Our stay was horrible. The “non smoking” room smelled like someone was in the room smoking as soon as we opened the door. The pool towels had what looked like ciagrette burns on them. There was a big black blob of some sort of goo on the shower wall. The sheets were like sandpaper. But worst of all there was blood spatter on the bathroom door and floor! I have pictures of all of this! We cancelled the second night and paid more to stay somewhere else!

This place is absolutely awful! When we arrived our reserved bedroom was gone, and we got offered a smoking room. We let the nice staff member named Athena know we could not have a smoking room. She gave us another room, and when we arrived to our room it was occupied! We then again went back demanding a different room Athena was very helpful, and she got us a different room. I will just say one thing the beds are awful the cleanliness is very bad. Whoever cleans these hotel rooms does not clean very well. The key to our hotel room stopped working. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at by far. We will pay more next time, and stay at a better hotel. Don't stay here save your money!

Our experience was many things, the clerk upon arrival was very unprofessional, we had to change rooms 3 times even though we made reservations at least a month prior and it was unbelievable that in the year of 2018 they charge you for Wi-Fi on top of everything else! I am not disappointed with the chain of motel 6's as we have had great experiences with them before. You get 1 star for having a working air conditioner. I hope you take these comments and do some adjustments because 1 bad review does go a long way.

I would NOT recommend staying at this location. I would not give it any star rating, but to post you have to select at least one. Make sure to read through all or most of the reviews before booking. I failed to do so and went off past experiences from other Motel 6 stays. The staff was pleasant, apologetic for the situation at hand. The location was easy to find and accessible to and from the freeway. However, the reservation was not upheld as requested and booked. The two rooms then recommended to us did not meet hygiene expectations. There were cigarette burns and stains on the bedding in both rooms. The counter tops in the bathroom and living space were terribly abused. It appeared that the shower was used shortly before we entered the room (the shower curtain and floor were wet. We were checking in at 11:50 at night). There were gross smears of some type of substance across a wall in both rooms. One of the pillows had various strands of hair (s) (not ours) on it. There were stains and stuff on the ceiling. One of the rooms smelled of old sour mop and cigarettes. One of the rooms were difficult to dead bolt the room to the outside street. You had to pay for Wi-Fi. To top it off, bugs surfaced in both rooms. We could not rest easy staying there and had to leave.

The light switch when I walked in didn’t work, the bathroom light with the fan kept flickering on and off the light over the vanity was half burned out. The outside door stuck and had to be shoved pretty hard to get it to actually latch. Rust stains on the side of the shower lip and a warped toilet seat. Police where there looking for a guest when I walked in to check in and the front desk clerk told me it was probably just drugs. Then told me about how there’s only been one murder there and it was a guy involved in gang/drug activity that was shot. As a woman staying alone it made me extremely fearful for my security. On the plus side the room did seem to have had the flooring recently replaced with laminate instead of carpeting which was nice.

3 out of 5 stars based on Motel 6 standards. I've stayed in Motel 6 over the country and I've definitely had way worse. Motel 6 is there always No Frills. + ⭐This one has the new renovation + ⭐I didn't have any maintenance issues with anything in my room. + ⭐The staff was friendly. — ☆☆My complaint is the cleanliness, specifically the Linens on both beds are either not properly being cleaned or not being cleaned at all.

After a very long day, I just needed to get to our room. Upon arrival, the lobby reeked of smoke, which is horrible for people with asthma or allergies. The credit card system was down and the staff informed me that they wouldn’t give me my reserved room without cash. I had to go to a gas station to an ATM and pay a fee. When I returned, there was a huge line. At this point the entire system was down, so they couldn’t see reservations or give out room keys. After a very long time, the system rebooted and we were finally able to get our room… over an hour after first arriving! Room was not very clean, and definitely needed renovation. No fridge, no microwave. For the cost, this was ridiculous.

I had booked a room online, I had a 2 bed bedroom. I put my card information in. Got to the hotel and the lady had told me it’s not promised to get a room even if you book it. The only 2 bed bedroom they had was a smoking room. So I ended up PAYING THE SAME AMOUNT for a one bed bedroom. It still smelt like someone had smoked in it. The internet was down there system was down so I did not have a very good experience over all.

I have not stayed at a motel 6 in years. I decided to try this one as it was close to a business I was meeting with. No complaints. They allow pets which is a must for me. Clean room and friendly staff. I felt comfortable nothing would happen to my vehicle. Hopefully if you are on a romantic getaway with your secretary, they won't let your wife punch your lights out! Lol.

A bargain compared to nearby Best Western. Like being able to park near room entrance. Ran out of toilet paper. Floor dirty, picked up dried dog poo from under air conditioning unit. Otherwise, all good. Appreciate allowing pets. The hard surface floors much more sanitary than carpeting.

The staff is friendly and attentive. The housekeeping staff actually care about the rooms being clean. The motel itself has no need for additional security. I have stayed at all the Salt Lake City properties, and this location is by far the best out of them all.

