Review of Extended Stay America Suites - Houston - Katy Freeway - Energy Corridor 2*

At first glance it looks nice from the outside. Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at and still stuck here till I can locate a room nearby available. How do I hate thee let me count the ways. 1. Roaches 2. Contrary to the website rooms remodeled about 20 yrs. Ago. My guess, New flat screen TV does not constitute a remodel. 3. Service sucks waited 20 minutes to get a new key while they helped others that were after me in line. 4. Keys — supposed to stay here 21 days and key only works for a day. I asked if they could program key for my entire stay and was assured it was. But No today it was bad again. 5. Broken phone reported 2 days ago — Still Broke 6. Reported Broken Mirror in bathroom (had to wait 15 minutes so I could talk to GM and he ignored me. 2 days ago — Also still broke and sitting on my bathroom counter. 7. Drawers and cabinets in room broken. 8. AC Sucks — Can never get it down to 70 degrees in the room. So it runs constantly. 9. Broken TV remote. 10. Good luck trying to get them to even empty trash can let alone make the bed. 11. Cigarette Burns on almost every surface including carpet. 12. Room filthy afraid to take off my shoes. 13. I have been asking for an ashtray since I got here. GM said he would send one right up 2 days ago. So I cornered a maid and she gave me a sugar packet holder. If that is not enough to deter your stay — Go for it I could go on for sometime but getting tired. Oh This is the first time I was ever mad enough to write a review. I Travel a lot for my job and have for over 20 yrs. Now. But this place SUCKS.
