Personnel are amazing… good value… great place.

Came here for a one night stay. Turned into a whole lot longer. Aaryn, the gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

A smashed bug on the wall right at the door not cleaned off. Toothpaste on the wall. 1 almost gone roll of tissue. Toothpaste spatter on mirror. Front desk clerk offered to leave her post to come clean but it's not her place. She had customers. It should have been clean before I checked in. For $86, I expected better.

Clean room and bathroom. Very nice and accommodating staff.

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you for providing a superb experience!

It's rare I enjoy a hotel as much as I did here. Beds are so comfy. Staff is inviting. Accommodations for pets was amazing! And the soap was lemon grass zesty. Such a beautiful and relaxing stay for my husband and I! Thankyou Best Western Plus Longview!

It’s clean and the staff is nice. Large rooms. Very close to interstate 20

One of the best BWP’s I’ve been to. Outstanding greeting and accommodation for my large truck and trailer. As my son and I were walking back inside from grabbing our stuff, the concierge made sure I was offered a cold beer on the house. After a day a driving, that was awesome!

Stayed here one night on my way to Dallas, very clean rooms and the Best staff, very friendly.

We stayed last night as a quick getaway before school starts back. Everything was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the renovation is wonderful. Definitely one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in — which is a Big deal to me. To top it off, the breakfast was delicious. I definitely would recommend to anyone.

Stay there in March 2018 they was doing there modeling and the rooms are beautiful place loved it

We are no longer a holiday inn express! newly renovated rooms! we are currently going under a HUGE full property renovation. We are currently a LONGVIEW EXPRESS INN until we finish our renovations and then we will be a new BEST WESTERN PLUS! come and see us and book a new renovated room by calling the front desk at 903-247-3000

It will be a 5 when the remodeling gets done. And you can't beat the breakfast, real food not just a muffin and coffwe. Keep reading, breakfast is still good, but that is all. 11.27.2017 Still working on the 3rd floor, but the manager says maybe 2 to 3 weeks and it will all be done. Still great friendly people, comfortable beds and pillows. CLEAN rooms, no need for black light tests here. 12.27.2017 Third floor still not done. When I checked in they had no hot water… or any other water. Seems a pipe broke and took out the entire hotel. They need to hurry with the third floor as this evenings room was pretty shabby. Carpet needs replaced as a sizeable piece of it has had the carpet "thread" removed. The toilet needs tightened to the floor, the bathroom had a leak and the patch was done poorly, still looks like it wasn't fixed. Still very friendly staff, but all these issues are giving them a black eye. 12.28.2017 I found out that the third floor is done now. So why am I (corporate account) who is here 3 to 5 days a month, still in this terrible room? See the pictures and know this is my last stay here.

On our second night there, we got back to the hotel to find that the water had been shut off. I called the front desk and they said it had been that way for a few hours now. They did not have anything posted to alert their guests of this situation and had one bottle of water. The manager was gone for the night and non responsive. I ended up having to call guest services to move my reservation somewhere else. The lack of preparation they had for dealing with this issue was very alarming. I ended up having to pack all our stuff in the car and move to another hotel in the middle of the night with my wife and four year old. I don't think I would stay at this hotel again until they get some better management. There is aultitude of things that could have been done to midigate the interruption to their guests that they just did not do.

The hotel was under renovation which they had notes posted apologizing for noise and construction and that they would do their best to keep guest comfortable. However they shut off the water due to a huge leak which honestly the first floor was drench when we walked to breakfast and when we came back that night the water was shut off. No one was notified and they did not provide water or give any indication of how long it would be like this. The manager was MIA and the poor clerk was left alone with the plumber who did not speak a word of English and refused to tell us how long it would be off. We checked out and left a formal complaint. The hotel with the amount of damage and renovation going on should be closed due to being uninhabitable. I am only offering two stars generously because the Clerk Marla did not hide and did the best she could and customer service managed to compensate which allowed us to move to a different hotel in the middle of that night. We did stay in a renovated room which was pretty updated and nice but this hotel needs some training in hospitality. Honestly it sucked and unless they clean house in the management of that hotel I personally will not return. But kiddos to HI Customer Service call support.

We arrived late at night (3am) during our trip from the West coast to the east in hopes that they had a room available. There was one clerk on the night shift who was in the back watching a movie. We waited for about 15 minutes before yelling out to see if she could come help us. Everytime we yelled hello, she would pause her movie, wait for us to say something else and then start playing the movie again. After several exchanges like this, we decided to call the phone at the front desk. When the phone sitting on the desk next to us rang, she came out and just looked at us. I asked her if she had any rooms available and she thought for a moment and said "no, I don't think so. " She never checked the system to verify and didn't seem confident in her answer but was not going to offer us a room. We are IHG spire elite members and perfer to stay in IHG hotels so I asked if there were any alvailable rooms nearby for IHG hotels. She said she did not know and just stood there making it clear she wasn't going to attempt to find out. I asked if she could find out for us. She said "uhh, I have the number. " I said ok… and she just started to read off the number without offering to help us find a room. I could've easily gotten the number off of Google so I stopped her and just called to find out myself. While online, I noticed that this particular hotel did have vacancies that night but we were told otherwise.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Hotel is under renovations, but we weren't bothered by the contractors. Good breakfast as usual.

