Enjoyed our stay very much however, the difficulty in getting to the Wi-Fi was horrendous. None of us were able to get on, some after getting front desk help. Never had that problem elsewhere. IMO, no need for that level of protection from Chinese hackers 🤨

Kudos to the front desk staff, housekeeping and maintenance at inn at va tech. Stayed there for graduation and the service was excellent.! Had issues w/ shower and it was fixed w/in 10 minutes of calling the front desk. Excellent customer service from the time we called for reservations all the way through to check out. Rooms were clean. Hospitality was awesome. Thank you!

Even when we arrived late at night and checked in after 10pm, the gentleman behind the check-in counter was so friendly, helpful and full of smiles. Kudos to the staff of The Inn at Virginia Tech.

I really dont know where to start. The entire place is spectacular. The bar is top notch, the staff treats you as if you were their only guest. I really had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place for any banquet or conference.

I had visited this place multiple times and this place is very clean and hygienic. Rooms are bit spacious, clean and nice. Coming to the buffet, we can find many varieties of tasty dishes of different kinds. They have a shuttle service, they can drop us at the workplace and pick up whenever we request.

The decor of the entrance hall and ball room was very classy. The entire place had a high end atmosphere as far as my shallow observations go. I hadn't any interaction with the staff there as far as I know other than bring directed to the ballroom. The reasons for a four star review are as follows: I am not in a position where I have visited thoroughly enough to give it a prestigious 5 star review, and the catering at the events I attended was good, but not better than say, the Virginia Tech campus dining.

Not quite the Washington Duke Inn, but it will remind you of it which is very high praise. The staff if among the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. We were passing through while visiting potential universities in the east. Va Tech wasn’t on the list of official visits, but we thought “why not just see the campus? ” Their concierge gave my daughter a full tour. You will not regret visiting this place.

Great location if visiting Virginia Tech. Within walking distance to a lot of resturants and down town. The Inn was very clean and neat, with excellent hotel staff. The beds are so comfortable.

An absolutely beautiful area to explore, both on the interior and exterior. I spend a decent amount of time walking around Tech's campus, and always like to loop around the Inn's property to enjoy the scenery. The interior is very tasteful and elegant, as are the rooms. While you'll often find the facility sold out for major events, it's definitely worth a visit during the slower days, even just to explore.

SUPERB staff. Especially Night Manager Maddux. Really helped us out at 3am! Excellent services and beautiful location. Stunning interiors and room was perfect. Plush pillows and bed linen and super thick curtains for blocking light.

The bell and desk staff were extremely helpful, and there is ample parking. The hotel itself was very nice and set on beautiful grounds with excellent views from every room. There is even a lovely seating area outside the conference center if you want to go out and just get some air. The food in the restaurant was great, though I'm not sure the dinner prices are worth the return. Definitely check out their breakfast buffet though! For less expensive options, there are several food choices about a 1/2 mile away.

Excellent hotel. I have stayed there repeatedly, and every experience has been fantastic. Clean rooms, quiet, comfortable beds. Easy driving access. The staff is very helpful and professional.

This is a great place to stay. The building is always clean. The staff is friendly. I've stayed here once with my parents and I had no complaints.

Fantastic facility to host professional events. Beautiful woodwork and classy Virginia Tech style are all over the conference center. We had everything we needed for our booth for the career fair we attended. Some minor problems came from the staff not being able to keep up with water or the provided lunch upstairs, but those were small issues.

Amazing hotel! I attended an event here and all the amenities were amazing. Venue was beautiful and sort close to VT. The staff we interacted with was super friendly. I would definitely hold my event here in the future.

Excellent food and comfortable meeting rooms. Very nice conference center, plus easy parking. The stone exterior is also beautiful.

Location is very nice. Parking is like a maze but it works. Meeting spaces appear to be recently renovated which is nice. I did not stay at the hotel part of this location so I cannot give any feedback there.

Nice hotel. Staff was mostly students and they do a good job. Very quiet location.

I had a meeting over a meal at the Inn. Parking is clearly labeled. The lobby was bustling with people and activity but an employee still took time to ask our party if we needed help; the restaurant is so easy to see from the entrance we did not need any. The food was well prepared; the service was fast and friendly, too. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.

Went on two separate visits, one for lunch with friends. The Friday lunch buffet was excellent. The pumpkin pie was the best I have ever had. Went a week later to look at and take pictures of the Christmas trees they set up in one of the main hallways. Very stylish and pleasant place.

I attended a company Christmas party at the Inn. The appetizers were excellent, especially the crab dip and baked brie. Dinner was also good and I particularly enjoyed the roast pork and butternut squash soup. The staff were very friendly and quick to refill drinks.

The Inn at Virginia Tech has hosted a number of company holiday parties, and they are always great. Their food is good, the bartenders are knowledgeable, and the decorations are very nice. I've also been here for brunch and Thanksgiving dinner, and I highly recommend both.

Upscale facility at reasonable prices and located on the Virginia Tech campus. Prices are quite competitive when compared to several big chain hotels 2 blocks away, just off campus. Numerous large and small conference rooms for events. Very nice top quality restaurant and cozy bar. They also host large outdoor adjacent to the hotel.

Visited for an wedding reception and the facilities were lovely. Good event space. The food was fantastic. I took two stars off because the staff weren't always the most professional when not directly addressed. Guests can still hear you talking about them when you think they arnt paying attention.

