Horrible experience. Grossly under staffed. Took two hours of waiting to get into the room I had reserved. And they were NOT BUSY! The bikes were not maintained and that wasted even more time as we had to air up all the tires and then the seat was falling off of one of them so they had to find another one. (I had reserved these while the room fiasco was going on you would THINK they would have them aired up and ready to go but this was the condition they were in waiting for us). Then the evening meal time was a joke. After the bike ride which was much later than we wanted because of the room fiasco and no bike maintenance, it was now 7:30 and guess what… not a single restaurant on site including room service would serve us food! Funny now but not when you have a hungry 8 year old. So luckily we made it over to the “pool bar” and had a lousy hot dog for my husbands birthday at the bar. I guess food is food but this is ridiculous! That was the ONLY food available. Then the next day I just wanted an extra hour for late check out as I had a spa appointment at 10am and the lady says sorry we can’t honor late check outs as we are preparing for guests! Ha! I explained the situation and how we didn’t even get in our room until after 6pm because they kept messing up. The she says… did you arrive late yesterday? Omg I almost hit the deck. I “arrived”at 3pm and this whole mess was NOT my fault. This place was under staffed and clearly prepared to blame their guests for their own mess ups. NEVER AGAIN! Horrible experience. Thumbs down.