This is your Basic, Budget, and Convenient Motel. No hairdryers, shampoos, or tissues. Price is reasonable. The Frontrunner stop is about a mile north on the road in front of Motel. 2 great restaurants next door. Gas stations, new grocery store about 1/4 mile east of Motel and entrance to freeway right there. Also the neighborhood is good and safe. I agree Wi-Fi should be included in room price. Their cable is pretty good. The staff is in transition right now. New management, and some employees. Takes time to find and train a good employee.

This is a last minute, get by place at best. At worst, it's a little scary at night and even the non smoking rooms smell like smoke. It's convenient and the front staff is always helpful. A low budget motel, adjust your expectations accordingly.

Place is so clean, staff is extremely nice, room service is good, The doors are secure, parking is free and is so close to the room. They have a pool in the summer. Towels are clean, sheets are comfortable and clean. The only drawback is that they don’t have an iron for clothes. But overall, it’s a great experience for the price and I am definitely coming back again:)

There is no free Wi-Fi. It was a nice stay. I had moved so I came back to clean my house out that I was renting so I just needed it to sleep, the front desk people could be a little nicer. The lady had me on the top floor and I asked for a room on the bottom floor and she found one. That was a plus. Went to take a warm shower and it did not get warm at all.

Pretty much just the Bare Essentials here. No frills, no shampoo, no Kleenex but for what it was it was very appropriate. Room was clean and appeared to be recently updated with plank laminate flooring and a trendy color scheme. The staff was professional and friendly. As an added bonus they allow pets! At this rate you can't beat that :)

Excellent stay and staff was super nice and accommodating. The door had a plate that kept coming off. The sink had a slow drain. If it wasn't for those two thing 5 stars all the way!

The Google amenities was wrong. No not all rooms have a kitchen. But it was clean and the shower wasn't bad just a little small. Otherwise a good motel.

The service was pretty alright. It was weird: When he had trouble programming my key, he just disappeared to the back without telling me what the deal was. Only when he had to call his supervisor for a code, did I understand the issue. The room was fine, just cold. I really dislike the hard floors. Breakfast really woulda been nice. Even, like, a grab-n-go of dry stuff, like instant oatmeal. Noon checkout was very nice.

Had no choice but to stay here for 2 days while we were in transition between selling our home and buying a new one (our agent messed up the dates and put us up here) it would have not been my choice but it was the only place that allowed dogs. That’s why they get 2 stars. Otherwise it was funky. It was overall clean with a thin layer of film on everything. Like it was being cleaned but with something oily. The window didn’t open so it was humid and there was no way to air the place out. I asked for an extra pillow and they didn’t have any. Our toilet overflowed, we called for help… they brought us a plunger and left it at the door. There was dog poo everywhere and stray feral cats galore. I got out of there the moment that we could. For you out of towners, you need to know… this is a super safe area. If you are looking for a place you can go outside alone and feel comfortable, then this is an excellent choice if you aren’t a picky girl like me ;)

The room was clean and the crew kept up with the daily cleaning and towel replacement. I did not use the TV at all so cannot comment on it. The furniture is a bit dated. I would have liked to have some drawers at least. Looks like you are in the process of adding new mattresses and furniture tho. The price was OK. Always would like it cheaper :) there is a steady leak in the shower/tub that should be addressed.

Great spot out of the hellishness that was city center Salt Lake Comic Con (our destination), great price. There was some CRAZY TICKING going on in the roof above our room ALL. Night. Long. Perhaps psychotic clown with metronome. Please fix? Room 260. Seriously. Please freaking address this issue. Boyfriend not able to sleep. Love Motel 6 though.

Was in a smoking room. Was never told it was select rooms. We were under the impression all rooms had smoking. It wasn't until day 3 we found out otherwise, traveling with kids and stayed for 4 days, left with a headache. No other negatives. Pool was nice. Staff was nice. Laundry room fully stocked and worked. Parking was easy and even had two restaurants next door.

Motel 6 provided me with good service in an hour of need when my flight got cancelled and the airline was unable to book me a room. For a reasonable price, I got a clean bed to sleep on. Amenities left a lot to be desired, but I feel as if I got what I payed for. Would I use Motel 6 for a long term, major stay? Probably not. For a night in a pinch? Definitely.

I enjoyed my stay. One thing I always find deficient is the cleanliness of the parking lots and outside of the buildings. When I was there last November there was dog droppings in the grass right outside my door. I realize individuals are supposed to take care of that but sometime they don't. This time it was the fact that the pool was closed for a week because the chlorine pump was not working. I understand maybe not being able to get someone to come on the weekend to fix it but then it was closed the whole week.

It was a last ditch effert to find lodging as we only decided to do thus rather then leaving home at three thirty in the morning to make an appointment in Salt Lake City. Glad we found your location as it worked great. We like how modern — like this type of room was such as flooring rather then carpet. And to accommodate we were given a down floor room. Younger gal working the front was super nice…

We booked our room online en route to Salt Lake City based on its price ($69) as well as its proximity to both Downtown and the airport, and were happy to find it was even closer to both than we thought. The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, pointing out the amenities (ice machine, pool, laundry) as well as nearby restaurants that offer discounts to guests. Our room on the second floor was quiet and clean — in particular, the bathroom was spotless! The only thing lacking was a refrigerator, which was my fault since I turned down a room with a kitchenette thinking that it would have at least a fridge. I also loved that the floor was not carpeted and the furniture was mostly light colored wood or laminate, sort of Danish modern in style. Overall, a great experience!

