DONT recommend. My husband cut his leg open on a metal pole sticking out of the bed, they have refused to refund my room rate because I did not take care of this before I left the hotel. I was traveling with 2 kids and 3 dogs on my way back home to colorado and was running so late I wanted to deal with it when I got home which was the next day! I have pictures to show and the OWNER said since I waited to get home to deal with it that she will not refund my stay, the GM said they will only cover a doctor visit. Which isn’t required since it’s not a deep cut. Talk about horrible customer service and a horrible experience while traveling.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We were able to ride or SXS right from the hotel and explore many miles of the beauty that surrounds Green River Utah!

We have stayed in 3 hotels in Green River, this has been our favorite! Clean, pet friendly, nice staff and beautiful photos of Utah decorating the halls. We will be back for sure!

Well located close to the Green River right off the I-70 Business Loop. This one will no longer be part of the IHG family in the near future as IHG wants the owner to add on/ upgrade and it's just not in the cards for them. Clean, but a bit worn around the edges yet still functional. As usual, the included breakfast is plentiful with amazing choices and freshness. Front counter staff were friendly and helpful. Great coffee and juice selections ensure a good start to your day. Quiet location with ample parking and spacious grounds surrounding the premises… but, look closely if arriving after dark as it is a hidden gem with trees and shrubbery blocking your field of view while driving by and there is no well lighted sign along street curb to let you know you are there. Of course with navigation you'd probably be alerted with no problem. Street lighting is there but spaced well apart with no continuous lighted pathway and a bit on the wattage saving side so approach with caution as you turn off the beaten path.

Stayed 1 night while roadtripping with the family. Staff was pleasant and professional. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast had the usual Holiday Inn Express fare with 2 disappointing omissions. No cinnamon rolls were served and the pancake machine had an out of order sign on it. Update 1 week later: Unexpectedly stayed another night on the return trip after an accident closed the highway for over an hour. Breakfast staff exceeded expectations by bringing stickers out for my kids and engaging them in conversation. The out of order pancake machine was nowhere to be seen and had been replaced with a new waffle station. Major improvement in my book! Changing to five stars.

We always choose Holiday Inn Express on our road trips. They are always so clean and nice with a full breakfast. This one was no exception. A quality place to stay in the middle of nowhere.

We really enjoyed this hotel the two times we stayed here when traveling from Denver to San Diego this summer. The heated pool and spa are always a winner with my kids but we really liked talking a walk down to the river, taking pictures in front of the world's largest watermelon, and playing a geocache game of sorts in front of the museum behind the hotel. The hotel staff were really friendly and accomodating, even when my 3 and 5 year old daughters couldn't settle down at bedtime. They made travelling as a single mom so easy.

Very clean hotel which accommodated our extra requests (crib, linens). The breakfast was the usual spread for Holiday Inn Express hotels. The rooms were clean and well stocked and the hotel remained quiet throughout the evening. We didn't visit the pool but it was a good sized pool and conveniently located. The hotel had a business center and gym as well and several outlets in the room to charge our large number of devices.

Simple but quality rooms with good appliances, furniture, and Wi-Fi. Decent bathrooms, maybe in need of some updated showers. The bed and pillows were pretty great, and there was a full set of extra bedding available in the room. The facility is pet friendly, so there was minimal space in the room for a cat to hide. Really friendly and welcoming overnight staff.

Great service, dealt with my robotics team working in the lobby and the parking lot. Great complementary breakfast. Nothing but good things to say.

The hotel staff are very friendly and the room cleaning service is very good. The conplementary morning breakfast is good and so are the amenities. The indoor pool is open until 11pm. Overall, it has been a very enjoyable stay.

Stopped in to use the facilities while I charged up the car at the Green River Tesla Supercharger. Nice front staff, clean place. 10/10 would go again.

Rates are a little high but the best choice for the money in Green River. Good breakfast. Ok Wi-Fi. Clean. Pet friendly.

Comfy beds and clean rooms. We were able to check in early which was convenient. Their pet fees were reasonable. Quiet, well lit parking lot with a couple cute alley cats keeping watch! Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel with great photos of Utah National Parks in the hallways. No street sign out front. Easy to miss!

We stayed two night's so we could take a day trip to horse canyon and hiked into the great gallery. Great stay and even better hike.

