Frantell who checked us in is the sweetest most personable person. Also, I have stayed at some really expensive hotels in the past but if Holiday Inn Express all have the same type of bed I will never stay anywhere else. It was like sleeping amongst the clouds. Literally the most comfortable bed bar none. Not too soft yet plush and comfy. I had the most comfortable sleep ever including my own home and that's all I really hope for in a room. And those pillows, wow! Did I mention a full breakfast with the room? Delicious. You have a customer for life Holiday Inn. Thank you

Quick booking and professional!

Here for a weekend softball tournament. They changed peoples rooms without speaking with them, with no options to adjust due to the hotel overbooking double rooms. Pool closed when it sprinkled. Only one lady at the desk to check in at an overbooked hotel, took over an hour to check in. Worst experience ever. Will never stay here again and will make sure other softball teams do not as well. Manager was not onsite. Rooms smelt like paint. Worst Holiday Inn ever!

Receptionist was rude. The pool was closed early for no reason. Worst hotel stay ever.

I love holly day inn hotel.

This room they gave me stank like cat pee. I called to get a new room and it smelled the same and was unclean. Lucky me. At $165 per night was insane. If I had gotten to town before 11 pm I would have gone elsewhere. I recommend you do the same. Don’t stay here.

I discovered yesterday that my credit card had been charged $163.32 twice for two rooms that I called and cancelled shortly after I made the reservation. I called back after booking to see what the room rate was and asked what time the pool closed and was told 10:00 pm. I was booking for an all star baseball tournament, and told them I needed to cancel my rooms because we were going with a hotel whose pool stayed open until 11:00 pm to give our boys time in the pool after their games. The lady told me that she would take care of canceling that for me, and I just trusted that it would be done because I’ve never had a problem at a hotel with someone not doing what they told me they would do. I called yesterday when I discovered the transaction, and was told I would have to speak to Ken the manager first thing this morning. I called and they said Ken was not there, but a man named Tim said he could help me in Ken’s absence. He very quickly told me that without that cancelation number that is given verbally, he couldn’t do anything about the charges. I have NEVER written a bad review before, but I read other reviews about overcharging and double charging errors so I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Courtyard Marriott did an amazing job with our large group of families and I would highly recommend staying there if in the area.

Horrible customer service and incompetent front office has ended up costing me almost $400.00 without ever stepping foot in this hotel. I booked rooms at four hotels in Victoria at the end of June for an all star sectionals baseball tournament. When I called to check group rates and pool hours, I immediately cancelled my reservation at Holiday Inn Express in Victoria for July 5-9 because their rates were higher and the lady said their pool Closed at 10:00 pm. I also cancelled at Homewood Suites and Victoria Hilton Garden Inn with no problems. I’m also realizing now I was quoted $109.00 a night and was charged $163.32 per room (2 rooms) for a no show fee. When I realized I had been charged yesterday, I called and was told I needed to call back first thing this morning and Speak to Ken the manager. When I called this morning I spoke with Tim who said he could help me in Ken’s absence. He reported that they should have given me a cancellation confirmation number, and without that the charges would stay. I recommend not staying in this location, but if you do, demand to have everything in writing. I have never had a problem with someone doing the job they were asked to do, but I have learned my lesson the hard way and will make Sure others don’t have this happen to them as well. We had a wonderful experience at Courtyard Marriott and I would recommend you book there instead.

A little snafu with which card was charged too for the room, but we were able to work it out. Room was clean, pool and hot tub were nice. Pool towels are insanely small. We would stay again.

Room had musty smell, breakfast needed help. Bed was comfortable. One of the most expensive hotels in Victoria expected more.

Such a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were so polite and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent.

Friends of mine were just in town for the week. I just stopped in there and visited with them for a few hours. And the place was very clean very nice maybe a little out of date. All in all though it was a very comfortable atmosphere. Very nice but laid-back at the same time. If I ever needed a room in Victoria I would definitely consider the Holiday Inn Express.

Have stayed at other hotels in Victoria and never felt welcomed. Not here. Location was great, rooms were beautiful and staff was wonderful and friendly. Definitely staying here again!

