Comfy bed, clean, quiet. The room service was quick and nice, but the pasta tasted like chef boyardee, I wouldn't recommend it.

The location was great! Just down the street from everything Victoria has to offer. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. We ordered room service and it arrived at our room very quickly. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with whatever we needed.

This property is by far the nicest Hilton Garden Inn I've ever stayed in. A great place for getaway. The front desk staff are super helpful. Some of the restaurant/bar staff could use more training in customer service but others are great. Overall, a great hotel!

We come to Victoria often and always stay at this Hilton. Clean, friendly and attentive staff. Food is awesome. Great Chefs. Love the breakfast omelets and Fajita nachos are perfectly tasty.

This hotel had very friendly staff. This hotel was in need of some remodeling, bit had a great atmosphere. They had happy hour 3 night a week. Although my bed was firm it still wasn't a bad deal. House keeping wasn't the best & I was there for 2 weeks but they kept thing pretty decent.

This is a very nice hotel with very good amenities. This is one of the nicer kept Hiltons. I had some special requests for the housekeeping staff and they made sure to follow through. Front desk help very nice and helpful. Beds are very comfortable and there is ample parking. It is conveniently located near the main Highway. Even so, the room was very quiet. I will definitely be back.

Always an excellent stay. I've stayed here many times. Both indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Plus the pool is one big outdoor/indoor pool, with a bar at one end. Always an enjoyable stay.

Super clean, super new, great facilities from the workout room to the restaurant/bar to the rooms themselves. Really happy to stay here. I usually go Marriott for points, add this was booked/paid for by the company I'm working with — but now I'm really glad I had the chance to try out a garden inn.

The place was very clean. The staff was kind and helpful. My only reason for giving a four star review is the bed being so firm. The pillows were pretty tough as well. I feel like I slept on a rock and I'm pretty stiff in my neck this morning. So 4 out of 5 stars, would stay again.

The Location was prime. Most stores and restaurants were within ten minutes away. The rooms were well kept, some may call it lavish. I didn't require much service asside from checking in, however it the staff member I spoke with was polite and professional. There was a bar and made-to-order kitchen. The food seemed a bit pricey to me so I'd assume the drinks would be too. Over all it was a pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very nice place. Clean and comfortable. Friendly front desk person. Had dinner. Wife's salmon was very good however my New York steak was almost too tough to eat. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

The best staff. Quite honestly the staff is what makes or breaks any hotel. Long stay and made me feel welcome and comfortable instead of like someone passing by. Nannette is awesome, made sure I didnt need anything in the evenings. All were great! Beds were comfortable, large shower was a big plus. Rooms were clean and food there was good. I'm not giving hype, they all made me happy staying there. Very clean accommodations also. I will be back.

Perfect weekend getaway. The kiddos swam all weekend in a nice indoor/outdoor pool with hot tubs. Snack Stand decent prices. Very Clean. Staff is very polite. Will Return.

They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE when you call to make a reservation! I don't want to talk to the call center. I want to talk to a real living person who is physically at the hotel! Why even list a phone number if you won't answer it?! I've called 18 damn times. 18!

Did a reservation drove 40 mins and they didnt have anything on file of me.

We stayed here for the UHV Family Weekend. The room was nice, staff was helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered room service food and drinks were delicious. It was quiet and clean. The cookies were mouth-watering. My toddler is a picky eater however he at those. Awesome stay!

Horrible arrive, TV was not working, Microwave slow. Horrible breakfast. Not a good stay. Never thought Hilton Garden Inn standard being so low.

Nice and friendly staff except for the cleaning lady one of the associate at the service desk. We were here at Victoria working overnights to help our company during hurricane Harvey. As soon as I got to my room I put out my "DO NOT DISTURB" sign. About 2 hrs into my sleep the house keeping lady bangs on the door and yells "house keeping! " I had a hard time falling back to sleep. I let it go the first time but it happened again the following day. On the third time it happened I went to the service desk to complain and the guy with the ponytail tells us there was nothing he could do about it. We asked to speak to the manager but he told us he was on Vacation. He was the only one who refused to help us.

Beware! If you are somebody who expects towels, blankets, and a robe at a Hilton. You will be extremely disappointed with this hotel considering I was just told they have no ropes, no blankets, or towels I can currently use. LOL what hotel doesn't have these basic things? I am so disappointed by the unprofessionalism of the front desk employee. You're telling me there's not one towel on his entire hotel that I can use? The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but customer service needs help big time. * after calling back down to the front desk, I spoke to a very lovely man named Jerry Who literally ran a blanket to my room.
An employee by the name of Bo, was very rude and unprofessional, and was the one who told me that they had zero blankets in this hotel.