This time of year is my favorite time to visit. They decorate this place beautifully. Everyone is so nice there. Plus my son got to meet Santa!

Great accommodations. Nice large rooms, mine had a great sunset view over the golf course and Blue Ridge. Only complaint was that on Black Friday, during the 3rd quarter of the VT vs UVa game, they shut down the bar and stopped serving! How do you do that at the Inn at Virginia Tech? It should be THE PLACE to watch away games in B'burg. Oh well, price was right on a non game Holiday weekend and things were very quiet with students gone.

Still a good hotel, but food service is not stellar at the in house restaurant. We ordered a bottle of vino for the table and the waitress who tried to serve it did not know how to open and serve it. For rooms costing over $300 per night one expects more. Menu is understandably limited but no choices of sides with entree and you may want to ask about inclusions before ordering. Lighting adds to ambience but does not aid one's reading the menu.

The Inn is a first rate place to stay, eat, and/or meet with group large and small. The accomodations are great and the staff are friendly and excellent.

This is a wonderful place for a conference. The food is top notch. They recently went gluten free on all of their sauces, so it's easy for those with wheat sensitivity to get something good to eat during meetings.

I was here for a two day conference. Very nice conference center. Food is very good from catering system here.

Positives: Pretty & basically on campus which made if convenient to get to the football game and so forth — — — Negatives: our AC didn't work properly and even after having a person come look at it, our room remained hot and humid. To make it worse it was a hot weekend and our daughter got sick and the room seemed to give me a constant headache. We could even hear water dripping at night from the unit. With as expensive as our stay was, we would have been okay with the price if our room was cold and comfortable. Also the tub didn't drain & no microwave. Pretty bummed on our experience.

A great place to plan events of all sorts of occasions, whether they're for reunions or weddings. You're sure to have a classy Hokie time at the Inn at Virginia Tech.

The Inn at Virginia Tech is the perfect place to stay for your visit to Blacksburg. The hotel is located immediately adjacent to campus and leaves you walking distance away from all Blacksburg attractions. The rooms are all accommodated with modern amenities and provide for a comfortable stay. Additionally the restaurant, Preston's, provides outstanding dining options if you do not wish to venture far.

Very comfortable and reasonably priced. Food at the bar took a while and wasn't amazing, but stayed open for late traveler's.

Beautiful modern hotel and conference center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the bathrooms have double vanities.

We had our wedding in Blacksburg and booked a block of rooms at The Inn. All of our accommodations were exceptional. Our guests are still raving about the hotel! The staff went above and beyond, from helping us with our many bags to drying off seats after it rained. The shuttle also helped a lot of our unfamiliar guests get around the area. They even helped us out with soccer and footballs when some friendly pick-up games broke out on the patio. We could not have had a better wedding or stay at the Inn. Thank you!

The Inn at Virginia Tech has a distinctive old-school southern luxury feel with the high ceilings, sweeping balconies overlooking the floors underneath, ample lounging space, grand stairwells and intimidating double-doors. The decor it's definitely outdated, but given the overall design, idyllic landscape, and history of the area, it feels quaint… Very charming. I went for the American lunch buffet， and the special was desserts… Which were absolutely divine.

On the VT campus. Parking is plentiful and the building is in a beautiful setting. This is the third time I've had lunch — all three at conferences. Food presentation very nice and staff responsive. Food okay.

My wife and I decided to do a last minute trip to my alma mater so I could show her around campus and Blacksburg. We got married on Friday 5.19 and I made a reservation at the Inn just the day before we were to have our private ceremony and do a little honeymoon across Virginia. The entire staff at the Inn showered us with kindness and hospitality for our special night, even though it was only for one night! I was able to show my wife around town and we absolutely loved our room, a suite, in the nicest accommodations you can possibly stay in when visiting Blacksburg. Thank you and we will definitely be back again!

We unexpectedly needed a room in Blacksburg near the end of the Christmas holidays this past year and someone recommended this place. The staff were very nice and even offered us a reduced holiday rate. The room was adequate and what we needed which was basically just a place to sleep. We spent very little time at the facility.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are all helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Great location of visiting VT. We were able to walk to the campus. Also very close to a variety of restaurants and a CVS. Shuttle service available as well. Will definitely stay here again over the next four years for the convenience. The parent club discount makes the cost comparable to other local hotels.

Great location and service. The rooms are much more spacious than typically hotel rooms and are quiet at night. It is located close to campus as well, so everything is within walking distance (a shuttle is also available).

I attended a scholarship banquet. Everyone was very hospitable and extremely well organized. Name tags were given out quickly and orderly and we were given two drink tickets. Food was also excellent. Worst part about it was that the decor wasn't too stimulating but that really doesn't matter too much. I would give it a 4.7/5.

Beautiful hotel! I've attended 4 conferences there and each visit was extremely enjoyable. Great place for a conference! More than adequate conference space and banquet rooms. I counted no less than 3 conferences going on this last time. Exquisite decor and knowledgeable accommodating staff. Excellent attention to detail. I am planning a stay there for pleasure!

I went to a conferences here. The attention to detailed was phenomenon. The salines well comfortable and well-lit; the food provided better than anticipated; and all very well organized.

I got a sponsored event within the local and I was excellent. Great hospitality and the place was amazing. I highly recommend it.

In addition to the beauty of this place, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the food was delicious. I was there for a conference with my company so we had a great meeting room and the meals catered. Everything was top notch. I would highly recommend The Inn at Virginia Tech!
