Whole experience was terrible from time we checked in to the time we checked out. Elevators did not work and we were located on the fifth floor, TV's didn't work, credit card overcharged ($100 difference from reservations not including $50 hold), manger and new employee literally arguing in front of us about who needs to be answering the phone while checking us in. Hated it all!

This hotel is one of the nicest and cleanest I have stayed in, the staff is so nice and very helpful. My room was so nice and very spacious, honestly one of the biggest rooms at a hotel I’ve stayed at. Very comfortable and friendly environment. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a Hotel to stay.

We love this place since we can drink and walk to our room. They have changed their menu at their restaurant and their meat and cheese tray is surprisingly good. Restaurant and bar staff are better than before and are great. This would have been 5 stars but then the staff at the check in desk are not up to par. Check in was slow considering there were a total of 4 ppl in the counter.

Not sure why the good reviews. Hotel is old and very rundown. Not a good place to stay if you want any quiet time at all. Was kept up until 3 in the morning by people yelling and screaming every night. Key cards quit working 3 times in a four night stay each time taking them over 45min to fix while I sat in hallway. I would never return. Good spot if you like to party or sit in the hallway. Room was decently clean but very rundown.

Very nice staff and a beautiful layout for the hotel. Room was spacious, quiet, and clean. The bed felt like a cloud and I slept deeply all night. The staff went above and beyond to provide a quick to-go breakfast for my group since we were leaving before it would be served.

My family recently held our family reunion at this location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza Suites. Everything was superb including staff hospitality, cleanliness, food, and hotel accommodations. The breakfast buffet is excellent and has a good variety of foods. Made to order omelets were delicious. The group sales representative, Samantha, was excellent and worked with me to make sure we had all the accommodations and meeting spaces we needed for my family. I don't typically, enjoy hotel food, but the feast that Chef Joey provided for our banquet meal was beyond delicious. The banquet room did get a little warm (we had a large group of 82 and it was over 100 degrees outside), but the engineering department responded quickly and took extra steps to make our stay more comfortable. The sleeping rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and has central air conditioning. Beds were comfortable. There is plenty of space on the first floor to sit and relax with family and friends. I will definitely be choosing Crowne Plaza Suites for future stays.

Nice experience! The staff was very accommodating, especially to my 10 who had plenty of hospitality questions. Suite was clean, food was well priced and pool for the kids was a hit! Thank you from the visiting Ohio family.

The area ended up being sketchier then we wanted. The lobby area was nice and clean, and so was our room. First problem is we paid to have breakfast at the hotel. So we go down to get breakfast and give him our room number. Apparently though the front desk was supposed to give us vouchers and we had to go get them. This might not seem like a big problem but there was a conference going on. And we had already waited in line to get breakfast. So then we had to go get our vouchers then it back in that ridiculous line. Then when we tried to check out there was one group ahead of us. But that group decided to chat up at the front desk with all their friends passing by (again conference). And the front desk person just let them stand there (cause they still needed to be helped) but the line was growing for the front desk. Finally 20 minutes later these people realize there is a line for the front desk, finish their business and move. The employees did nothing, management walked by and they did nothing.

Not deserving of any stars… This was a roach infested hotel. Walking in the room, we immediately counted 7 roaches crawling on the wall. We're not sure how many more were hidden under the mildew smelling carpet. They were a bad representation of the Crowne Plaza brand. I gave it a 1 star because otherwise it would not allow me to post. I would have given it a negative 3 stars if I could. It ruined our friends birthday celebration. Not happy.

Two Words — Bed Bugs… Spacious and older charm… the bed bugs did it for me though. Then the hotel staff tried to offer me a $20 credit for the inconvenience. Just ridiculous. I took pictures before leaving the hotel… 8 bites in all from one night's stay. Ugh! Also, they charged me for a second day without my presence or approval. Took 2.5 weeks for them to finally process the refund. Just don't do it. If its cheap, there's good reason.

