+Location was very convenient. We could walk to restaurants and retail places, and it was centrally located with regard to main highways and points of interest in the area. +Parking was adequate. -We expected the room to be minimally furnished; but there was only one nightstand in a double room! There were no upholstered chairs, no bureau or drawers, poor lighting, and no decorations. You could do a little better, even using thrift store items. +The TV worked well, and there was a good selection of stations. +The A/C worked well, a necessity in Ogden in a particularly hot July. +We are happy to report that we checked the room for bedbugs (Mr. Wells is a retired pest control professional) and found none. +We liked the pool. +We appreciated the complimentary newspaper. +Staff was friendly and helpful. This made our stay (17 days) more pleasant. We especially liked Michelle. -However, we were not made aware that we had to specifically request in advance the basic services, like making the bed, emptying trash, and replacing used towels. (!?! ) It was not until after I complained for the third time that I was told I had to request those services the night before. The only instruction card in the room told how to signal towel replacement (leave on the floor) but hang on the rack to try to use for more than one day (which we always did). No indication was made, either by room card or check-in staff, about requesting services.

We always use Motel 6 when travelling because we have a pet and love your pet policy and that there is no extra fee associated with renting the room — so thanks for that. This motel 6 — the bed was terrible. Every time I rolled over the springs were making noises and was not a good mattress. Also, I don't understand why some motel 6's have free Wi-Fi and others make you pay for it — I feel it should just come with the room. The staff was great! The location was also great! We loved Ogden.

Better than mostly Motel 6s in terms of noise. I think the smoking area and dog area should be moved towards the middle or back. Even the other side of the Motel. In front was not a good idea to me. The dog area is too close to the road and the smoking area was too close to the entrance, smoke affects my lungs so I start coughing (a lot). The night clerk was actively cleaning (I liked to see that, and it did look clean) and very friendly to me, I really appreciated that. The pool area looked small, but nice. A little rundown, but I really had the most restful night of my three days on the road.

I booked 2 rooms, one being accessible, at check-in I was told they had nothing for me. They then told me they could have a ground floor non accessible room for me in 10 minutes but took 65 minutes. The floors in the bathroom were dirty, the sink had dried toothpaste. Beside the bed was an extremely wobbley table which tilted over when I steadied myself on it causing me to fall.

Good location. Room appeared clean. Love the wood floors and reversed showers. Newly painted. Seemed really good. PROBLEM: I have bed bug bites all over the left side of my body (the side I sleep on) — arm, butt, arm, hand and knee. This shouldn’t be. I doubt I will stay at a Motel 6 again — depending on whether I feel you have taken me seriously. It is hard to give you feedback on some things as so much was quite good. But everything was trumped negatively by the bod bugs.

We stayed 16 nights. Everyone was so nice to us. Was very clean very helpful in getting anything we need. Our housekeeper was the best my girls just loved her.

I am extremely disgusted with this motel! I was in need of a room for myself and my 10 year old since our water pipe busted. I thought that motel 6 would be reasonably priced and very close to our home so I booked a non smoking room with double beds! As soon as I arrived and went into the office it smelled like an ashtray. I asked the clerk if the non smoking rooms smelled this awful and he said no they shouldn't but if they do he had a can of room spray to try and cover cigarette smoke! The room was worse with the smell and the bed spreads were stained up beyond belief that they would continue to use them! And when we turned down our beds luckily my son brought his blanket but there was many pieces of people's hair in the sheets with us. I just laid on top of the sheets and could not get comfortable so before my 5 o clock wake up call we showered and got out of there as quickly as we could. The worst experience ever and very disappointing! False advertisement with all the remodeling and up grades motel 6 has done. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Room was simple, but clean. They charge extra for those tiny shampoos, and prepare to PAY for Wi-Fi! Technically they have the cheapest rates in town… But the will Nickle and Dime you. Again, it was clean. The bed was fine.

Room in nice shape. Great area for dogs with doggy bags plentiful. Was a little disappointing because made reservations online for main floor, queen bed and non handicapped. Check in fairly early ie 4pm and didn't have a main floor with non handicapped and queen bed. Really needed main floor so took room with double and handicapped.