The staff here is what truly give this place a 5 star experience. My stay was over Hurricane Harvey and the staff did everything they could to keep us safe and happy. We were treated like family. Thank you.

I attended a professional event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Victoria. It was the first time I had been to this hotel and it is absolutely stunning! It's very chic and stylish. It does not look like something you would normally see in Victoria. My favorite thing about the hotel was actually the lobby. It was so spacious and had lots of different seating areas small areas for personal conversations and larger areas for groups as well. The staff was most helpful and very friendly everything was impeccably clean and the design was beautiful. The hotel truly looked like they had just opened their doors to the public yesterday. There was plenty of parking at a variety of different access doors into the building. If I ever have a need for an overnight stay in Victoria I'll certainly choose the Hilton Garden Inn. I recommend this lovely hotel for both professional events and personal overnight stays and events. Five stars!

I have a meet up here with my home business every Thurs. @ 6:30pm. It does not matter who is on staff, they are always very friendly and welcoming, and no matter if there is 5 or 25 guests at my events. The food is ALWAYS delicious! We will continue meeting in this professional atmosphere ;-)

Solid hotel, great amenities, friendly staff… nothing wrong with this place. For breakfast it isn't free (like at Hampton Inn's) but it is definitely better. Expect for when my onions were replace with olives in my omelet. I also didn't like my toast on top of my omelet where the cheese melted on to my toast.

They would have gotten 5 stars but the breakfast was a comedy of errors. NO ONE new what was going on. We got out breakfast but could not get silverware it was unreal. We asked three times and they kept saying you will get it, well we finally went and found some ourselves. Then they brought us the wrong breakfast. The staff are really nice Jerry at night was so kind. Rooms very clean. The pool and hot tub were great. Just because of the breakfast I still would return.

I stayed at this hotel when it first opened and the customer service and hospitality was exceptional. Upon returning to the hotel for another stay, I was sadly.

The rooms are very high quality and the beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the cleaning crew does a good job at keeping the room neat and clean. There are a good selection of restaurants close by and the mall is not too far either.

I needed a venue a day before an event due to miscommunication at another venue. The ladies and other staff members at the Hilton went over and beyond to get the venue there ready for me. I would highly recommend the Hilton to anyone needing a venue. They also have great food and wonderful bar area, a must place to visit for lunch or dinner or even a place to relax and have a drink. Thank you again to the staff at the Hilton.

Was told to try the dinning part of the this place. You walk in, there is no direction to the place beside a front desk for the hotel, nobody greets you, the wait staffs appearance look like they have been wrestling each other in the back. You sit yourself or basically find a table that is cleaned off, we grabbed menus that were just laying around, one of the wait staff passed us twice before we had to tell her we needed a waiter. Watching the other wait staff, it is very obvious they have never waited tables anywhere. The specials are written on a small dry eraser board somewhere up front where you find the menus laying around. Google — waiting tables 101, it is very informative if you work in Victoria and are a waiter or waitress. 1. Serve food from behind and to the right, remove from the left. Do not hand hot food across the table to a customer! 2. Bring water and tea with you to the floor and pour it behind and away from the customer. 3. Bring menus, utensils, drinks and straws to the table The food was a joke, here is a sample from their menu of their mac and cheese. Pasta slow baked with a blend of our four cheeses crumpled garlic and bacon — herb crumb topping. It was KRAFT MAC N CHEESE FROM THE MICROWAVE! Asked for A1 steak sauce, got Heinz 57, no problem, it was nearly empty, I had to shake it to get anything out of it.

This is a new HGI, and it feels very upscale for an HGI. Staff is great and dinner here is surprisingly good. When I go to a hotel, there are 3 things I look for: Clean rooms (no stale smell, etc) — check Comfortable bed — check Really good shower — check I stayed there for a couple months (Mon-Thur) for work and it really is top notch.

The manager was only able to refund half of the amount even though the reservation had been canceled on time. I received no confirmation number or email that day and we were still charged. Please beware, there are plenty of nice hotels with nice staff in the Victoria, TX area. Just don't stay here! — — — — After consideration and a couple phone calls, the manager and hotel decided to approve our refund. Please be aware if you call the hotel directly for a reservation or cancellation, make sure you get an email confirmation. We didint have either, just a credit card charge a month later. The hotel is nice and should be considered as a place to stay in Victoria.