We used to like this hotel, the rooms are big and spacious and it is pet friendly. However, parking is an absolute NIGHTMARE and it has been getting too noisy if you go on a weekend. The hotel has an event venue and they have no control over the parking. The last time we stayed on that hotel, we spent more than 20 mins driving by the parking lot, we got so desperate and asked the front desk what’s going on. They told us they had an event, and that we should park at the restaurant across the street for now and later on in the night move the car to the parking lot when the event is over. UMHHH NOPE… If the event guest are eventually leaving. Why don’t they park by the restaurant instead of us waking up during the night to move the car? No thanks, not coming back.

Stayed at this hotel Monday thru Friday. Upon awakening Wednesday morning, found myself to be covered (literally head to toe) in terribly itchy bites: repairing to my room mid afternoon, found a nest of crawling, biting bugs between mattress and headboard. Showed this infestation to manager who promptly informed me this was due to former guest's dogs; and stoicly informed me every hotel had pest issues (therefore I should expect this? ). I was clearly frustrated, and very angry. Was offered comped meal/drinks: because that forgives all manner of itchy, inconvenient hell I've experienced, right? In summary, have plans to stay here? Bates Motel would be a better suit.

Very Disappointed. Stayed Here A Couple of Weeks ago and Everything Was Fine. But I Use My Free Night Stay That I Accumulated Through Hotels. Just To Be Lied To And Giving The Run Around By Lazy Disrespectful Staff. We Mainly Liked The Hot Tub. That Was Actually Hot A Couple of Weeks ago. Today 4/27 Seems like Everything is Broken down Or Not Working. Hot Tub Is Luke Warm and I Get An Attitude When Asking about The Situation. Two Hours later… After I Asked For Cooperate Number, I Finally Get A Answer that The Hot Tub Was Down. Strangely To Say There's A Group of Men That Happened to Be Of The African Descent and They Too Were Experiencing The Same Rudeness as I When Asked Simple questions Regarding Difficulties On The Property. Not A Good Look. Im Pretty Sure That This May Be My Last Stay Here. Plus After Reading The Other Reviews I Should Have Known Better Than That. Not To Mention The Same Repitiius Responses. If You're Not Going To Make it Right… Why Even Respond. Just Check For Yourself To See If Any Of These Responses Sound Like They're Actually Going to Make It Right! … My Free Night… WASTED ON THE CROWN PLAZA!

Nice place an has really big rooms. An has balconies on ever room an from inside kinda net different style of building. Has nice indoor pool an hot tub. I would definitely go back.

Horrible experience, will not book again. Front desk was rude at times and my biggest complain was the WATER. The pool and hot tub water was was green, dirty with grease bubbles all 3 days of my stay. I filled the room bath tub and the water was also green and smelly. Also, the water shut off for a while during my stay and I was charged so much in taxes on my final bill just for all their amenities that you may not even use like the bar, restaurant, breakfast that is not free etc… 2 of the 4 elevators weren't working all weekend (at one point 3 of them) so elevator rides took so long because of everyone waiting. We also had to repeatedly return to the front desk because their room keys were not working… I also bought ice cream & soda to go at the bar and crossed out the tip, the total was $6 but my bank statement shows that I was charged $8 so I guess they will take a tip regardless. Don't go here.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures. This hotel is outdated. From the time we arrived for the weekend in April 2018 it went from bad to worse. 2 of the four elevators were out of service, ac in our room was bad and noisy, bed was very uncomfortable, water pressure in the shower was horrible. Topping it all off, the morning of departure while showering at 6 am, my long curly hair was lathered up with shampoo and the water shut off in the entire hotel! My husband was told no clue why there was no water and no suggestions for his wife. After 8 bottles of water the shampoo was gone and so were we. NEVER going back!

I loved it. Clean tranquility. Good service. Friendly people… especially the girls of the restaurant Margarita and Cintia, the chef Sr Carlos very friendly and attentive very good place to rest. The ladies Q Clean the rooms very helpful. Thank you good service.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and smelled nice and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the room! Free parking is also included which is getting harder and harder to find in Houston.