Dirty sheets and see-through blinds. My husband and I stayed here for one night while driving from LA to Colorado. We arrived late at night and were both exhaused from the drive. I lifted one of the pillows and to my horror I saw two large stains… that were recently made and could have been washed out. I was mortified, but my husband just wanted to fall asleep and not deal with it. On top of that, the blinds were literally see-through. The lights from the parking lot were so bright we both had to sleep with shirts over our eyes. This is literally the worst hotel I've EVER stayed in. If I could post pictures on this review I would.

Decent place to stay. I did stay in an animal friendly room and there was a distinct urine smell in one corner.

Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Hard to see from road-sign is tiny and building only visible from one direction. Would stay again.

Clean, quiet and dog friendly. Great place to stay wether you're traveling along I70 and need a rest for the night. Or using Green River as base camp after long adventurous days exploring the San Rafael Swell.

Nice hotel in the middle of no where… Much more affordable than hotels in Moab for hiking trails. Just not much in the way of food options.

It was nice though I suspect that our room was used for pets as it had a slight odor, like trying to get rid of an animal peeing on floor odor. I could hear people above us walking too. Otherwise, it was nice.

The hotel was convenient to where we hoped to stay. Friendly staff and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was also good. Would recommend.

Do not recommend this hotel! worst hotel i've ever been to. I paid 190 for a king bed online and was given a double queen that was originally 160 a night and was told they gave me what they had left and did not offer to refund the extra amount I paid for a king bed! front staff very rude and unprofessional. Room was dirty, hairs all over the beds and shower, pool looks like it's been peed in. Disgusting hotel! I will never visit utah again!

Older hotel. Super nice guy at check in and we got in after midnight. Nice breakfast. I think this is the 1st Holiday Inn I've seen with a 11am check out. It's usually 12pm, from California to New York.

Good experience! Close to the highway, warm breakfast, comfy pillows. Breakfast wasn't fantastic, but it was complimentary. Nice patio out back to eat and unwind.

Comfy king bed, everything worked. Nice quiet AC. Window shades are motorized roll downs, dark and sheer. You have to fiddle with them to get them to move. Good restaurant across the street. Morning meal was good, but AC tripped in there so are outside. We watched bats and lightning outside after dinner. Quiet location, not traffic or truck noises.

Holiday Inn was the only great part of our overnight stay in Green River. The rooms were large and clean and the morning continental breakfast was okay (no waffle machine, but hot breakfast foods). The general area is no good however, very small town with limited food and grocery options.

Great hotel for a night with the dog. Staff were all friendly and gracious; the clerk offered me an upstairs or downstairs room when I checked in. Room was clean, hot continental breakfast, multiple Wi-Fi networks in case one is slow (it wasn't), and a large grassy area adjacent to the hotel to take out the dog. You do not have to call ahead to let them know you are bringing a pet. And, pet fee was only $10.

Excellent service and dog friendly. The hotel is rather nice. However the hotel's location does not have a lot of food places, so be warned if coming after 8 pm.

Not to par from other franchises. Lost power 15 minutes after checking in for 3 hours. Charging extra for standard amenities found in cheaper hotels.

The rooms were nice. The only problem we had was the toilet was clogged. They fixed it quick for us.

This wasn't one of the best Holiday Inn Expresses I've been to, but it was a decent choice in a town full of run down motels. No fridge or microwave in the rooms, and the pool was tiny. They made up for deficiencies by having clean rooms and attentive staff and a shower worthy of the old HIE commercials.

In the middle of no where, moving across the country on military orders was treated so poorly my family chose to pay doube elsewhere than give my money to them. Worst hotel experience of life. Booked room only to have them try to give me the wrong room setup when I got there, then was told they had given one of my two rooms away, only to be followed up with the manager telling me I was confused and they had no room setup like that in existance. Manager did nothing to resolve issue and proceeded to insult me to my face followed by further insults regarding me to my husband. Have stayed at many Holiday Inns over lifetime… clearly this one's staff needs extensive training before they ruin the hotel chains reputation with their lack of professionalism and incompetence.

It cost a little more than we planned to spend, but the rooms were clean, the location was excellent, and the breakfast was good too. Thanks Holiday Inn!

