The good: location is in a good spot. Close to several tourist areas and was on the way to one for me. Located in the middle of a small town that's nice. This also means it's pretty cheap to stay here. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly too. The not so good: if you are on the side facing the road, you will hear every truck and most cars go by. It happens all night. I put the AC and the bathroom fan on which drowned out most of the noise. Too bad the AC unit started struggling at 3 am. Needed to find a white noise video to play on my tablet. Pillows are also not comfortable. Needless to say not a great night's sleep. The breakfast is also disappointing. Eggs were an odd color and the breakfast sausage was just okay. The yogurt saved it for me. Would I stay here again? Probably not. But if you want a spot that is on the cheaper side, has a pool, and is on the way to wherever you're going, this is not a bad place to be.

Staff was unwilling to clean 1 room out of order, so that we could check in and get ready for the wedding we were in town for at 2pm. So we we're not able to check into our room until after the wedding, completely defeating the purpose of getting a room. Other people were able to check in but we we're not. Staff made no effort to help at all.

Didn't even want to give 1 star to this hotel, but had to in order to submit the review. Had a pair of athletic shorts taken from my room during my stay… First time it's ever happened to me at a hotel. The maid didn't leave her name on the room card, and was conveniently off the next day so I couldn't question her. I was only staying 2 nights for work and they were taken my first day I was gone. Rest of the stay was fine. Not really expensive shorts, but I was a little frustrated that something was stolen in general. Glad it wasn't my laptop or recording equipment…

Only one big negative… The faucet spouts throughout this location are way too short and don't reach far enough over the sink basins. It's impossible to wash your hands without bumping into the sink basins wall underneath the faucet spouts. I think the lobby restroom is the worst example, but our room wasn't much better.

Very spacious room and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was good with a nice variety of choices (eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal, etc. ) My only real complaint is that the faucet barely cleared the back edge of the sink, making it very cumbersome to use. (I had to gingerly rinse one hand at a time to avoid touching the side of the sink. )

Expected worse because you know it's not like the Ritz. But I am a poor girl lol. The beds are comfortable that's a huge biggie. The bathroom rocks it has 3 vanities in the room total to see yourself and a desk to sit at. The water is hot in bathtub and women love this! Please don't adjust that. Also close pizza Hut across the street was good like a sit in diner. Food was really good l. We went in the hot tub near the pool right away! Love this place. Front desk guy was sweet and helpful. They had a luggage rack and elevator. Nice TV stations. Pool towels were plenty and clean toilet to boot. Nice place. I just needed a place to stop in way to hike the mountains. Oh and Wi-Fi too!

Best Comfort Inn & Suites I've ever seen and been in and the breakfast is just amazing along with the customer service and staff.

Very pleasant and responsive staff. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Nice decor. Very clean throughout. The breakfast is decent.

Was in town for a Google training and stayed a night. Every person we talked to was so friendly. The room was super clean. The dinner recommendation was great. And at breakfast, we were told we has to go to the BBQ Exchange on the way home. Thanks for that! Yum!

Nice size room. Indoor pool and jacuzzi a nice plus. Restaurants within close driving distance.

Nice decor, attentive staff, and a convenient location. The rooms are well appointed and seem comfortable. Parking is adequate for the location.

Very nice hotel! Full hot breakfast; powdered eggs but they did have breakfast meats. Nice large dining area. The room was a good size also. We have no complaints with this hotel, we had a pleasant stay. Easy check in and out.

Less than ideal for rate. A typical comfort inn. If you get the average less than $100/night rate, you won't have a problem, otherwise it's over-priced.

Everything was great. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was really good, and the staff was very helpful. My only complaint would be the ancient elevator that takes forever to get there. We'd definitely stay yet again!

Nice hotel, stopped in for a night while traveling. Only issue I had was the room I booked said it had a king bed, two person sofa bed, and single sofa bed. The single was a chair. I ended up needing to get another room to accommodate my party. Not a huge deal but a little frustrating. I would stay there again if I am in the area.

The guest clerk Kendall was very helpful and was able to get me a room on the ground floor (#103). Everything was very clean & organized! I stayed there two nights, and just this past weekend, and will return 9/2/17. Price in the summer very reasonable, can't say enough about how clean & quiet this hotel was.

Comfort Inn & Suites has friendly staff. It is located right off of Rt 15 just outside of Orange. They have an indoor pool with a hot tub. It is always clean with towels well stocked. Will definitely be back again.

Had to ask three different times for a room that was not on the side by the highway or directly across from the elevator, but other than that the stay was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful, hotel is showing its age but is clean. Nice to have a microwave and small fridge in the room. Didn't get to the breakfast as we slept late. Appreciated the 24 hr coffee and tea and cold water in the lobby. They have a couple of gas grills in back and a picnic table in a gazebo, but unfortunately​ that is also the designated smoking area. Wished the whole property was smoke free.

We decided to stay vs. A long drive on windy roads in the rain. We're glad we did. The room was clean and the man who helped us at 2am was very polite and helpful.

Super clean rooms, friendly staff, and plenty of good breakfast food in the mornings.

Terrible experience. Spent a Saturday night with the family (including 5 month old baby) and couldn't sleep at all due to people gathering on the hall for drinks and chats, most of them drunk and loud. Called front desk several times, but they did nothing. Eventually tried to talk to the group of drunk people, explaining that we simply wanted us and the baby to sleep, but was laughed at. Following morning I tried to speak to the General Manager, Amanda T. Bullen, but she wouldn't received me or take my calls. I have been trying to reach her for the last 3 days, but she never takes my calls or calls back, even though staff takes my number and promises a call. Just saw that they discounted 10% of my credit card bill. A joke. The hotel is a joke, and that GM is a joke of a manager as well.

My stay at this location was nice and comfortable. It seems recently renovated, with fresh paint, carpet, amenities in the room. The staff were all friendly. The breakfast each morning pretty good and included waffles, pastries, eggs, bacon/sausage, coffee, juices, cereal, yogurt. Overall, if I had to stay in Orange VA and wasn't staying at a bed and breakfast, I'd stay here again.

Everything was great, loved the hotel. However, the pool was closed during our stay, which was disappointing.

The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff was great. The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been more dining options close by. We ate gas station food for most of our stay because we couldn't find any open restaurants near by.

I love the Comfort Inn. My brides have always been happy with their reservation and stay :)

Great place to stay. Nice accommodations.

I didn't use any of the facilities — so I cannot comment on them. The only thing that annoyed me was the elevator — this thing has to be the noisiest one I've ever seen. My room was right next to it and every time someone used the elevator it would loudly announce it's presence with a loud "BING". This woke me up every morning.

Great place. Comfortable floors, better bathroom ventilation than other hotels in the region. The pool was phenomonal, except it was only open from 9AM-9PM : (i must say the elevators were incredibly slow for only 3 floors. Great staff.
