Great place and wonderful staff!

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip. This has been my third time staying here and I absolutely love it. Check in took about two minutes and I was on my way to my room. The staff is very friendly (but not the fake friendly that a lot of places have) and helpful. My room was very clean and smelled very good. Pillows were soft and the mattress was comfortable. I am sure the TV works but I never turned it on because I used my phone. I was able to connect to their wireless network right away and got about 12Mbps. They have a car that will take you anywhere in downtown and although I prefer to walk, I ended up using this service because it was raining the entire time I was here. The car is a Maserati so if you have never been on one this is a nice little perk to staying here. The room I stayed in was the classic King and there was a king size bed, a couch and a little table for me to work on my laptop. The view was nice but I really don’t consider view when choosing hotels I just want a nice place with a nice bed. Bathroom was clean and the shower was nice. It has a nice bathtub but I don’t like taking baths so if that’s your thing I am sure this will be right up your alley. I have already booked my next reservation and will definitely continue to stay here and definitely recommend it if anyone else is looking for a place to stay in downtown Houston.

Amazing service! Ilya helped me sort out sending my Manager a gift and was so helpful and accommodating. She needs a raise! I asked to pay for it and she said it was complimentary. Great service, super friendly and thank you for taking good care of my manager and boss while they stay there!

I got our room on Expedia for a really good price. I want sure what to expect because I've never stayed at such a nice hotel. We will definitely stay here again. Wonderful service!

Just stayed there for quick business trip. Was blown away at the decor and layout of the place. Super clean and very friendly staff. Great gym and pool set up as well. Ended up being in a bit of a hurry to check out and left a few items behind on accident. Called the hotel once I had got home and they located my ``'lost`` items and worked with me to have them shipped home to me. Special thanks to Nerina Murica for going out of her way to help a wayward traveler! Could not have asked for a better hotel experience. Thank You!

This hotel was better than I expected. It is centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The bar staff was great, the check in was great and the room was better than I thought it would be. The only draw back was that the AC didn't cool that well, and even after I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up it wasn't any better. It made for a not so pleasant sleep.

Nice hotel, good quality rooms with all needed amenities, very clean. Gym is adequate with towels, fruit available. Pool is nice, but had summer rain all week! No breakfast but Starbucks closeby. Easy walk to convention centre. Door men very polite. Even a courtesy car for short trips offered. Left something in hotel but was dealt with well by management. Exceptional service hotel, much prefer supporting small hotels than big soulless hotel chains. Hope to visit again.

Staff was top notch and never said no to anything. The door was always opened for us with a greeting and a smile. Was given a complimentary ride in a Maserati to and from the baseball game. The gym was pretty small with just a few treadmills and a couple of dumbells. The pool was a little small as well and got pretty crowded on the weekend. The tablet in the room to order room service stopped working on day 2. No other complaints and would stay again.

Beautiful, immaculate and delicious. These are the words to describe the hotel, the staff and the food. High quality with great atmosphere and top tier service. An oasis of class, taste and elegance.

Rooms are a perfect 5. They are well appointed, very spacious and exceptionally reasonably priced particularly for downtown. The roomservice prevented me from awarding 5 stars — it is billed as high end French, the price and offerings matched, but the execution did not. The service was fairly quick and accommodating but it just didn't make up for the limited offerings, price, and taste. Had the pork, salad, and Salmon Benedict. Would only recommend the salad. The service at the hotel bar was so poor that I eventually left without receiving the wine list I had been promised 10 minutes prior. Hotel also apparently does not believe in wines by the bottle which I consider an absolute necessity. However, if you are going just to stay and not to eat or drink I would highly recommend it.

For someone who has traveled to 17 different countries, I know a great hotel when I stay in one. I loved the elegance, class and old European style of Hotel Alessandra, mixed with the luxury of their services. I also loved the contemporary but minimalistic style of the hotel decoration and the comfort and details of our room, with the tub and the foldable mirror doors being my favorite. The view was stunning, especially from the highest point of the hotel and I loved the different amenities, from the pool and gym with a rooftop view, to the relaxing Spa, cocktails at Bar Bardot and fine dining at the restaurant Lucienne serving continental European cuisine. Their concierge services were also precise at ensuring that all the guests had a memorable, comfortable and convenient stay, from the iPad placement in the rooms for room service, to the constant kindness and friendliness of the door man Muhammad and bell hop Naty. They also had distinctive valet services like being able to communicate with them so your car is always ready before you get down to the lobby and their complimentary car service that chauffeurs you around the city in the Maserati. For me it was a night out with my girlfriend but for others it can be a place for an intimate event with family, a business meeting with colleagues, a pamper day with spa and happy hour with your best girlfriends or an epic moment like an intimate engagement with loved ones.

I just stayed at the hotel this past Saturday and it was a dream! Check-in was easy. One of the bellmen, Lawrence, is a gem! Beautiful hotel with old world charm that meets modern sophistication. We dined at Lucienne for dinner, and had a wonderful experience. I recommend the crepe, while the husband loved the scallops. We also had a wonderful in-room dining experience for breakfast. I thought that all the staff went above and beyond my expectations. Will definitely recommend, and stay there again.

The Hotel Alessandra is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are lovely. I often travel with my group of boys to concerts in the area and they are in love, as well. The service is impeccable from the valet until check out. Last weekend, they drove the boys to their concert in the Maserati, which they LOVED. Nati provided excellent service and was fun to visit with. All that said, it would be a wonderful place for a romantic getaway or just to spend some time seeing what downtown Houston has to offer.

A truly immaculate hotel. The staff and service is friendly and prompt. The rooms are gorgeous and unbelievably clean/new. Lawrence helped us up to our room and went above and beyond to welcome us to Hotel Alessandra. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun stay in downtown Houston!

Recently went for a girl's getaway. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The pool and gym were perfect and the rooms are truly amazing. The adjoining rooms we had were each slightly different enough to add their own character. The doors leading the tub or shower to the rooms was genius and architecturally so creative. I do not even know where to begin to describe how delicious the food was. The 6 course meal was like no other and the presentation of the food… straight out of a magazine. I would go back and stay every weekend if it was possible. I am so glad we were able to experience this new hotel and the amazing staff!