The Gm and employees are so nice and helpful. The rooms are all ways clean and very warm. Love the staff here and recommend all ways staying at this location.

Great place overall. The housekeeping people are nicer than your grandma, and hotter too. The front desk people are awesome and it's very clean and quiet. The vending machine prices could be better, but a 3rd party is responsible for that. I've noticed an awful lot of people come here with 5⭐ resort expectations after checking in and paying $45/night. Those people are dumb.

I have always been treated well at Motel 6. This time was EXCEPTIONAL! When I checked in (about 7:00 PM on 01/03), 3 staff members were incredibly helpful. 2 young women, and a young maintenance man, went out of their way to assist me! I was having a Wi-Fi issue, and they were MOST patient with me! AND… they solved the problem… Thank you! Well done! Sincerely, Robert G. Brown.

The rooms were clean, the beds were turned down and covers perfectly tight with the pillows fluffed. Comfortable bed, TV with satellite, a desk w 2 chairs, shelves — enough space to unpack for a 4 day stay. The staff at this Motel 6 were extremely helpful on all shifts and were very understanding even when I slept in the last night of my 3 night stay! I would give the staff 5 stars! I stayed to photograph the Mormon Temple, just a few minutes walk away. There is a Mini Mart next door, and within 2 blocks eateries of every kind, grocery store, and various other convenience stores. A good, restful, quiet stay for 4 days, 3 nights.

There was an aggravated assault while I was staying here, involving the room occupants next door to my room. Police were everywhere investigating the crime because it involved weapons and sent at least 1 person to the ER. Worst hotel stay ever, and the staff actually did a pretty good job at check in. I cannot recommend you stay here because of these events, and if you do stay here, you have been forewarned of my experience. I hope you have a better experience than I did!

This place always seems to have a few cop cars in front and more than a few times said cops walking people out in cuffs. A bit dicey to me so I can say that you have much better options. My opinion is all. Only been here once or twice and it was clean and clerk was friendly but if cops are always at your place then it's time to get to know the area and who's doing what in it.

I love how you allow dogs. We will choose your hotel in the future based on that fact. I also believe it would serve you well to provide a bag to those guests who say they have dogs. I believe the bag would serve as a friendly reminder that they are responsible to make sure they leave the area clean. The bags would be a small investment that would provide a big pay off for avoided problems.

Clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and took good care of our requests. Would have given a 5 star rating if there were more functional electrical outlets. 3 of us had to share the only 2 that were viable. We had 2 laptops, 3 cell phones and 1 tablet to keep charged up.

The staff working at the front desk was great. All three clerks I interacted with was friendly and helpful, and I think those people are the best feature of the hotel. Unfortunately, cleanliness was an other story. I have worked in a hotel myself and know how, for the sake of rentability, the housekeeping staff can be pushed to work always faster and faster, leading to a drop in cleanliness, not to the point to get hazardously unhealthy, but enough that you don't want to look at things too closely. When I got into my room, this is exactly what I recognized. I will add to this that some things in the room could get renewed/fixed, such as the bedside lamp that wasn't working, or the dented toilet seat… I was in room 207 and want to thank the employees for their work. General management/owner (s) need to step up their game though.

Do NOT stay here! This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. The bed spreads have burns and stains, the ac was falling apart, no refrigerator, towels are hard, no coffee pot, no iron, no shampoo and the most disgusting of them all… it's a ROACH MOTEL! The rug in the hallway is disgusting, reeks of smoke and dog urine. Not to mention the questionable people in the rooms. I had to fight for a refund as the room was paid for 4 days in advance. Thankfully, I only had to endure 1 day in this hell hole. No need to respond, as all you do is send canned responses.

The manager at this location was exceptional! I had left my beloved back scratcher in the bed as we hurried to leave. I called, it was found & the manager sent it to me immediately. Kudos to Michael. We always stay at Motel 6 since we have a dog & appreciate the no extra fee with her. But Michael was so helpful we will stay again as we travel to/from Colorado. Thank you!

It's very cheap, so you should know going in to sacrifice normal amenities (i. E. No coffee or shampoo). But the room was clean, had a bed, a shower with soap, towels, and a TV with a decent selection of channels. The parking situation is a bit odd but their are enough spaces. 4/5 for what it is (which I feel is what it claims to be, simple and affordable).