Located next to a Cracker Barrel right off I-20. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff helpful and friendly.

Stayed for business, great clean room no issues. Would stay again when traveling through. Staff very friendly and quickly checked me in. Fast Wi-Fi.

Decent hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The fitness room only had one elliptical and one treadmill, and the treadmill was out of order. They were doing renovations and I started hearing loud noises from the floor above at about 7:30am. For the most part, it was a good place to stay, just a couple minor inconveniences, which were hopefully temporary.

It was okay, the staff was really nice and friendly, they made us feel welcome, everything was with a smile. Always showing concern, asking how we where and if we sleep okay, if we needed anything. The night shift front desk ms Carrollton. She was the same with all the guess for what I seen and heard, you can tell this woman love's her job. I enjoyed my stay.

Stay anywhere else, not here! I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express locations and usually always enjoy it, but this was not the case in Longview and I would not want to stay here again. Our room had a musty smell, my husband killed a bug on the chair, the shower curtain wasn't long enough or was hung too high so that water got on the floor when you took a shower, pancakes were unavailable at breakfast. When my husband notified the front desk staff about the shower curtain, the employee didn't care. Wish I could be reimbursed for this stay! If I could give less than one star, I would have.

Aaryn is such a wonderful guy! I would love to stay each day he works! Wish I k we his schedule!

It wasn't the worst hotel I have ever been in but it definitely wasn't great. My main complaint was the elevator. There were 2 separate occasions where the elevator to the right of the entrance, from the 3rd floor, stopped on the second floor for about 30 seconds and then proceeded to the 1st floor. Not only did it stop but it sounds like it is going to fall to pieces any minute. The breakfast was good but the eating area is way too small for how big the hotel is. The night we checked in, the employee there was not friendly in the slightest. I don't think she smiled even once. When we had to come back downstairs because our keys didn't work, she didn't apologize for the inconvenience and moved us to a different room without asking. When I asked if she maybe had just written down the wrong room number, she was very rude and gave me some attitude.

Room smelled of air freshener covering up a musty smell. Carpets were not very clean a had sticky areas. Had mold on the wall by our bed. Asked for a room with a microwave since our kid only eats certain things that we have to heat. Cord from it wouldn't even reach the plug from the cabinet it's in. We reserved our room for that and the pool. Went to the pool and was closed. Had algae growing on the walls and frog's in it. Late June should be open! Worst part we had fruit flies in our room! My father n laws room the ac on hi couldn't even get cool. They had fruit flies as well! Won't stay at this one again.

I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. The room was musky, smelled of mold and the air conditioning didn't work very well which explains the previous 2 problems. They also didn't accommodate my request to be near the elevator if I had a room on the 2nd floor.

We stayed here tonight. We have always had really good stays at other Holiday Inns but this one was awful. We traveled with our ball team for a tournament and reserved our room a week before arriving. We requested first floor and a fridge and microwave in our room and they led us to believe thats what we would receive. When we arrived they gave us, my parents, (whom also requested the same) and another team member 3rd floor. My parents room including the whole floor, about choked everyone to death with the smell of marijuana. Also with 87 degree weather, their pool was closed down and not a word was mentioned of it when the reservation was made. We asked about 1st floor and they said none were available but when the rest of the ball team arrived they were all put on the first floor. I complained to management about all our disappointments and they only offered to locate a fridge and microwave for my parents. Oh and they gave me a bottle of febreeze to spray in their room. They finally "found another room" for my parents even tho we had already asked before and told no. We left the same night and got stuck in their scary elevator. I will never be back to stay there nor recommend anyone else.

Hotel was very clean. Rates were reasonable and the staff was friendly.

Clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Wi-Fi wasn't very good and room was kind of small with no mini fridge or microwave.

Nice place, only problem was a malfunctioning elevator.

Be careful if you choose to stay at this hotel. They have a front counter person who has been caught stealing and yet she remains. The management here cares nothing for security. My advise is to find another hotel! there are many and much better to choose from!

Gotta say, we loved it. My family of 6 stayed only 1 night in June 2011. Would have stayed longer but was traveling through the area. The staff was great and very nice. Rooms were clean so the wife was really happy. The FREE buffett breakfast was awesome. I love eggs and sausages in the morning. Recommend it and will stay there again.

I'm a Priority Club member, and while it's been a very long time since I've stayed at this particular site, I was passing through town and abruptly needed to make some printouts of forms I use. Some locations have denied me use of the business center, however, and it was a welcome and relieving situation to be allowed access to their equipment for just a few minutes during the day for work.