Great bed, quiet hotel, friendly staff. It's kinda tucked back, so on a dark rainy night you really have to trust your nav. If I find myself in Victoria again I will likely stay here.

We stayed for one night and were double charged for $50 over the quoted price. I called and complained that we were overcharged and that we were charged twice. I was promised that the manager would take care of it and I would get a call back. Next day they had reduced the rate to the quoted amount, but still charged me twice. I have now called them 4 times (they've called me 0 times) and they refuse to make it right, even claiming that I signed an agreement for an extra day! They also claim that I must have been there the extra day because they received a call from the room I was in! Seriously never stay here!

Nice rooms with comfy beds. But, they charged me for an extra day and claim that I extended my reservation. I've had to call 3 separate times and each time I'm told that the manager will call me back and she never does. It's been a week now and they still haven't made it right. I would never stay here again.

My reservation, which I booked a month ago, was canceled the day of without my knowledge. They had even charged my card. I walked in and the hotel is completely booked. The only explanation they had was a supervisor canceled it earlier in the day. Every single hotel in the area is completely booked. I had to go a hotel 30 min away, less quality, and absolutely no compensation was offered. Spent 2 and a half hours in the lobby waiting for an awful resolution.

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was wonderful!

Bed was stiff, but other than that very clean and in good shape, staff was good too.

Overall not bad. Not the best also. My tolit handle is broke. The shower head is a little lousy and the breakfast was just okay.

Nice room. Service has been polite and friendly. 10 — 15 minute drive to downtown Victoria. The one negative thing I would say is the water pressure in the shower was very light.

Holiday Inn Express, Victoria, Texas. Great rooms! Great service! The Free Breakfast buffet was nasty. Their 'one minute pancakes' we're cold and underdone. Also rather chewy! Yuk! Powdered egg mixture was what I believe the scrambled eggs we're made from. Dry as the desert biscuits that butter and jelly couldn't revive. The only thing worth eating we're the packaged oatmeal and fresh orange juice. If you are booking for the breakfast buffet, keep going. If you booking for everything else, great place to stay if you choose to opt out and go to IHOP down the road. Somethings the at are free aren't even worth free!

I think Holiday Inn is a great place! My family and I stayed there for a day due to Hurricane Harvey. Their shingles started falling off and it started leaking. I was okay with that because, that's what hurricanes do. As for the rooms, it had 2 beds, one bath, tv, table for laptop, and even a closet. I think Holiday Inn was the best hotel I went too. Definitely a high star rating from me!

Way better than expected. Awesome rooms.

The room was a handicap set up but was nice none the less. The bed was extremely comfortable. Only issue was at check in took too long and wasn't very pleasant. Not going to get in to detail but maybe the host was new or something.

I checked in today using a corporate rate because it was a rate and not full price my gold spire status had no bearing on being able to get a king sweat pathetic…

I gave a 1 star because I had to, the room smelled so I put a candle on, then the TV didn't work, I am a IMG Gold Card member, I asked to be moved and they refused, I asked again and refused again, I left, went to Hampton Inn, rooms did not smell and had a great breakfast, I will be at Hampton Inn every Wednesday this quarter.

An extremely nice HIE location. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The hotel lobby and check in area was immaculate and polished. The rooms are clean, smell fresh, and a great space. This location definitely feels a step up from the typical HIE location. Meets and expects the standards of the brand!

Really nice newer hotel. I stay here a couple times a month for work and the staff are completely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and complete with a mini fridge and microwave. Nice TV with plenty of channels. Great memory foam beds and a nice rainshower in the bathroom. A little pricey for a HIE — — my rooms run between $189 and $250, but as other hotels are built, that price should come down some.

Terrible customer service. Very rude. Over priced. Air never worked and to make matters worse we received bed bugs from here. Avoid at all cost. There are plenty of other nice hotels in the area. Stay there. We wont be back.

Price is high. Air conditioner is loud and doesnt cool room off.

Great hotel. I'm an IHG spire elite member, and the hotel management didn't hesitate to upgrade my room and treat me like a valued customer.

Excellent service, very clean, pretty good breakfast, great location & relatively quiet (our a/c was great but was a little noisy).