My daughter stayed in the Motel 6 in Woods Cross, Utah. She called and told me when she checked in, and how bad it smelled. When I went to pick her up for dinner this evening, I went inside and thought I was going to get sick! It smelled so disgusting, it had a heavy urine odor. The outside looks okay, but the inside is so gross. She has to stay there two more days. I guess you get what you pay for. I thought they advertised that they were both clean and economical.

Clean EVERYTHING, like everything everything. But no fridge. Plenty of parking even I had a trailer, a small one. Like it. Definitely stay here better than within Salt Lake City. Better value too.

You get what you pay for. All we needed was a safe place to stay for the night, and we got that. But the room has a weird smell that seems to be coming from the air conditioner, there's dog hair all over, and cigarette burns on both bedspreads. Things I don't care about but others might: you have to pay for Wi-Fi, the beds are fulls instead of queens, the rooms look like they haven't been updated since the 70s (ours is orange & brown & white with wood grain linoleum), and the pool hours are 9a-9p.

I reserved and paid for a room for my mother and young daughter to stay a few nights while we packed and moved to our new house and it had a pool. I specifically asked for a non smoking room as well. My mother called me in a panic and utter discust it smelled like. Smoke has cigarette burns in tne comforor smelled like sex and had wet spots on the comfortor as well. She told me daughter not to touch anything and Im not demanding a refund and sending her to Comfort Inn and Suites or Hampton Inn. I was not intending to send my mother and daughter to a brothel.

You definitely get what you pay for… very basic… employees were friendly however loitering seems to be a problem.

We needed an immediate hotel when our son's home didn't have hot water! This hotel was close so we booked a room or several nights. The employees were friendly and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

Clean. AC on and room cold. Not a big room, but 2 beds and a bathroom and CLEAN room was all we needed for the night. Cable tv… free cofee. The area seems far better than other hotels in the area at this low price range. No bugs! Clean beds. Clean well light parking.

We chose to stay at Motel 6 because we were attending an event nearby and we simply needed a place to sleep. The price was comfortable. This was a no frills/extras kind of place.

All we needed was a place to stay one night. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV worked, and the heater was easy to operate. Lighted parking area appreciated. Everything worked, the mgr was pleasant and we enjoyed the stay.

This doesn't even deserve a 1 star! My husband and brother are working at the refinery close to this motel. They totally take advantage of the workers there. Didn't have a room with a mini fridge or microwave so when my husband went to the office to ask if they would heat up a bowl of chili for him they told him that their microwave is not for customer use. The rooms are extremely small and the walls are paper thin. There is no free Wi-Fi. It cost $5.00 a day for high speed internet. The rooms are $324.00 a week for a double and $360.00 a week for a double with a mini fridge and microwave, if they have one available, And that's the discounted price for refinery workers! What a joke! If you want clean towels then you have to go get them since they only clean your room once a week. This place is just ridiculous. The extra 15 minute drive to the refinery from another motel would be worth it! Oh, and when you do complain about something be prepared to hear from the desk clerk "What do you expect, it's a motel 6" They sure don't take much pride in their establishment!

Little disappointed that the room wasn't clean even at check-in time, which was at 3:00PM. I waited almost an hour before it was ready. Check-in was super fast though and hassle free. The lady at he front desk was super friendly. The beds could've been a little less squeeky, but were still comfortable. Overall, the stay was pretty good.

My husband & I felt that this hotel was one of the cleanest that we have been in. We were pleased, especially considering the price. The room was basic but suited our needs. We did not miss the frig & microwave, had not planned to use those anyway. We really liked the hard floor & felt it was much cleaner than carpeting. The hotel was in a safe area & easy to get to. We did have 2 complaints. The bed was comfortable but the fitted sheet was of a poor quality, bumpy & scratchy. The other complaint was that the toilet ran sometimes during the night. We reported that to management the next morning. We would stay there again.

Probably loud, sloppy, hotel I've ever stayed in. Dean at night was fantastic with customer service conversation and knowledge of the area. But the ice machine hardly works candy the candy machine is very old and melted because it's so hot in there. I think this staff deserves excellent and attend on customer service. But C daily cleaning service, doesn't have ears at all and will not until they wake you up even if you need to sleep in because of a late night at work. If you're trying to get rest to be functional I wouldn't count this is a good place. They said the ice machine is broken for 5 years and corporate refuses to get it fixed if they want the employees to earn a 10 on their scores all the employees care it was up the employees they would buy a new ice machine has a function for years and I won't be back. He left the light on for us that's obvious. I left the sprinkler on in one area for an hour and 45 minutes when we're in drought conditions. I was in shock promise that they didn't see the water overflowing. The women staff at the desk are fantastic have a great attitude, as well as Dean a well-qualified evening employee goes above and beyond the call of duty take care of the customer. I probably have never slept less comfortable in a hotel ever. Felt ripped off dirty and incomplete after leaving his place the opposite of the normal relaxing vacation…