Very thin walls with gaps below doors so you hear everything all the way down the hall. Noisiest place I've stayed in a while. Hot water isn't hot. Stains on comforter. Sticky laminate floor. No tub, just shower.

Overall, it is what it is, no frills. But I appreciate the low cost for what the room is intended, a place to rest my head while out of town. Not looking for luxury and a big expense just to sleep.

I like this Motel 6 even though an older one. The price is right compared to other motels in the area. This is the 3rd time in a few times I have stayed at this one while in Ogden. I have been here 5 nights and have two more to go as I am relocating and waiting for an apartment to happen. Everyone has been very nice. Front desk, room service. Room is clean and comfortable. My only complaint is having to pay for Wi-Fi each day at $3.

Our experience was both good and bad. Making reservations was easy. I reserved 2 rooms, one handicapped access. When I received the email confirmation it showed only one room. Next day I called the hotel direct. They had the reservation but only for the one room. They added a 2nd and again confirmed one would be handicap. I was then attempting to get the new APP running on my phone and it just wouldn't work. I called support who helped and also looked up and confirmed my reservation (s) one handicap. When we arrived they said we had 2 rooms reserved but had no handicap room available. We insisted that we had been told otherwise, 3 times, and the general manager who was staying at the hotel that night kindly gave up the handicap room she was staying in (go figure). Other wise this a better hotel than some we have stayed in but definitely bare bones no thrills. Wood flooring in the rooms so no carpet to harbor smells or stains. A good thing. For us the location was very convenient to our daily destination up the canyon. The hotel sits on a busy street. Traffic is less at night but can could still hear the occasional car going by as well as anyone outside talking. Also, we clearly heard the room above us arrive around 2:00 in the morning. Much stomping. The elephant family as my wife put it. All in all it worked out good for us for a place to crash for 2 nights which is the only time we spent at the hotel. Oh! the electric sockets are a "loose" fit.

My fiancé and I called in a reservation from the road to stay at this place. We arrived around 10pm and were checked into our room. When we entered the room, we saw a giant spider on the wall (which isn't a big deal, sometimes bugs get in). However, there were several cockroaches on the floor. We phoned the lobby and let them know. They moved us to a different room towards the front of building. We entered the room and it was hot, a result of the AC not not working. There were also a couple cockroaches in this room too. We phoned the lobby again regarding the broken AC and cockroaches and were told that they would try to locate a room with a newer AC unit in it. After waiting about 10 minutes, the staff member knocked on our door and let us know that he had inspected the 3rd room and told us that there were no cockroaches and the AC was working. We went to the 3rd room and things appeared fine. It was around 11pm at this point so we just fell asleep after a long day of driving. I have always had good experiences with Motel 6 in the past so this experience was incredibly disappointing. I expect to have at least a clean room when I arrive, especially with a price tag of almost $70. If it hadn't been so late, we would NOT have stayed here. I probably won't stay at a Motel 6 again just because of this experience.

Motel 6 in Ogden, Utah on 15th and Washington was where we stayed. We stayed for 9 days after a fire at our house. All in all it was okay. Friendly staff and our dogs could be there. The Motel was older and kind of shabby, but they were doing some work to it during our stay.

Very clean room. Very nice staff including cleaning staff. We had items in the back of the truck and nothing was bothered. Police car comes through parking lot regularly.

Great price for a clean, basic room. Beds were comfortable, room had a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi is only $3-$5. Has outdoor pool, ice, laundry and vending machines. Parking is cramped and the neighborhood doesn't seem great at night, but it's close to Denny's and other fast food.

Bes was very uncomfortable. Sheets were so bad. Thin walls. Heard everything going on in the hotel for the night.

I wanted a comfortable place to sleep that would be near my planned activities and not create a negative opportunity cost. There were no frills but the room was very clean, there were adequate towels, the heater worked well, and the people at the front desk were great! Just plan on your own means of wake-up alarm; and bring your own tissues, and a pair of slippers in-case it's a cold day. It was perfect for the occasion.