I was here on 6-27-15 Had to stay due to a horrible migraine headach, It was so hot outside, I have never experienced heat like that. The staff was great, the girls cleaning the rooms was so nice to me and there was a guy there doing laundry he was really nice and very helpful. The room was expensive, but very clean and new looking. I had a great 2 days staying there and would recommend it to everyone. ☺

I stayed here after a long drive from California on the way to Colorado. The room smelled, and my initial greeting was not one of the best. They had messed up my room reservation so horribly, that I had to give them a one star. There 1 800 customer service number is a joke. I called three times and was hung up on each time. After asking to speak with a manager. I will never stay there again. I warn everybody how dirty this place is. I would have been better off taking my self and two Kids to the motel 6 across the street for way less than half the price. I don't usually post reviews, but this time I had to. If you stay there do t say I didn't warn you.

We have over 130, 000 points and they wouldn't allow us to book our room with them. The girl at the front desk said we'd have to call the support line for points after booking. So we did and they said they couldn't use our points because the hotel was booked, but that we could call from the hotel and they'd be able to verify the room and use the points. So we drove the 20 miles out of our way to have the front desk girl tell us we couldn't. Now an extra hour later we are just driving the whole way home because they wanted $180 for a hotel in the middle of no where. The only good thing is they didn't charge us a cancellation fee.

The over charged my card by more than 20%. I’ve called multiple time and left multiple messages for the Manager (Diana) and they dodge me every time. I’ve been calling all day again today and no one will answer. If you don't care about customer service or your money this is the place for you.

Not sure what people expect in a small town like Green River. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. They've made some improvements. Clean room, comfortable bed, staff is friendly, free Wi-Fi and a free breakfast. It's all you need if you're just passing through.

I would stay here again. I stayed here as a one night stop over. With the price. — very pet friendly. — clean — showers had great water pressures — loved white sheets and white blankets. Again, very clean. — staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I recommend.

Not quite up to par with what I expect out of Holiday Inn; room was a bit misty and had a stale feeling, Staff seemed a bit aloof. Nothing terrible to report but not the most comfortable stay.

2nd stay. No microwave or mini-fridge (seriously? Even some Motel 6 have this. ) No ice or vending on 2nd floor. Desk staff parks in closest spaces. Overpriced compared to other HIE properties — not worth the $120. Beds too soft for my taste. No safe in room. Does have good cable, 32" Phillips HD TV with fully functional remote. Decent office chair. Except for a very dirty and damaged window, room was clean, slight musty odor. No evidence of bedbugs. Green River is not ideal place, prices inflated but cheaper than Moab.

We were disappointed with our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. We felt it was not up to the standards of the rest of the chain. We were first given Room 202, which is above the pool. When the jets were turned on in the whirlpool, the whole room vibrated. The desk clerk acknowledged this room was a problem when we requested another room, and were given a "non-smoking" room in which someone had smoked. The carpets throughout the common areas and both of our rooms were very worn and needed cleaning or replacing. On the plus side, the breakfast service was great: the server kept areas cleaned up after guests left, refilled items, and made sure that those famous cinnamon rolls were hot and plentiful. The young woman with blonde hair at the front desk was very courteous. All that said, there are no services (none! ) between Grand Junction, CO, and Green River, UT, on I70. This hotel is almost always filled in the summer, so plan ahead, but just don't expect quite the same standards as you will find in other hotels in this chain.

I was in a town 57 miles from this Hotel. I was near a Holiday Inn Express in the town I was in. I searched Expedia for nearby Hotels and for some crazy reason the one that was 57 miles away came up first. I made the assumption it was the Holiday Inn that I had driven by 2 minutes earlier. I booked the room without verifying the address. I had accidentally booked the Holiday Express that was 57 miles away. When I went to check into the near by Holiday Inn they said you have no reservation. We together discovered what the mistake was that I had made. Expedia called the Holiday Inn that was 57 miles away for me to see if they would let me transfer the reservation to the one I was standing in. The management said NO it is past 3 pm no refund and use it or lose it.

Nice, pet friendly hotel. Good staff. Decent breakfast. Will stay again. Keep fido on the grass or gravel because there are sand spurs out back. FYI Green River is small and the grocery store is closed on Sundays but the convenience store at the gas station is open.

Very nice! Very clean! Great pool and hot tub! Excellent hot breakfast included! Beds were very comfortable! NO BED BUGS! Will stay again over and over.

This hotel is brand new, and facilities are more luxurious than usual for the HI Express. Very large breakfast room with full hot breakfast (eggs, biscuits, bacon), fresh fruit, cereals, killer cinnamon rolls. Room was very large, quiet, with beautiful bathroom. Spacious parking, nice shaded patio in rear outside of the very nice indoor pool area. Very large fitness room. Our stay, although only one night, was perfect.
