I have been here for 6 mo. S … it is home to me and I love it. Ppl trashing this place is because of their own demise during their visit. A lot of unhappy f e. M. A. Ppl. Getting kicked out for acting like animals. Ppl not taking care of their kids (in a nice hotel) just letting them run wild grab all the breakfast items take them to their rooms for snacks later on. I truly felt sorry for the owners. It's the ppl. Not the place. I think they are fantastic.

A/C went out last night at my house. Got a room at the Pinewood Inn. The desk clerk was very nice and the A/C in the room I got worked really well. Beyond that, it was not a place you would bring your family.

Owner is friendly. Maid service was great they didn't bother me unless I requested. Gave me privacy.

My BFF works here and she is awesome so this place is awesome by association.

A little pricey but has it's perks. Nice pool.

Very nice and clean. Housekeepers are very energetic, hardworkers that make sure our needs are met. Surely. It wouldn't of been this GREAT at Garden inn.

The owner Rodney is super nice and tried to make sure everyone is satisfied. I stay with a friend in room 210 and he has been nothing but caring. I appreciate the hospitality and concern he shows.

I'm still staying at the Pinewood inn and I've gotta tell you it's the best place I've been to in a very long time. Not only is it clean and friendly. But the owners go out of there way to make sure that you are well taken care of and are comfortable. I have 4 kids and they have made sure that my family is good and have even givin me and my wife jobs while here so if that's not hospitality I don't know what is. My hats off to the owners. Oh my gosh, GREAT place! Rodney, the man at the front desk was SUCH a blessing! He was willing to work with our budget and he actually upgraded our room for free! The room was clean, bath room/tub was very clean and the bed is SUPER comfortable memory foam! Will definitely be coming back here and recommending this hotel to others.

Came to town late at night, stayed one night in this place and cancelled our second nights reservation. The room smelled like a old ashtray, shower knob was broken off, I slept in my clothes hoping I didn't get infested with bedbugs. Seeing the facility in the day light… wow! Crazy looking people just hanging outside their room. Not a good look! Never again!

104 dollars for a single room… REALLY? What a rip off… we rented a room before the hurricane for 58 bucks. The manager of this place is a biggest drug head and is making drug money by charging 104 a night. Do not support. And as far as getting a response from the owner… DON'T BOTHER. Your service says it all.

My mom and dad evacuated here for hurricane Harvey. They raved about the service, the cleanliness and their overall stay. The beds were great and if they needed anything the staff was there within minutes. Thank you Pinewood Inn for taking such good care of my parents!

The owner acts like he's on drugs. Told us we could pay nightly, as our house has 8 feet of water in it, and that he understood what we were going through. Banged on our door 7 times at 8 this morning asking for money or he was calling the cops. He's very rude and has no sympathy even while we are going through a flood. He is no way a manager he is a rude man.

Decent rooms, friendly staff, nice pool. Don't let the look of the lobby detur you. It needs work. But everything else is real nice and remodeled looking.

Prices are high but it was clean and quite.

Rodney the innkeeper is wonderful. He works at night renovating and he lets me help when I'm bored. He even wants me to bring him unpolished samples of UNpolished granite from Everyone. David Brown. Georgia Granite Elberton Granite. David Brown Peter de Kok from Gran — Quartz International I worked there. I was in the process of finishing college and before the Art Institute of Atlanta.

Made reservations over 3 weeks prior to trip. Reserved 'Budget Triple Room' that sleeps 6. Got e-mail 4 days before trip stating 'we are sorry but the room you requested is not available for this date, please choose another room. I called the hotel immediately and talked to 'Lindsey' and was told that I was not the first person that called and that apparently their computer system was going crazy. Assured me that I was down for that room. Pulled up Saturday to check in (if the rooms were any thing at all like the office this was a blessing because it smelled of cheap incense trying to mask wet musty moldy ceiling full of holes) and was told that room wasn't available that he had 'e-mailed me' and I confirmed that he did but that I also called and was told that this room was indeed available and it was reserved under my name. He offered two Queen rooms and I explained that would not sleep 6 people. He said adults and I said yes. He said the triple room did not sleep 6 adults but 3 adults and 3 children. I said that your room description does not state that… it states 'sleeps 6'. He said well it wouldn't be for the price quoted… I said okay. He said well that room isn't available. I said so it was over 3 weeks ago when I reserved it but now it isn't but I was told I had the room… I then said so you gave it to someone and he said no… we left and went to LaQuinta where everyone was nice and accommodating and am so thankful they had a room available at the last minute.

The staff, management are all super nice. Only place I've ever been to have them go out of there way to greet you and bend over backwards to please you.

I had a reservation for an overnight business trip. I did not stay! I'd rather sleep in my car. The room had a horribly strong offensive odor that almost caused a migraine during the minute or less I was in the room. It was supposed to be a nonsmoking room, but reeked of smoke, mildew, and some other offensive funky odor that I couldn't place. The exhaust fan in the bathroom had toilet paper stuffed around the edges and hanging down from the ceiling. The hair dryer handle had been broken off, but it was still hanging right by the sink with wires sticking out everywhere. The door when closed had a large gap all the way around it where you could see daylight. It was the most disgusting room that I've ever seen.

They people are there do not help of wait on you if you need something. If you are not the railroad customers. Then you get treated as second class. I recommend go to motel 8