Best place so far just to say iv worked at motels In the past but this one is 100000000 times better I smoke but got put in a none smoking n I really like tht it feels great to slow down on smoking my gfs lil dog love it here and I love it here since the first time I stayed at a motel 6 I only stay at motel 6 it the best just wish the Wi-Fi was free but hay gota make a living somehow but I do wish other motel was as nice clean as this one in Ogden it they r very nice to me my gf and my puppy.

Best Location and Price for Ogden. Motel has recently been redone. Simple, Clean, Convenient, Best Value overall. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Been here for 4 days and so far has been amazing. I am visiting from Washington and needed an affordable motel but the other options in the area don't look good and I've heard horror stories from friends. So I decided to try the Motel 6, and I am happy I did. The Staff is friendly and the lady Anne at the front desk is super nice. The room is clean and well beyond my expectations for the price.

We stay here every time we drive through Albuquerque. The rooms are clean, quiet, and the staff courteous. In fact, we could have driven longer, but decided to stay here at a place that's consistently been a favorite of ours. And they're pet friendly. I don't know if they charged extra for our dog, but the night stay cost in the low $50's including tax (10% coupon from Motel 6 email for use during Christmas holiday) for two queen beds. We discovered that the batteries to the remote were stolen, which caused the TV to not work (works only thru the remote). The man at the front desk replaced the batteries, made sure it worked before I returned to the room. Two other things I noticed this visit were trash thrown outside (indicates these customers were inconsiderate) and the people next door were loud (we almost notified the front desk). I'd recommend people stay here and we'll stay again.

Judged against other Motel 6 locations this is a 4/5 star. Modern, clean enough, flat screen tv, basic cable/HBO and friendly staff. The bed was very clean and comfortable. It is not ghettoized as some discount motels are and seems to be located in a location that is safe enough. You can't judge motel 6 motels compared to a motel that's twice (or 3x) the price because for all that extra money you get very little extras. So there's no breakfast, so there's no shampoo. Is it really worth an extra $25-$100 per night to have those things? I don't have my work paying for my room and I often stay with other people. Motel 6 stay means I can afford my own room and not go broke traveling. I hate paying more that $50/night ever. I mean ever. Motel 6 usually costs between $30-$50. They are also pet friendly! Lastly their app is the easiest booking that exists of any chain. You can compare prices to others in the area, book a room, and cancel by 6pm that day and not receive any any charge. Often (though I didn't try it at this location) they will let you check in as early as 6am if they have rooms clean. This is unheard of from even the nicest of motel/hotel chains.

Checked in and paid $2.99 extra for for internet. The desk guy explained that for $5.99 I could get fast Internet, which was "two and one half times faster". So of course my question was "Faster than what"? Desk guy had no, zero, zip idea how fast the Wi-Fi was, but assured me it would be fine unless I was downloading movies, etc. OK, whatever, how can they not know what they are providing? But, fine, I go to my room and run an Internet speed test. The result is 0.5Mb/sec, i. E. Dial-up modem speed from the 90s. So, I call the desk and request to be upgraded to the 1.25Mb/sec speed (two and a half times faster) but, unbelievably, he can't do that because my PC is paired to the 0.5 Mb service for 24 hours! But no problem, he sends me to Tech Support (they're located in Chicago). Guess what, they also have no idea what speed should be provided! None, zero, zip, nada. But just to be sure that this is the abysmal speed that Motel 6 intended, he resets the router and of course this does nothing. OK, fine, I ask him to disconnect my access code from my PC so I can buy the "higher speed". They are Tech Support right? He allows that in fact, he has no direct way to do that, but he tries a few things (gives me a backdoor IP address to the local Motel 6 home page, tries to trick my PC into getting disconnected by connecting my phone, etc) but nothing works. So so sorry, but in 24 hours I should be good to go! Have a great evening!

Modern, clean, great location, friendly and helpful staff, and priced right. What else would you need.

I paid $42 for a Wednesday night single, but the next night I stayed at the Sleep Inn just off I-15 for $60. I would recomend paying the extra $20. This Motel 6 is a bit run down. They need new carpet in the hallways and even though I got a non smoking room, I was woken up at around 2:00 am from cigarett smoke coming into my room from somewhere. If you smoke, and don't care where you stay, this place is probably for you.
