My husband and I went there almost every year on our anniversary and they always make us feel like we are at home! Robert and Wanda are wonderful people! Delicious food! Our favorite room is Honeymoon VIP room (#7) is where we stay at every time!

Welcome place. Clean, friendly staff, nice dining room. $150 for single room. Room worth its price.

Something unusual. Feels like home. Owners are beautiful.

We had a lovely Mother's Day brunch. The food was delicious the service was good and the prices were high. 3 dollars for a patty of sausage They are located in the center of Lynchburg Va. I would go back but not often.

Went here for brunch on Mothers day. Very clean dining area. Staff was attentive to our needs on beverages but not everyone received there food at the same time and we had to wait. Food was very good when it arrived.

My wife got ready here the morning of our wedding. We took a million pictures of the first look and getting ready on the beautiful property. The large willow tree is especially nice.

We just had brunch at Acorn Hill. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Wait staff was very attentive.

Greeter was very welcoming and our waiter was very professional and welcoming. Our omelettes were decent but not great… a touch on the dry side and as if the ingredients were cooked apart from the egg and added later. Coffee was so so, but we are coffee snobs, so… take this comment with a grain of salt! Over all, probably would not again venture out of our way to Acorn Hill to have breakfast/brunch.

I was very disappointed with my first visit to Acorn Hill on Sunday, January 7th. They are clearly very unorganized and unprofessional. First of all, my friend had called them a few days before to reserve their large party room for her birthday brunch. They told her it would be available. However, when she showed up they did not give her the room she had reserved. Instead, they seated us in the main eating area and split our party up to different tables. Secondly, when I went to order our waitress said they were out of all the specials, including the chicken and waffles, which I wanted. However, people that came in and ordered after us ordered and received chicken and waffles. Thirdly, we had to wait forever for our food. And lastly, when our waitress brought the checks everyone else was brought their check in a nice cover, I was not. I don't know what the problem was on Sunday, but Acorn Hill needs to get their act together.

Good place to sleep and eat in the mornings. The bathroom was big and the shower had strong water pressure.

This is a great bed and breakfast! A unique and pleasant atmosphere with a first class restaurant. The quality of this location is so good brides use it for pictures! Highly recommend this place for a local getaway or for out of town guests!

Very nice facility. We were here for a vendor event and the owner of the salon was very friendly and accommodating.

Cannot wait to stay here. Their bistro was enough fun but want to come back for a weekend staycation.

I got a manicure, facial and haircut. It was GREAT! Everyone was nice and they did an awesome job! Love my haircut!

Have stayed there 4 times since April 2017. Great place, fantastic staff and owners. Looking forward to many more visits in the future.

Quiet & quaint. Clean and charming. Sweet down home hospitality. Stayed at the lodge 2 nights and ate breakfast both mornings at the bistro. Very good food too. We'll absolutely be back.

We attended an open house at this lovely property and the salon/spa looks great and the rooms at the inn are spacious.

We went to the Acorn Hill open house and toured the facilities. The rooms are spacious, the food we sampled was delicious, and the spa and salon look incredible. I look forward to trying their brunch and spa services.

Extremely friendly staff. Spectacular room quality for a surprisingly low price. Mostly everything you would need during a short or long stay.

This is a review for the restaurant, and not so much the B&B its self. The first few times my wife and I ate here was really great! They made a lot of stuff in house like the ketchup, and bread. They got their coffee beans from a local roaster. And their Sunday brunch came with fresh cut fruit and a pastry. Then one day things started to change. They switched to cheap Folgers coffee. The ketchup was store bought and the fruit in Sunday brunch looked like something that was sitting in a can for months. I was a huge fan of their Eggs Benedict. One day I ordered it and it came with Cheddar cheese sprinkled over the hollandaise sauce. I asked why there was cheese and was told that is the way hollandaise sauce is made. Not true. I always get EB when ever possible and have never had cheese on it. So they took it back and offered to make another. The second plate came back with extremely lumpy hollandaise sauce. At that point I just bit the bullet and ate it. Oh and they always seem to have new staff. Which makes ordering difficult because the new waitresses don't seem to know much about the menu or why anything has changed. I have never been their and have seen any one that was their previously. All this to say that I will not be going back here again which is sad because I all ways brought friends and family when they came into town.