Was very disappointed. First of all, I did not book this hotel. It was booked for our youth conference trip well in advance. We were told and assured that our rooms would be on the same floor and very close to one another. When we showed up our rooms weren't ready and they were spread all over the place. So upon arrival, we had to wait with our youth in the lobby for an hour, around 11PM, just to get things somewhat in order. We were still on different floors but thankfully we had enough chaperones to stay on each floor. On the way to the room there was a heavy dose of weed smoke on our floor. Our room also had a strong cigarette odor. The walls were patched all over the place. The door to the room had two windows on each side looking out into the hallway! So when you get in your room you have to close the privacy curtains so no one from inside the hotel can look in your room! I've never seen that before. The bathroom was not clean, to my standards anyway (i. E. There were pubes still in the bath/shower)! I digress. Don't stay here. I'm sure you can find a comparable hotel with better standards for a reasonable price.

Had a girl's night birthday sleepover for my neice. Rooms were nice and the pool is what they loved the most. The kids had a blast.

The suite was beautiful. The living room was large. The food in the restaurant in the lobby was good. Unfortunately I was unable to try the breakfast buffet. But I would visit again!

It was dirty with mysterious wrappers under pull out bed and headboard not cleaned. There are lots of crevasses and old electrical outlets for potential bed bugs to hide in. It appears nice from pictures, but it felt pretty disgusting.

Big & comfortable rooms. Lots of amenities. Bed was firm. No fan or trash can in the bathroom. Fridge & microwave in place. My daughter loved the vanity. Great food at restaurant, but pricy. Watch out for the Houston hotel tax, it's high. Beautiful layout. Good security.

Decent older type room LOTS of space. Definitely a fan of the beds. Ordered some southwest egg rolls but they were out.

I will give the staff five stars. The hotel is a different story. I decided to stay here after a quick Google search and after reading the reviews. I clearly did not read enough of the reviews. The pictures online are images of the hotel in its glory days… and those days are gone. Here is what I encountered: — one of the elevators on one end of the hotel was broken, — our room smelled awful, we tried to air it out by keeping the patio and lobby-facing door open while we were in the room, nothing worked to get the smell out, — at about midnight, while walking to our room, an overpowering stench of weed and cigarettes was coming from the room near us, — our bathtub was clogged so we couldn't even take a shower without dirty water and hair coming up from the drain, — our neighbor came out screaming and swearing at her children at least twice and told them to go back to their own room… they were like five and eight years old.

Clean with courteous staff, a gas station across the street and beautiful lobby that offers a restaurant and bar so need to leave your hotel for food and drinks. Doors separate the living area from the bed and there's 2 T. Vs in each suite (1 for living area/sitting area) and 1 for the bedroom. The kitchennet is small but does have a fridge. Very pretty building and lobby area with glass doors all around the elevator so you can see out as you ascend and descend.

Best hotel I've stayed in so far. Management was nice. The people were friendly and helpful, the grounds were clean and secure.

The hotel was great. Easy-to-find and the in-house eating options are pretty good. They have nightly happy hour and I got free breakfast buffets in the morning! I recommend staying here if you're in the area!

I called 3 time to get my refund. " We call you". Really!. Please double check — they will charge you, and third party charge you. Took one month to resolve. It not the third party who screw up.

This place has pluses and minuses. Location is very convenient. Suites are good size. In-room amenities are above average — toiletry products are organic with essential oils, comfy bed, quality sheets, excellent pillows, Turkish bathrobes, … Much better than expected at this price point. Also friendly, helpful staff. However the hotel itself is very dated, well worn but still well maintained. Dirty mustard color. Threadbare dark brown carpet laid over uneven tiles was very disconcerting. Wrought iron railing that doesn't look like it would hold if you stumbled and fell. And the worst, almost bad enough to overwhelm all the positives, was the stench. Heavy use of Glade deodorizers to cover the embedded smell of stale smoke from decades gone by. Another downfall is the parking. Lot is nowhere big enough for the number of rooms. So don't get back too late on the weekend or you won't have a spot.

This was a really cool hotel. Very clean, and very helpful staff. The rooms have everything you'd expect, fridge, microwave, great shower, great bed, a good TV. That's a great restaurant down in the lobby, they also have a full bar.

