found no snake. When I said we had a picture and that it was there that they should continue to look they said we are not calling you a lier but there is no snake. Would not recommend staying here.

Dirty old musty. Nothing else to say other than had to pay more upon arrival than what was already prepaid on internet.

Was given one rate on the phone, but charged a higher rate upon arrival. Manager is rude and snide. Refused to honor rate and refused to refund my money. Room reeks of smoke, found HAIRS in my bed, some lights don't work, and roomkeeping came into my room despite a "do not disturb" sign. There are much better places to stay around here in the same price range.

Old room bad service TV with 8 channels coffee maker broke asked to fix on day one three days later nothing fixed. Definitely wont stay here again.