I liked the hotel but the beds were uncomfortable, like my back hurts uncomfortable and when I booked it said free breakfast, ended up paying $50+ for a half decent buffet then I was told would have to purchase another buffet to take a muffin with me. The noises from pool were loud our second night, personally I would not recommend it. The cleaning staff was very nice though, took front desk half a day for extra blanket. Bar can use some improvement and the free Wi-Fi was impossible to access. First and last time staying here!

I could go on and on. I strongly recommend keeping your receipts. We've stayed for a very long time, the company kept renewing our reservation every week or so. Anyways they "lost" our cash deposit and it took forever to hunt it down. Luckily we kept all the receipts. Oh and this is a pet friendly hotel! Very nice staff. The food at the restaurant is good as well as the drinks from the bar. I recommend the breakfast buffet when you book. They do have high chairs for little ones.

Day one of an unfortunate week-long stay. It's one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in some pretty rough places). It's tired and dingy. The room was not fully prepared — had to ask for hand towels and washcloths and then wait hours for them. The T. V. Selections are the most limited I've seen — doesn't appear to have local channels. My choices last night were Family Feud or CSI — otherwise I could explore another language because most stations were in other various languages. The Internet died out mid-evening. The coffee pot is designed so that the handle and cover don't match the spout — a bit of a metaphor for the place. Add this to the fact that the rooms are an exhibitionist's dream — solid wall of glass windows facing the lobby. Creepy. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay.

The room is was clean and nice, but there are a few things you should know: The balcony is very small. Even if breakfast is included in your stay, you will need a valture from the front desk and you do not seat yourself and you may feel obligated to tip your waiter. The hotel will charge a $50 "room deposit" on top of what you pay for the room and they will hold this $50 48 hours after you leave. It was safe, clean, and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was good.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Houston. The room was a suite with a separate bedroom and living room. Very roomy, mini fridge, microwave, and sink. There is an indoor pool which was great because it rained during our stay. This is an older hotel and it shows. The staff tries to keep it up but some things even they couldn't hide. Overall it was a good stay because we had children with us but I would choose something more upscale for adults.

Easy access to Sugarland, medical center, the galleria, nice place, clean and very quiet.

The hotel itself is great. Pros: The rooms are very spacious, and the facilty has a somewhat luxury feel to it. Each room has a mini balcony. Not big enough for much sitting but nice for some fresh air. The indoor pool was arranged nicely. Overall the whole place felt clean. Cons: bathroom in the King Suite felt a bit cramped. Also, there was a problem during check-in. (Hotel's fault) Had to wait like an hour to get things completely sorted out. They did however compensate with free breakfast and late checkout. Gabriel, the guy at the front desk, was very professional even when tensions got high.

Best place to stay if your visiting from the Rio Grande Valley to get easy access in and out concerts, events or nightlife without dealing with heavy traffic

The place for the price was nice. I only stay for one night but was very clean and if you need internet this well fast.

Water went out. Night falls and room is freezing called for assistance 3 times. Over an hour later someone comes to let us know only some sections of room have heating! Have had heat set to 90! Over 2 hours only down to 63 degrees… from 61. Not even worth complete sentences!

We will definitely be back in less 5 minutes and we already had the keys d the room and without reservation.

I had a experience very good, I liked the service, the size of the rooms the pool the food at the buffet everything very bun service and hospitality.

The staff was great! Our initial room only had one king size bed, so the manager gave us a complementary room next door, and we were able to link both rooms using the door. It was a great experience. Would recommend.

Excellent 2 room suite. No wired internet, but fantastic Wi-Fi. Tasty breakfast as well. Be sure to book it included! They have chicken stripes for some reason, but it's a welcome change for breakfast. I'd bring some to money though, as they have a server bring you coffee and bus the table.

While I was only there for two nights it quickly began to feel like home. Edgar, the night manager assisted us the best he could with the dificult situation we had with Groupon. I'll defintely be staying here again if I'm in Houston. Everything was very clean, staff in general was kind, but the food they served was at best decent. Stayed on the fourth floor. Walls were a little thin, I could hear the TV from upstairs a bit but the bed was comfortable enough so it was ignorable. Overall I would recommend staying here, it felt like a second home.

I would absolutely recomened this place to everyone! I stayed here for two nights, and had no problems at all. The staff is amazing, the rooms are nice and spacious, and words can not describe how excellent the costumer service is. When I first arrived here, there was an issue with finding my room reservations, not the hotels fault at all. Actually if you are using Groupon to book ANY hotel — don't. They are the worst to work with and kept giving me a loop of "we'll send your information to the hotel in no later than 30 mins" and I waited 3+ hrs before anything happened. It was during that time that the manager (shout out to Edgar) was supper understanding and helped us out. He went ahead and let us into our room (before having any confirmation of our reservation) and treated us like human beings. It was greatly appreciated after the long drive I'd took to get there. They called on our behalf as well to get the information from Groupon and were able to deal with that hassle for me. To my surprise this place ended up feeling like a home away from home really fast. They even comped our breakfast for both nights to make up for the confusion, even though it was not their fault at all (Groupon). Long story short this place is amazing and will work with you as long as you are willing to work with them. Expect to be treated with the same amount of respect you give them.

The location was very convenientl considering that it was a good 5-7 minutes away from the Harmony Central Office where I was attending the 2016 Turkish Speech Contest. The rooms were very nice and me and my friend were very excited to be staying there since we had the suite all to ourselves. I would say it's very spacious and I like the dividing of the rooms from the front. Service was helpful and nice, especially in the morning when we were going to breakfast. Seeing that I was bit young, the lady there thoroughly and clearly explained the usage of the complimentary breakfast coupons we had which I thought was very kind of her. In conclusion, it's a very nice place to stay at and the overall aura of the place is high class but with a relatively cheap price. I really enjoyed being there, even if it was only for night. Hope to be back soon :). (Also, the TV's in the room offer free international TV so we spent our night watching Chinese news channels and a TouchQ gameshow on Arirang TV)

Food is "excellent" in this particular hotel. I found the atmosphere of the establishment to be very enjoyable and friendly. The staff was very accommodating. However, I wasn't overly impressed with cleanliness in the rooms — i. E. Restroom walls and shower stalls. Possible solution… get rid of the 4"x4" shower tiles in the rooms that have those particular tiles. They don't clean well. That's just my opinion; but overall I enjoyed my stay. I'll be back!

The manager suck customer service suck the room suck the pool suck. Then was good was the breakfast other than that the whole hotel need to be demolished yeah hookers on the top floor just just don't make no sense absolutely disgrace expected better.

The room was nice and clean. What made my experience the most memorable was the staff! It had been such a long day, and when they greeted me at the counter it was like they made me feel welcomed. Thank you! Adam at the bar was Awesome also!

Went for leisure for the New Year and was absolutely disgusted with their amenities. The pool and jacuzzi did not have chlorine. The pool and jacuzzi water smelled like a dirty restroom and the water was filthy. Bartender didn't know how to make drinks. His reasons were because he was a manager filling in as a bartender. We were told by the reservation line that drinks would be $5, the hotel did not honor. We absolutely hated our stay and would never recommend anyone to this property.

Decent decor. Horrible staff! Led by the facility manager Kareem, who apparently knows nothing about about customer service. He was very rude… I would go into detail but I'm getting upset all over again. From this point forward, I will only sleep at and recommend Starwood Hotels like The westin, Aloft, Sheraton, ect. Maybe your company can learn a thing or two from them.

I stay her quite often and love this Hotel. Some of these reviews I have read by freeloading public who just love to complaint is completely bogus and they need to get a life!. The Hotel is beautiful the staff is the best I have ever encountered and the suites are spotless. From the welcoming smiles to the genuine caring attitude shown by everyone at this hotel is phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable. All I have to say to all Y'all is STAY WITH ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE.

Terrible hotel, a complete rip off. The room key failed to provide access to the swimming pool area. I am vegan vegetarian, and they have very poor food options. The breakfast buffet had practically nothing I could eat, just the fruit, bread and oatmeal. I asked for soy milk, they did not have any, so yet again I had to suffer black coffee, I hate that. I asked for peanut butter, they did not have any of that either. Crappy place. Over priced.
